| 1 | Enhanced control of DFIG-used back-to-back PWM VSC under unbalanced grid voltage conditions显示文摘This paper presents a unified positive-and negative-sequence dual-dq dynamic model of wind-turbine driven doubly-fed induction generator(DFIG) under unbalanced grid voltage conditions. Strategies for enhanced control and operation of a DFIG-used back-to-back(BTB) PWM voltage source converter(VSC) are proposed. The modified control design for the grid-side converter in the stationary αβ frames diminishes the amplitude of DC-link voltage ripples of twice the grid frequency,and the two proposed control targets for the rotor-side converter are alternatively achieved,which,as a result,improve the fault-ride through(FRT) capability of the DFIG based wind power generation systems during unbalanced network supply. A complete unbalanced control scheme with both grid-and rotor-side converters included is designed. | 6 | Efficient catalytic conversion of carbohydrates into 5-ethoxymethylfurfural over MIL-101-based sulfated porous coordination polymers显示文摘In this work, a series of MIL-101-SO3H(x) polymeric materials were prepared and further used for the first time as efficient heterogeneous catalysts for the conversion of fructose-based carbohydrates into 5-ethoxymethylfurfural(EMF) in a renewable mixed solvent system consisting of ethanol and tetrahydrofuran(THF). The influence of –SO3H content on the acidity as well as on the catalytic activity of the porous coordination polymers in EMF production was also studied. High EMF yields of 67.7% and 54.2% could be successively obtained from fructose and inulin in the presence of MIL-101-SO_3H(100) at 130 °C for 15 h.The catalyst could be reused for five times without significant loss of its activity and the recovery process was facile and simple. | 8 | Clinical characteristics and risk factors for liver injury in COVID-19 patients in Wuhan显示文摘BACKGROUND Coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)has become a worldwide pandemic.We investigated the clinical characteristics and risk factors for liver injury in COVID-19 patients in Wuhan by retrospectively analyzing the epidemiological,clinical,and laboratory data for 218 COVID-19 patients and identifying the risk factors for liver injury by multivariate analysis.AIM To investigate the clinical characteristics and risk factors for liver injury in COVID-19 patients in Wuhan.METHODS The 218 patients included 94 males(43.1%),aged 22 to 94(50.1±18.4)years.Elevated aspartate aminotransferase(AST)and alanine aminotransferase(ALT)were present in 42(53.2%)and 36(45.6%)cases,respectively,and 79(36.2%)patients had abnormally elevated transaminase levels at admission.Patients with liver injury were older than those with normal liver function by a median of 12 years,with a significantly higher frequency of males(68.4%vs 28.8%,P<0.001)and more coexisting illnesses(48.1%vs 27.3%,P=0.002).Significantly more patients had fever and shortness of breath(87.3%vs 69.8%and 29.1%vs 14.4%,respectively)in the liver injury group.Only 12(15.2%)patients had elevated total bilirubin.ALT and AST levels were mildly elevated[1-3×upper limit of normal(ULN)]in 86.1%and 92.9%of cases,respectively.Only two(2.5%)patients had an ALT or AST level>5×ULN.Elevatedγ-glutamyl transpeptidase was present in 45(57.0%)patients,and 86.7%of these had aγ-glutamyl-transpeptidase level<135 U/L(3×ULN).Serum alkaline phosphatase levels were almost normal in all patients.Patients with severe liver injury had a significantly higher frequency of abnormal transaminases than non-severe patients,but only one case had very high levels of aminotransferases.RESULTS Multivariate analysis revealed that male sex,high D-dimer level,and high neutrophil percentage were linked to a higher risk of liver injury.The early stage of COVID-19 may be associated with mildly elevated aminotransferase levels in patients in Wuhan.Male sex and high D-dimer level and neutrophil percentage may be important predictors of liver injury in patients with COVID-19.CONCLUSION Male sex and high D-dimer level and neutrophil percentage may be important predictors of liver injury in patients with COVID-19. | Hu Zhang Yu-Sheng Liao Jing Gong Jing Liu Heng Zhang | 2020 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2020,26,31: | 6 |
