1Peat record reflecting Holo-cene climatic change in the Zoige Plateau and AMS radiocarbon dating显示文摘Through the use of reliable AMS dating of high resolution (15-30 years) peat and the establishment of monsoon climate proxies sequence, we have been able to recognize several cold, dry events in the Tibetan Plateau during the Holocene. The more obvious ones occurred around 12800, 11300, 10200, 9580, 8900, 6400, 4400, 3700, 2800 and 1500 cal. aBP. These events correlate well with both ice rafting events recorded in high latitude North Atlantic Ocean sediment cores and cooling events in the low latitude SST. Spectral analysis indicates high frequency climate variation on centennial-millennial time scale during the Holocene. 2A Regional Ocean Reanalysis System for Coastal Waters of China and Adjacent Seas显示文摘A regional ocean reanalysis system for the coastal waters of China and adjacent seas has been developed by the National Marine Data and Information Service(NMDIS).It produces a dataset package called CORA (China ocean reanalysis).The regional ocean model used is based on the Princeton Ocean Model with a generalized coordinate system(POMgcs).The model is parallelized by NMDIS with the addition of the wave breaking and tidal mixing processes into model parameterizations.Data assimilation is a sequential three-dimensional variational(3D-Var) scheme implemented within a multigrid framework.Observations include satellite remote sensing sea surface temperature(SST),altimetry sea level anomaly(SLA),and temperature/salinity profiles.The reanalysis fields of sea surface height,temperature,salinity,and currents begin with January 1986 and are currently updated every year. 3Immune response,stress resistance and bacterial challenge in juvenile rainbow trouts Oncorhynchus mykiss fed diets containing chitosan-oligosaccharides显示文摘Effects of dietary supplementation of chitosan-oligosaccharides(COS)on the growth performance,immune response,stress resistance,and disease resistance of juvenile rainbow trout Oncorhynchus mykiss were studied.Four experimental diets containing 0,20,40,or 60 mg/kg COS(COS0,COS20,COS40,and COS60,respectively)were fed to juvenile rainbow trout(initial weight=5.2±0.3 g)for 8 weeks.By the end of the feeding trial,representative groups of fish from each dietary treatment were challenged with stressor(30 sec air exposure)and pathogen exposure(intraperitoneal injection with Aeromonas hydrophila).Results showed that supplementation of COS in diets did not affect production performance and body composition of rainbow trout.However,fish fed the COS40 diet demonstrated improved phagocytic activities,respiratory burst activities and decreased serum cortisol level.Additionally,survival following A.hydrophila challenge was significant higher among fish fed the COS-supplemented feeds,although there was no difference based on the level of supplementation.The present study suggests that COS can be used as an immuno-stimulant in rainbow trout feeds.Lin LUO Xuefeng CAI Chuan HE Min XUE Xiufeng WU Haining CAO 2009Current Zoology2009,55,6:22
4In vitro differentiation of adipose-derived stem cells and bone marrow-derived stromal stem cells into neuronal-like cells显示文摘Adipose-derived stem cells and bone marrow-derived stromal stem cells were co-cultured with untreated or Aβ1-40-treated PC12 cells, or grown in supernatant derived from untreated or Aβ1-40-treated PC12 cells. Analysis by western blot and quantitative real-time PCR showed that protein levels of Nanog, Oct4, and Sox2, and mRNA levels of miR/125a/3p were decreased, while expression of insulin-like growth factor-2 and neuron specific enolase was increased. In comparison, the generation of neuron specific enolase-positive cells was most successful when adipose-derived stem cells were co-cultured with Aβ1-40-treated PC12 cells. Our results demonstrate that adipose-derived stem cells and bone marrow-derived stromal stem cells exhibit trends of neuronal-like cell differentiation after co-culture with Aβ1-40-treated PC12 cells. 5Laparoscopic versus open pancreaticoduodenectomy for pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma:a propensity score matching analysis显示文摘Background:A growing body of evidence supports the use of laparoscopic pancreaticoduodenectomy(LPD)as an efficient and feasible surgical technique.However,few studies have investigated its applicability in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma(PDAC),and the long-term efficacy of LPD on PDAC remains unclear.This study aimed to compare the short-and long-term outcomes between LPD and open pancreaticoduodenectomy(OPD)for PDAC.Methods:The data of patients who had OPD or LPD for PDAC between January 2013 and September 2017 were retrieved.Their postoperative outcomes and survival were compared after propensity