1Analytical method for softness abrasive flow field based on discrete phase model显示文摘Aiming at the problem of difficult contact finishing for mini structural surface in course of mould manufacturing,a new no-tool precision machining method based on soft abrasive flow machining (SAFM) was proposed. It allocated restrained component near surface machined,constituted restrained abrasive flow passage,and made the surface become a segment of passage wall. It could control turbulence abrasive flow in restrained passage,realize micro cutting for passage wall,and utilize the irregular motion of abrasive flow to eliminate the mono-directional marks on machined surfaces,and the precision could reach the specular level. A two-phase dynamic model of abrasive flow oriented to SAFM combined with discrete phase model (DPM) was established,the law of two-phase flow motion and the related physical parameters was obtained by corresponding numerical simulation method,and the mechanism of precision machining in SAFM was discussed. Simulation results show that the abrasive flow machining process mainly appears as translation of ablating location with the influence by granular pressure,and as the variation of machining efficiency with the influence by near-wall particle velocity. Thus via control of the inlet velocity and its corresponding machining time,it is supposed to work out the machining process according to the machining requirements by using the Preston equation to seek the relationship among velocity,pressure and material removing rate. By tracking near-wall particles,it can be confirmed that the movement of near-wall abrasive particles is similar to stream-wise vortices. 3Flow structures in flat plate boundary layer induced by pulsed plasma actuator显示文摘The flow field in the flat plate boundary layer induced by the pulsed plasma actuator was simulated by solving the Navier-Stokes equations with a phenomenological DBD plasma model. The effects of actuation strength,wave form and frequency on the flow structures induced by the unsteady pulsed plasma actuator were investigated. The results indicated that a series of vortex pairs were formed in the boundary layer,and decayed in downstream convection following the exponential law. The strength of vortex pair was dominated by the effective plasma actuation strength,and the vortex streamwise spacing depended on the actuation frequency. 4New insights into the species problem显示文摘Historical opinions of the 'species problem' are briefly reviewed, and four salient stages are recognized according to origin of species concepts. We propose that species is the unit preserving superior gene assembly and is maintained by specific mechanisms. 5Expression and function of heregulin-α and its receptors in the mouse mammary gland显示文摘Heregulin-α (HRGα) is a cytokine secreted by the mammary mesenchyme, adjacent to lobuloalveolar structures. To understand the role of HRGα and its receptors in mammary glands, and the underlying mechanisms, we performed this study to determine the expression and localization of HRGα and its receptors ErbB2 and ErbB3. We also determined the role of HRGα in the development of mammary glands, β-casein expression and secretion, Rab3A protein expression and the phosphorylation of HRGα signaling molecules using confocal laser scanning microscopy, tissue culture, capillary electrophoresis, Western blotting and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays. We found that a peak was on pregnancy day 15. Changes of ErbB2 and ErbB3 expression were positively and linearly correlated with HRGα, indicating that HRGα positively regulates ErbB2 and ErbB3 expression. During pregnancy, HRGα enhanced the phosphorylation of STAT5, p42/p44, p38, PKC and Rab3A protein expression, stimulated the proliferation and differentiation of the ductal epithelial cells of mammary glands, and increased and maintained the expression and secretion of β-casein. During lactation, HRGα enhanced the phosphorylation of STAT5 and p38, inhibited the phosphorylation of PKC and Rab3A protein expression, maintained the morphology of the mammary glands and increased the secretion of lactoprotein to reduce the expression of β-casein in mammary epithelial cells. During involution, HRGα induced the phosphorylation of STAT3 and Rab3A protein expression, and inhibited the phosphorylation of PKC to stimulate the degeneration of mammary epithelial cells. 6Simulation of nuclei morphologies for binary alloy显示文摘We study the critical nuclei morphologies of a binary alloy by the string method. The dynamic equation of the string, connecting the metastable phase (liquid) and stable phase (solid), is governed by Helmholtz free energy for the binary alloy system at a given temperature. The stationary string through the critical nucleus (saddle point) is obtained if the relaxation time of the string is su?ciently large. The critical nucleus radius and energy barrier to nucleation of a pure alloy with isotropic interface energy in two and three dimensions are calculated, which are consistent with the classical nucleation theory. The critical nuclei morphologies are sensitive to the anisotropy strength of interface energy and interface thickness of alloy in two and three dimensions. 