1Investigation of the interfacial properties for CO_2-methanol and CO_2-ethanol mixtures显示文摘An equation of state (EOS) applicable for the interfacial properties of CO2-methanol and CO2-ethanol mixtures was established by combining the cross-association EOS and the density gradient theory (DGT). The correlated surface tensions of CO2-ethanol mixtures agreed well with the experimental data. The results illustrated the temperature and pressure dependence of the cross-association between CO2 and alcohol hydroxyls in the whole vapor-liquid surface,and the influence of the cross-association on the calculation of the surface tensions of binary mixtures.FU Dong 2011Science China Chemistry2011,54,5:2
2Chiral polymer-based biointerface materials显示文摘Chirality is a unique phenomenon in nature. Chiral interactions play an important role in biological and physiological processes, which provides much inspiration for scientists to develop chiral materials. As a breakthrough from traditional materials, biointerface materials based on chiral polymers have attracted increasing interest over the past few years. Such materials elegantly combine the advantages of chiral surfaces and traditional polymers, and provide a novel solution not only for the investigation of chiral interaction mechanisms but also for the design of biomaterials with diverse applications, such as in tissue engineering and biocompatible materials, bioregulation, chiral separation and chiral sensors.
