| 1 | The discovery of Palaeoproterozoic volcanic rocks in the Bulunkuoler Group from the Tianshuihai Massif in Xinjiang of Northwest China and its geological significance显示文摘In the Dabudaer region of the Tianshuihai Massif (Xinjiang, Northwest China), metavolcanic rocks within the mainly meta-sedimentary Bulunkuoler Group are basalt, basaltic andesite, and rhyolite. In situ zircon U-Pb LA-ICP-MS dating on rhyolite magmatic zircons yielded an age of 2481±14 Ma, interpreted as the eruption age of the Bulunkuoler Group volcanic rocks. The basalt and basaltic andesite are low-Al tholeiite series and the rhyolite is low-Al calc-alkaline series. All of rocks are charac-terized by enrichment of LREE and LILE (Rb, Th and Ba), depletion of P, Nb, Ta and Ti, and absence of Eu anomalies. The εNd(t) of basalts ranges from 3.14 to 4.88 indicating a depleted mantle source. The trace element signatures show that these magmas experienced intense crustal contamination during their ascent. Direct evidence for crustal contamination is the xenocrystic zircons in the ryholite, with ages back to ca. 3300 Ma. The primitive-mantle normalized and Zr/Y-Zr diagrams for the basic volcanic rocks show that they formed in an intra-continental tectonic setting. | 2 | Anti-inflammatory and anti-thrombogenic effects of atorvastatin in acute ischemic stroke显示文摘Atorvastatin decreases inflammation and thrombogenesis in patients with carotid artery plaque. Atorvastatin is administered to lower lipid levels, but its anti-inflammatory and anti-thrombogenic effects remain unclear. Eighty-nine patients from northeastern China with acute ischemic stroke caused by large-artery atherosclerosis were randomly divided into the study and control groups. All patients received routine treatment, including antiplatelet therapy, circulatory support, and symp-tomatic treatment. The study group (n=43) also received daily atorvastatin 20 mg/d, and the control group (n=46) received daily placebo pills containing glucose. After 4 weeks, the levels of C-reactive protein, fibrinogen, and D-dimer were significantly lower in the study group than in the control group. Decreases in the levels of C-reactive protein, fibrinogen, and D-dimer were not associated with de-creases in the levels of triacylglycerol and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol. | 3 | Correlation between tongue manifestations and glucose, total cholesterol, and high-density lipoprotein cholesterol in patients with acute cerebral infarction显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To analyze the association between tongue manifestations and the levels of glucose (GLU), total cholesterol(TCH), and high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C) in subjects with acute cerebral infarction.METHODS: Hospitalized patients with first unilateral cerebral infarction in the Neurological Department of Xuanwu Hospital were included and the correlation between tongue fur color, fur nature,and the levels of GLU,TCH, HDL-C were analyzed.RESULTS: HDL level in the thin fur group was higher than that in the thick fur group(P=0.02). The difference in the levels of GLU,TCH, and HDL-C among the groups was significant(P<0.05), classified in terms of slippery, moist, and dry fur. Further comparison between the groups by Student-Newman-Keuls test showed that GLU level in the dry fur group was the highest. | 4 | Bavachin enhances NLRP3 inflammasome activation induced by ATP or nigericin and causes idiosyncratic hepatotoxicity显示文摘Psoraleae Fructus(PF)is a well-known traditional herbal medicine in China,and it is widely used for osteoporosis,vitiligo,and other diseases in clinical settings.However,liver injury caused by PF and its preparations has been frequently reported in recent years.Our previous studies have demonstrated that PF could cause idiosyncratic drug-induced liver injury(IDILI),but the mechanism underlying its hepatotoxicity remains unclear.This paper reports that bavachin isolated from PF enhances the specific stimuli-induced activation of the NLRP3 inflammasome and leads to hepatotoxicity.Bavachin boosts the secretion of IL-ip and caspase-1 caused by ATP or nigericin but not those induced by poly(I:C),monosodium urate crystal,or intracellular lipopolysaccharide.Bavachin does not affect AIM2 or NLRC4 inflammasome activation.Mechanistically,bavachin specifically increases the production of nigericin-induced mitochondrial reactive oxygen species among the most important upstream events in the activation of the NLRP3 inflammasome.Bavachin increases the levels of aspartate transaminase and alanine aminotransferase in serum and hepatocyte injury accompanied by the secretion of IL-ip via a mouse model of lipopolysaccharide-mediated susceptibility to IDILI.These results suggest that bavachin specifically enhances the ATP-or nigericin-induced activation of the NLRP3 inflammasome.Bavachin also potentially contributes to PF-induced idiosyncratic hepatotoxicity.Moreover,bavachin and PF should be evaded among patients with diseases linked to the ATP-or nigericin-mediated activation of the NLRP3 inflammasome,which may be a dangerous factor for liver injury. | Nan Qin Guang Xu Yan Wang Xiaoyan Zhan Yuan Gao Zhilei Wang Shubin Fu Wei Shi Xiaorong Hou Chunyu Wang Ruisheng Li Yan Liu Jiabo Wang Haiping Zhao Xiaohe Xiao Zhaofang Bai | 2021 | Frontiers of Medicine2021,15,4: | 9 |
