| 2 | Disease resistance conferred by components of essential chrysanthemum oil and the epigenetic regulation of OsTPS1显示文摘The sesquiterpene alpha-bisabolol is the predominant active ingredient in essential oils that are highly valued in the cosmetics industry due to its wound healing,anti-inflammatory,and skin-soothing properties.Alpha-bisabolol was thought to be restricted to Compositae plants.Here we reveal that alpha-bisabolol is also synthesized in rice,a non-Compositae plant,where it acts as a novel sesquiterpene phytoalexin.Overexpressing the gene responsible for the biosynthesis of alpha-bisabolol,Os TPS1,conferred bacterial blight resistance in rice.Phylogenomic analyses revealed that alpha-bisabolol-synthesizing enzymes in rice and Compositae evolved independently.Further experiments demonstrated that the natural variation in the disease resistance level was associated with differential transcription of Os TPS1 due to polymorphisms in its promoter.We demonstrated that Os TPS1 was regulated at the epigenetic level by JMJ705 through the methyl jasmonate pathway.These data reveal the cross-family accumulation and regulatory mechanisms of alpha-bisabolol production. | Chuansong Zhan Long Lei Hao Guo Shen Zhou Congping Xu Zixin Liu Zichen Wu Yuan Deng Yuanyuan Miao Yu Han Meng Zhang Hua Li Sishu Huang Chenkun Yang Feng Zhang Yufei Li Ling Liu Xianqing Liu Hafiz Muhammad Khalid Abbas Alisdair R.Fernie Meng Yuan Jie Luo | 2023 | Science China(Life Sciences)2023,66,5: | 1 |

| 5 | Grinding-assisted heterogeneous nucleation of BiOAc on MoS_(2) nanoflowers to heterojunction with good visible-light photocatalytic performance显示文摘Bismuth oxide subacetate(CH3COO(BiO);BiOAc)with a large band gap energy(Eg)was first applied as an ultraviolet-light-driven photocatalyst in our group.MoS_(2)nanoflowers have been used to improve the visible-light photocatalytic activity of bismuth-based semiconductors with wide Eg because of their good visible-light response.Herein,the grinding-assisted solid-state reaction method was used to prepare a MoS_(2)/BiOAc composite to improve the visible-light photoreactivity of BiOAc.As compared with commonly used wet chemical and hydrothermal routes,the grinding-assisted synthesis facilitated heterogeneous nucleation,which was beneficial to achieving close contact and subsequent charge transfer and separation at the interfaces,resulting in enhanced photocatalytic activity for malachite green,methylene blue,and antibiotic tetracycline degradation under visible-light irradiation.Notably,the dispersion in the mixing solution of ethanol and water(v/v=1)of MoS_(2)nanosheets induced self-assembly into flower-like nanostructures,thus enhancing the photocatalytic activity of MoS_(2)/BiOAc.A possible mechanism for visible-light photocatalysis of MoS_(2)/BiOAc was proposed. | Huanzhen Liu Qiaofeng Han Xuemei Jia Zichen Shen | 2021 | Particuology2021,19,3: | 0 |

| 7 | Experiments and Analysis of Corona Inception Voltage Under Combined AC-DC Voltages at Various Air Pressure and Humidity in Rod to Plane Electrodes显示文摘As the effect of climate plays a significant role in corona discharge under combined voltages,the variation of corona inception voltage with different air pressure and humidities is studied.An experimental platform,based on a rod-to-plane electrode,is constructed with adjustable air pressure from 0.06 MPa to 0.10 MPa and with a relative humidity(RH)from 20%to 90%.The variation of ultraviolet(UV)photon count and corona inception voltage is obtained at various climate conditions under different applied voltages:the single AC,single DC,and combined AC-DC.It turns out that all the corona inception voltages decline with the drop of air pressure and the rise of humidity under different applied voltages.The influence between different voltages primarily relies on space charge,as more AC components make it easier to accumulate positive ions.The existence of AC makes ions move forward and backward while the existence of DC dominates the polarity of corona and general drift directions.At last the fitting formula of hybrid corona inception voltage combining air pressure and relative humidity is given. | Zichen He Junyu Zhu Jie Zhu Xingming Bian Boyang Shen | 2021 | CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2021,7,4: | 0 |
