Molecular evolution and functional divergence of HAK potassium transporter gene family in rice(Oryza sativa L.)显示文摘The high-affinity K+(HAK) transporter gene family is the largest family in plant that functions as potassium transporter and is impor-tant for various aspects of plant life.In the present study,we identified 27 members of this family in rice genome. The phylogenetic tree divided the land plant HAK transporter proteins into 6 distinct groups.Although the main characteristic of this family was established before the origin of seed plants, they also showed some differences between the members of non-seed and seed plants. The HAK genes in rice were found to have expanded in lineage-specific manner after the split of monocots and dicots, and both segmental duplication events and tandem duplication events contributed to the expansion of this family.Functional divergence analysis for this family provided statis-tical evidence for shifted evolutionary rate after gene duplication.Further analysis indicated that both point mutant with positive selection and gene conversion events contributed to the evolution of this family in rice. | Zefeng Yang Qingsong Gao Changsen Sun Wenjuan Li Shiliang Gu Chenwu Xu | 2009 | Journal of Genetics and Genomics2009,36,3: | 21
Protonation induced high-T_c phases in iron-based superconductors evidenced by NMR and magnetization measurements显示文摘Chemical substitution during growth is a well-established method to manipulate electronic states of quantum materials, and leads to rich spectra of phase diagrams in cuprate and iron-based superconductors. Here we report a novel and generic strategy to achieve nonvolatile electron doping in series of(i.e.11 and 122 structures) Fe-based superconductors by ionic liquid gating induced protonation at room temperature. Accumulation of protons in bulk compounds induces superconductivity in the parent compounds, and enhances the Tclargely in some superconducting ones. Furthermore, the existence of proton in the lattice enables the first proton nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR) study to probe directly superconductivity. Using Fe S as a model system, our NMR study reveals an emergent high-Tcphase with no coherence peak which is hard to measure by NMR with other isotopes. This novel electric-fieldinduced proton evolution opens up an avenue for manipulation of competing electronic states(e.g.Mott insulators), and may provide an innovative way for a broad perspective of NMR measurements with greatly enhanced detecting resolution. | Yi Cui Gehui Zhang Haobo Li Hai Lin Xiyu Zhu Hai-Hu Wen Guoqing Wang Jinzhao Sun Mingwei Ma Yuan Li Dongliang Gong Tao Xie Yanhong Gu Shiliang Lie Huiqian Luo Pu Yu Weiqiang Yu | 2018 | Science Bulletin2018,63,1: | 7
High-performance flexible perovskite photodetectors based on single-crystal-like two-dimensional Ruddlesden-Popper thin films显示文摘Two-dimensional Ruddlesden-Popper(2DRP)perovskites have attracted intense research interest for optoelectronic applications, due to their tunable optoelectronic properties and better environmental stability than their threedimensional counterparts.Furthermore,high-performance photodetectors based on single-crystal and polycrystalline thin-films 2DRP perovskites have shown great potential for practical application. However, the complex growth process of single-crystal membranes and uncontrollable phase distribution of polycrystalline films hinder the further development of 2DRP perovskites photodetectors.Herein,we report a series of high-performance photodetectors based on single-crystal-like phase-pure 2DRP perovskite films by designing a novel spacer source.Experimental and theoretical evidence demonstrates that phase-pure films substantially suppress defect states and ion migration. These highly sensitive photodetectors show I_(light)/I_(dark) ratio exceeding 3×10^(4),responsivities exceeding 16 A/W,and detectivities exceeding 3×10^(13) Jones, which are higher at least by 1 order than those of traditional mixed-phase thinfilms 2DRP devices(close to the reported single-crystal devices).More importantly, this strategy can significantly enhance the operational stability of optoelectronic devices and pave the way to large-area flexible productions. | Chao Liang Hao Gu Junmin Xia Tanghao Liu Shiliang Mei Nan Zhang Yonghua Chen Guichuan Xing | 2023 | Carbon Energy2023,5,2: | 4

