Study on Graphene Oxide Modified Inorganic Phase Change Materials and Their Packaging Behavior显示文摘We prepared the nano-inorganic phase-change 'alloy' materials through the modification of Na_2SO_4·10H_2O using Na_2HPO_4·12H_2O and GO nano-nucleating agent, and further investigated their thermophysical properties such as melting/solidification temperatures and enthalpies via differential scanning calorimetry. When the weight ratio of Na_2SO_4·10H_2O and Na_2HPO_4·12H_2O was 8:2 and the weight ratio of graphene oxide was 0.5% of phase change material, the phase change 'alloy' material showed excellent performances, specifically, the melting temperature and latent heat were found to be 22 ℃ and 190 J/g with a degree of subcooling decreased from 8.6℃ to 2.1℃. In order to extend the application of the phase change 'alloy' material to building energy saving field, it was adsorbed on expanded glass beads under vacuum and further covered with diatomite. When the adsorption rate of EGB(volume) and PCAM(weight) was 2.5:1, the particle size of diatomaceous earth was found to be 3.6μm, while the best packaging result was obtained with the melting temperature and latent heat being 21℃ and 135 J/g, and no leakage was observed. | 肖力光 ZHAO Mingyue HU Hongliang | 2018 | Journal of Wuhan University of Technology(Materials Science)2018,33,4: | 14
Cardiac autonomic nerve fiber regeneration in chronic heart failure Do Akt gene-transduced mesenchymal stem cells promote repair?显示文摘BACKGROUND: Transplantation of Akt-over-expressing mesenchymal stem cells (Akt-MSCs) has been shown to repair infarcted myocardium and improve cardiac function. However, little is known about the therapeutic effects of Akt-MSCs on cardiac autonomic neuropathy in chronic heart failure (CHF). OBJECTIVE: The present study used adriamycin-induced CHF rat models to observe the effect of Akt-MSCs on cardiac autonomic nervous regeneration and the factors mediating this effect. DESIGN, TIME AND SETTING: A randomized, controlled animal experiment was performed at the Central Laboratory of Basic Medical College, China Medical University, between September 2008 and April 2009. MATERIALS: Rabbit anti-choline acetyltransferase (ChAT), growth associated protein-43 (GAP-43), synaptophysin (SYN) polyclonal antibodies and the secondary antibody (goat anti-rabbit IgG) were purchased from Boster, China. Cat-A-Kit assay system was provided by Amersham, USA. METHODS: (1) Adult rat MSCs were isolated and cultured for the preparation of Akt-MSCs. (2) Forty male Wistar rats were intramyocardially administered adriamycin at 2 mg/kg over 3 days for a total of five times and once a week for additional five times thereafter to establish CHF models. At 2 weeks after final adriamycin treatment, 34 successful CHF rat models were randomized to three groups: Akt-MSCs (n = 11), simple MSCs (s-MSCs, n =11), and control (n = 12). Each group was intravenously administered Akt-MSCs (2×106 cells in 100 μL PBS), s-MSCs (2×106 cells in 100 μL PBS) or equal volume of phosphate buffered saline, once a day for a total of three times. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: At 4 weeks after final adriamycin treatment, myocardial norepi- nephrine (NE) content was detected using a Cat-A-Kit assay system. Myocardial ChAT, SYN and GAP-43 were performed by immunohistochemistry and Western blot analysis. Prior to, 2 and 4 weeks after adriamycin treatment, echocardiographic examination was performed and left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) was determined. RESULTS: Myocardial NE content, as well as SYN-positive and GAP-43-positive nerve fiber density and expression, and LVEF, was the greatest in the Akt-MSCs group, followed by the s-MSCs group, and lastly the control group (P < 0.05 or P < 0.01). ChAT expression was similar between Akt-MSCs and s-MSCs groups, but it was higher compared with the control group (P < 0.05). NE contents were negatively correlated to LVEF (r = -0.64, P = 0.015). CONCLUSION: Transplantation of MSCs, in particular Akt-MSCs, promotes cardiac nervous regeneration in failing heart, which might be mediated by GAP-43. | Hongliang Kong Zhanquan Li Shumei Zhao Li Zhu Yingjun Zhao Weiwei Zhang GuipingXu Wenjun Hao Huijun Li Guoxian Qi | 2010 | Neural Regeneration Research2010,5,1: | 13
