| 1 | Therapeutic effect of recombinant tissue plasminogen activator on acute cerebral infarction at different times显示文摘BACKGROUND:The study aimed to compare the therapeutic effect of recombinant tissue plasminogen activator(rt-PA) on the onset of acute cerebral infarction(ACI) at different time points of the first 6 hours.METHODS:A retrospective analysis was conducted in 74 patients who received rt-PA thrombolysis treatment within 4.5 hours after ACI and another 15 patients who received rt-PA thrombolysis treatment between 4.5-6 hours after ACI.RESULTS:National Institute of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS) scores were statistically decreased in both groups(P>0.05) at 24 hours and 7 days after ACI.There was no significant difference in modified ranking scores and mortality at 90 days after the treatment between the two groups(P>0.05).CONCLUSIONS:The therapeutic effect and mortality of rt-PA treatment in patients with ACI between 4.5-6 hours after the onset of the disease were similar to those in patients who received rtPA within 4.5 hours after the onset of this disease.Therefore,intravenous thrombolytic therapy for ACI within 4.5-6 hours after ACI was effective and safe. | Ming Liu Hai-rong Wang Jia-fu Liu Hao-jun Li Shen-xing Chen Sha Shen Shu-ming Pan | 2013 | World Journal of Emergency Medicine2013,4,3: | 20 |
| 2 | A systematic review of metabolomic profiling of gastric cancer and esophageal cancer显示文摘Objective:Upper gastrointestinal(UGI)cancers,predominantly gastric cancer(GC)and esophageal cancer(EC),are malignant tumor types with high morbidity and mortality rates.Accumulating studies have focused on metabolomic profiling of UGI cancers in recent years.In this systematic review,we have provided a collective summary of previous findings on metabolites and metabolomic profiling associated with GC and EC.Methods:A systematic search of three databases(Embase,PubMed,and Web of Science)for molecular epidemiologic studies on the metabolomic profiles of GC and EC was conducted.The Newcastle–Ottawa Scale(NOS)was used to assess the quality of the included articles.Results:A total of 52 original studies were included for review.A number of metabolites were differentially distributed between GC and EC cases and non-cases,including those involved in glycolysis,anaerobic respiration,tricarboxylic acid cycle,and protein and lipid metabolism.Lactic acid,glucose,citrate,and fumaric acid were among the most frequently reported metabolites of cellular respiration while glutamine,glutamate,and valine were among the most commonly reported amino acids.The lipid metabolites identified previously included saturated and unsaturated free fatty acids,aldehydes,and ketones.However,the key findings across studies to date have been inconsistent,potentially due to limited sample sizes and the majority being hospital-based case-control analyses lacking an independent replication group.Conclusions:Studies on metabolomics have thus far provided insights into etiological factors and biomarkers for UGI cancers,supporting the potential of applying metabolomic profiling in cancer prevention and management efforts. | Sha Huang Yang Guo Zhexuan Li Yang Zhang Tong Zhou Weicheng You Kaifeng Pan Wenqing Li | 2020 | Cancer Biology & Medicine2020,17,1: | 11 |
| 3 | Stratigraphy of the Triassic-Jurassic Boundary Successions of the Southern Margin of the Junggar Basin,Northwestern China显示文摘The Triassic-Jurassic(Tr-J) boundary marks a major extinction event,which(~200 Ma) resulted in global extinctions of fauna and flora both in the marine and terrestrial realms.There prevail great challenges in determining the exact location of the terrestrial Tr-J boundary,because of endemism of taxa and the scarcity of fossils in terrestrial settings leading to difficulties in linking marine and terrestrial sedimentary successions.Investigation based on palynology and bivalves has been carried out over a 1113 m thick section,which is subdivided into 132 beds,along the Haojiagou valley on the southern margin of the Junggar Basin of the northern Xinjiang,northwestern China.The terrestrial Lower Jurassic is