1Outline of Uranium Resources Characteristics and Metallogenetic Regularity in China显示文摘Uranium,as one of twenty-six kinds of important minerals in China,is strategic resource and energy mineral,which has been thoroughly investigated in the project of National Potential Evaluation of Uranium Resource.During the implementation of this project,the authors summarized the metallogenic regularity of uranium resource in China systematically,through the researches of geological characteristics of uranium resource,uranium deposits type(genetic and prediction type),temporal and spatial distribution,and metallogenic series.Based on the investigation of present situation and progress in uranium exploration,this paper proposes the uranium deposits in China should be divided into 4 classes,9 types,21 subtypes in genetic,and 50 types in prediction;suggests to divide China into 29 uranium metallogenic belts and 20 uranium prospective area,and constructs 20uranium-polymetallic metallogenic series,through summarizing temporal and spatial distribution characteristics and metallogenic regularity of uranium deposits in China.The above research is beneficial to the comprehensive understanding of regional uranium metallogenic regularity,and will direct the uranium exploration in the future.CAI Yuqi ZHANG Jindai LI Ziying GUO Qingyin SONG Jiye FAN Honghai LIU Wusheng QI Fucheng ZHANG Minglin 2015Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2015,89,3:11
2Seasonal variations of stable isotope in precipitation and moisture transport at Yushu,eastern Tibetan Plateau显示文摘Precipitation δ 18O at Yushu, eastern Tibetan Plateau, shows strong fluctuation and lack of clear seasonality. The seasonal pattern of precipitation stable isotope at Yushu is apparently different from either that of the southwest monsoon region to the south or that of the inland region to the north. This different seasonal pattern probably reflects the shift of different moisture sources. In this paper, we present the spatial comparison of the seasonal patterns of precipitation δ 18O, and calculate the moisture transport flux by using the NCAR/NCEP reanalysis data. This allows us to discuss the relation between moisture transport flux and precipitation δ 18O. This study shows that both the southwest monsoon from south and inland air mass transport from north affected the seasonal precipitation δ 18O at Yushu, eastern Tibetan Plateau. Southwest monsoon brings the main part of the moisture, but southwest transport flux is weaker than in the southern part of the Tibetan Plateau. However, contribution of the inland moisture from north or local evaporation moisture is enhanced. 4Co-pyrolysis of bituminous coal and biomass in a pressured fluidized bed显示文摘An experimental study on co-pyrolysis of bituminous coal and biomass was performed in a pressured fluidized bed reactor.The blend ratio of biomass in the mixture was varied between 0 and 100 wt%,and the temperature was over a range of 550–650℃ under 1.0 MPa pressure with different atmospheres.On the basis of the individual pyrolysis behavior of bituminous coal and biomass,the influences of the biomass blending ratio,temperature,pressure and atmosphere on the product distribution were investigated.The results indicated that there existed a synergetic effect in the co-pyrolysis of bituminous coal and biomass in this pressured fluidized bed reactor,especially when the condition of bituminous coal and biomass blend ratio of 70:30(w/w),600℃,and 0.3 MPa was applied.The addition of biomass influenced the tar and char yields and gas and tar composition during co-pyrolysis.The tar yields were higher than the calculated values from individual pyrolysis of each fuel,and consequently the char yields were lower.The experimental results showed that the composition of the gaseous products was not in accordance with those of their individual fuel.The improvement of composition in tar also indicated synergistic effect in the co-pyrolysis.Yong Huang Ningbo Wang Qiaoxia Liu Wusheng Wang Xiaoxun Ma 2019Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2019,27,7:7
5Molecular architecture of the luminal ring of the Xenopus laevis nuclear pore complex显示文摘The nuclear pore complex(NPC)mediates the flow of substances between the nucleus and cytoplasm in eukaryotic cells.Here we report the cryo-electron tomography(cryo-ET)structure of the luminal ring(LR)of the NPC from Xenopus laevis oocyte.The observed key structural features of the LR are independently confirmed by single-particle cryo-electron microscopy(cryo-EM)analysis.The LR comprises eight butterfly-shaped subunits,each containing two symmetric wings.Each wing consists of four elongated,tubular protomers.Within the LR subunit,the eight protomers form a Finger domain,which directly contacts the fusion between the inner and outer nuclear membranes and a Grid domain,which serves as a rigid base for the Finger domain.Two neighboring LR subunits interact with each other through the lateral edges of their wings to constitute a Bumper domain,which displays two major conformations and appears to cushion neighboring NPCs.Our study reveals previously unknown features of the LR and potentially explains the elastic property of the NPC.Yanqing Zhang Sai Li Chao Zeng Gaoxingyu Huang Xuechen Zhu Qifan Wang Kunpeng Wang Qiang Zhou Chuangye Yan Wusheng Zhang Guangwen Yang Minhao Liu Qinghua Tao Jianlin Lei Yigong Shi 2020Cell Research2020,30,6:4
6Structure evolution of Y_2O_3 nanoparticle/Fe composite during mechanical milling and annealing显示文摘Fe-25 wt% Y2O3composite powders have been fabricated by mechanical milling(MM) Fe powders of 100 μm in diameter and Y2O3nanoparticles in an argon atmosphere for the milling periods of4,8,12,24,36,and 48 h,respectively.The features of these powders were characterized by using X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),electron probe micro analyzer(EPMA) and transmission electron microscopy(TEM).The experimental results showed that the mean particle size and crystalline size of MM powders decreased with the milling time increasing.All the elements distributed homogenously inside the powders after 48 h of MM.The lattice constant of the matrix α-Fe kept constant with the milling time,and no solid solution took place during MM process.After 8 h of MM,the α-Fe in each powder became nanocrystalline.After 48 h of MM,Y2O3changes from nanostructure into amorphous structure,and the crystalline size of α-Fe further decreased to 10 nm.The Y2O3in the powders mechanically milled for 48 h kept the amorphous structure after being annealed at 400 1C,and starts to crystallize when the powders are annealed at 600 1C.The amorphous Y2O3contains a small amount of Fe,and crystalline FeYO3appears at 800 1C.Tong Liu Hailong Shen Chenxi Wang Wusheng Chou 2013Progress in Natural Science:Materials International2013,23,4:2