score matching.Results:A total of 309 patients were included.After a 2:1 matching,93 cases in the OPD group and 55 in the LPD group were identified.Delayed gastric emptying(DGE),particularly grade B/C DGE,occurred less frequently in the LPD group than in the OPD group(1.8%vs.36.6%,P<0.001;1.8%vs.22.6%,P=0.001).The overall complication rates were significantly lower in the LPD group than in the OPD group(49.1%vs.71.0%,P=0.008),whereas the rates of major complications were similar(10.9%vs.14.0%,P=0.590).In addition,the median overall survival was comparable between the two groups(20.0 vs.18.7 months,P=0.293).Conclusion:LPD was found to be technically feasible with efficacy similar to OPD for patients with PDAC.Wentao Zhou Weiwei Jin Dansong Wang Chao Lu Xuefeng Xu Renchao Zhang Tiantao Kuang Yucheng Zhou Wenchuan Wu Dayong Jin Yiping Mou Wenhui Lou 2019Cancer Communications2019,39,1:14
6Insight-HXMT observations of the first binary neutron star merger GW170817显示文摘Finding the electromagnetic(EM) counterpart of binary compact star merger, especially the binary neutron star(BNS) merger,is critically important for gravitational wave(GW) astronomy, cosmology and fundamental physics. On Aug. 17, 2017,Advanced LIGO and Fermi/GBM independently triggered the first BNS merger, GW170817, and its high energy EM counterpart,GRB 170817 A, respectively, resulting in a global observation campaign covering gamma-ray, X-ray, UV, optical, IR, radio as well as neutrinos. The High Energy X-ray telescope(HE) onboard Insight-HXMT(Hard X-ray Modulation Telescope) is the unique high-energy gamma-ray telescope that monitored the entire GW localization area and especially the optical counterpart(SSS17 a/AT2017 gfo) with very large collection area(~1000 cm^2) and microsecond time resolution in 0.2-5 MeV. In addition,Insight-HXMT quickly implemented a Target of Opportunity(ToO) observation to scan the GW localization area for potential X-ray emission from the GW source. Although Insight-HXMT did not detect any significant high energy(0.2-5 MeV) radiation from GW170817, its observation helped to confirm the unexpected weak and soft nature of GRB 170817 A. Meanwhile,Insight-HXMT/HE provides one of the most stringent constraints(~10^(-7) to 10^(-6) erg/cm^2/s) for both GRB170817 A and any other possible precursor or extended emissions in 0.2-5 MeV, which help us to better understand the properties of EM radiation from this BNS merger. 8Total mesopancreas excision for pancreatic head cancer: analysis of 120 cases显示文摘Objective: To evaluate the feasibility and safety of total mesopancreas excision(TMpE) in the treatment of pancreatic head cancer. Methods: The clinical and pathological data of 120 patients with pancreatic head cancer who had undergone TMpE in our center from May 2010 to January 2014 were retrospectively analyzed. Results: The mean operative time was(275.0±50.2) min and the average intra-operative blood loss was(390.0±160.5) mL. Post-operative complications were reported in 45 patients, while no peri-operative death was noted. The specimen margins were measured in three dimensions, and 86 patients(71.6%) achieved R0 resection. 9Compact DG modules and Gorenstein DG algebras显示文摘When the base connected cochain DG algebra is cohomologically bounded, it is proved that the difference between the amplitude of a compact DG module and that of the DG algebra is just the projective dimension of that module. This yields the unboundedness of the cohomology of non-trivial regular DG algebras. When A is a regular DG algebra such that H(A) is a Koszul graded algebra, H(A) is proved to have the finite global dimension. And we give an example to illustrate that the global dimension of H(A) may be infinite, if the condition that H(A) is Koszul is weakened to the condition that A is a Koszul DG algebra. For a general regular DG algebra A, we give some equivalent conditions for the Gorensteiness. For a finite connected DG algebra A, we prove that Dc(A) and Dc(Aop) admit Auslander-Reiten triangles if and only if A and Aop are Gorenstein DG algebras. When A is a non-trivial regular DG algebra such that H(A) is locally finite, Dc(A) does not admit Auslander-Reiten triangles. 