2Temporal and spatial variations of the active layer along the Qinghai-Tibet Highway in a permafrost region显示文摘Using monitored active layer thickness(ALT) and environmental variables of 10 observation fields along the Qinghai-Tibet Highway in permafrost region of the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau(QTP),a model for ALT estimation was developed. The temporal and spatial characteristics of the ALT were also analyzed. The results showed that in the past 30 years ALT in the study region increased at a rate of 1.33 cm a-1.Temperatures at the upper limit of permafrost and at 50 cm depth, along with soil cumulative temperature at 5 cm depth also exhibited a rising trend.Soil heat flux increased at a rate of 0.1 Wm-2 a-1.All the above changes demonstrated that the degradation of permafrost happened in the study region on the QTP.The initial thawing date of active layer was advanced, while the initial freezing date was delayed. The number of thawing days increased to a rate of 1.18 da-1.The variations of active layer were closely related to the permafrost type, altitude, underlying surface type and soil composition. The variations were more evident in cold permafrost region than in warm permafrost region,in high-altitude region than in low-altitude region,in alpine meadow region than in alpine steppe region;and in fine-grained soil region than in coarse-grained soil region.LI Ren ZHAO Lin DING YongJian WU TongHua XIAO Yao DU ErJi LIU GuangYue QIAO YongPing 2012Chinese Science Bulletin2012,57,35:51
3ELASTIC MODULUS REDUCTION METHOD FOR LIMIT LOAD EVALUATION OF FRAME STRUCTURES显示文摘A new strategy for elastic modulus adjustment is proposed based on the element bearing ratio (EBR),and the elastic modulus reduction method (EMRM) is proposed for limit load evaluation of frame structures. The EBR is defined employing the generalized yield criterion, and the reference EBR is determined by introducing the extrema and the degree of uniformity of EBR in the structure. The elastic modulus in the element with an EBR greater than the reference one is reduced based on the linear elastic finite element analysis and the equilibrium of strain energy. The lower-bound of limit-loads of frame structures are analyzed and the numerical example demonstrates the flexibility, accuracy and effciency of the proposed method.Lufeng Yang Bo Yu Yongping Qiao 2009Acta Mechanica Solida Sinica2009,22,2:20
4Modeling permafrost properties in the Qinghai-Xizang(Tibet) Plateau显示文摘Water and heat dynamics in the active layer at a monitoring site in the Tanggula Mountains, located in the permafrost region of the Qinghai-Xizang(Tibet) Plateau(QXP), were studied using the physical-process-based COUPMODEL model, including the interaction between soil temperature and moisture under freeze-thaw cycles. Meteorological, ground temperature and moisture data from different depths within the active layer were used to calibrate and validate the model. The results indicate that the calibrated model satisfactorily simulates the soil temperatures from the top to the bottom of the soil layers as well as the moisture content of the active layer in permafrost regions. The simulated soil heat flux at depths of 0 to 20 cm was consistent with the monitoring data, and the simulations of the radiation balance components were reasonable. Energy consumed for phase change was estimated from the simulated ice content during the freeze/thaw processes from 2007 to 2008. Using this model, the active layer thickness and the energy consumed for phase change were predicted for future climate warming scenarios. The model predicts an increase of the active layer thickness from the current 330 cm to approximately 350–390 cm as a result of a 1–2°C warming. However, the effect active layer thickness of more precipitation is limited when the precipitation is increased by 20%–50%. The COUPMODEL provides a useful tool for predicting and understanding the fate of permafrost in the QXP under a warming climate.HU GuoJie ZHAO Lin WU XiaoDong LI Ren WU TongHua XIE ChangWei PANG QiangQiang XIAO Yao LI WangPing QIAO YongPing SHI JianZong 2015Science China Earth Sciences2015,58,12:7
5Modeling Hydrothermal Transfer Processes in Permafrost Regions of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau in China显示文摘Hydrothermal processes are key components in permafrost dynamics; these processes are integral to global warming. In this study the coupled heat and mass transfer model for(Coup Model) the soil-plant-atmosphere-system is applied in high-altitude permafrost regions and to model hydrothermal transfer processes in freeze-thaw cycles. Measured meteorological forcing and soil and vegetation properties are used in the Coup Model for the period from January 1, 2009 to December 31, 2012 at the Tanggula observation site in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. A 24-h time step is used in the model