| 5 | Pathologic analysis on hyperplasia of mammary gland with different syndromes based on infrared radiation temperature of acupoints显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To explore the pathologic characteristics of hyperplasia of the mammary gland(HMG) by observing differences in infrared radiation temperature of points of HMG in patients with different syndromes compared with healthy controls.METHODS:AFLIRSystems Therma CAM P30 infrared thermal camera was used to detect the infrared temperature of Shanzhong(CV 17),Qimen(LR 14),Zhongwan(CV 12),Qihai(CV 6),Guanyuan(CV 4),Taixi(KI 3),and Taichong(LR 3) in 113 patients with HMG.Of these patients,71 were placed in the Liver Qi stagnation group,34 were placed in the Dysfunction of conception and thoroughfare vessels group,and 8 were placed in the Phlegm and blood stasis in combination group.The infrared radiation temperature of each point in the patients was compared with that of healthy controls,and the differences in the infrared radiation temperatures of the points in the patients were analyzed.RESULTS:Overall,the bilateral corresponding point in both the controls and patients exhibited no significant difference in infrared radiation temperature.In all cases,the infrared radiation temperature of the points from proximal to distal tended to decrease.In a comparison of the patients and controls,the infrared radiation temperature of the trunk points Shanzhong(CV 17),Qimen(LR 14),Zhongwan(CV12),Qihai(CV6),and Guanyuan(CV 4) of the patients was higher than that of the controls,while the infrared radiation temperature of the lower extremity points Taixi(KI 3) and Taichong(LR 3) was lower than that of the controls.Of these points,Shanzhong(CV 17)(P=0.0368),Zhongwan(CV 12)(P=0.0028),Qihai(CV 6)(P=0.0085),and Guanyuan(CV4)(P=0.0018) showed significant differences.In a comparison of the corresponding point on the same side in the Liver Qi stagnation group and controls,the infrared radiation temperature of Shanzhong(CV17)(P=0.0089),right-side Qimen(LR 14)(P=0.0382),Zhongwan(CV 12)(P= 0.0000),Qihai(CV 6)(P=0.0011),and Guanyuan(CV 4)(P=0.0000) of the patients was significantly higher than that of the controls,while the differences in the infrared radiation temperature of the other points were not statistically significant(P= 0.0833-0.8397).In a comparison of the corresponding point on the same side in the Dysfunction of conception and thoroughfare vessels group and controls,the infrared radiation temperature of left-side Taichong(LR 3)(P=0.0048),right-side Taichong(LR 3)(P=0.0329),left-side Taixi(KI 3)(P= 0.0171),and right-side Taixi(KI 3)(t=0.544,P= 0.0165) of the patients was significantly lower than that of the controls,while the differences in the infrared radiation temperature of the other points were not statistically significant(P=0.3793-0.9197).In a comparison of the corresponding point on the same side in the Phlegm and blood stasis in combination group and controls,the infrared radiation temperature of Shanzhong(CV 17),Qimen(LR 14),Qihai(CV 6),Guanyuan(CV 4),Taixi(KI 3),Taichong(LR 3),and Zhongwan(CV 12) tended to increase,but without statistical significance(P=0.175-.759).CONCLUSION:The corresponding points of HMG patients with different syndromes are in different deficiency/excess states.Changes in the infrared radiation temperature of the trunk points Shanzhong(CV 17),Qimen(LR 14),Zhongwan(CV 12),Qihai(CV 6),and Guanyuan(CV 4) are closely related to the pathological characteristics of the Liver Qi stagnation syndrome of HMG patients,while changes in the infrared radiation temperature of the lower extremity points Taixi(KI 3) and Taichong(LR 3) are closely related to the pathological characteristics of the Dysfunction of conception and thoroughfare vessels syndrome of HMG patients.On the whole,HMG patients with Liver Qi stagnation syndrome are characterized by 'upper excess,' and those with Dysfunction of conception and thoroughfare vessels syndrome are characterized by'lowerdeficiency.' | Yafang Wang Xueyong Shen Jian Ying Juanjuan Zheng Shengfang Hu Ling Zhao Haiping Deng HaimengZhang | 2012 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2012,32,3: | 9 |

| 14 | Pollination ecology in China from 1977 to 2017显示文摘China is one of most biodiverse countries in the world, containing at least 10% of all angiosperm species.Therefore, we should anticipate a diverse, pollinator fauna. China also has a long history of applied ethnobiology, including a sustainable agriculture based on apiculture and plant-pollinator interactions.However, the science of pollination ecology is a far younger sub-discipline in China, compared to in the West. Chinese studies in pollination ecology began in the 1970 s. For this review, we compiled a complete reference database(>600 publications) of pollination studies in China. Using this database, we identified and analyzed gaps and limitations in research on the pollination systems of native and naturalized species. Specifically, we asked the following questions: 1) What do we know about the pollination systems of native, Chinese species? 2) How does Chinese pollination ecology compare with the development of pollination research abroad and which aspects of research should be pursued by Chinese anthecologists in the near future? 3) What research on pollination in China will advance our understanding and contribute to our ongoing analyses of endemism and conservation? Subsequently, we segregated and identified prospective lines of future research that are unique to China and can only be done in China. In the present study, the enzymolysis conditions, extraction solvent and extraction conditions employed to obtain sulforaphene from radish were all optimized using single factor experiments and orthogonal testing. During these trials, sulforaphene was separated and quantified using reverse phase C18 high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC), employing methanol︰water(3︰7 ν/ν) as the mobile phase at a flow rate of 0.3 mL · min-1 together with a detection wavelength of 245 nm. Evaluation of this newly established method showed good linearity between the sulforaphene concentration and the characteristic peak area over the range of 5 to 200 μg· m L-1(R2 = 0.9996). This method was thus found to be precise. It was established that sulforaphene was extracted from radish with 95.48% efficiency(RSD = 0.94%) using the optimized conditions. This paper carries out a numerical simulation of magnetic pressure under the influence of die by means of finite element method. The analysis model of electromagnetic bulging with die is created by using ANSYS, and the distribution of magnetic pressure acting on the tube and the die is obtained. The differences between EMF and other technologies and the effect of die on tube formability are analyzed. The die has important influence upon the calculation accuracy. The simulating conclusions with different discharge energy and current frequency are verified through the technologic tests.