conformably resting on the Upper Triassic strata.The Upper Triassic covers the Huangshanjie Formation overlaid by the Haojiagou Formation,while the Lower Jurassic comprises the Badaowan Formation followed by the Sangonghe Formation.Fifty six pollen and spore taxa and one algal taxon were identified from the sediments.Based on the key-species and abundance of spores and pollen,three zones were erected:the Late Triassic(Rhaetian) Aratrisporites-Alisporites Assemblage,the Early Jurassic(Hettangian) Perinopollenites-Pinuspollenites Assemblage,and the Sinemurian Perinopollenites-Cycadopites Assemblage.The Tr-J boundary is placed between bed 44 and 45 coincident with the boundary between the Haojiagou and Badaowan formations.Beds with Ferganoconcha(?),Unio-Ferganoconcha and Waagenoperna-Yananoconcha bivalve assemblages are recognized.The Ferganoconcha(?) bed is limited to the upper Haojiagou Formation, Unio-Ferganoconcha and Waagenoperna-Yananoconcha assemblages are present in the middle and upper members of the Badaowan Formation.The sedimentary succession is interpreted as terrestrial with two mainly lake deposit intervals within Haojiagou and Badaowan formations,yielding fresh water algae and bivalves.However,the presence of brackish water algae Tasmanites and the marine-littoral facies bivalve Waagenoperna from the Badaowan Formation indicate that the Junggar Basin was influenced by sea water caused by transgressions from the northern Tethys,during the Sinemurian. | SHA Jingeng Vivi VAJDA PAN Yanhong Linda LARSSON YAO Xiaogang ZHANG Xiaolin WANG Yaqiong CHENG Xiansheng JIANG Baoyu DENG Shenghui CHEN Siwei PENG Bo | 2011 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2011,85,2: | 7 |
| 4 | Efficacy of concurrent chemoradiotherapy plus adjuvant chemotherapy on advanced cervical cancer显示文摘Background and Objective: Concurrent chemoradiotherapy for cervical carcinoma develops rapidly and has become a common and standard therapy in recent years. Both the local control rate and survival rate of patients were increased and the risk of death fell by 30%-50%. This study aimed to explore the efficacy of concurrent chemoradiotherapy plus adjuvant chemotherapy on and the treatment compliance of the patients with advanced cervical squamous cell carcinoma. Methods: A total of 156 patients with stage IIa-IIIb cervical squamous cell carcinoma were randomly divided into the concurrent chemoradiotherapy group (experimental group) and radiotherapy group (control group). Intracavity and external beam radiation therapy were administered. At point A, 40-48 Gy were given by 10-12 fractions; at point B, 46-50 Gy were given by 23-25 fractions. In the same time, experimental group was treated by cisplatin (DDP, 40 mg) on day 1, repeated every week. Ten days after radiation therapy, TP regimen was administered as adjuvant chemotherapy. Results: For the experimental and control groups, the objective response rates were 88.61% and 75.32%, 1-year survival rates were 88.57% and 70.77%, 1-year local control rates were 81.43% and 64.62%, 3-year survival rates were 82.14% and 57.69%, and 3-year local control rates were 75.00% and 46.15%, with significant differences (P < 0.05). Quality of life of all patients were significantly improved after treatment (P< 0.05). | 5 | 6-O-angeloylplenolin exerts neuroprotection against lipopolysaccharide-induced neuroinflammation in vitro and in vivo显示文摘Neuroinflammation is one of the critical events in neurodegenerative diseases,whereas microglia play an important role in the pathogenesis of neuroinflammation.In this study,we investigated the effects of a natural sesquiterpene lactone,6-O-angeloylplenolin(6-OAP),isolated from the traditional Chinese medicine Centipeda minima(L.)A.Br.,on neuroinflammation and the underlying mechanisms.We showed that treatment with lipopolysaccharide(LPS)caused activation of BV2 and primary microglial cells and development of neuroinflammation in vitro,evidenced by increased production of inflammatory cytokines TNF-αand IL-1β,the phosphorylation and nuclear translocation of NF-κB,and the transcriptional upregulation of COX-2 and iNOS,leading to