simulation. The results show that the simulated soil temperature and water content, as well as the frozen depth compare well with the measured data. The coefficient of determination(R2) is 0.97 for the mean soil temperature and 0.73 for the mean soil water content, respectively. The simulated soil heat flux at a depth of 0–20 cm is also consistent with the monitored data. An analysis is performed on the simulated hydrothermal transfer processes from the deep soil layer to the upper one during the freezing and thawing period. At the beginning of the freezing period, the water in the deep soil layer moves upward to the freezing front and releases heat during the freezing process. When the soil layer is completely frozen, there are no vertical water exchanges between the soil layers, and the heat exchange process is controlled by the vertical soil temperature gradient. During the thawing period, the downward heat process becomes more active due to increased incoming shortwave radiation at the ground surface. The melt water is quickly dissolved in the soil, and the soil water movement only changes in the shallow soil layer. Subsequently, the model was used to provide an evaluation of the potential response of the active layer to different scenarios of initial water content and climate warming at the Tanggula site. The results reveal that the soil water content and the organic layer provide protection against active layer deepening in summer, so climate warming will cause the permafrost active layer to become deeper and permafrost degradation.HU Guojie ZHAO Lin LI Ren WU Tonghua WU Xiaodong PANG Qiangqiang XIAO Yao QIAO Yongping SHI Jianzong 2015Chinese Geographical Science2015,25,6:4
6An analytical model for estimating soil temperature profiles on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau of China显示文摘Soil temperature is a key variable in the control of underground hydro-thermal processes. To estimate soil temperature more accurately, this study proposed a solution method of the heat conduction equation of soil temperature(improved heat conduction model) by applying boundary conditions that incorporate the annual and diurnal variations of soil surface temperature and the temporal variation of daily temperature amplitude, as well as the temperature difference between two soil layers in the Tanggula observation site of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau of China. We employed both the improved heat conduction model and the classical heat conduction model to fit soil temperature by using the 5 cm soil layer as the upper boundary for soil depth. The results indicated that the daily soil temperature amplitude can be better described by the sinusoidal function in the improved model, which then yielded more accurate soil temperature simulating effect at the depth of 5 cm. The simulated soil temperature values generated by the improved model and classical heat conduction model were then compared to the observed soil temperature values at different soil depths. Statistical analyses of the root mean square error(RMSE), the normalized standard error(NSEE) and the bias demonstrated that the improved model showed higher accuracy, and the average values of RMSE, bias and NSEE at the soil depth of 10–105 cm were 1.41°C, 1.15°C and 22.40%, respectively. These results indicated that the improved heat conduction model can better estimate soil temperature profiles compared to the traditional model.HU Guojie ZHAO Lin WU Xiaodong LI Ren WU Tonghua XIE Changwei QIAO Yongping SHI Jianzong CHENG Guodong 2016Journal of Arid Land2016,8,2:4
72021 Chinese consensus on the diagnosis and management of primary immune thrombocytopenia in pregnancy显示文摘Immune thrombocytopenia(ITP)is an acquired disease characterized by isolated thrombocytopenia, which is one of the most common causes of thrombocytopenia during pregnancy.Women with ITP who have severe thrombocytopenia are at an increased risk for life-threatening obstetric complications. Therefore,we established this consensus statement on the diagnosis and management of ITP during pregnancy(detailed information is available in the Supplementary File,http://gffzz16e312a87a7141a5hkf55vcfwfbok6cpp.ffgz.tsg.suse.edu.cn/A978).Zhang Xiaohui Chen Fangping Chen Xiequn Cheng Yunfeng Fang Meiyun Feng Jianming Fu Haixia Gao Hong Han Yue He Aili Hou Ming Hu Yu Huang Ruibin Huang Wenrong Jing Zhicheng Kong Peiyan Liang Aibin Liang Meiying Liu Daihong Liu Junling Liu Lin Liu Xiaowei Ma Liangming Mei Heng Ni Heyu Niu Ting Peng Jun Qiao Jianlin Ren Jinhai Song Yongping Tang Liang V Tong Tong Wang Shaoyuan Wang Xin Wang Zhao Wei Hui Wu Depei Wu Guangsheng Xu Caigang Xu Xue Xu Yajing Yang Linhua Yang Renchi Yang Tonghua Yin Chenghong Yu Li Zhang Guangsen Zhang Lei Zhang Liansheng Zhang Xi Zhao Weili Zhao Yongqiang Zhou Daobin Zhou Hu Zhou Zeping Zhu Tienan Wang Jianliu Huang Xiaojun 2022Chinese Medical Journal2022,,8:2