7Experimental study on hydrodynamic effect of orientation micro-pored surfaces显示文摘The orientation of the dimple increases the flow distance in the dimple and produces fluid cumulative effect in the dimple length direction, which leads to obvious hydrodynamic effect as a result. In order to investigate the hydrodynamic effect of orientation dimples, a series of experiments was carried out on a ring-on-ring test. Multi-pored faces were tested with different dimple inclination angles and slender ratios. Film thickness and frictional torque were measured under different conditions of load and rotation speed. Experimental results showed that the orientation dimple could produce obvious dynamic effect by change of the flow direction and the increasing dimple orientation leads to increase of the load capability. The hydrodynamic effect strongly depends on dimple orientation parameters such as inclination angle and slender ratio. A larger load capability can be available by increasing dimple orientation and rotation speed. 8Research on theory and key technology of trusted computing platform security testing and evaluation显示文摘Trusted computing has become a new trend in the area of international information security, and the products of trusted computing platform begin to be used in application. Users will not use the products of information security, unless it goes through the testing and evaluation. Here we concentrate on the testing and evaluation problem of trusted computing platform, begin with constructing proper formalization model of trusted computing platform for testing, and establish a mathematical chain of trust model based on SPA. Moreover, we give a verification method of composite characteristics and find the potential factors threatening the trusted system in the process of remote attestation through analysis. For trusted software stack, we study the problem of automatic generation of test case and propose an improved method of generating the random test case, to raise the quality of test case. Finally, we give a prototype system of trusted computing platform and the actual test data related. The result demonstrates that there exist some flaws in the architecture of the present TCG computing platform. 10Understanding the endocrine disruption of chiral pesticides:The enantioselectivity in estrogenic activity of synthetic pyrethroids显示文摘Synthetic pyrethroids(SPs) ,a family of chiral insecticides consisting of multiple stereoismers,have been regarded as estrogenic endocrine-disrupting chemicals(EDCs) .In this study,we applied the yeast two-hybrid and molecular docking(MD) assay to assess the enantioselective estrogenic activities of three commonly used SPs,bifenthrin(cis-BF) ,permethrin(PM) and fenvalerate(Fen) .The β-galactosidase analyses indicated that all of the testing pyrethroids displayed significant(p<0.05) enantioselectivity.The results showed that the estrogenic potential of cis-BF was mainly attributed to 1S-cis-BF.Neither PM nor Fen showed estrogenic effects.However,two stereoisomers of PM possessed estrogenic potential activities.αR-2R-Fen and αS-2S-Fen also induced the β-galactosidase activity.The inability to initiate the reporter gene expression by the racemic chemicals may be due to the low ratios of these isomers or the antagonism among them.The strong hydrophobic interaction and the hydrogen bond between positive estrogenic isomers and ERα support our biological testing results.This research demonstrated that the enantioselective estrogenic activity of chiral SPs was due to selective binding between their isomers and the ERαreceptor.The data suggests that enantioselectivity of these chiral pesticides is significant to their estrogenic activities.WANG Cui 1,ZHANG Quan 1,ZHANG XiaoFeng 1,LIU Jing 2 & LIU WeiPing 2 1College of Biological and Environmental Engineering,Zhejiang University of Technology,Hangzhou 310032,China 2Key Laboratory of Environmental Remediation and Ecosystem Health,Ministry of Education College of Environmental and Resource Sciences,Zhejiang University,Hangzhou 310029,China 2010Science China Chemistry2010,53,5:4
11A community-centric approach to automated service composition显示文摘In the recent years, the web has kept growing rapidly and undergone tremendous changes towards a user-centric environment. With the proliferation of services available on the Internet, millions of users are able to voluntarily participate in and collaborate for their own interests and benefits by means of service composition. However, due to the ever increasing number of services, it then becomes a challenging issue to enable the users to rapidly select and compose the proper services. In this paper, we propose an approach which utilizes service communities for automated service composition. This paper makes three contributions. Firstly, we propose the service community architecture and identify two key components to facilitate service discovery and composition. Secondly, assisted by the service community, we provide two composition types to help users explore the space of potential composition opportunities without having to understand too many details of individual candidate services. 