Serum IgA,IgM,and IgG responses in COVID-19显示文摘Currently,detecting SARS-CoV-2 RNAs is a standard approach for COVID-19 diagnosis. However, there is an urgent need for reliable and rapid serological diagnostic methods to screen SARS-CoV-2-infected people including those who do not have overt symptoms. Most emerging studies described serological tests based on detection of SARS-CoV-2-specific IgM and IgG.1–4 Although detection of SARS-CoV-2-specific IgA in serum has been reported in few papers,5,6 analyses of IgA levels in a larger number of COVID-19 patients are still lacking. | Huan Ma Weihong Zeng Hongliang He Dan Zhao Dehua Jiang Peigen Zhou Linzhao Cheng Yajuan Li Xiaoling Ma Tengchuan Jin | 2020 | Cellular & Molecular Immunology2020,17,7: | 12
Decolorization of Methyl Orange by a new clay-supported nanoscale zero-valent iron:Synergetic effect, efficiency optimization and mechanism显示文摘In this study, a novel nanoscale zero-valent iron(n ZVI) composite material was successfully synthesized using a low-cost natural clay, 'Hangjin 2#clay'(HJ clay) as the support and tested for the decolorization of the azo dye Methyl Orange(MO) in aqueous solution by n ZVI particles. According to the characterization and MO decolorization experiments, the sample with 5:1 HJ clay-supported n ZVI(HJ/n ZVI) mass ratio(HJ-n ZVI5) showed the best dispersion and reactivity and the highest MO decolorization efficiency. With the same equivalent Fe0 dosage, the HJ-n ZVI1 and HJ-n ZVI5 samples demonstrated a synergetic effect for the decolorization of MO: their decolorization efficiencies were much higher than that achieved by physical mixing of HJ clay and n ZVIs, or the sum of HJ clay and n ZVIs alone. The synergetic effect was primarily due to the improved dispersion and more effective utilization of the n ZVI particles on/in the composite materials. Higher decolorization efficiency of MO was obtained at larger HJ-n ZVI dosage, higher temperature and under N2 atmosphere, while the MO initial concentration and p H were negatively correlated to the efficiency. HJ clay not only works as a carrier for n ZVI nanoparticles, but also contributes to the decolorization through an 'adsorption-enhanced reduction' mechanism. The high efficiency of HJ-n ZVI for decontamination gives it great potential for use in a variety of remediation applications. | Xiaoguang Li Ying Zhao Beidou Xi Xiaoguang Meng Bin Gong Rui Li Xing Peng Hongliang Liu | 2017 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2017,29,2: | 9
A NAC transcription factor, NOR-like1, is a new positive regulator of tomato fruit ripening显示文摘Ripening of the model fruit tomato(Solanum lycopersicum)is controlled by a transcription factor network including NAC(NAM,ATAF1/2,and CUC2)domain proteins such as No-ripening(NOR),SlNAC1,and SlNAC4,but very little is known about the NAC targets or how they regulate ripening. Here,we conducted a systematic search of fruit-expressed NAC genes and showed that silencing NOR-like1(Solyc07g063420)using virus-induced gene silencing(VIGS)inhibited specific aspects of ripening.Ripening initiation was delayed by 14 days when NOR-like1 function was inactivated by CRISPR/Cas9 and fruits showed obviously reduced ethylene production, retarded softening and chlorophyll loss, and reduced lycopene accumulation.RNA-sequencing profiling and gene promoter analysis suggested that genes involved in ethylene biosynthesis(SlACS2,SlACS4),color formation(SlGgpps2,SlSGR1),and cell wall metabolism(SlPG2a,SlPL,SlCEL2,and SlEXP1)are direct targets of NOR-like1.Electrophoretic mobility shift assays(EMSA),chromatin immunoprecipitation-quantitative PCR(ChIP-qPCR),and dual-luciferase reporter assay(DLR)confirmed that NOR-like1 bound to the promoters of these genes both in vitro and in vivo, and activated their expression. Our findings demonstrate that NOR-like1 is a new positive regulator of tomato fruit ripening, with an important role in the transcriptional regulatory network. | Ying Gao Wei Wei Xiaodan Zhao Xiaoli Tan Zhongqi Fan Yiping Zhang Yuan Jing Lanhuan Meng Benzhong Zhu Hongliang Zhu Jianye Chen Cai-Zhong Jiang Donald Grierson Yunbo Luo Da-Qi Fu | 2018 | Horticulture Research2018,5,1: | 9

