| 1 | Interaction of polyhydroxy fullerenes with ferrihydrite:adsorption and aggregation显示文摘The rapid development of nanoscience and nanotechnology, with thousands types of nanomaterials being produced, will lead to various environmental impacts. Thus,understanding the behaviors and fate of these nanomaterials is essential. This study focused on the interaction between polyhydroxy fullerenes(PHF) and ferrihydrite(Fh), a widespread iron(oxyhydr)oxide nanomineral and geosorbent. Our results showed that PHF were effectively adsorbed by Fh. The adsorption isotherm fitted the D-R model well, with an adsorption capacity of 67.1 mg/g. The adsorption mean free energy of 10.72 k J/mol suggested that PHF were chemisorbed on Fh. An increase in the solution p H and a decrease of the Fh surface zeta potential were observed after the adsorption of PHF on Fh; moreover, increasing initial solution p H led to a reduction of adsorption. The Fourier transform infrared spectra detected a red shift of C–O stretching from 1075 to 1062 cm-1 and a decrease of Fe–O bending, implying the interaction between PHF oxygenic functional groups and Fh surface hydroxyls. On the other hand, PHF affected the aggregation and reactivity of Fh by changing its surface physicochemical properties. Aggregation of PHF and Fh with individual particle sizes increasing from 2 nm to larger than 5 nm was measured by atomic force microscopy. The uniform distribution of C and Fe suggested that the aggregates of Fh were possibly bridged by PHF. | 2 | System-Level EMC Assessment for Military Vehicular Communication Systems Based on a Modified Four-Level Assessment Model显示文摘With the development of EMC technology, EMC assessment has become increasingly important in EMC design. Although numerous EMC assessment models are available today, few of them can provide a tradeoff between efficiency and accuracy for the specific case of military vehicular communication systems. Face to this situation, a modified four-level assessment model is proposed in the paper. First, the development of EMC assessment technology is briefly reviewed, and the theoretical mechanism of EMI environment is introduced. Then, the architecture of the proposed model is outlined, and the assessment methods are explored. To demonstrate the application of it, an example involving a communication system in a military vehicle is presented. From the physical layer to the signal layer, a hierarchical assessment on the entire system is successfully performed based on the proposed model, and we can make a qualitative EMC assessment on the EMC performance of the system. Based on a comparison with the traditional model, we conclude that the proposed model is more accurate, more efficient and less time-consuming, which is suitable for the EMC assessment on militaryvehicular communication systems. | 3 | TiO_2/Schwertmannite nanocomposites as superior co-catalysts in heterogeneous photo-Fenton process显示文摘The heterogeneous photo-Fenton reaction is an effective technique in combating organic contaminants for both soil and water remediation,and extensive studies have focused on enhancing its efficiency and reducing its costs.In this work,we developed novel photoFenton catalysts by simply milling commercially available TiO_2(P25)with Schwertmannite(Sh),a natural iron-oxyhydroxysulfate nanomineral.We expect that the photo-generated electrons from TiO_2could continuously migrate to Sh,which then could enhance the separation of electron-hole pairs on TiO_2and accelerate the reduction of Fe(III)to Fe(II)on Sh,leading to high degradation efficiency of the target organic contaminants.SEM and TEM results showed the distribution of TiO_2on Sh surface for the nanocomposites(TiO_2/Sh).Under simulated sunlight irradiation,the much higher content of Fe(II)was determined on TiO_2/Sh than on Sh via a common method in the iron ore,and the consumption of H_2O_2and the production of·OH were more significant in the TiO_2/Sh system than those in the TiO_2and Sh systems.These results well support our hypothesis that the photo-generated electrons could migrate from TiO_2to Sh on the composites,and can also explain the much higher degradation efficiency of Rhodamine B(RhB)in the TiO_2/Sh system.Besides,TiO_2/Sh had lower Fe dissolution as compared with Sh,and retained high catalytic stability after four repeated cycles.Above merits of the TiO_2/Sh composites,in combining with their simple synthesis method and low-cost property,indicated that they should have promising applications as heterogeneous photo-Fenton catalysts. | Yanping Zhu Chun Zeng Runliang Zhu Yin Xu Xingyan Wang Huijun Zhou Jianxi Zhu Hongping He | 2019 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2019,31,6: | 5 |
| 4 | Simulation analysis on co-site interference of vehicular digital communication system based on IM prediction method by BER显示文摘The co-site interference exists in kinds of communication systems, especially in digital communication systems, also is one of the biggest threats in electromagnetic compatibility(EMC) designation of the systems. Analyzing the co-site interference is an important process in achieving EMC performance of the system. Under the situation, the co-site interference simulation analysis of a vehicular digital communication system based on interference margin(IM) prediction method by bit error ratio(BER) was proposed in the paper. In the simulation analysis, some physical models of the vehicular communication system were established on SIMULINK environment, the upper limit of BER level for audio signals was defined as the IM, three different types of co-site interference was analyzed respectively, and the simulation results were obtained in the form of system interference bandwidth. From these results, the EMC performance evaluation of the vehicular communication system was predicted based on the IM prediction method. | 10 | Numerical simulation and experiment validation on lightning-induced effects of a special vehicle显示文摘In recent years, with the development of the system integration technology, the outside integrative special vehicles, such as big oil tank, trucks loading with dangerous goods and so on, are becoming more and more important. When the vehicle is under way, it will inevitably encounter the nature environment, including lightning. If the lightning strikes directly or very close to the vehicle, the lightning-induced effects will be very destructive. Therefore, for a better understanding of the lightning-induced effects produced on the special vehicle by the lightning strike, the research on lightning-induced effects of a special vehicle for aerospace system transportation was proposed. In the paper, a numerical simulation model for the special vehicle is established, the lightning-induced effects are analyzed successfully by using tramsmission-line matrix(TLM) algorithm, and the experiment validation example is also implemented. | 11 | trans-2-Enoyl-CoA Reductase Tecr-Driven Lipid Metabolism in Endothelial Cells Protects against Transcytosis to Maintain Blood-Brain Barrier Homeostasis显示文摘The transport and metabolism of lipids in cerebrovascular endothelial cells(ECs)have been hypothesized to regulate blood-brain barrier(BBB)maturation and homeostasis.Long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids(LCPUFAs)as the important lipids components of cell membranes are essential for the development and function of BBB,but the direct links of lipid metabolism and ECs barrier function remain to be established.Here,we comprehensively characterize the transcriptomic phenotype of developmental cerebrovascular ECs in single-cell resolution and firstly find that trans-2-enoyl-CoA reductase(Tecr),a verylong-chain fatty acid synthesis,is highly expressed during barriergenesis and decreased after BBB maturation.EC-specific knockout of Tecr compromises angiogenesis due to delayed vascular sprouting.Importantly,EC-specific deletion of Tecr loss restrictive quality of vascular permeability from neonatal stages to adulthood,with high levels of transcytosis,but maintains the vascular tight junctions.Moreover,lipidomic analysis shows that the expression of Tecr in ECs is associated with the containing of omega-3 fatty acids,which directly suppresses caveolae vesicles formation.These results reveal a protective role for Tecr in BBB integrity and suggest that Tecr as a novel therapeutic target in the central nervous system(CNS)diseases associated with BBB dysfunction. | Jinxuan Wang Jianxiong Xu Guangchao Zang Tao Zhang Qi Wu Hongping Zhang Yidan Chen Yi Wang Weixi Qin Shuang Zhao Erdai Qin Juhui Qiu Xiaojuan Zhang Lin Wen Yeqi Wang Guixue Wang | 2022 | Research2022,,3: | 1 |