8Surface-deformation monitoring in the permafrost regions over the Tibetan Plateau, using Sentinel-1 data显示文摘Differential Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar(D-In SAR) has been widely used to measure surface deformation over the Tibetan Plateau. However, the accuracy and applicability of the D-In SAR method are not well estimated due to the lack of in-situ validation. In this paper, we mapped the seasonal and long-term displacement of Tanggula(TGL) and Liangdaohe(LDH) permafrost regions with a stack of Sentinel-1 acquisitions using the Small Baseline Subset In SAR(SBAS-In SAR) method. In the TGL region, with its dry soils and sparse vegetation, the In SAR-derived surface-deformation trend was consistent with ground-based leveling results; long-term changes of the active layer showed a settlement rate of around 1 to 3 mm/a due to the melting of ground ice, indicating a degrading permafrost in this area. Around half of the deformation was picked up on monitoring, in contrast with in-situ measurements in LDH, implying that the D-In SAR method remarkably underestimated the surface-deformation. This phenomenon may be induced by the large soil-water content, high vegetation coverage, or a combination of these two factors in this region. This study demonstrates that surface deformation could be mapped accurately for a specific region with Sentinel-1 C-band data, such as in the TGL region. Moreover, although the D-In SAR technology provides an efficient solution for broad surface-deformation monitoring in permafrost regions, it shows a poor performance in the region with high soil-water content and dense vegetation coverage.ZhenMing Wu Lin Zhao Lin Liu Rui Zhu ZeShen Gao YongPing Qiao LiMing Tian HuaYun Zhou MeiZhen Xie 2018Research in Cold and Arid Regions2018,10,2:2
9Mobile phone recognition method based on bilinear convolutional neural network显示文摘Model recognition of second-hand mobile phones has been considered as an essential process to improve the efficiency of phone recycling. However, due to the diversity of mobile phone appearances, it is difficult to realize accurate recognition. To solve this problem, a mobile phone recognition method based on bilinear-convolutional neural network(B-CNN) is proposed in this paper.First, a feature extraction model, based on B-CNN, is designed to adaptively extract local features from the images of secondhand mobile phones. Second, a joint loss function, constructed by center distance and softmax, is developed to reduce the interclass feature distance during the training process. Third, a parameter downscaling method, derived from the kernel discriminant analysis algorithm, is introduced to eliminate redundant features in B-CNN. Finally, the experimental results demonstrate that the B-CNN method can achieve higher accuracy than some existing methods.HAN HongGui ZHEN Qi YANG HongYan DU YongPing QIAO JunFei 2021Science China(Technological Sciences)2021,64,11:2

15Antibacterial conductive self-healing hydrogel wound dressing with dual dynamic bonds promotes infected wound healing显示文摘In clinical applications, there is a lack of wound dressings that combine efficient resistance to drug-resistant bacteria with good self-healing properties. In this study,a series of adhesive self-healing conductive antibacterial hydrogel dressings based on oxidized sodium alginate-grafted dopamine/carboxymethyl chitosan/Fe3+(OSD/CMC/Fe hydrogel)/polydopamine-encapsulated poly(thiophene-3-acetic acid)(OSD/CMC/Fe/PA hydrogel)were prepared for the repair of infected wound. The Schiff base and Fe3+coordination bonds of the hydrogel structure are dynamic bonds that can be repaired automatically after the hydrogel network is disrupted.Macroscopically, the hydrogel exhibits self-healing properties, allowing the hydrogel dressing to adapt to complex wound surfaces. The OSD/CMC/Fe/PA hydrogel showed good conductivity and photothermal antibacterial properties under near-infrared(NIR)light irradiation. In addition, the hydrogels exhibit tunable rheological properties, suitable mechanical properties, antioxidant properties, tissue adhesion properties and hemostatic properties.Furthermore, all hydrogel dressings improved wound healing in the infected full-thickness defect skin wound repair test in mice. The wound size repaired by OSD/CMC/Fe/PA3 hydrogel+NIR was much smaller(12%)than the control group treated with Tegaderm™film after 14 days.In conclusion, the hydrogels have high antibacterial efficiency, suitable conductivity, great self-healing properties, good biocompatibility, hemostasis and antioxidant properties, making them promising candidates for wound healing dressings for the treatment of infected skin wounds.Lipeng Qiao Yongping Liang Jueying Chen Ying Huang Saeed A.Alsareii Abdulrahman Manaa Alamri Farid A.Harraz Baolin Guo 2023Bioactive Materials2023,,12:0

