Coupling mechanism of roof and supporting wall in gob-side entry retaining in fully-mechanized mining with gangue backfilling显示文摘We analyzed the deformation characteristics of overlying stratum in backfilling with fully-mechanized and retaining roadways along the gob area coal mining technology, and established a mechanical model for the roof key stratum of retaining roadways along gob under the conditions of backfilling and fully- mechanized coal mining technology. Using Winkler elastic foundation theory, we analyzed a part of the key stratum under the action of elastic foundation coupling problem, and derived deflection analyt- ical expressions. Combined with specific conditions, we obtained the deflection curves for the roof key stratum of retaining roadways along gob under the conditions of backfilling and fully-mechanized coal mining technology. On this basis, we adopted the Coulomb's earth pressure theory to solve the problem of lateral pressure of the gangue filling area on the supporting wall beside the roadway and to provide the theoretical basis for reasonable selection of the distance between gangue concrete wall and roof and fur- ther discussion on the supporting stability of roadway.Ma Zhanguo Gong Peng Fan Jinquan Geng Minmin Zhang Guowei 2011Mining Science and Technology2011,21,6:15
Diverse roles of SERK family genes in plant growth, development and defense response.显示文摘Plant receptor-like protein kinases(RLKs) are transmembrane proteins with an extracellular domain and an intracellular kinase domain, which enable plant perceiving diverse extracellular stimuli to trigger the intracellular signal transduction. The somatic embryogenesis receptor kinases(SERKs) code the leucine-rich-repeat receptor-like kinase(LRR-RLK), and have been demonstrated to associate with multiple ligand-binding receptors to regulate plant growth, root development, male fertility, stomatal development and movement, and immune responses. Here, we focus on the progress made in recent years in understanding the versatile functions of Arabidopsis SERK proteins, and review SERK proteins as co-receptor to perceive different endogenous and environmental cues in different signaling pathway, and discuss how the kinase activity of SERKs is regulated by various modification.Min Fan Minmin Wang Ming-Yi Bai 2016Science China(Life Sciences)2016,59,9:7
The heterogeneity of islet autoantibodies and the progression of islet failure in type 1 diabetic patients显示文摘Type 1 diabetes mellitus is heterogeneous in many facets. The patients suffered from type 1 diabetes present several levels of islet function as well as variable number and type of islet-specific autoantibodies. This study was to investigate prevalence and heterogeneity of the islet autoantibodies and clinical phenotypes of type 1 diabetes mellitus; and also discussed the process of islet failure and its risk factors in Chinese type 1 diabetic patients. A total of 1,291 type 1 diabetic patients were enrolled in this study. Demographic information was collected. Laboratory tests including mixed-meal tolerance test, human leukocyte antigen alleles, hemoglobin A1 c, lipids, thyroid function and islet autoantibodies were conducted. The frequency of islet-specific autoantibody in newly diagnosed T1 DM patients(duration shorter than half year) was 73% in East China. According to binary logistic regressions, autoantibody positivity, longer duration and lower Body Mass Index were the risk factors of islet failure. As the disease developed, autoantibodies against glutamic acid decarboxylase declined as well as the other two autoantibodies against zinc transporter 8 and islet antigen 2. The decrease of autoantibodies was positively correlated with aggressive beta cell destruction. Autoantibodies can facilitate the identification of classic T1 DM from other subtypes and predict the progression of islet failure. As there were obvious heterogeneity in autoantibodies and clinical manifestation in different phenotypes of the disease, we should take more factors into consideration when identifying type 1 diabetes