1LILRB4 ITIMs mediate the T cell suppression and infiltration of acute myeloid leukemia cells显示文摘We recently demonstrated that leukocyte Ig-like receptor 4(LILRB4)expressed by monocytic acute myeloid leukemia(AML)cells mediates T-cell inhibition and leukemia cell infiltration via its intracellular domain.The cytoplasmic domain of LILRB4 contains three immunoreceptor tyrosine-based inhibitory motifs(ITIMs);the tyrosines at positions 360,412,and 442 are phosphorylation sites.Here,we analyzed how the ITIMs of LILRB4 in AML cells mediate its function.Our in vitro and in vivo data show that Y412 and Y442,but not Y360,of LILRB4 are required for T-cell inhibition,and all three ITIMs are needed for leukemia cell infiltration.We constructed chimeric proteins containing the extracellular domain of LILRB4 and the intracellular domain of LILRB1 and vice versa.The intracellular domain of LILRB4,but not that of LILRB1,mediates T-cell suppression and AML cell migration.Our studies thus defined the unique signaling roles of LILRB4 ITIMs in AML cells.Zunling Li Mi Deng Fangfang Huang Changzhu Jin Shuang Sun Heyu Chen Xiaoye Liu Licai He Ali HSadek Cheng Cheng Zhang 2020Cellular & Molecular Immunology2020,17,3:1

7Leaf phenotypic variation in natural populations of Carpinus tschonoskii in China显示文摘Carpinus tschonoskii Maxim.exhibits rich leaf phenotypic variation and various leaf shapes,but few studies show why leaf phenotypic traits have such a large variation.Basic morphological markers may provide guidance for studying plant genetic variation and species protection and utilization.To study leaf phenotypic variations and the relationship between variation characteristics and climatic and geographical factors,phenotypic traits among natural populations were investigated.Results revealed that leaf phenotypes varied significantly among and within populations.Some populations had higher phenotypic diversity,while others had lower phenotypic diversity.Among the phenotypic traits,leaf area and petiole length had the most variation.Leaf index and primary lateral veins were the most stable phenotypes,which may be important reference indexes for phenotype identification in field investigations.There was a strong consistency between leaf phenotypic traits and geographical location.Plants in high latitudes tend to have longer leaves,and plants in low temperatures tend to have longer leaves and larger leaf perimeter.In addition,plants in areas with less rainfall have longer petioles.The 13 populations of C.tschonoskii can be divided into four branches by cluster analysis,and the results show a good relationship with the geographical location of each population.Additionally,some populations geographically isolated also had unique leaf phenotypes.Runan Zhao Xiaojie Chu Qianqian He Wei Liu Zunling Zhu 2023Journal of Forestry Research2023,34,5:0
8An analysis on the formation mechanism of the distributionof high content of chlorophyll-a in the continentalshelf edge waters of East China Sea显示文摘On the basis of the data obtained from the comprehensive Kuroshio surveys in 1987-1988,this paper analyses the oceanographic characteristics in the area (125°-130° E,27°-31° N) of the continental shelf edge of the East China Sea (E. C. S. ) and its adjacent waters and discusses the effects of the Kuroshio front,thermocline and upwelling of the Kuroshio subsurface water on the distribution of standing stock of phytoplankton (chlorophyll-a). The distribution of high content of chlorophylly-a has been detected at 20-50 in depth in the water body on the left side of the Kuroshio front in the continental shelf edge waters of the E. C. S. The high content of chlorophyll-a spreads from the shelf area to the Kuroshio area in the form of a tongue and connects with the maximum layer of subsurface chlorophyll-a of the Kuroshio and pelagic sea.
