| 1 | Prevalence of Autism Spectrum Disorder in China:A Nationwide Multi-center Population-based Study Among Children Aged 6 to 12 Years显示文摘This study aimed to obtain the first national estimate of the prevalence of autism spectrum disorder(ASD) in Chinese children.We targeted the population of 6 to 12-year-old children for this prevalence study by multistage convenient cluster sampling.The Modified Chinese Autism Spectrum Rating Scale was used for the screening process.Of the target population of 142,086 children,88.5%(n=125,806) participated in the study.A total of 363 children were confirmed as having ASD.The observed ASD prevalence rate was 0.29%(95% CI:0.26%-0.32%) for the overall population.After adjustment for response rates,the estimated number of ASD cases was867 in the target population sample,thereby achieving an estimated prevalence of 0.70%(95% CI:0.64%-0.74%).The prevalence was significantly higher in boys than in girls(0.95%;95% CI:0.87%-1.02% versus 0.30%;95%CI:0.26%-0.34%;P <0.001).Of the 363 confirmed ASD cases,43.3% were newly diagnosed,and most of those(90.4%) were attending regular schools,and 68.8% of the children with ASD had at least one neuropsychiatric comorbidity.Our findings provide reliable data on the estimated ASD prevalence and comorbidities in Chinese children. | Hao Zhou Xiu Xu Weili Yan Xiaobing Zou Lijie Wu Xuerong Luo Tingyu Li Yi Huang Hongyan Guan Xiang Chen Meng Mao Kun Xia Lan Zhang Erzhen Li Xiaoling Ge Lili Zhang Chunpei Li Xudong Zhang Yuanfeng Zhou Ding Ding Andy Shih Eric Fombonne Yi Zheng Jisheng Han Zhongsheng Sun Yong-hui Jiang Yi Wang LATENT-NHC Study Team | 2020 | Neuroscience Bulletin2020,36,9: | 158 |
| 2 | Broadband mid-infrared molecular spectroscopy based on passive coherent optical–optical modulated frequency combs显示文摘Mid-infrared dual-comb spectroscopy is of great interest owing to the strong spectroscopic features of trace gases,biological molecules,and solid matter with higher resolution,accuracy,and acquisition speed. However,the prerequisite of achieving high coherence of optical sources with the use of bulk sophisticated control systems prevents their widespread use in field applications. Here we generate a highly mutually coherent dual midinfrared comb spectrometer based on the optical–optical modulation of a continuous-wave (CW) interband or quantum cascade laser. Mutual coherence was passively achieved without post-data processes or active carrier envelope phase-locking processes. The center wavelength of the generated mid-infrared frequency combs can be flexibly tuned by adjusting the wavelength of the CW seeds. The parallel detection of multiple molecular species,including C_(2)H_(2),CH_(4),H_(2)CO,H_(2)S,COS,and H_(2)O,was achieved. | 3 | A nonlocal gradient concentration method for image smoothing显示文摘It is challenging to consistently smooth natural images, yet smoothing results determine the quality of a broad range of applications in computer vision. To achieve consistent smoothing, we propose a novel optimization model making use of the redundancy of natural images, by defining a nonlocal concentration regularization term on the gradient. This nonlocal constraint is carefully combined with a gradientsparsity constraint, allowing details throughout the whole image to be removed automatically in a datadriven manner. As variations in gradient between similar patches can be suppressed effectively, the new model has excellent edge preserving, detail removal,and visual consistency properties. Comparisons with state-of-the-art smoothing methods demonstrate the effectiveness of the new method. | 10 | Facile generation of highly durable thiol-functionalized polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane based superhydrophobic melamine foam显示文摘In this study,a durable superhydrophobic/superoleophilic melamine foam was fabricated by a facile and rapid one-step thiol-ene click chemistry and Michael addition reaction,which demonstrated excellent robustness in oil/water separation.First,1H,1H,2H-perfluoro-1-hexene reacted with thiol-functionalized polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane via the thiol-ene click chemistry to obtain a fluorinated thiol-functionalized polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane solution.Subsequently,the melamine foam was immersed to the solution system to form nanoaggregates on the melamine foam surface by the Michael addition reaction in the presence of ultraviolet light.The micro/nano rough structure and low surface energy of the nanoaggregates layer endowed the pristine melamine foam with superhydrophobicity;the water contact angle was greater than 150°.More importantly,the as-prepared melamine foam could withstand harsh conditions,such as a corrosive solution environment,strong ultraviolet light,mechanical compression,high and low temperature exposure,and ultrasonic washing.Driven by gravity,the as-prepared melamine foam could efficiently separate the oil/water mixtures and maintain 98%separation efficiency at high and low temperatures.In addition,it maintained the desirable absorption capability in different oil/organic solvents even after 15 absorption cycles.Accordingly,this facile,low-cost,and robust onestep method provides important support for the superhydrophobic oil/water separation field. | Meng Li Yuanfeng Fang Chun Liu Mengmeng Zhou Xiaomei Miao Yongbing Pei Yue Yan Wenjun Xiao Huayu Qiu Lianbin Wu | 2022 | Frontiers of Chemical Science and Engineering2022,16,8: | 0 |