Recent progress in computational thermal radiative transfer显示文摘The equation describing the transfer of radiant energy in semitransparent media is radiative transfer equation. In three-dimensional semitransparent media, radiative intensity is a function of 7 dimensions, which can only be solved through the numerical method in most circumstances. Numerical simulation has become an important way in the study and application of the theory of thermal radiative transfer in semitransparent media. | 10 | GNP6,a novel allele of MOC1,regulates panicle and tiller development in rice显示文摘The yield of rice is mostly affected by three factors, namely, panicle number, grain number and grain weight.Variation in panicle and grain numbers is mainly caused by tiller and panicle branches generated from axillary meristems(AMs).MOC1 encodes a putative GRAS family nuclear protein that regulates AM formation.Although several alleles of MOC1 have been identified, its variation in germplasm resources remains unclear. In the present study we characterized a novel mocl allele named gnp6 which has a thymine insertion in the coding sequence of the SAW motif in the GRAS domain. This mutation causes arrested branch formation. The SAW motif is necessary for nuclear localization of GNP6/MOC1 where it functions as a transcription factor or co-regulator.Haplotype analysis showed that the coding region of GNP6/MOC1 was conserved without any non-synonymous mutations in 240 rice accessions. However, variation in the promoter region might affect the expression of it and its downstream genes.Joint haplotype analysis of GNP6/MOC1 and MOC3 showed that haplotype combinations H9,H10 and H11,namely MOC1-Hap1 in combination with MOC3-Hap3,MOC3-Hap4 or MOC3-Hap5 could be bred to promote branch formation. These findings will enrich the genetic resources available for rice breeders. | Zhanying Zhang Xingming Sun Xiaoqian Ma Bingxia Xu Yong Zhao Zhiqi Ma Gangling Li Najeeb Ullah Khan Yinghua Pan Yuntao Liang Hongliang Zhang Jinjie Li Zichao Li | 2021 | The Crop Journal2021,9,1: | 6
Emodin prevents hypoxic-ischemic neuronal injury Involvement of the activin A pathway显示文摘Emodin, an extract of dried rhizomes and the root of the Rhizoma Polygoni Cuspidati, can protect neurons from hypoxic-ischemic brain damage. This study aimed to verify the underlying mechanism. After PC12 cells had differentiated into neuron-like cells under the induction of mouse nerve growth factor, cells were subjected to oxygen-glucose deprivation and treated with emodin. Results showed that the viability of neuron-like cells cultured under an ischemia-hypoxia environment decreased, while the expression of activin A and caspase-3 in cells increased. Emodin raised the survival rate of oxygen-glucose deprived neuron-like cells, increased activin A expression, and decreased caspase-3 expression. Experimental findings indicate that emodin can inhibit neuronal apoptosis and alleviate the injury of nerve cells after oxygen-glucose deprivation through the activin A pathway. | Hongliang Guo Xiaoran Shen Ye Xu Junliang Yuan Dongming Zhao Wenli Hu | 2013 | Neural Regeneration Research2013,8,15: | 5
Mesenchymal stem cell-derived small extracellular vesicles mitigate oxidative stress-induced senescence in endothelial cells via regulation of miR-146a/Src显示文摘Senescent endothelial cells (ECs) could impair the integrity of the blood vessel endothelium, leading to vascular aging and a series of diseases, such as atherosclerosis, diabetes. Preventing or mitigating EC senescence might serve as a promising therapeutic paradigm for these diseases. Recent studies showed that small extracellular vesicles (sEV) have the potential to transfer bioactive molecules into recipient cells and induce phenotypic changes. Since mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) have long been postulated as an important source cell in regenerative medicine, herein we investigated the role and mechanism of MSC-derived sEV (MSC-sEV) on EC senescence. In vitro results showed that MSC-sEV reduced senescent biomarkers, decreased senescence-associated secretory phenotype (SASP), rescued angiogenesis, migration and other dysfunctions in senescent EC induced by oxidative stress. In the In vivo natural aging and type-2 diabetes mouse wound-healing models (both of which have senescent ECs), MSC-sEV promoted wound closure and new blood vessel formation. Mechanically, miRNA microarray showed that miR-146a was highly expressed in MSC-sEV and also upregulated in EC after MSC-sEV treatment. miR-146a inhibitors abolished the stimulatory effects of MSC-sEV on senescence. Moreover, we found miR-146a could suppress Src phosphorylation and downstream targets VE-cadherin and Caveolin-1. Collectively, our data indicate that MSC-sEV mitigated endothelial cell senescence and stimulate angiogenesis through miR-146a/Src. | Xian Xiao Meiqian Xu Hongliang Yu Liping Wang Xiaoxia Li Janusz Rak Shihua Wang Robert Chunhua Zhao | 2021 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2021,6,11: | 5