10The High Energy X-ray telescope (HE) onboard the Insight-HXMT astronomy satellite显示文摘The Insight-Hard X-ray Modulation Telescope(Insight-HXMT) is a broadband X-ray and γ-ray(1-3000 ke V) astronomy satellite. One of its three main telescopes is the High Energy X-ray telescope(HE). The main detector plane of HE comprises 18 Na I(Tl)/Cs I(Na) phoswich detectors, where Na I(Tl) is used as the primary detector to measure ~ 20-250 ke V photons incident from the field of view(FOV) defined by collimators, and Cs I(Na) is used as the active shielding detector to Na I(Tl) by pulse shape discrimination. Additionally, Cs I(Na) is used as an omnidirectional γ-ray monitor. The HE collimators have a diverse FOV,i.e. 1.1°×5.7°(15 units), 5.7°×5.7°(2 units), and blocked(1 unit). Therefore, the combined FOV of HE is approximately5.7°×5.7°. Each HE detector has a diameter of 190 mm resulting in a total geometrical area of approximately 5100 cm2, and the energy resolution is ~15% at 60 ke V. For each recorded X-ray event by HE, the timing accuracy is less than 10 μs and the deadtime is less than 10 μs. HE is used for observing spectra and temporal variability of X-ray sources in the 20-250 ke V band either by pointing observations for known sources or scanning observations to unveil new sources. Additionally, HE is used for monitoring the γ-ray burst in 0.2-3 Me V band. 12Aromatization over nanosized Ga-containing ZSM-5 zeolites prepared by different methods:Effect of acidity of active Ga species on the catalytic performance显示文摘Nanosized Ga-containing ZSM-5 zeolites were prepared via isomorphous substitution and impregnation followed by characterized using various techniques. The catalytic performance of the zeolites for the aromatization of 1-hexene was investigated. The results indicate that isomorphous substitution promotes the incorporation of Ga heteroatoms into the framework along with the formation of extra-framework GaO^+species([GaO^+]a) that have stronger interactions with the negative potential of the framework. In addition, based on the Py-IR results and catalytic performance, the [GaO^+]aspecies with stronger Lewis acid sites produced a better synergism with moderate Br?nsted acid sites and thus improved the selectivity to aromatic compounds. However, the impregnation results in the formation of Ga_2O_3 phase and small amounts of GaO^+species that are mainly located on the external surface([GaO^+]~b), which contribute to weaker Lewis acid sites due to weaker interactions with the zeolite framework. 14Migfilin promotes migration and invasion in glioma by driving EGFR and MMP-2 signalings:A positive feedback loop regulation显示文摘Glioma is the most common type of primary brain tumors in the central nervous system(CNS). Migfilin occurs in human glioma and enhances cellular motility via the epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR)pathway. However, the underlying molecular mechanism is not fully understood. In this study, we found that Migfilin promoted matrix metalloproteinase-2(MMP-2) activity, and restrained the expression of tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinase 2(TIMP2), which is an MMP-2 inhibitor. Functional and structural studies showed that the LIM1 domain of Migfilin was required for Migfilin-mediated TIMP2 expression inhibition and MMP-2 activity, and was also necessary in promoting cell motility. Furthermore, Migfilininduced EGFR phosphorylation was greatly reduced by MMP-2 inhibitor(GM6001) or si RNA, while Migfilin-induced MMP-2 activation was also blocked by the EGFR inhibitor(AG1478) or si RNA. MMP-2 and EGFR inhibitors and their si RNAs can block Migfilin-induced migration and invasion, respectively.These results demonstrated that EGFR and MMP-2 signalings may form a positive feedback loop to enhance Migfilin-induced migration and invasion. Finally, we detected that the expression of Migfilin,EGFR phosphorylation(Tyr1173) and MMP-2 activity had a positive correlation in the clinical glioma sample. 15Optical observations of LIGO source GW 170817 by the Antarctic Survey Telescopes at Dome A,Antarctica显示文摘The LIGO detection of gravitational waves(GW) from merging black holes in 2015 marked the beginning of a new era in observational astronomy. The detection of an electromagnetic signal from a GW source is the critical next step to explore in detail the physics involved. The Antarctic Survey Telescopes(AST3),located at Dome A, Antarctica, is uniquely situated for rapid response time-domain astronomy with its continuous night-time coverage during the austral winter. We report optical observations of the GW source(GW 170817) in the nearby galaxy NGC 4993 using AST3. The data show a rapidly fading transient at around 1 day after the GW trigger, with the i-band magnitude declining from 17:23 ± 0:13 magnitude to 17:72 ± 0:09 magnitude in ~1:8 h. The brightness and time evolution of the optical transient associated with GW 170817 are broadly consistent with the predictions of models involving merging binary neutron stars. 