7Surveillance, epidemiology, and pathogen spectrum of hand, foot, and mouth disease in mainland of China from 2008 to 2017显示文摘Hand,foot and mouth disease(HFMD)was reported in May 2,2008 to be the 38th legally notifiable disease in China's National Notifiable Disease Reporting and Surveillance System.In order to solve the infection,an extensive three-level HFMD surveillance laboratory network was established.In this study,the framework of that network is assessed and the incidence of HFMD in China from 2008 to 2017 is reported using a descriptive epidemiologic method.During these 10 years,a series of techniques have been widely applied in all the network laboratories.Using information and material obtained from the network,a virus bank and database containing 18,238 viruses were established.Nationally,18,184,834 HFMD cases,including 152,436 severe cases and 3633 fatal cases,were reported in mainland of China.The average annual incidence in the population was 133.99/100,000 people,with a maximum incidence of 205.06/100,000 people in 2014.The incidence and mortality rates of HFMD were the highest in children aged 1–2 years.The numbers of reported cases fluctuated,with a high incidence observed every 2 years.An overall increase in the number of reported cases was also observed throughout the study period.Despite this,the incidence of severe cases and the mortality rate have been decreasing.High-risk regions are located in southern,eastern,and central China.Two peaks of HFMD infection cases were observed annually except for Northeast China.Different proportions of enterovirus serotypes were observed during the studied years.The predominant enterovirus varies from year to year,but the disease severity is always closely related to the specific serotype.EV-A71 is the dominant serotype associated with severe and fatal cases,with constituent ratios of 70.03%and 92.23%,respectively.The studied highly sensitive and efficient surveillance network provides information that is critical for prevention and control of the disease.It is extremely necessary and important to continuously conduct extensive virological surveillance for HFMD.Tianjiao Ji Taoli Han Xiaojuan Tan Shuangli Zhu Dongmei Yan Qian Yang Yang Song Aili Cui Yan Zhang Naiying Mao Songtao Xu Zhen Zhu Dandan Niu Yong Zhang Wenbo Xu 2019Biosafety and Health2019,1,1:26
8Molecular Epidemiological Analysis of Echovirus 19 Isolated From an Outbreak Associated With Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease (HFMD) in Shandong Province of China显示文摘Objective To elucidate the genetic characterization and molecular epidemiological features of Echovirus 19(E19)isolates collected from an outbreak associated with hand,foot and mouth disease(HFMD)in Tai'an city of Shandong Province of China from July to September,2003.Methods Thirty seven Echovirus 19 isolates were isolated from stool specimens and throat swabs collected during the outbreak,then major capsid(VP1)genomic sequence was determined,and phylogenetic tree was done based on the VP1 sequences among these 37 and other E19 viruses deposited in the Genbank.Also a representative strain named CHN-SD03-TN12 was selected for sequencing of 5'-untranslated regions(5'-UTR).Results The identity rate was about 98.9%-100% among all these 37 E19 viruses.The genetic relationships between these 37 E19 isolates and other strains reported were also depicted.The identity rate was about 78.4%-78.9% compared with E19 reference strain Burke.The substitutions in the sequence of 5'-UTR resulted in changes in the conjectural properties of 5'-UTR of E19 viruses.Conclusion The genetic features of E19 viruses isolated during the outbreak in Shandong Province in 2003 may be associated with a genetic and antigenic drift that changes the virulence of the Shandong isolates,but the molecular changes in Shandong E19 viruses contributing to their phenotype remain to be further illuminated.However,the sequences described in this paper substantiate the changes taken place in capsid VP1 and 5'UTR regions.These substitutions may contribute to their tropism and virulence,and play a significant role in pathogenesis and clinical manifestations of the disease.ZHEN ZHU WEN-BO XU AI-QIANG XU HAI-YAN WANG YONG ZHANG LI-ZHI SONG Hui-LiYANG YANLI FENGJI 2007Biomedical and Environmental Sciences2007,20,4:22

10Current status of surgical treatment of rectal cancer in China显示文摘With the changing lifestyle and the acceleration of aging in the Chinese population,the incidence and mortality of colorectal cancer(CRC)have risen in the last decades.On the contrary,the incidence and mortality of CRC have continued to decline in the USA since the 1980s,which is mainly attributed to early screening and standardized diagnosis and treatment.Rectal cancer accounts for the largest proportion of CRC in China,and its treatment regimens are complex.At present,surgical treatment is still the most important treatment for rectal cancer.Since the first Chinese guideline for diagnosis and treatment of CRC was issued in 2010,the fourth version has been revised in 2020.These guidelines have greatly promoted the standardization and internationalization of CRC diagnosis and treatment in China.And with the development of comprehensive treatment methods such as neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy,targeted therapy,and immunotherapy,the post-operative quality of life and prognosis of patients with rectal cancer have improved.We believe that the inflection point of the rising incidence and mortality of rectal cancer will appear in the near future in China.This article reviewed the current status and research progress on surgical therapy of rectal cancer in China.Yong Yang Han-Yang Wang Yong-Kang Chen Jia-Jia Chen Can Song Jin Gu 2020Chinese Medical Journal2020,,22:21