Microstructure and mechanical properties of C_(x)Hf_(0.25)NbTaW_(0.5) refractory high-entropy alloys at room and high temperatures显示文摘The microstructure and mechanical properties of as-cast and isothermally annealed C_(x)Hf_(0.25)NbTaW_(0.5)(x=0,0.05,0.15,0.25)refractory high-entropy alloys(RHEAs)were studied. Both the as-cast and annealed RHEAs consisted of disordered body-centered cubic solid solution phase and metal carbide(MC)phase with a face-centered cubic crystal structure(Fm-3 m space group). The primary carbides were enriched with Hf and C elements and tended to form lamellar eutectic-like microstructure in the interdendrites. The lamellar eutectic-like structure in the interdendrites would be formed from the decomposition of sub-carbide M_(2)C under the influence of Hf element. After isothermal annealing, slatted carbides were precipitated on the matrix, and the distribution became more uniform with high C content. The formation of carbides strongly influenced the mechanical properties both at room and high temperatures. The yield strength values of C_(x)Hf_(0.25)NbTaW_(0.5) RHEA at 1473 and 1673 K were 792 and 749 MPa,respectively. The result had exceeded the high temperature mechanical properties of currently known RHEAs.Moreover, this RHEA exhibited high-temperature performance stability and excellent plasticity, exceeding 30 and 50%at room and elevated temperatures(above 1273 K),respectively.During thermal deformation,carbon-containing RHEAs obtained more severe work hardening than that of ACHO RHEAs,and required greater dynamic recrystallization to achieve the dynamic equilibrium. | Shiyu Wu Dongxu Qiao Haitao Zhang Junwei Miao Hongliang Zhao Jun Wang Yiping Lu Tongmin Wang Tingju Li | 2022 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,2: | 4
Numerical optimization for blades of Intermig impeller in solid-liquid stirred tank显示文摘The multiphase flow in the solid-liquid tank stirred with a new structure of Intermig impeller was analyzed by computational fluid dynamics(CFD).The Eulerian multiphase model and standard k-ε turbulence model were adopted to simulate the fluid flow, turbulent kinetic energy distribution, mixing performance and power consumption in a stirred tank. The simulation results were also verified by the water model experiments, and good agreement was achieved. The solid-liquid mixing performances of Intermig impeller with different blade structures were compared in detail. The results show that the improved Intermig impeller not only enhances the solid mixing and suspension, but also saves more than 20% power compared with the standard one.The inner blades have relatively little influence on power and the best angle of inner blades is 45°,while the outer blades affect greatly the power consumption and the optimized value is 45°. | Xiaolong Li Hongliang Zhao Zimu Zhang Yan Liu Ting’an Zhang | 2021 | Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2021,34,1: | 4
Ultraviolet-to-microwave room-temperature photodetectors based on three-dimensional graphene foams显示文摘Highly sensitive broadband photodetection is of critical importance for many applications. However,it is a great challenge to realize broadband photodetection by using a single device. Here we report photodetectors(PDs)based on three-dimensional(3 D)graphene foam(GF)photodiodes with asymmetric electrodes, which show an ultra-broadband photoresponse from ultraviolet to microwave for wavelengths ranging from 10~2 to 10~6 nm.Moreover, the devices exhibit a high photoresponsivity of 10~3 A·W^-1,short response time of 43 ms,and3 d B bandwidth of 80 Hz.The high performance of the devices can be attributed to the photothermoelectric(PTE,also known as the Seebeck)effect in 3 D GF photodiodes. The excellent optical, thermal, and electrical properties of 3 D GFs offer a superior basis for the fabrication of PTE-based PDs.This work paves the way to realize ultra-broadband and high-sensitivity PDs operated at room temperature. | YIFAN LI YATING ZHANG YU YU ZHILIANG CHEN QINGYAN LI TENGTENG LI JIE LI HONGLIANG ZHAO QUAN SHENG FENG YAN ZHEN GE YUXIN REN YONGSHENG CHEN JIANQUAN YAO | 2020 | Photonics Research2020,8,3: | 4
