| 1 | Tailoring the microstructural characteristic and improving the corrosion resistance of extruded dilute Mg-0.5Bi-0.5Sn alloy by microalloying with Mn显示文摘Mg-0.5Bi-0.5Sn alloys with and without microalloying with 0.5 wt%Mn were subjected to extrusion,and the effect of Mn microalloying on the microstructural characteristic and corrosion behavior of the extruded alloys was investigated.The results indicated that the average grain size and the density of dislocations decreased,and a new Mg_(26.67)Mn_(65.47)Fe_(7.86)second phase as well as grain boundary segregation of Sn atoms could be observed in certain micro-regions of the extruded dilute Mg-0.5Bi-0.5Sn-0.5 Mn alloy.The tailoring of microstructure resulted in the significant enhancement in corrosion resistance(R_(p)increased from 1095.91Ωcm^(2)to 5008.79Ωcm^(2)).In addition,grain boundary segregation resulted in intergranular corrosion and led to the dissolution of Sn atoms.Hence,the dissolution rate of the matrix in Mg-0.5Bi-0.5Sn-0.5Mn alloy could be inhibited by the corrosion product film containing an intermediate product(SnO_(2)). | Yang Liu Wei-li Cheng Xiong-jie Gu Yan-hui Liu Zeqin Cui Lifei Wang Hong-xia Wang | 2021 | Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2021,9,5: | 5 |
| 2 | Anisotropy study of the microstructure and properties of AlCoCrFeNi2.1 eutectic high entropy alloy additively manufactured by selective laser melting显示文摘The AlCoCrFeNi2.1 eutectic high-entropy alloy(EHEA) was prepared by selective laser melting(SLM), focusing on the anisotropy of microstructure and mechanical performance. The AlCoCrFeNi2.1 EHEA printed by SLM has face-centered cubic(FCC) and body-centered cubic(BCC)/B2 phases, and the FCC phase accumulates at the boundary of the molten pool. With the increase in volumetric energy density(VED), the content of the FCC phase parallel to the surface in the direction of the building increases from 30.9% to 41%. The X–Z plane mainly produces columnar crystals along the temperature gradient, while a large number of equiaxed crystals are produced in the X–Y direction. When the volume energy density is 157 k J/mol(VED 157), the average grain size is 1.33 μm for BCC and 1.14 μm for FCC, which is significantly smaller than other preparation methods. Due to defect distribution and size, the microhardness of the X–Y plane is generally higher than that of the X–Z plane, with maximum hardnesses of 660 HV and 655 HV, respectively, which is much higher than those of traditionally manufactured counterparts.The compression performance of SLM process AlCoCrFeNi2.1 EHEAs shows maximum yield strength of 1567 MPa, and the ultimate compressive strength can reach 3276 MPa. | Liwei Lan Wenxian Wang Zeqin Cui Xiaohu Hao Dong Qiu | 2022 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,34: | 2 |

| 4 | CsTRM5 regulates fruit shape via mediating cell division direction and cell expansion in cucumber显示文摘Fruit shape and size are important appearance and yield traits in cucumber,but the underlying genes and their regulatory mechanisms remain poorly understood.Here we identified a mutant with spherical fruits from an Ethyl Methane Sulfonate(EMS)-mutagenized library,named the qiu mutant.Compared with the cylindrical fruit shape in 32X(wild type),the fruit shape in qiu was round due to reduced fruit length and increased fruit diameter.MutMap analysis narrowed the candidate gene in the 6.47 MB range on Chr2,harboring the FS2.1 locus reported previously.A single-nucleotide polymorphism(SNP)(11359603)causing a truncated protein of CsaV3_2G013800,the homolog of tomato fruit shape gene SlTRM5,may underlie the fruit shape variation in the qiu mutant.Knockout of CsTRM5 by the CRISPR-Cas9 system confirmed that CsaV3_2G013800/CsTRM5 was the causal gene responsible for qiu.Sectioning analysis showed that the spherical fruit in qiu resulted mainly from increased and reduced cell division along the transverse and longitudinal directions,respectively.Meanwhile,the repressed cell expansion contributed to the decreased fruit length in qiu.Transcriptome profiling showed that the expression levels of cell-wall-related genes and abscisic acid(ABA)pathway genes were significantly upregulated in qiu.Hormone measurements indicated that ABA content was greatly increased in the qiu mutant.Exogenous ABA application reduced fruit elongation by inhibiting cell expansion in cucumber.Taken together,these data suggest that CsTRM5 regulates fruit shape by affecting cell division direction and cell expansion,and that ABA participates in the CsTRM5-mediated cell expansion during fruit elongation in cucumber. | Yang Xie Xiaofeng Liu Chengzhen Sun Xiaofei Song Xiaoli Li Haonan Cui Jingyu Guo Liu Liu Ao Ying Zeqin Zhang Xueyun Zhu Liying Yan Xiaolan Zhang | 2023 | Horticulture Research2023,10,3: | 1 |

| 18 | Effect of Sintering Time on the Mechanical and Corrosion Behavior of Zn-Mg Composites with a Core-Shell Structure Prepared by SPS显示文摘Zn-10 Mg composite with a core-shell structure was prepared by spark plasma sintering(SPS)technology,and a systematic study of the microstructure and properties has been conducted for different sintering times.The shell layer dominated by the hard MgZn2 phase thickens with the increase in sintering time,which has a positive effect on the mechanical and degradation properties of the material.The sample sintered for 20 min(T-20)has the best mechanical properties,with a compressive strength of 226 MPa and a compression rate of 6.5%.The corrosion resistance of samples increases as the sintering time prolongs,while the hydrogen evolution volume and pH value decrease in the immersion experiment.Furthermore,the increase in the shell thickness significantly reduces the corrosion rate,which is attributed to the weakening of the galvanic corrosion reaction between the Mg core and the MgZn2 shell.Therefore,composite with unique core-shell structure provides an advanced design idea for degradable biomaterials,and a reasonable control of sintering time can provide the optimal design strategy. | Zeqin Cui Lei Zhou Xiaohu Hao Mengda Luo Wenxian Wang Jianzhong Wang Weiguo Li | 2023 | Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2023,36,8: | 0 |