| 9 | Meteorological applications of precipitable water vapor measurements retrieved by the national GNSS network of China显示文摘In this study, the Global Navigation Satellite System(GNSS) network of China is discussed,which can be used to monitor atmospheric precipitable water vapor(PWV). By the end of2013, the network had 952 GNSS sites, including 260 belonging to the Crustal Movement Observation Network of China(CMONOC) and 692 belonging to the China Meteorological Administration GNSS network(CMAGN). Additionally, GNSS observation collecting and data processing procedures are presented and PWV data quality control methods are investigated. PWV levels as determined by GNSS and radiosonde are compared. The results show that GNSS estimates are generally in good agreement with measurements of radiosondes and water vapor radiometers(WVR). | 11 | Alda-1 treatment promotes the therapeutic effect of mitochondrial transplantation for myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury显示文摘Mitochondrial damage is a critical driver in myocardial ischemia-reperfusion(I/R)injury and can be alleviated via the mitochondrial transplantation.The efficiency of mitochondrial transplantation is determined by mitochondrial vitality.Because aldehyde dehydrogenase 2(ALDH2)has a key role in regulating mitochondrial homeostasis,we aimed to investigate its potential therapeutic effects on mitochondrial transplantation via the use of ALDH2 activator,Alda-1.Our present study demonstrated that time-dependent internalization of exogenous mitochondria by cardiomyocytes along with ATP production were significantly increased in response to mitochondrial transplantation.Furthermore,Alda-1 treatment remarkably promoted the oxygen consumption rate and baseline mechanical function of cardiomyocytes caused by mitochondrial transplantation.Mitochondrial transplantation inhibited cardiomyocyte apoptosis induced by the hypoxia-reoxygenation exposure,independent of Alda-1 treatment.However,promotion of the mechanical function of cardiomyocytes exposed to hypoxia-reoxygenation treatment was only observed after mitochondrial Alda-1 treatment and transplantation.By using a myocardial I/R mouse model,our results revealed that transplantation of Alda-1-treated mitochondria into mouse myocardial tissues limited the infarction size after I/R injury,which was at least in part due to increased mitochondrial potential-mediated fusion.In conclusion,ALDH2 activation in mitochondrial transplantation shows great potential for the treatment of myocardial I/R injury. | Xiaolei Sun Rifeng Gao Wenjia Li Yongchao Zhao Heng Yang Hang Chen Hao Jiang Zhen Dong Jingjing Hu Jin Liu Yunzeng Zou Aijun Sun Junbo Ge | 2021 | Bioactive Materials2021,6,7: | 5 |
| 12 | Effect of side deep placement of nitrogen on yield and nitrogen use efficiency of single season late japonica rice显示文摘Side deep placement of nitrogen plays an important role in improving rice yield and nitrogen use efficiency.Few studies have examined the effects of reducing the times of nitrogen(RTN)application and reducing the nitrogen rate(RNR)of application on rice yield and nitrogen use efficiency under side deep placement of nitrogen in paddy fields.Therefore,a field experiment of RNT and RNR treatments was conducted with nine fertilization modes during the 2018–2019 rice growing seasons in a rice–wheat cropping system of the lower reaches of the Yangtze River,China.Rice yield and nitrogen use efficiency were investigated under side deep placement of nitrogen.We found that under the same nitrogen application rate,the yield of RTN3 increased by 9.64 and 10.18%in rice varieties NJ9108 and NJ5718,respectively,compared with the farmers’fertilizer practices(FFP).The nitrogen accumulation of RTN3 was the highest at heading stage,at 11.30 t ha^(–1)across 2018 and 2019.Under the same nitrogen application rate,the N agronomic use efficiency(NAE),N physiological efficiency(NPE)and N recovery efficiency(NRE)of RTN3 were 8.1–21.28%,8.51–41.76%and 0.28–14.52%higher than those of the other fertilization modes,respectively.RNR led to decreases in SPAD value,leaf area index(LAI),dry matter accumulation,nitrogen accumulation,and nitrogen use efficiency.These results suggest that RTN3 increased rice yield and nitrogen use efficiency under the side deep placement of nitrogen,and RNR1 could achieve the goals of saving cost and increasing resource use efficiency.Two fertilization modes RTN3 and RNR1 both could achieve the dual goals of increasing grain yield and resource use efficiency and thus are worth further application and investigation. | ZHAO Can HUANG Heng QIAN Zi-hui JIANG Heng-xin LIU Guang-ming XU Ke HU Ya-jie DAI Qigen HUO Zhong-yang | 2021 | Journal of Integrative Agriculture2021,20,6: | 5 |
| 13 | The heterogeneity of islet autoantibodies and the progression of islet failure in type 1 diabetic patients显示文摘Type 1 diabetes mellitus is heterogeneous in many facets. The patients suffered from type 1 diabetes present several levels of islet function as well as variable number and type of islet-specific autoantibodies. This study was to investigate prevalence and heterogeneity of the islet autoantibodies and clinical phenotypes of type 1 diabetes mellitus; and also discussed the process of islet failure and its risk factors in Chinese type 1 diabetic patients. A total of 1,291 type 1 diabetic patients were enrolled in this study. Demographic information was collected. Laboratory tests including mixed-meal tolerance test, human