1Characteristics of strike-slip inversion structures of the Karatau fault and their petroleum geological significances in the South Turgay Basin,Kazakhstan显示文摘The Karatau fault is one of the important strike-slip faults in central Asia,and the South Turgay Basin is located towards its northern end.Detailed seismic interpretation indicated that the strikeslip tectonism of the Karatau fault weakened gradually from west to east in the South Turgay Basin.Typical flower structures developed on the section,and strike-slip faults showed an echelon pattern on planar view.The Karatau strike-slip fault affected the South Turgay Basin in two periods:(1) The South Turgay strike-slip pull-apart rift basin formed as a result of regional extensive stress in the Early-Middle Jurassic,characterized by the juxtaposition of horsts and grabens.The formation of horsts provided favorable reservoir spaces for later hydrocarbon accumulation,and different filling stages of grabens controlled different reservoir-forming factors in grabens.(2) Two stages of tectonic inversion occurred in the Late Jurassic and Late Cretaceous and played a crucial role in the final shape of the structure in the South Turgay Basin.The oil and gas migrated to form reservoirs and mainly concentrated in the horsts,graben slopes and in both sides of the strike-slip fault zone.In the case of the degree of accumulation of petroleum,the factor explaining why horsts are better than grabens is the strike-slip pull-apart of the South Turgay Basin,and the structure inversion of the South Turgay Basin explains why the west graben is better than the east one.Overall,the Karatau strike-slip fault played a very important role in the formation of the South Turgay Basin and its hydrocarbon accumulations.Yin Wei Fan Zifei Zheng Junzhang Yin Jiquan Zhang Mingjun Sheng Xiaofeng Guo Jianjun Li Qiyan Lin yaping 2012Petroleum Science2012,9,4:11
2Tumor microenvironment-responsive docetaxel-loaded micelle combats metastatic breast cancer显示文摘Efficient tumor-targeting drug delivery systems are urgently needed for treating metastatic breast cancer.In this work, a docetaxel(DTX)-loaded micelle(pDM) as the tumor-microenvironment-responsive delivery platform is developed. The micelle is composed of a pH-sensitive amphiphilic copolymer,poly((1,4-butanediol)-diacrylate-b-N,N-diisopropylethylenediamine)-polyethyleneimine(BD-PEI), and a matrix metalloproteinase(MMP)-responsive polymer, poly((1,4-butanediol)-diacrylate-b-N,N-diisopropy lethylenediamine)-peptide-polyethylene glycol(PEG)(BD-peptide-PEG). The PEG block of BD-peptidePEG will be split by MMPs at the tumor microenvironment, which leads to the change of the surface charge and particle size of the micelle to more positive and smaller one. Owing to this transformation and enhanced permeability and retention(EPR) effect, pDM delivers more DTX into tumor tissues and is internalized more efficiently by tumor cells than the non-MMP-sensitive micelles in the 4 T1 tumorbearing mice model. In addition, DTX is released in acidic endo/lysosomes due to the dissociation of the micelle, triggered by the protonation of the hydrophobic block of BD-PEI. As a result, the DTX-loaded micelle inhibits primary tumor growth and pulmonary metastasis effectively. 4Essential sequence of the N-terminal cytoplasmic localization-related domain of huntingtin and its effect on huntingtin aggregates显示文摘Huntington's disease(HD) is caused by abnormal CAG repeat expansion in the 5′-end of the Huntingtin(HTT) gene.In addition to the canonical C-terminal full-length huntingtin(htt) nuclear export signal,a cytoplasmic localization-related domain(CLRD) in the N-terminus of htt has recently been reported.Here,we analyzed this domain by introducing deletion and substitution mutations in a truncated N-terminal htt protein and subsequently monitored htt expression,aggregation and subcellular localization by immunocytochemistry and Western blot analysis.We demonstrated that Htt4-17 was the essential sequence for htt cytoplasmic localization.We also found that the subcellular distribution of htt was altered when Htt1-17 was mutated to contain amino acids of different charges,suggesting a structural requirement of Htt1-17 for the cytoplasmic localization of htt. 5Synthesis of MoX2 (X =Se or S) monolayers with high-concentration 1T'phase on 4H/fcc-Au nanorods for hydrogen evolution显示文摘Controlled synthesis of transition metal dichalcogenide (TMD) monolayers with unusual crystal phases has attracted increasing attention due to their promising applications in electrocatalysis.However,the facile and large-scale preparation of TMD monolayers with high-concentration unusual crystal phase still remains a challenge.Herein,we report the synthesis of MoX2 (X =Se or S) monolayers with high-concentration semimetallic 1T'phase by using the 4H/face-centered cubic (fcc)-Au nanorod as template to form the 