| 1 | Novel radar dwell scheduling algorithm based on pulse interleaving显示文摘The problem of scheduling radar dwells in multifunction phased array radar systems is addressed. A novel dwell scheduling algorithm is proposed. The whole scheduling process is based on an online pulse interleaving technique. It takes the system timing and energy constraints into account. In order to adapt the dynamic task load, the algorithm considers both the priorities and deadlines of tasks. | 6 | Energy-Efficient Joint Content Caching and Small Base Station Activation Mechanism Design in Heterogeneous Cellular Networks显示文摘Heterogeneous cellular networks(HCNs), by introducing caching capability, has been considered as a promising technique in 5 G era, which can bring contents closer to users to reduce the transmission delay, save scarce bandwidth resource. Although many works have been done for caching in HCNs, from an energy perspective, there still exists much space to develop a more energy-efficient system when considering the fact that the majority of base stations are under-utilized in the most of the time. Therefore, in this paper, by taking the activation mechanism for the base stations into account, we study a joint caching and activation mechanism design to further improve the energy efficiency, then we formulate the optimization problem as an Integer Linear Programming problem(ILP) to maximize the system energy saving. Due to the enormous computation complexity for finding the optimal solution, we introduced a Quantum-inspired Evolutionary Algorithm(QEA) to iteratively provide the global best solution. Numerical results show that our proposed algorithm presents an excellent performance, which is far better than the strategy of only considering caching without deactivation mechanism in the actual, normal situation. | 7 | Electroporation: A New Approach Enhancing Antitumor Effects of Cytoxan显示文摘Electrochemotherapy (ECT) is a novel cancer treatment in which electric pulses (EPs) inducing cell membrane pored (electroporation) are used as a means of delivering antitumor drugs to the cytoplasm of cancer cells. In vitro, with scan electromicroscope (SEM) and Trypan blue staining examination, the best parameter of EPs of electroporation is studied by the S-180 cells exposed to EP with various voltages, pulses , capacitance. The best parameter of EP of electroporation is 600V/cm, 6 pulses, 10 μF. In the in vivo study, ECT is studied with the Cytoxan (CTX) injected directly into the tumor followed immediately by a local EP at the tumor site. Four parameters, which include the tumor inhibitory ratio, the curing ratio and the vas capillare of tumor, the tumor’s histopathological characteristics are determined and compared among the ECT group, the control group, the EP-only group and the drug-only group. | 8 | On the maximum likelihood method for target localization using MIMO radars显示文摘A multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) radar uses multiple antennas to simultaneously transmit multiple independent probing signals, and uses multiple antennas to receive the backscattered signals. The modeling of MIMO radar with transmit spatial diversity and coherent reception is addressed herein. The maximum likelihood (ML) method for parameter estimation using MIMO radars is considered, and two approximate ML algorithms are proposed. In the uniform noise scenario, one of the proposed algorithms performs similarly to the delay-and-sum beamformer which is optimal in the ML sense in single target case, while it outperforms the other proposed approximate ML algorithm at the cost of more computational load. In the non-uniform noise scenario, the proposed approximate ML algorithms both outperform the delay-and-sum beamformer. Although many works have been done, most of the existing works focus on the issues of network resource utilization or the quality of experience (QoE) promotion, while the energy efficiency is largely ignored. In this paper, different from previous works, in order to realize the energy efficiency for video transmission in MEC-enhanced 5G networks, we propose a joint caching and transcoding schedule strategy for HTTP adaptive video streaming transmission by taking the caching and transcoding into consideration. We formulate the problem of energy-efficient joint caching and transcoding as an integer programming problem to minimize the system energy consumption. Due to solving the optimization problem brings huge computation complexity, therefore, to make the optimization problem tractable, a heuristic algorithm based on simulated annealing algorithm is proposed to iteratively reach the global optimum solution with a lower complexity and higher accuracy. | 10 | A Novel Hybrid FA-Based LSSVR Learning Paradigm for Hydropower Consumption Forecasting显示文摘Due to the nonlinearity and nonstationary of hydropower market data, a novel hybrid learning paradigm is proposed to predict hydropower consumption, by incorporating firefly algorithm(FA) into least square support vector regression(LSSVR), i.e., FA-based LSSVR model. In the novel model, the powerful and effective artificial intelligence(AI) technique, i.e., LSSVR, is employed to forecast hydropower consumption. Furthermore, a promising AI optimization tool, i.e., FA, is especially introduced to address the crucial but difficult task of parameters determination in LSSVR(e.g.,hyper and kernel function parameters). With the Chinese hydropower consumption as sample data,the empirical study has statistically confirmed the superiority of the novel FA-based LSSVR model to other benchmark models(including existing popular traditional econometric models, AI models and similar hybrid LSSVRs with other popular parameter searching tools), in terms of level and directional accuracy. As a category of high-entropy alloys, eutectic high-entropy alloys combine the advantages of eutectic and high-entropy alloys, with excellent mechanical properties and casting properties. Some eutectic high-entropy alloys have been developed and shown exciting properties. In this paper, based on the physical metallurgy of eutectic high-entropy alloy, medium-entropy alloy Fe_(2)NiCrNb_(x) was designed. The as-cast alloy is composed of FCC and Laves phases, Nb element promotes the formation of primary Laves phase, and the hardness of the alloy increases with the increase in Nb element. Among the four alloys, the eutectic chemical composition at eutectic point is Fe_(2)NiCrNb_(0.34);the alloy has a good strength and plastic balance. The ultimate comprehensive strength is 2267 MPa, and the fracture strain is 30.8%. The experiment data and analyses identified the eutectic points and the excellent mechanical behavior. Moreover, the expensive Co element was replaced by Fe element.