mellitus.Jin Liu Lingling Bian Li Ji Yang Chen Heng Chen Yong Gu Bingqin Ma Wei Gu Xinyu Xu Yun Shi Jian Wang Dalong Zhu Zilin Sun Jianhua Ma Hui Jin Xing Shi Heng Miao Bing Xin Yan Zhu Zhenwen Zhang Ruifang Bu Lan Xu Guangde Shi Wei Tang Wei Li Dongmei Zhou Jun Liang Xingbo Cheng Bimin Shi Jixiang Dong Ji Hu Chen Fang Shao Zhong Weinan Yu Weiping Lu Chenguang Wu Li Qian Jiancheng Yu Jialin Gao Xiaoqiang Fei Qingqing Zhang Xueqin Wang Shiwei Cui Jinluo Cheng Ning Xu Guofeng Wang Guoqing Han Chunrong Xu Yun Xie Minmin An Wei Zhang Zhixiao Wang Yun Cai Qi Fu Yu Fu Shuai Zheng Fan Yang Qingfang Hu Hao Dai Yu Jin Zheng Zhang Kuanfeng Xu Yifan Li Jie Shen Hongwen Zhou Wei He Xuqin Zheng Xiao Han Liping Yu Jinxiong She Mei Zhang Tao Yang 2016Science China(Life Sciences)2016,59,9:5
Bioengineered magnetoferritin nanozymes for pathological identification of high-risk and ruptured atherosclerotic plaques in humans显示文摘Atherosclerotic plaque rupture results in thrombus formation and vessel occlusion, and is the leading cause of death worldwide. There is a pressi ng need to identify plaque vuln erability for the treatment of carotid and coronary artery diseases. Nano materials with en zyme-like properties have attracted significant interest by providing biological, diagnostic and prognostic information about the diseases. Here we showed that bioe ngin eered mag netoferritin nan oparticles (M-HFn NPs) functionally mimic peroxidase en zyme and can intrin sically recog nize plaque-infiltrated active macrophages, which drive atherosclerotic plaque progression and rupture and are significantly associated with the plaque vulnerability. The M-HFn nanozymes catalyze the oxidation of colorimetric substrates to give a color reaction that visualizes the recognized active macrophages for one-step pathological identification of plaque vulnerability. We examined 50 carotid endarterectomy specimens from patients with symptomatic carotid disease and demonstrated that the M-HFn nanozymes could distinguish active macrophage infiltration in ruptured and high-risk plaque tissues, and M-HFn staining displayed a significant correlation with plaque vulnerability (r= 0.89, P< 0.0001).Tao Wang Jiuyang He Demin Duan Bing Jiang Peixia Wang Kelong Fan Minmin Liang Xiyun Yan 2019Nano Research2019,12,4:1

Black phosphorus quantum dots as multifunctional nanozymes for tumor photothermal/catalytic synergistic therapy显示文摘Nanozymes are nanomaterials with enzyme-like properties that have attracted significant interest owing to their high stability, easy preparation, and tunable catalytic properties, especially in the field of cancer therapy. However, the unfavorable catalytic effects of nanozymes in the acidic tumor microenvironment have limited their applications.Herein,we developed a biomimetic erythrocyte membrane-camouflaged ultrasmall black phosphorus quantum dots(BPQDs)nanozymes that simultaneously exhibited an exceptional near-infrared(NIR)photothermal property and dramatically photothermal-enhanced glucose oxidase(GOx)-like activity in the acidic tumor microenvironment. We demonstrated the engineered BPQDs gave a photothermal conversion efficiency of 28.9%that could rapidly heat the tumor up to 50℃ while effectively localized into tumors via homing peptide iRGD leading after intravenously injection.Meanwhile, the significantly enhanced GOx-like activity of BPQDs under NIR irradiation was capable of catalytical generating massive toxic reactive oxygen species via using cellular glucose.By combining the intrinsic photothermal property and the unique photothermal-enhanced GOx-like catalytic activity, the developed BPQDs were demonstrated to be an effective therapeutic strategy for inhibiting tumor growth in vivo.We believe that this work will provide a novel perspective for the development of nanozymes in tumor catalytic therapy.Hui Ding Daji Wang Haibing Huang Xiaozhu Chen Jie Wang Jinjie Sun Jianlin Zhang Lu Lu Beiping Miao Yanjuan Cai Kelong Fan Yongtian Lu Hongsong Dong Xiyun Yan Guohui Nie Minmin Liang 2022Nano Research2022,15,2:1

