| 1 | Peat record reflecting Holo-cene climatic change in the Zoige Plateau and AMS radiocarbon dating显示文摘Through the use of reliable AMS dating of high resolution (15-30 years) peat and the establishment of monsoon climate proxies sequence, we have been able to recognize several cold, dry events in the Tibetan Plateau during the Holocene. The more obvious ones occurred around 12800, 11300, 10200, 9580, 8900, 6400, 4400, 3700, 2800 and 1500 cal. aBP. These events correlate well with both ice rafting events recorded in high latitude North Atlantic Ocean sediment cores and cooling events in the low latitude SST. Spectral analysis indicates high frequency climate variation on centennial-millennial time scale during the Holocene. | 3 | Structural revolution of atomically dispersed Mn sites dictates oxygen reduction performance显示文摘An efficient preparation and local coordination environment regulation of isolated single-atom sites catalysts(ISASC)for improved activity is still challenging.Herein,we develop a solid phase thermal diffusion strategy to synthesize Mn ISASC on highly uniform nitrogen-doped carbon nanotubes by employing MnO_(2) nanowires@ZIF-8 core-shell structure.Under high-temperature,the Mn species break free from core-MnO_(2) lattice,which will be trapped by carbon defects derived from shell-ZIF-8 carbonization,and immobilized within carbon substrate.Furthermore,the poly-dispersed Mn sites with two nitrogen-coordinated centers can be controllably renovated into four-nitrogen-coordinated Mn sites using NH3 treatment technology.Both experimental and computational investigations indicate that the symmetric coordinated Mn sites manifest outstanding oxygen reduction activity and superior stability in alkaline and acidic solutions.This work not only provides efficient way to regulate the coordination structure of ISASC to improve catalytic performance but also paves the way to reveal its significant promise for commercial application. | Zhengkun Yang Xiaolin Wang Mengzhao Zhu Xinyan Leng Wenxing Chen Wenyu Wang Qian Xu Li-Ming Yang Yuen Wu | 2021 | Nano Research2021,14,12: | 1 |

| 7 | Fluoropyridine family:Bifunction as electrolyte solvent and additive to achieve dendrites-free lithium metal batteries显示文摘Electrolyte formulation with high stability towards both Li metal anode and high-voltage cathode is considered as one of key points for the high-energy density lithium metal batteries(LMBs).In our previous study,by adding only 2%of 2-fluoropyridine(2-FP)as the additive in the carbonate and ether-based electrolyte formulations effectively suppressed Li dendrite growth.In this study,we further found that the main fluoropyridine(FP)family members can serve as not only the effective additive but also the excellent electrolyte solvent in the electrolyte formulations to enhance the performance of LMBs.For the 2-FP,when it was also used the electrolyte solvent and paired with single-salt lithium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide(Li TFSI),the obtained electrolyte formulation of 1 M Li TFSI in pure2-FP solvent not only allowed faster ion transport though solvation effect,but also possessed impressive oxidation stability window over 4.3 V.As a result,the high-voltage LiNi_(1/3)Mn1_(/3)Co_(1/3)O_(2)(1.5 mA h cm^(-2))|Li metal battery with it exhibited a capacity retention of more than 80%over a long-term cycle even at 0.45 m A cm^(-2)with a lean electrolyte(30μL).Meanwhile,for another FP family member(i.e.,3-FP)as the electrolyte additive,the 4.3 V LMBs with the carbonate-based electrolyte containing only 1%of 3-FP maintained 83.9%of initial capacity after 200 cycles at 0.75 m A cm^(-2).Density functional theory(DFT)calculations and experiments confirmed that three typical FPs,i.e.,2-FP,3-FP and 4-FP can not only regulate the initial Li nucleation process,but more importantly also induce a protective layer,leading to a uniform and dendrites-free Li deposition.This bifunction of the FP family member as either electrolyte solvent or additive in the electrolyte formulations should be promising for the achieving of dendrites-free high-energy density LMBs. | Zhengkun Xie Xiaowei An Zhijun Wu Xiyan Yue Jiajia Wang Xiaogang Hao Abuliti Abudula Guoqing Guan | 2021 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,15: | 0 |