increased production of proinflammatory factors NO and PGE2.Moreover,LPS treatment induced oxidative stress through increasing the expression levels of NOX2 and NOX4.Pretreatment with 6-OAP(0.5−4μM)dose-dependently attenuated LPS-induced NF-κB activation and oxidative stress,thus suppressed neuroinflammation in the cells.In a mouse model of LPS-induced neuroinflammation,6-OAP(5−20 mg·kg^−1·d^−1,ip,for 7 days before LPS injection)dose-dependently inhibited the production of inflammatory cytokines,the activation of the NF-κB signaling pathway,and the expression of inflammatory enzymes in brain tissues.6-OAP pretreatment significantly ameliorated the activation of microglia and astrocytes in the brains.6-OAP at a high dose caused a much stronger antineuroinflammatory effect than dexamethansone(DEX).Furthermore,we demonstrated that 6-OAP pretreatment could inhibit LPS-induced neurite and synaptic loss in vitro and in vivo.In conclusion,our results demonstrate that 6-OAP exerts antineuroinflammatory effects and can be considered a novel drug candidate for the treatment of neuroinflammatory diseases. | Yi-le Zhou Yong-ming Yan Si-yi Li Dan-hua He Sha Xiong Su-fen Wei Wei Liu Ling Hu Qi Wang Hua-feng Pan Yong-xian Cheng Yong-qiang Liu | 2020 | Acta Pharmacologica Sinica2020,41,1: | 5 |
| 6 | Chromosome doubling of Sedum alfredii Hance: A novel approach for improving phytoremediation efficiency显示文摘Sedum alfredii Hance is a cadmium(Cd)/zinc(Zn)hyperaccumulator native to China.However,its relatively low biomass restricted the large-scale application for heavy metal contamination remediation.The chromosome set doubling of S.alfredii in vitro was achieved by 0.1%–0.2%(W/V)colchicine treatment.The plant DNA ploidy was analyzed by flow cytometry and chromosome set doubling plants(CSD)were identified based on the obvious different sharp peak.A tissue culture experiment with different Cd treated levels and a field trial with natural polluted mined soil were conducted to study the effects of chromosome doubling on plant biomass and Cd accumulation in shoots.The results suggested that S.alfredii is a mixoploid.Compared with the wild type plants(WT),CSD exhibited typical'gigas'characteristics in morphology including stem thickness,root hair production,number of leaves and size of stoma guard cell.Fresh weight and dry weight of CSD were increased to 1.62–2.03-fold and 2.26–3.25-fold of WT.And Cd content of CSD showed a17.49%–42.82%increase and 59%increase under tissue culture and field condition,accordingly.In addition,the TF and in BCF of CSD were 2.37-and 1.59-fold of WT,respectively.These results proved that it is feasible to promote phytoextraction efficiency of S.alfredii in Cd contaminated soils through chromosomal engineering,which provides a novel approach for hyperaccumulator application in phytoremediation. | Ying Feng Qiong Wang Qian Meng Yongjun Liu Fengshan Pan Sha Luo Yingjie Wu Luyao Ma Xiaoe Yang | 2019 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2019,31,12: | 4 |

| 10 | Enhancement of oral bioavailability and anti-Parkinsonian efficacy of resveratrol through a nanocrystal formulation显示文摘Resveratrol(RES),a non-flavonoid polyphenol extracted from a wide variety of plants,exhibits neuroprotective activities against Parkinson’s disease(PD).However,undesirable water solubility of RES reduces its oral bioavailability and demonstrates lowefficacy in blood and brain,thus limiting its application.In present study,a nanocrystal formulation of RES(RES-NCs)was developed to enhance its oral bioavailability and delivery into brain for PD treatment.RES-NCs were fabricated with hydroxypropyl methylcellulose(HPMC)stabilizer via antisolvent precipitation approach.The obtained RES-NCs displayed the particle size of 222.54±1.66 nm,the PDI of 0.125±0.035,the zeta potential of−9.41±0.37mV,and a rapid in vitro dissolution rate.Molecular dynamics simulation of RES and HPMC revealed an interaction energy of−68.09 kJ/mol and a binding energy of−30.98±0.388 kJ/mol,indicating that the spontaneous binding between the two molecules is through van der Waals forces.RES-NCs conferred enhanced cellular