4H/fcc-Au@MoX2 nanocomposite.The concentrations of 1T'phase in the prepared MoSe2 and MoS2 monolayers are up to 86% and 81%,respectively.As a proof-of-concept application,the obtained Au@MoS2 nanocomposite is used for the electrocatalytic hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) in acid medium,exhibiting excellent performance with a low overpotential of 178 mV at the current density of 10 mNcm^2,a small Tafel slope of 43.3 mV/dec,and excellent HER stability.This work paves a way for direct synthesis of TMD monolayers with high-concentration of unusual crystal phase for the electrocatalytic application.Zhengqing Liu Xiao Zhang Yue Gong Qipeng Lu Zhicheng Zhang Hongfei Cheng Qinglang Ma Junze Chen Meiting Zhao Bo Chen Ye Chen Xue-Jun Wu Pengfei Yin Lin Gu Yaping Du Hua Zhang 2019Nano Research2019,12,6:3
6Variable Parameter Nonlinear Control for Maximum Power Point Tracking Considering Mitigation of Drive-train Load显示文摘Since mechanical loads exert a significant influence on the life span of wind turbines, the reduction of transient load on drive-train shaft has received more attention when implementing a maximum power point tracking(MPPT) controller.Moreover, a trade-off between the efficiency of wind energy extraction and the load level of drive-train shaft becomes a key issue. However, for the existing control strategies based on nonlinear model of wind turbines, the MPPT efficiencies are improved at the cost of the intensive fluctuation of generator torque and significant increase of transient load on drive train shaft. Hence, in this paper, a nonlinear controller with variable parameter is proposed for improving MPPT efficiency and mitigating transient load on drive-train simultaneously. 7Effect of amlodipine combined with telmisartan or compound amiloride on plasma ET-1 concentration and left ventricular diastolic function of essential hypertension patients with left ventricular hypertrophy显示文摘Objective: To observe the effect of different combination antihypertensive therapies on plasma endothelin-1(ET-1) concentration and left ventricular diastolic function of essential hypertension patients with left ventricular hypertrophy(LVH). Methods: A total of 111 patients with essential hypertension were selected, including 60 cases(34 males, 26 females) aged(60.7±5.6) years with simple hypertension, and 51 cases(28 males, 23 females) aged(61.8±7.0) years with essential hypertension complicated with LVH. Essential hypertension patients with LVH were randomly divided into the group of amlodipine(2.5 mg/d) combined with telmisartan(40 mg/d, n=26) and the group of amlodipine(2.5 mg/d) combined with amiloride(half tablet/d, n=25),and the treatment lasted for 1 year. Echocardiography was performed before and after the treatment. Left ventricular mass index(LVMI), left ventricular isovolumic relaxation time(IVRT) and other indicators were detected, and plasma ET-1 concentrations were measured for comparative analysis. And 56 patients(31 males, 25 females) aged(59.3±6.7) years with normal blood pressure in the same period in our hospital were selected as the normal control group. Results: The general clinical characteristics were similar between hypertensive LVH group, simple hypertensive group and normal healthy control group. Plasma ET-1 concentrations, LVMI and IVRT of hypertensive LVH group were significantly higher than those of normal control group and simple hypertension group, and the difference was statistically significant. The patients' baseline blood pressure, ET-1, LVMI, interventricular septal thickness(IVST), left ventricular posterior wall thickness(LVPWT), left ventricular end-diastolic diameter(LVEDd) and other clinical parameters showed no significant difference(P>0.05) between the group of amlodipine combined with telmisartan and the group of amlodipine combined with amiloride. It was found that compared with that before treatment, blood pressure could be effectively controlled(P<0.05), and LVMI, IVST, LVPWT and IVRT(P<0.05) were all lowered, and ET-1(P<0.01) was significantly reduced after 1 year of antihypertensive therapy in both the group of amlodipine combined with telmisartan and the group of amlodipine combined with amiloride. The group of amlodipine combined with telmisartan was better in lowering blood pressure and reducing LVMI, IVST, LVPWT, IVRT and ET-1 than the group of amlodipine combined with amiloride(P<0.05). 8Seasonal differences in sources and formation processes of PM2.5 nitrate in an urban environment of North China显示文摘Nitrate(NO_(3)^(−))has been the dominant ion of secondary inorganic aerosols(SIAs)in PM_(2.5) in North China.Tracking the formation mechanisms and sources of particulate nitrate are vital to mitigate air pollution.In this study,PM_(2.5) samples in winter(January 2020)and in summer(June 2020)were collected in Jiaozuo,China,andwater-soluble ions and(δ_(15)N,δ_(18)O)-NO_(3)^(−)were analyzed.The results showed that the increase of NO_(3)^(−)concentrations was the most remarkable with increasing PM_(2.5) pollution level.