A combination of leaf rust resistance gene Lr34 and lesion mimic gene lm significantly enhances adult plant resistance to Puccinia triticina in wheat显示文摘Leaf rust caused by Puccinia triticina is an economically-important disease in wheat worldwide.A combination of different types of resistance genes may significantly enhance rust resistance under rust-favorable conditions. To investigate the interactions between the rust resistance gene Lr34 and the lesion mimic gene lm on 1BL in Ning 7840,a segregating F8-10 population of 180 recombinant inbred lines was developed from Ning 7840/Chokwang and evaluated for both lesion mimic expression and leaf rust response at the adult plant stage in a greenhouse.A major quantitative trait locus(QTL),derived from Sumai 3,was co-localized with Lr34 on chromosome 7D and explained 41.5% of phenotypic variations for rust severity and 22.1% for leaf tip necrosis(LTN).The presence of Lr34 was confirmed by Lr34-specific markers cssfr1 and cssfr2 in Ning 7840 and Sumai 3.Unlike Lr34,lm conditioned a spontaneous lesion mimic phenotype and had a significant effect on reducing uredinial size, and a smaller effect on severity.Additive effects were observed between lm and Lr34 for severity and LTN,and an epistatic effect was observed for infection type.Single marker analysis also identified several other QTL with minor effects on severity, infection type,or LTN. | LI Tao BAI GuiHua GU ShiLiang | 2012 | Chinese Science Bulletin2012,57,17: | 1

Estimation of genome length显示文摘The genome length is a fundamental feature of a species. This note outlined the general concept and estimation method of the physical and genetic length. Some formulae for estimating the genetic length were derived in detail. As examples, the genome genetic length of Pinus pinaster Ait. and the genetic length of chromosome VI of Oryza sativa L. were estimated from partial linkage data. | Huidong Mo Shiliang Gu | 2001 | Chinese Science Bulletin2001,46,2: | 0
Overcoming the Limitation of Cs_(2)AgBiBr_(6) Double Perovskite Solar Cells Through Using Mesoporous TiO_(2) Electron Extraction Layer显示文摘Lead-free double perovskite Cs_(2)AgBiBr_(6) has gained increasing attention recently. However, the power conversion efficiency(PCE)of Cs_(2)AgBiBr_(6) perovskite solar cells(PSCs)is still low compared with their lead-based counterparts. Here,by using photoluminescence(PL),time-resolved photoluminescence(TRPL),and ultrafast transient absorption(TA)measurements, the unbalance between the electron and hole in diffusion and transfer, which limits the performance of the Cs_(2)AgBiBr_(6) PSCs,was further revealed.Considering this issue,a strategy of using the mesoporous TiO_(2) electron transport layer(ETL)to construct a bulk heterojunction in Cs_(2)AgBiBr_(6) PSCs was proposed.Consequently, the PCE had improved by over 24%comparing with that only used compact TiO_(2) ETL.Moreover, based on mesoporous TiO_(2),the unencapsulated Cs_(2)AgBiBr_(6) PSCs maintained 90%of their initial performance after approximately 1200 h of storage in a desiccator(humidity~30%).This work gives further understanding of Cs_(2)AgBiBr_(6) perovskite and demonstrates that a proper design of balancing the electron and hole diffusion can improve device performance. | Dandan Zhao Chao Liang Bingzhe Wang Tanghao Liu Qi Wei Kaiyang Wang Hao Gu Sisi Wang Shiliang Mei Guichuan Xing | 2022 | Energy & Environmental Materials2022,5,4: | 0
Surface Passivation Toward Efficient and Stable Perovskite Solar Cells显示文摘Although metal halide perovskites are increasingly popular for the next generation of efficient photovoltaic devices, the inevitable defects from the preparation process have become the notorious barrier to further improvement of performance, which increases non-radiative recombination and lowers the power conversion efficiency of solar cells.Surface passivation strategies have been affirmed as one of the most practical approaches to suppress these defects. Therefore,it is necessary to have a detailed review on the surface passivation to reveal the improvements of the devices.Herein, the mechanism and recent advances of surface passivation have been systematically summarized with respect to various passivation approaches, including the Lewis acid–base, the low-dimensional perovskite, inorganic molecules, and polymers. Finally, the review also offers the research trend and prospects of surface passivation. | Junmin Xia Chao Liang Hao Gu Shiliang Mei Shengwen Li Nan Zhang Shi Chen Yongqing Cai Guichuan Xing | 2023 | Energy & Environmental Materials2023,6,1: | 0
