| 1 | Analysis of status and countermeasures of cancer incidence and mortality in China显示文摘Cancer is the leading cause of human deaths in the world and produces serious economic burdens. On September 12, 2018, the academic journal A Cancer Journal for Clinicians published an article about the latest statistics of cancers worldwide, which provided a status report on the global burden of 36 cancers in 185 countries worldwide. Cancer has also become a serious public health problem in China and caused more and more attention of the government and people in recent years. | 2 | Mapping wetland changes in China between 1978 and 2008显示文摘Four wetland maps for all China have been produced,based on Landsat and CBERS-02B remote sensing data between 1978 and 2008 (1978,1990,2000 and 2008).These maps were mainly developed by manual interpretation and validated by substantial field investigation in 2009.Based on these maps,we analyzed the 2008 wetland distribution in China and discussed wetland changes and their drivers over the past 30 years.(i) There were about 324097 km 2 of wetlands in 2008,for which inland marshes or swamps were the most common wetland type (35%),with lakes (26%) second.Most of the wetlands were in Heilongjiang,Inner Mongolia,Qinghai and Tibet,occupying about 55% of the national wetland area.(ii) From 1978 to 2008,China's wetland area continually and significantly decreased,by about 33% based on changes in the wetland map.This was in sharp contrast to the increase in artificial wetlands,which increased by about 122%.Inland marshes accounted for the main loss of total wetlands from 1978 to 2000.From 2000 through 2008,riverine and lacustrine wetlands constituted the main wetland loss.Fortunately however,the rate of wetland loss decreased from 5523 to 831 km 2 /a.(iii) The change ratio of lost natural wetlands (including inland and coastal wetlands) to non-wetlands has decreased slightly over the past 30 years.From 1978 to 1990,nearly all natural wetlands (98%) lost were transformed into non-wetlands.However,the ratio declined to 86% from 1990 to 2000,and to 77% from 2000 to 2008.(iv) All Chinese provinces were divided into three groups according to patterns of wetland changes,which could relate to the driving forces of such changes.Tibet was completely different from other provinces,as it was one representative example in which there was a net wetland increase,because of global warming and decreased human activity since 1990.Increased economic development caused considerable wetland loss in most eastern provinces,and artificial wetlands increased. | NIU ZhenGuo ZHANG HaiYing WANG XianWei YAO WenBo ZHOU DeMin ZHAO KuiYi ZHAO Hui LI NaNa HUANG HuaBing LI CongCong YANG Jun LIU CaiXia LIU Shuang WANG Lin LI Zhan YANG ZhenZhong QIAO Fei ZHENG YaoMin CHEN YanLei SHENG YongWei GAO XiaoHong ZHU WeiHong WANG WenQing WANG Hong WENG YongLing ZHUANG DaFang LIU JiYuan LUO ZhiCai CHENG Xiao GUO ZiQi GONG Peng | 2012 | Chinese Science Bulletin2012,57,22: | 51 |
| 3 | Preparation and evaluation of α-Al2O3 supported lithium ion sieve membranes for Li^+ extraction显示文摘Spinel lithium manganese oxide ion-sieves have been considered the most promising adsorbents to extract Li^+ from brines and sea water.Here,we report a lithium ion-sieve which was successfully loaded onto tubular α-Al2 O3 ceramic substrates by dipping crystallization and post-calcination method.The lithium manganese oxide Li4 Mn5 O(12)was first synthesized onto tubular α-Al2 O3 ceramic substrates as the ion-sieve precursor(i.e.L-AA),and the corresponding lithium ion-sieve(i.e.H-AA) was obtained after acid pickling.The chemical and morphological properties of the ion-sieve were confirmed by X-ray diffraction(XRD) and scanning electron microscopy(SEM).Both L-AA and H-AA showed characteristic peaks of α-Al2 O3 and cubic phase Li4 Mn5 O(12) and the peaks representing cubic phase could still exist after pickling.The lithium manganese oxide Li4 Mn5 O(12) could be uniformly loaded not only on the surface of α-Al2 O3 ubstrates but also inside the pores.Moreover,we found that the equilibrium adsorption capacity of H-AA was 22.9 mg·g^-1.After 12 h adsorption,the adsorption balance was reached.After 5 cycles of adsorption,the adsorption capacity of H-AA was 60.88% of the initial adsorption capacity.The process of H-AA adsorption for Li^+correlated with pseudo-second order kinetic model and Langmuir model.Adsorption thermodynamic parameters regarding enthalpy(△N), Gibbs free energy(△G) and entropy(AS) were calculated.For the dynamic adsorptiondesorption process of H-AA,the H-AA exhibited excellent adsorption performance to Li^+ with the Li^+ dynamic adsorption capacity of 9.74 mg·g^-1 and the Mn^2+dissolution loss rate of 0.99%.After 3 dynamic adsorption-desorption cycles,80% of the initial dynamic adsorption capacity was still kept. | Feng Xue Xiaoxian Zhang Yue Niu Chenhao Yi Shengui Ju Weihong Xing | 2020 | Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2020,28,9: | 6 |