16Application of fiberoptic bronchscopy in patients with acute exacerbations of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease during sequential weaning of invasive-noninvasive mechanical ventilation显示文摘BACKGROUND:Early withdrawal of invasive mechanical ventilation(IMV) followed by noninvasive MV(NIMV) is a new strategy for changing modes of treatment in patients with acute exacerbations of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(AECOPD) with acute respiratory failure(ARF).Using pulmonary infection control window(PIC window) as the switch point for transferring from invasive to noninvasive MV,the time for early extubation can be more accurately judged,and therapy efficacy can be improved.This study aimed to prospectively investigate the clinical effectiveness of fiberoptic bronchscopy(FOB) in patients with AECOPD during sequential weaning of invasive-noninvasive MV.METHODS:Since July 2006 to January 2011,106 AECOPD patients with ARF were treated with comprehensive medication and IMV after hospitalization.Patients were randomly divided into two groups according to whether fiberoptic bronchoscope is used(group A,n=54) or not(group B,n=52) during sequential weaning from invasive to noninvasive MV.In group A,for sputum suction and bronchoalveolar lavage(BAL),a fiberoptic bronchoscope was put into the airway from the outside of an endotracheal tube,which was accompanied with uninterrupted use of a ventilator.After achieving PIC window,patients of both groups changed to NIMV mode,and weaned from ventilation.The following listed indices were used to compare between the groups after treatment:1) the occurrence time of PIC,the duration of MV,the length of ICU stay,the success rate of weaning from MV for the first time,the rate of reventilatJon and the occurrence rate of ventilator-associated pneumonia(VAP);2) the convenience and safety of FOB manipulation.The results were compared using Student's f test and the Chi-square test.RESULTS:The occurrence time of PIC was(5.01 ±1.49) d,(5.87±1.87) d in groups A and B,respectively(P<0.05);the duration of MV was(6.98±1.84) d,(8.69±2.41) d in groups A and B,respectively(P<0.01);the length of ICU stay was(9.25±1.84) d,(11.10±2.63) d in groups A and B,respectively(P<0.01);the success rate of weaning for the first time was 96.30%,76.92%in groups A and B,respectively(P<0.01);the rate of reventilation was 5.56%,19.23%in groups A and B,respectively(P<0.05);and the occurrence rate of VAP was 3.70%,23.07%in groups A and B,respectively(P<0.01).Moreover,it was easy and safe to manipulate FOB,and no side effect was observed.CONCLUSIONS:The application of FOB in patients with AECOPD during sequential weaning of invasive-noninvasive MV is effective in ICU.It can decrease the duration of MV and the length of ICU stay,increase the success rate from weaning MV for the first time,reduce the rate of reventilation and the occurrence rate of VAP.In addition,such a method is convenient and safe in patients of this kind.Rong-rong Song Yan-ping Qiu Yong-ju Chen Yong Ji 2012World Journal of Emergency Medicine2012,3,1:17
17Effects of maize-soybean relay intercropping on crop nutrient uptake and soil bacterial community显示文摘Maize-soybean relay intercropping is an effective approach to improve the crop yield and nutrient use efficiency,which is widely practiced by farmers in southwest of China.To elucidate the characteristics of different planting patterns on crop nutrient uptake,soil chemical properties,and soil bacteria community in maize-soybean relay intercropping systems,we conducted a field experiment in 2015–2016 with single factor treatments,including monoculture maize(MM),monoculture soybean(MS),maize-soybean relay intercropping(IMS),and fallow(CK).The results showed that the N uptake of maize grain increased in IMS compared with MM.Compared with MS,the yield and uptake of N,P,and K of soybean grain were increased by 25.5,24.4,9.6,and 22.4%in IMS,respectively,while the N and K uptakes in soybean straw were decreased in IMS.The soil total nitrogen,available phosphorus,and soil organic matter contents were significantly higher in IMS than those of the corresponding monocultures and CK.Moreover,the soil protease,soil urease,and soil nitrate reductase activities in IMS were higher than those of the corresponding monocultures and CK.The phyla Proteobacteria,Acidobacteria,Chloroflexi,and Actinobacteria dominated in all treatments.Shannon’s index in IMS was higher than that of the corresponding monocultures and CK.The phylum Proteobacteria proportion was positively correlated with maize soil organic matter and soybean soil total nitrogen content,respectively.These results indicated that the belowground interactions increased the crop nutrient(N and P)uptake and soil bacterial community diversity,both of which contributed to improved soil nutrient management for legume-cereal relay intercropping systems.FU Zhi-dan ZHOU Li CHEN Ping DU Qing PANG Ting SONG Chun WANG Xiao-chun LIU Wei-guo YANG Wen-yu YONG Tai-wen 2019Journal of Integrative Agriculture2019,18,9:17
18Adaptive finite-time backstepping control for attitude tracking of spacecraft based on rotation matrix显示文摘This paper investigates two finite-time controllers for attitude control of spacecraft based on rotation matrix by an adaptive backstepping method. Rotation matrix can overcome the drawbacks of unwinding which makes a spacecraft perform a large-angle maneuver when a small-angle maneuver in the opposite rotational direction is sufficient to achieve the objective. With the use of adaptive control, the first robust finite-time controller is continuous without a chattering phenomenon. The second robust finite-time controller can compensate external disturbances with unknown bounds. Theoretical analysis shows that both controllers can make a spacecraft following a time-varying reference attitude signal in finite time and guarantee the stability of the overall closed-loop system.