uptake as well as improved permeability relative to pure RES.In addition,RES-NCs were able to protect neurons against cytotoxicity induced by MPP+.Meanwhile,RES-NCs exerted no significant toxic effects on zebrafish embryos and larvae,and did not influence their survival and hatching rates.When orally administered to rats,RES-NCs exhibited more favorable pharmacokinetics than pure RES,with higher plasma and brain concentrations.More importantly,MPTP-induced PD mice showed notable improvements in behavior,attenuated dopamine deficiency,and elevated levels of dopamine and its metabolites after the treatment with RES-NCs.Furthermore,immunoblot analysis revealed that the neuroprotective role of RES-NCsmay be at least partially mediated by Akt/Gsk3βsignaling pathway.Taken altogether,RES-NCs can serve as a potential treatment modality for PD,offering means of improving RES oral bioavailability and brain accumulation. | Sha Xiong Wei Liu Yile Zhou Yousheng Mo Yao Liu Xiaojia Chen Huafeng Pan Dongsheng Yuan QiWang Tongkai Chen | 2020 | Asian Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences2020,15,4: | 3 |

The results showed that the soil erodibility decreased significantly after the vegetation restoration. The climate environment of the small watershed had a great improvement after the vegetation restoration, of which the temperature decreased, the humidity increased, the harsh environment of dry and hot in this region changed. The studies of the ecosystem biodiversity were mainly on the analysis of the relations between biodiversity and ecological function of the artificial ecological forest pattern and the natural enclosed treatment mode on the severely of degraded land. It could conclude that the natural en-closed treatment mode is helpful to the biodiversity of the ecosystem and the improvement and stability of the ecosystem, and Leucaena artificial forest restoration pattern reduced the species diversity but optimized the ecological function. The comprehensive evaluation indexes of landscape include forest coverage, biodiversity, stability, soil erosion, environmental quality, availability, scientific research characteristic, economic benefits. Using AHP (analytical hierarchy process), determine the grade of ecological evaluation factors and the weight of evaluation index and calculate the CEI (comprehensive evaluation index) on ecological evaluation. Evaluation results showed that the area CEI was 0.714 225, a better quality of the eco-logical level, but biodiversity indicators was the lowest. To sum up, it was difficult to maintain ecological restoration effectiveness and process but also guarantee a good biodiversity in the arid-hot valleys. | 19 | Rainfall-Interception Effect of Vegetation Restored Region of Gully in Arid-Hot Valley of Jinshajiang River显示文摘This paper divides the process of rainfall redistribution into four levels in vegetation restored region of gully in arid-hot valley of Jinshajiang River. These levels include arbor interception, litter interception, soil interception and surface runoff. The results showed that the maximum of interception was 8.10 mm, the mean interception was 4.53 mm, the maximum of interception rate was 56.10 % and the mean interception rate was 32.63 %.When the rainfall is over 20 mm, the interception rate descends rapidly along with the rainfall increasing. The maximum of water-holding content of litter was 8.14-20.33 t/hm2, the mean of which is 12.52 t/hm2 and the maximum of water-holding content was over two times of it own weight.The rainfall of litter interception was 150.24 mm, accounted for the rainfall income 24.48%.The maximum water-holding capacity of soil achieves 2 198.54 t/hm2, but that of the barren land is 1 825.60 t/hm2. The rainfall of soil interception was 219.87 mm, accounted for the rainfall income 35.82%. The surface runoff of vegetation restored region was 43.41 mm, accounted for 7.07% of the rainfall income, but the surface runoff of non-forest land was 413.24 mm, accounts for 70.26% of the rainfall income.The surface runoff of the planted forest community was by 63.19% lower than that of the non-forest land.