Novel hierarchical structure of MoS_(2)/TiO_(2)/Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) composites for dramatically enhanced electromagnetic absorbing properties显示文摘In order to prevent the microwave leakage and mutual interference, more and more microwave absorbing devices are added into the design of electronic products to ensure its routine operation. In this work,we have successfully prepared MoS_(2)/TiO_(2)/Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) hierarchical composites by one-pot hydrothermal method and focused on the relationship between structures and electromagnetic absorbing properties.Supported by comprehensive characterizations,M0S_(2) nanosheets were proved to be anchored on the surface and interlayer of Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) through a hydrothermal process.Additionally,TiO_(2) nanoparticles were obtained in situ.Due to these hierarchical structures, the MoS_(2)/TiO_(2)/Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) composites showed greatly enhanced microwave absorbing performance. The MoS_(2)/TiO_(2)/Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) composites exhibit a maximum reflection loss value of -33.5 dB at 10.24 GHz and the effective absorption bandwidth covers 3.1GHz(13.9-17 GHz)at the thickness of 1.0 mm,implying the features of wide frequency and light weight. This work in the hierarchical structure of MoS_(2)/TiO_(2)/Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) composites opens a promising door to the exploration of constructing extraordinary electromagnetic wave absorbents. | Heng DU Qipeng ZHANG Biao ZHAO Frank MARKEN Qiancheng GAO Hongxia LU Li GUAN Hailong WANG Gang SHAO Hongliang XU Rui ZHANG Bingbing FAN | 2021 | Journal of Advanced Ceramics2021,10,5: | 4
Effect of intraoperative fluid administration on perioperative outcomes in patients undergoing McKeown esophagogastrectomy显示文摘Objective: Fluid therapy is one of the key components of perioperative management. However, evidence of intraoperative fluid(IOF) administration affecting clinical outcomes following McKeown esophagogastrectomy remains limited. This study investigated the impact of IOF on clinical outcomes after McKeown esophagogastrectomy. Methods: Patients who underwent McKeown esophagogastrectomy between July 2013 and July 2016 were identified. Preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative variables for each eligible patient were retrospectively collected from our electronic medical records and anesthetic records. IOF rates were determined and their relationships to postoperative clinical outcomes were compared. Results: A total of 546 patients were enrolled in the analysis. The median IOF rate was 8.87 mL/kg/h. We divided the patients into two groups: a low fluid volume group(LFVG <8.87 mL/kg/h, n=273) and a high fluid volume group(HFVG ≥8.87 mL/kg/h, n=273). No statistically significant differences in postoperative clinical outcomes were found between LFVG and HFVG either before or after propensity score matching. Conclusions: No effect of IOF administration on clinical outcomes in patients undergoing McKeown esophagogastrectomy was identified. Further high-quality studies examining the influence of IOF administration on clinical outcomes following McKeown esophagogastrectomy are still needed. | Hongliang Wu Wen Wang Gefei Zhao Qi Xue | 2019 | Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2019,31,5: | 3

A super pan-genomic landscape of rice显示文摘Pan-genomes from large natural populations can capture genetic diversity and reveal genomic complexity.Using de novo longread assembly,we generated a graph-based super pan-genome of rice consisting of a 251-accession panel comprising both cultivated and wild species of Asian and African rice. Our pan-genome reveals extensive structural variations(SVs)and gene presence/absence variations.Additionally, our pan-genome enables the accurate identification of nucleotide-binding leucine-rich repeat genes and characterization of their inter-and intraspecific diversity. Moreover,we uncovered grain weight-associated SVs which specify traits by affecting the expression of their nearby genes. We characterized genetic variants associated with submergence tolerance, seed shattering and plant architecture and found independent selection for a common set of genes that drove adaptation and domestication in Asian and African rice. This super pan-genome facilitates pinpointing of lineage-specific haplotypes for trait-associated genes and provides insights into the evolutionary events that have shaped the genomic architecture of various rice species. | Lianguang Shang Xiaoxia Li Huiying He Qiaoling Yuan Yanni Song Zhaoran Wei Hai Lin Min Hu Fengli Zhao Chao Zhang Yuhua Li Hongsheng Gao Tianyi Wang Xiangpei Liu Hong Zhang Ya Zhang Shuaimin Cao Xiaoman Yu Bintao Zhang Yong Zhang Yiqing Tan Mao Qin Cheng Ai Yingxue Yang Bin Zhang Zhiqiang Hu Hongru Wang Yang Lv Yuexing Wang Jie Ma Quan Wang Hongwei Lu Zhe Wu Shanlin Liu Zongyi Sun Hongliang Zhang Longbiao Guo Zichao Li Yongfeng Zhou Jiayang Li Zuofeng Zhu Guosheng Xiong Jue Ruan Qian Qian | 2022 | Cell Research2022,32,10: | 3