7An optimized protocol for stepwise optimization of real-time RT-PCR analysis显示文摘Computational tool-assisted primer design for real-time reverse transcription(RT)PCR(qPCR)analysis largely ignores the sequence similarities between sequences of homologous genes in a plant genome.It can lead to false confidence in the quality of the designed primers,which sometimes results in skipping the optimization steps for qPCR.However,the optimization of qPCR parameters plays an essential role in the efficiency,specificity,and sensitivity of each gene’s primers.Here,we proposed an optimized approach to sequentially optimizing primer sequences,annealing temperatures,primer concentrations,and cDNA concentration range for each reference(and target)gene.Our approach started with a sequence-specific primer design that should be based on the single-nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs)present in all the homologous sequences for each of the reference(and target)genes under study.By combining the efficiency calibrated and standard curve methods with the 2−ΔΔCt method,the standard cDNA concentration curve with a logarithmic scale was obtained for each primer pair for each gene.As a result,an R 2≥0.9999 and the efficiency(E)=100±5% should be achieved for the best primer pair of each gene,which serve as the prerequisite for using the 2^(−ΔΔCt) method for data analysis.We applied our newly developed approach to identify the best reference genes in different tissues and at various inflorescence developmental stages of Tripidium ravennae,an ornamental and biomass grass,and validated their utility under varying abiotic stress conditions.We also applied this approach to test the expression stability of six reference genes in soybean under biotic stress treatment with Xanthomonas axonopodis pv.glycines(Xag).Thus,these case studies demonstrated the effectiveness of our optimized protocol for qPCR analysis.Fangzhou Zhao Nathan A.Maren Pawel Z.Kosentka Ying-Yu Liao Hongyan Lu James R.Duduit Debao Huang Hamid Ashrafi Tuanjie Zhao Alejandra I.Huerta Thomas G.Ranney Wusheng Liu 2021Horticulture Research2021,8,1:2
8Differential SW16.1 allelic effects and genetic backgrounds contributed to increased seed weight after soybean domestication显示文摘Although seed weight has increased following domestication from wild soybean(Glycine soja) to cultivated soybean(Glycine max), the genetic basis underlying this change is unclear. Using mapping populations derived from chromosome segment substitution lines of wild soybean, we identified SW16.1 as the causative gene underlying a major quantitative trait locus controlling seed weight.SW16.1 encodes a nucleus-localized LIM domaincontaining protein. Importantly, the GsSW16.1 allele from wild soybean accession N24852 had a negative effect on seed weight, whereas the GmSW16.1 allele from cultivar NN1138-2 had a positive effect. Gene expression network analysis,reverse-transcription quantitative polymerase chain reaction, and promoter-luciferase reporter transient expression assays suggested that SW16.1 regulates the transcription of MT4, a positive regulator of seed weight. The natural variations in SW16.1 and other known seed weight genes were analyzed in soybean germplasm. The SW16.1 polymorphism was associated with seed weight in 247 soybean accessions, showing much higher frequency of positive-effect alleles in cultivated soybean than in wild soybean. Interestingly,gene allele matrix analysis of the known seed weight genes revealed that G. max has lost 38.5%of the G. soja alleles and that most of the lost alleles had negative effects on seed weight. 15The genomic and bulked segregant analysis of Curcuma alismatifolia revealed its diverse bract pigmentation显示文摘Compared with most flowers where the showy part comprises specialized leaves(petals)directly subtending the reproductive structures,most Zingiberaceae species produce showy“flowers”through modifications of leaves(bracts)subtending the true flowers throughout an inflorescence.Curcuma alismatifolia,belonging to the Zingiberaceae family,a plant species originating from Southeast Asia,has become increasingly popular in the flower market worldwide because of its varied and esthetically pleasing bracts produced in different cultivars.Here,we present the chromosome-scale genome assembly of C.alismatifolia“Chiang Mai Pink”and explore the underlying mechanisms of bract pigmentation.Comparative genomic analysis revealed C.alismatifolia contains a residual signal of whole-genome duplication.Duplicated genes,including pigment-related genes,exhibit functional and structural differentiation resulting in diverse bract colors among C.alismatifolia cultivars.In addition,we identified the key genes that produce different colored bracts in C.alismatifolia,such as F3′5'H,DFR,ANS and several transcription factors for anthocyanin synthesis,as well as chlH and CAO in the chlorophyll synthesis pathway by conducting transcriptomic analysis,bulked segregant analysis using both DNA and RNA data,and population genomic analysis.This work provides data for understanding the mechanism of bract pigmentation and will accelerate breeding in developing novel cultivars with richly colored bracts in C.alismatifolia and related species.It is also important to understand the variation in the evolution of the Zingiberaceae family.Xuezhu Liao Yuanjun Ye Xiaoni Zhang Dan Peng Mengmeng Hou Gaofei Fu Jianjun Tan Jianli Zhao Rihong Jiang Yechun Xu Jinmei Liu Jinliang Yang Wusheng Liu Luke RTembrock Genfa Zhu Zhiqiang Wu 2022aBIOTECH2022,3,3:1