| 4 | Application of TruScreen in detecting ASCUS patients显示文摘Objective:To explore the application of cervical cancer screening system,TruScreen in detecting atypical squamous cell of undetermined significance(ASCIIS) patients.Methods:A total of 42 cases were selected,who were diagnosed as ASCIIS by thinprep cytologic test(TCT).Area from site 15 to 20,site 21 to 32 were detected by TruScreen.And the result was compared with those of cases which had positive pathological result of cervical biopsy.Results:There were 16 cases with abnormal pathological result in ASCUS cases,including 6 cases with cervical intraepithelial neoplasia(CIN)Ⅰ,6 cases with CINⅡ,3 cases with CINⅢand 1 case with infiltrating carcinoma. The consistency between TCT and pathological test was 38.10%(16/42).The positive rate of TruScreen at site 15-20 was 61.91%(26/42).There was significant difference in consistency with pathological test between TCT and TruScreen(x^2=4.762,P=0.029).The positive rate of TruScreen at site 21-32 was 66.67%(28/42)(Kappa=0.181,P=0.016).There was significant difference in consistency with pathological test between TCT and TruScreen(x^2=9.4919,P=0.002).And no case was missed when site 21-32 of patients with CINⅡand above were detected by TruScreen. In this study, photo-driven mesoporous silica nanospheres loaded with sandela 803 was designed, prepared and named as S803@MS-S. S803@MS-S possessed ordered mesoporous, large specific surface area and pore volume. After adsorption of sandela 803, the S803@MSS was added into wallpaper to prepare fragrant wallpaper S803@MS-S-W. | 7 | BRD7 plays an anti-inflammatory role during early acute inflammation by inhibiting activation of the NF-кB signaling pathway显示文摘Increasing evidence has shown a strong association between tumor-suppressor genes and inflammation.However,the role of BRD7 as a novel tumor suppressor in inflammation remains unknown.In this study,by observing BRD7 knockout mice for 6–12 months,we discovered that compared with BRD7+/+mice,BRD7^(−/−)mice were more prone to inflammation,such as external inflammation and abdominal abscess.By using mouse embryo fibroblast(MEF)cells from the BRD7 knockout mouse,an in vitro lipopolysaccharide(LPS)-stimulated MEF cell line was established.The mRNA levels of interleukin-6(IL-6),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),chemokine(C-X-C motif)ligand 1(CXCL-1)and inducible nitric oxide synthase(iNOS)were significantly increased in BRD7^(−/−)MEF cells compared with BRD7+/+MEF cells after LPS stimulation for 1 or 6 h.In addition,the cytoplasm-to-nucleus translocation of nuclear factor kappa-B(NF-κB;p65)and an increased NF-κB reporter activity were observed in BRD7^(−/−)MEF cells at the 1 h time point but not at the 6 h time point.Furthermore,an in vivo dextran sodium sulfate(DSS)-induced acute colitis model was created.As expected,the disease activity index(DAI)value was significantly increased in the BRD7^(−/−)mice after DSS treatment for 1–5 days,which was demonstrated by the presence of a significantly shorter colon,splenomegaly and tissue damage.Moreover,higher expression levels of IL-6,TNF-α,p65,CXCL-1 and iNOS,and an increased level of NF-κB(p65)nuclear translocation were also found in the DSS-treated BRD7^(−/−)mice.These findings suggest that BRD7 has an anti-inflammatory role during early acute inflammation by inhibiting activation of the NF-кB signaling pathway,which provides evidence to aid in understanding the therapeutic effects of BRD7 on inflammatory diseases. | Ran Zhao Yukun Liu Heran Wang Jing Yang Weihong Niu Songqing Fan Wei Xiong Jian Ma Xiaoling Li Joshua B Phillips Ming Tan Yuanzheng Qiu Guiyuan Li Ming Zhou | 2017 | Cellular & Molecular Immunology2017,14,10: | 0 |
| 8 | Thermal-annealing-regulated plasmonic enhanced fluorescence platform enables accurate detection of antigen/antibody against infectious diseases显示文摘Plasmonic enhanced fluorescence(PEF)technology is a powerful strategy to improve the sensitivity of immunofluorescence microarrays(IFMA),however,current approaches to constructing PEF platforms are either expensive/time-consuming or reliant on specialized instruments.Here,we develop a completely alternative approach relying on a two-step protocol that includes the self-assembly of gold nanoparticles(GNPs)at the water–oil interface and subsequent annealing-assisted regulation of gold nanogap.Our optimized thermal-annealing GNPs(TA-GNP)platform generates adequate hot spots,and thus produces high-density electromagnetic coupling,eventually enabling 240-fold fluorescence enhancement of probed dyes in the near-infrared region.For clinical detection of human samples,TA-GNP provides super-high sensitivity and low detection limits for both hepatitis B surface antigen and SARS-CoV-2 binding antibody,coupled with a much-improved detection dynamic range up to six orders of magnitude.With fast detection,high sensitivity,and low detection limit,TA-GNP could not only substantially improve the outcomes of IFMA-based precision medicine but also find applications in fields of proteomic research and clinical pathology. | Ying Yue Jingjie Nan Yuanyuan Che Hongqin Xu Weihong Sun Feiran Zhang Lei Wang Wei Xu Junqi Niu Shoujun Zhu Junhu Zhang Bai Yang | 2023 | Nano Research2023,16,2: | 0 |