17Deformation behavior of Cu-12wt%Al alloy wires with continuous columnar crystals in dieless drawing process显示文摘The microstructure and mechanical properties of Cu-12wt%Al alloy wires which are composed of continuous columnar crystals after dieless drawing forming at drawing speed of 1.0―1.4 mm/s and deformation temperature of 600―900℃ were analyzed, and deformation behavior of the alloy during dieless drawing forming was experimentally investigated. The results showed that in the abovemen-tioned conditions, recrystallization phenomenon was not found during dieless drawing forming. When a drawing speed of 1.0 mm/s was used, the grain boundaries were out of straight gradually with increasing deformation temperature from 600℃ to 900℃, and tensile strength of the dieless drawn Cu-12wt%Al alloy wires increased while elongations decreased with increasing deformation temperature. At drawing speed of 1.1―1.2 mm/s and deformation temperature of 600℃, the effect of dieless drawing forming process on the microstructure of the alloy was inconspicuous, and when drawing speed was up to 1.3―1.4 mm/s, the grain boundaries of continuous columnar crystals became zigzag while there was little effect of drawing speed of 1.1―1.4 mm/s on the elongation and tensile strength of the alloy wires.LIU XueFeng WU YuHui XIE JianXin 2009Science China(Technological Sciences)2009,52,8:6

19Multi-dimension apportionment of clean air “parade blue”phenomenon in Beijing显示文摘The mass concentration and major chemical components of fine particulate matter were measured before,during and after Beijing's massive parade commemorating 70th anniversary of the Chinese Victory in World War II on September 3,2015.Regional emission inventory,positive matrix factorization(PMF),observations from space and backward air mass trajectories were jointly applied to identify the major pollution sources and their temporal and spatial variations.The contributions of emissions variations and the meteorological conditions related to the'parade blue'phenomenon in Beijing and its surrounding areas were investigated in detail.The main cause of the decreased PM_(2.5)mass concentration was attributed to the absolute reduction in emissions of primary air pollutants.The chemical composition of PM_(2.5)varied significantly before,during and after the parade.Fugitive dust particles were well controlled,the secondary formation of PM_(2.5)was reduced along with the controlled gaseous precursors'emissions from vehicles and industrial sources during the temporary intensified control period.During the parade period,the SO_2and NO_2column concentrations in Beijing and the surrounding areas decreased sharply,indicating that the coordinated reduction in primary emissions from the surrounding areas of Beijing played an important role in lowering the ambient concentration of SO_2and NO_2and accordingly lowered PM_(2.5)and improved the regional air quality.A comparison of the temperature,humidity,and wind speed and direction during the same periods in 2014 and 2015 showed that the meteorological conditions positively influenced the achievement of'parade blue'.Yifeng Xue Yong Wang Xuefeng Li Hezhong Tian Lei Nie Xiaoqing Wu Junrui Zhou Zhen Zhou 2018Journal of Environmental Sciences2018,30,3:5
20Monoclonal antibody-based serological methods for detecting Citrus tristeza virus in citrus groves显示文摘Citrus tristeza virus(CTV) is one of the most economically important citrus viruses and harms the citrus industry worldwide.To develop reliable and effective serological detection assays of CTV,the major capsid protein(CP) gene of CTV was expressed in Escherichia coli BL21(DE3) using the expression vector p ET-28 a and purified through Ni^+-NTA affinity chromatography.The recombinant protein was used to immunize BALB/c mice.Four hybridoma cell lines(14B10,14H11,20D5,and20G12) secreting monoclonal antibodies(MAbs) against CTV were obtained through conventional hybridoma technology.The titers of MAb-containing ascitic fluids secreted by the four hybridoma lines ranged from 10-6 to 10-7 in indirect enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).Western blots showed that all four MAbs could specifically react with CTV CP.Using the prepared MAbs,dot-ELISA,Tissue print-ELISA,and triple antibody sandwich(TAS)-ELISA were developed to detect CTV in tree nurseries and epidemiological studies.The developed dot-ELISA and TAS-ELISA methods could detect CTV in crude extracts of infected citrus leaves with dilutions of 1:2560 and1:10,240(w/v,g/m L),respectively.Tissue print-ELISA was particularly useful for large-scale field sample detection,mainly owing to its simplicity and lack of sample preparation requirements.The field survey revealed that CTV is prevalent on citrus trees in the Chongqing Municipality,Jiangxi Province,and Zhejiang Province of China.The coincidence rate of serological and RT-PCR test results reached more than 99.5%.The prepared MAbs against CTV and established sensitive and specific serological assays have a significant role in the detection and prevention and control of CTV in our country.Zhen Liu Zhe Chen Jian Hong Xuefeng Wang Changyong Zhou Xueping Zhou Jianxiang Wu 2016Virologica Sinica2016,31,4:5