17The bulk transfer coefficients in the permafrost region at the Tanggula Pass of Tibetan Plateau显示文摘This paper presents research on the surface drag coefficients,CD,and the bulk transfer coefficients of sensible heat flux,CH,in the permafrost region at the Tanggula Pass of the Tibetan Plateau. The data were obtained from the Open-Path Eddy Covariance Sys-tem and the 10-m Automatic Weather Station(AWS)at the TGLMS site which supported by Cryosphere Research Station(Chi-nese Academy of Science)on the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau(Tibetan Plateau). The characteristics of CD and CH in relation to at-mospheric instability and wind velocity are discussed, and it was found that the bulk transfer coefficients varied with air conditions and were different in different months. However, the bulk transfer coefficients obtained from the eddy covariance system did not show a significant increasing trend with increasing atmospheric instability, and the bulk transfer coefficients did not change greatly with increasing wind velocity at 10 m.LiangLei Gu JiMin Yao Lin Zhao ZeYong Hu YongPing Qiao 2011Research in Cold and Arid Regions2011,3,4:0
18Impact of Initial Soil Conditions on Soil Hydrothermal and Surface Energy Fluxes in the Permafrost Region of the Tibetan Plateau显示文摘Accurate initial soil conditions play a crucial role in simulating soil hydrothermal and surface energy fluxes in land surface process modeling. This study emphasized the influence of the initial soil temperature(ST)and soil moisture(SM)conditions on a land surface energy and water simulation in the permafrost region in the Tibetan Plateau(TP)using the Community Land Model version 5.0(CLM5.0).The results indicate that the default initial schemes for ST and SM in CLM5.0 were simplistic, and inaccurately represented the soil characteristics of permafrost in the TP which led to underestimating ST during the freezing period while overestimating ST and underestimating SLW during the thawing period at the XDT site.Applying the long-term spin-up method to obtain initial soil conditions has only led to limited improvement in simulating soil hydrothermal and surface energy fluxes. The modified initial soil schemes proposed in this study comprehensively incorporate the characteristics of permafrost, which coexists with soil liquid water(SLW),and soil ice(SI)when the ST is below freezing temperature, effectively enhancing the accuracy of the simulated soil hydrothermal and surface energy fluxes.Consequently, the modified initial soil schemes greatly improved upon the results achieved through the long-term spin-up method.Three modified initial soil schemes experiments resulted in a 64%,88%,and 77%reduction in the average mean bias error(MBE)of ST,and a 13%,21%,and 19%reduction in the average root-mean-square error(RMSE)of SLW compared to the default simulation results. Also, the average MBE of net radiation was reduced by 7%,22%,and 21%.Siqiong LUO Zihang CHEN Jingyuan WANG Tonghua WU Yao XIAO Yongping QIAO 2024Advances in Atmospheric Sciences2024,41,4:0
19Effect of Refiner Plate Bar Angle and Pulp Properties on the Low Consistency Refining Efficiency in Terms of Power Consumption显示文摘Power consumption is the energy source of the impact on fibers or pulp during low-consistency(LC)pulp refining, and the strength of refining affects refining quality and efficiency. The pulp properties, operating parameters, and bar parameters of the refiner plates are important parameters affecting refining efficiency, which can be defined as the ratio of net to total refining power. In this study,LC refining trials for pulps with different consistencies and fiber lengths were conducted using five isometric straightbar plates with different bar angles to explore the influences of the plate bar angle and pulp properties on the no-load power, impact capacity on fibers and refining efficiency. It was found that the no-load power of the LC refining process decreased with an increase in the plate bar angle while increased when pulp with higher consistency was refined under the same refining conditions. However, the effect of pulp consistency on the no-load power can be neglected when refining is conducted using plates with larger bar angles.Meanwhile,a critical bar angle for straight-bar plates in LC refining may exist, which has the strongest impact on the pulp and highest refining efficiency under the same refining conditions. In addition, the impact capacity of the plate on the pulp and refining efficiency in LC refining can be enhanced by appropriately increasing the pulp consistency and average fiber length when the bar angle of the refiner plate with a sector angle of 40°is less than 30°.Therefore,the efficiency and power consumption of the LC refining process can be adjusted by optimizing the pulp consistency and bar parameters of the refining plates.Huan Liu Jixian Dong Yongping Pu Xiya Guo Lijie Qiao Yan Yan 2023Paper And Biomaterials2023,8,4:0