12Electron transfer and interfacial behavior of redox proteins显示文摘This paper reviews the recent progress in the electron transfer and interfacial behavior of redox proteins. Significant achievements in the relevant fields are summarized including the direct electron transfer between proteins and electrodes, the thermodynamic and kinetic properties, catalytic activities and activity regulation of the redox proteins. 14NEW IDEAS AND METHODS ON GEOMECHANICAL SAFETY ANALYSIS OF TOXIC AND RADIOACTIVE WASTE REPOSITORIES IN SALT MINE显示文摘In view of the need for geomechanical safety analysis of repositories in salt rock, failure criteria,creep rupture criteria,material models,pillar design methods and criteria for the assessment of barrier efficiency as well as investigations of the interaction between hydraulics and mechanics for the case of uncontrolled flooded repositories are necessary. The introduction of damage mechanics and of the Hou/Lux material model including damages into geomechanical safety analysis of repositories in salt rock can reduce some previous deficits in knowledge and modelling. 18Molecularly imprinted polymers with assistant recognition polymer chains for bovine serum albumin显示文摘A new protein molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP) was prepared with grafting polyvinyl alcohol as assistant recognition polymer chains (ARPCs). The ARPCs and acrylamide monomers were interpenetrated and then polymerized on the surface of macroporous acrylate adsorbent spheres. The template BSA was removed by treatment with 2.00 mol L-1 potassium chloride (KCl) solution and the adsorbed proteins were detected with sodium dodecyl sulfate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE). 0.150, 0.500, and 2.00 mol L-1 KCl solutions were used as eluent to wash the adsorbed proteins. The SDS-PAGE results show that proteins washed out with 2.00 mol L-1KCl solution were from nonspecific adsorption of macroporous acrylate adsorbent spheres, and proteins washed out with 0.500 mol L-1KC1 solution were specific proteins imprinted by MIP resins. MIP resins with ARPCs had better recognition to the target proteins than that without ARPCs. 19Birthrates and delay times of Type Ia supernovae显示文摘Type Ia supernovae (SNe Ia) play an important role in diverse areas of astrophysics, from the chemical evolution of galaxies to observational cosmology. However, the nature of the progenitors of SNe Ia is still unclear. In this paper, according to a detailed binary population synthesis study, we obtained SN Ia birthrates and delay times from different progenitor models, and compared them with observations. We find that the Galactic SN Ia birthrate from the double-degenerate (DD) model is close to those inferred from observations, while the birthrate from the single-degenerate (SD) model accounts for only about 1/2-2/3 of the observations. 20An inkjet printing soft photomask and its application on organic polymer substrates显示文摘This article presents a simple,fast and low-cost method to fabricate a flexible UV light photomask.The designed micropatterns were directly printed onto transparent hybrid composite film of biaxially oriented polypropylene coated with silica oxide (BOPP-SiOx) by an inkjet printer.Compared to the conventional chrome-mask,it is of advantages such as suitable for non-planar substrates,scalable for large area production,and extreme low cost.Combined with the confined photo-catalytic oxidation (CPO) reaction,the printed flexible BOPP-SiOx photomask was successfully used to pattern the shape of wettability of organic polymer surfaces,and then polyaniline patterns were deposited on the modified substrates with strong adhesion.With the above photomasks,the polyacrylic acid graft chains were duplicated on the poly (ethylene terephthalate) (PET) and BOPP substrates by photografting polymerization.We grafted polyacrylic acid (PAA) on a non-planar plastic substrate with this soft and thin plastic photomask.Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and optical microscopy were used to characterize the surface morphology and thickness of ink layers of the printed photomask.Optical microscopy was used to characterize the deposition polyaniline micropatterns.It was found that the desired patterns were precisely printed on the modified polymer films and were applied in modifying organic polymer substrates.The printed photomask could be exploited in the fields such as prototype microfluidics,micro-sensors,optical structures and any other kind of microstructures which does not require high durability and dimensional stability.WANG LuLin1,MA YuHong2,CHEN MengJun1,YAO Hui1,ZHENG XiaoMan1 & YANG WanTai1,2 1State Key Laboratory of Chemical Resource Engineering College of Materials Science and Engineering,Beijing University of Chemical Technology,Beijing 100029,China 2Key Laboratory of Carbon Fiber and Functional Polymers,Ministry of Education Beijing University of Chemical Technology,Beijing 100029,China 2010Science China Chemistry2010,53,8:1