leukocyte antigen alleles, hemoglobin A1 c, lipids, thyroid function and islet autoantibodies were conducted. The frequency of islet-specific autoantibody in newly diagnosed T1 DM patients(duration shorter than half year) was 73% in East China. According to binary logistic regressions, autoantibody positivity, longer duration and lower Body Mass Index were the risk factors of islet failure. As the disease developed, autoantibodies against glutamic acid decarboxylase declined as well as the other two autoantibodies against zinc transporter 8 and islet antigen 2. The decrease of autoantibodies was positively correlated with aggressive beta cell destruction. Autoantibodies can facilitate the identification of classic T1 DM from other subtypes and predict the progression of islet failure. | 16 | Improvement in affinity and thermostability of a fully human antibody against interleukin-17A by yeast-display technology and CDR grafting显示文摘Monoclonal antibodies(m Abs) are widely used in many fields due to their high specificity and ability to recognize a broad range of antigens. IL-17 A can induce a rapid inflammatory response both alone and synergistically with other proinflammatory cytokines. Accumulating evidence suggests that therapeutic intervention of IL-17 A signaling offers an attractive treatment option for autoimmune diseases and cancer. Here, we present a combinatorial approach for optimizing the affinity and thermostability of a novel anti-h IL-17 A antibody. From a large na?ve phage-displayed library, we isolated the anti-IL-17 A m Ab 7 H9 that can neutralize the effects of recombinant human IL-17 A. However, the modest neutralization potency and poor thermostability limit its therapeutic applications. In vitro affinity optimization was then used to generate 8 D3 by using yeast-displayed random mutagenesis libraries.This resulted in four key amino acid changes and provided an approximately 15-fold potency increase in a cell-based neutralization assay. Complementarity-determining regions(CDRs) of 8 D3 were further grafted onto the stable framework of the hu Fv 4 D5 to improve thermostability. The resulting hybrid antibody9 NT/S has superior stabilization and affinities beyond its original antibody. Human fibrosarcoma cellbased assays and in vivo analyses in mice indicated that the anti-IL-17 A antibody 9 NT/S efficiently inhibited the secretion of IL-17 A-induced proinflammatory cytokines. | 18 | Diagnostic and Prognostic Value of Plasma Factor V Activity and Parameters in Thrombin Generation for Disseminated Intravascular Coagulation in Patients with Hematological Malignancies显示文摘In this study,we used plasma factor V activity and parameters of the thrombin generation test to discuss their diagnostic and prognostic value for disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC) in patients with hematological malignancies.A total of 164 patients who were diagnosed with hematological malignancies in the Department of Hematology,Union Hospital,between Apr 2014 and Dec.2014 were enrolled in this study.There were 131 patients in the study group and 33 patients in the control group in terms of the laboratory results for DIC.The patients in the study group were divided into a DIC subgroup (n=59) and a non-DIC subgroup (n=72) based on the International Society of Thrombosis and Hemostasis (ISTH) Integral System,and they were divided into four subgroups [score ≤3 (n=35),score=4 (n=37),score=5 (n=47),and score >6 (n=12)] according to ISTH scores.Using 28-day mortality as the endpoint,the patients in the study group were divided into a survival subgroup (n=111) and a non-survival subgroup (n=20).The results showed that the plasma factor V activity was significantly weaker,and lag time and time to peak were significantly shorter in the study group than in the control group (P<0.01).The factor V activity,peak and endogenous thrombin potential (ETP) were significantly decreased in the DIC subgroup as compared with those in the non-DIC subgroup (P<0.01).Among factor V activity,lag time,peak,ETP,and ttPeak,only the factor V activity was significantly decreased in the nonsurvival subgroup compared with the survival subgroup (P<0.01).With the increase in ISTH score,the ETP and peak decreased gradually.The binary logistic regression analysis revealed that PLT,D-dimer,factor V activity and ETP had linear relationship with DIC diagnosed by ISTH Integral System.Using DIC diagnosed by ISTH Integral System as the endpoint,the area under curve (AUC) of factor V activity was found to be similar to that of blood platelet count (PLT) and prothrombin time (PT).In conclusion,factor V activity,ETP and peak had diagnostic value for DIC in patients with hematological malignancies,and only factor V activity had limited prognostic value. | Hai-ming K0U Xiao-ping ZHANG Man-zhi WANG Jun DENG Heng MEI Yu HU | 2019 | Current Medical Science2019,39,4: | 3 |