δ_(18)O-NO_(3)^(−)values for winter samples(82.7‰ to 103.9‰)were close to calculated δ_(18)O-HNO_(3)(103‰±0.8‰)values by N_(2)O_(5) pathway,while δ_(18)O-NO_(3)^(−)values(67.8‰ to 85.7‰)for summer samples were close to calculated δ_(18)O-HNO_(3) values(61‰±0.8‰)by OH oxidation pathway,suggesting that PM_(2.5) nitrate is largely from N_(2)O_(5) pathway inwinter,while is largely from OH pathway in summer.Averaged fractional contributions of P_(N2O5+H2O) were 70% and 39% in winter and summer sampling periods,respectively,those of POH were 30% and 61%,respectively.Higher δ_(15)N-NO_(3)−values for winter samples(3.0‰to 14.4‰)than those for summer samples(-3.7‰to 8.6‰)might be due to more contributions from coal combustion in winter.Coal combustion(31%±9%,25%±9%in winter and summer,respectively)and biomass burning(30%±12%,36%±12%in winter and summer,respectively)were the main sources using Bayesian mixing model.These results provided clear evidence of particulate nitrate formation and sources under different PM_(2.5) levels,and aided in reducing atmospheric nitrate in urban environments.Yanli Li Yaping Geng Xiaomian Hu Xijie Yin 2022Journal of Environmental Sciences2022,34,10:2
9Young Yum pill inhibits inflammatory mediators and nuclear factor-kappa B signaling in lipopolysaccharide-stimulated RAW 264.7 macrophages显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effect of Young Yum pill (YYP) on inflammatory mediators in cultured RAW 264.7 cells and elucidate the nuclear factor- kappa B (NF-κB)-related mechanism behind the action. METHODS: YYP was extracted with 95% ethanol Lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-stimulated RAW 264.7 macrophages were used to evaluate the effect of YYP on inflammatory mediators. Production of nitric oxide (NO) and prostaglandin E2 (PGE2) were measured by Griess test and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, respectively. The levels of genes and proteins involved in the generation of inflammatory mediators were examined using real-time polymerase chain reaction and Western blotting, respectively. RESULTS: YYP dose-dependently suppressed LPS-induced production of NO, PGE2 and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α), and elevation of mRNA and protein levels of inducible NO synthase and cyclooxygenase- 2 in RAW 264.7 macrophages. These observations were associated with decreased NF-κB p65 phosphorylation and nuclear localization, enhanced Akt (protein kinase B) phosphorylation, as well as reduced inhibitor of κB (IκB)α degradation and IκB kinase α/β phosphorylation. 15Two new upper bounds of the solution for the continuous algebraic Riccati equation and their application显示文摘In this paper, for the solution of the continuous algebraic Riccati equation(CARE), we derived two new upper matrix bounds. Compared with the existing results, the newly obtained bounds are less conservative and more practical, which means that the condition for the existence of the upper bounds derived here is much weaker. The advantage of the results is shown by theoretical analysis and numerical examples. 20Increased expression of Notch1 in temporal lobe epilepsy: animal models and clinical evidence显示文摘Temporal lobe epilepsy is associated with astrogliosis.Notch1 signaling can induce astrogliosis in glioma.However,it remains unknown whether Notch1 signaling is involved in the pathogenesis of epilepsy.This study investigated the presence of Notch1,hairy and enhancer of split-1,and glial fibrillary acidic protein in the temporal neocortex and hippocampus of lithium-pilocarpine-treated rats.The presence of Notch1 and hairy and enhancer of split-1 was also explored in brain tissues of patients with intractable temporal lobe epilepsy.Quantitative electroencephalogram analysis and behavioral observations were used as auxiliary measures.Results revealed that the presence of Notch1,hairy and enhancer of split-1,and glial fibrillary acidic protein were enhanced in status epilepticus and vehicle-treated spontaneous recurrent seizures rats,but remain unchanged in the following groups:control,absence of either status epilepticus or spontaneous recurrent seizures,and zileuton-treated spontaneous recurrent seizures.Compared with patient control cases,the presences of Notch1 and hairy and enhancer of split-1 were upregulated in the temporal neocortex of patients with intractable temporal lobe epilepsy.Therefore,these results suggest that Notch1 signaling may play an important role in the onset of temporal lobe epilepsy via astrogliosis.Furthermore,zileuton may be a potential therapeutic strategy for temporal lobe epilepsy by blocking Notch1 signaling.Xijin Liu Zhiyong Yang Yaping Yin Xuejun Deng 2014Neural Regeneration Research2014,9,5:1