Mechanical and Permeability Analysis and Optimization of Recycled Aggregate Pervious Concrete Based on Response Surface Method显示文摘In this paper, the effects of different influencing factors and factor interaction on the compressive strength and permeability of recycled aggregate pervious concrete(RAPC)were studied based on the response surface method(RSM).By selecting the maximum aggregate size, water cement ratio and target porosity as design variables, combined with laboratory tests and numerical analysis, the influences of three factors on the compressive strength and permeability coefficient of RAPC were revealed. The regression equation of compressive strength and permeability coefficient of recycled aggregate pervious concrete were established based on RSM,and the response surface model was optimized to determine the optimal ratio of RAPC under the conditions of meeting the mechanical and permeability properties. The results show that the mismatch item of the model is not significant, the model is credible, and the accuracy and reliability of the test are high, but the degree of uncorrelation between the test data and the model is not obvious. The sensitivity of the three factors to the compressive strength is water cement ratio>maximum coarse aggregate particle size>target porosity, and the sensitivity to the permeability coefficient is target porosity>maximum coarse aggregate particle size>water cement ratio. The absolute errors of the model prediction results and the model optimization results are 1.28 MPa and 0.19 mm/s,and the relative errors are 5.06%and 4.19%,respectively.With high accuracy,RSM can match the measured results of compressive strength and permeability coefficient of RAPC.Fan Li Xin Cai Yanan Zhang Xingwen Guo Minmin Jiang 2023Journal of Renewable Materials2023,11,4:0
Highly expressed SERCA2 triggers tumor cell autophagy and is a druggable vulnerability in triple-negative breast cancer显示文摘Chemoresistance remains a major obstacle to successful treatment of triple negative breast cancer(TNBC).Identification of druggable vulnerabilities is an important aim for TNBC therapy. Here,we report that SERCA2 expression correlates with TNBC progression in human patients, which promotes TNBC cell proliferation, migration and chemoresistance.Mechanistically,SERCA2 interacts with LC3B via LIR motif, facilitating WIPI2-independent autophagosome formation to induce autophagy.Autophagy-mediated SERCA2 degradation induces SERCA2 transactivation through a Ca^(2+)/CaMKK/CREB-1 feedback. Moreover,we found that SERCA2-targeting small molecule RL71 enhances SERCA2-LC3B interaction and induces excessive autophagic cell death. The increase in SERCA2 expression predisposes TNBC cells to RL71-induced autophagic cell death in vitro and in vivo. This study elucidates a mechanism by which TNBC cells maintain their high autophagy activity to induce chemoresistance, and suggests increased SERCA2 expression as a druggable vulnerability for TNBC.Minmin Fan Jian Gao Lin Zhou Wenwen Xue Yixuan Wang Jingwei Chen Wuhao Li Ying Yu Bo Liu Yan Shen Qiang Xu 2022Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2022,12,12:0
Record of a juvenile Omura's whale live stranded in Hainan Island:Evidence of a potential breeding ground in the South China Sea?显示文摘On January 12,2011,a very young juvenile Bryde's-like baleen whale was found stranded alive on the east coast of Hainan Island,in the South China Sea.Unfortunately,it died the next morning. This baleen whale showed some unique external morphology and skull features of the Omura's whale(Balaenoptera omurai).Subsequently,it was genetically identified as an Omura's whale using two different mitochondrial DNA markers. This study documents the first confirmed live stranding of a juvenile Omura's whale on Hainan Island,China. Our findings expand the known distribution range of this species in Chinese waters and may indicate that waters around Hainan Island in the South China Sea could be a potential breeding ground for the Omura's whale.Ruilin He Xiaoling Wan Minmin Chen Fei Fan Ding Wang Jinsong Zheng 2022Water Biology and Security2022,1,3:0