The uncommon EGFR-mutated NSCLC is associated with poor clinical outcomes and generally achieved unsatisfactory effects to the current therapies using standard EGFR-tyrosine kinase inhibitors(TKIs), including afatinib and osimertinib. Therefore, it is necessary to develop more novel EGFR-TKIs to treat uncommon EGFR-mutated NSCLC.Aumolertinib is a third-generation EGFR-TKI approved in China for treating advanced NSCLC with common EGFR mutations. However, it remains unclear whether aumolertinib is effective in uncommon EGFR-mutated NSCLC. In this work, the in vitro anticancer activity of aumolertinib was investigated in engineered Ba/F3 cells and patient-derived cells bearing diverse uncommon EGFR mutations. Aumolertinib was shown to be more potent in inhibiting the viability of various uncommon EGFR-mutated cell lines than those with wild-type EGFR. And in vivo, aumolertinib could also significantly inhibit tumor growth in two mouse allograft models(V769-D770insASV and L861Q mutations) and a patientderived xenografts model(H773-V774insNPH mutation). Importantly, aumolertinib exerts responses against tumors in advanced NSCLC patients with uncommon EGFR mutations. | 16 | Scale-adaptive superpixels for medical images显示文摘Background:Superpixel segmentation is a powerful preprocessing tool to reduce the complexity of image processing.Traditionally,size uniformity is one of the significant features of superpixels.However,in medical images,in which subjects scale varies greatly and background areas are often flat,size uniformity rarely conforms to the varying content.To obtain the fewest superpixels with retaining important details,the size of superpixel should be chosen carefully.Methods:We propose a scale-adaptive superpixel algorithm relaxing the size-uniformity criterion for medical images,especially pathological images.A new path-based distance measure and superpixel region growing schema allow our algorithm to generate superpixels with different scales according to the complexity of image content,that is smaller(larger)superpixels in color-riching areas(flat areas).Results:The proposed superpixel algorithm can generate superpixels with boundary adherence,insensitive to noise,and with extremely big sizes and extremely small sizes on one image.The number of superpixels is much smaller than size-uniformly superpixel algorithms while retaining more details of images.Conclusion:With the proposed algorithm,the choice of superpixel size is automatic,which frees the user from the predicament of setting suitable superpixel size for a given application.The results on the nuclear dataset show that the proposed superpixel algorithm superior to the respective state-of-the-art algorithms on both quantitative and quantitative comparisons. | Limin Sun Dongyang Ma Yuanfeng Zhou | 2022 | Quantitative Biology2022,10,3: | 0 |
| 17 | Image smoothing based on global sparsity decomposition and a variable parameter显示文摘Smoothing images,especially with rich texture,is an important problem in computer vision.Obtaining an ideal result is difficult due to complexity,irregularity,and anisotropicity of the texture.Besides,some properties are shared by the texture and the structure in an image.It is a hard compromise to retain structure and simultaneously remove texture.To create an ideal algorithm for image smoothing,we face three problems.For images with rich textures,the smoothing effect should be enhanced.We should overcome inconsistency of smoothing results in different parts of the image.It is necessary to create a method to evaluate the smoothing effect.We apply texture pre-removal based on global sparse decomposition with a variable smoothing parameter to solve the first two problems.A parametric surface constructed by an improved Bessel method is used to determine the smoothing parameter.Three evaluation measures:edge integrity rate,texture removal rate,and gradient value distribution are proposed to cope with the third problem.We use the alternating direction method of multipliers to complete the whole algorithm and obtain the results.Experiments show that our algorithm is better than existing algorithms both visually and quantitatively.We also demonstrate our method’s ability in other applications such as clip-art compression artifact removal and content-aware image manipulation. | Xiang Ma Xuemei Li Yuanfeng Zhou Caiming Zhang | 2021 | Computational Visual Media2021,7,4: | 0 |
