1Reservoir architecture patterns of sandy gravel braided distributary channel A case study of Triassic Upper Karamay Formation,Xinjiang oilfield显示文摘The purpose of this study was to discuss shape,scale and superimposed types of sandy gravel bodies in sandy-gravel braided distributary channel.Lithofacies analysis,hierarchy bounding surface analysis and subsurface dense well pattern combining with outcrops method were used to examine reservoir architecture patterns of sandy gravel braided distributary channel based on cores,well logging,and outcrops data,and the reservoir architecture patterns of sandy gravel braided distributary channels in different grades have been established.The study shows:(1)The main reservoir architecture elements for sandy gravel braided channel delta are distributary channel and overbank sand,while reservoir flow barrier elements are interchannel and lacustrine mudstone.(2)The compound sand bodies in the sandy gravel braided delta distributary channel take on three shapes:sheet-like distributary channel sand body,interweave strip distributary channel sand body,single strip distributary channel sand body.(3)Identification marks of single distributary channel include:elevation of sand body top,lateral overlaying,“thick-thin-thick”feature of sand bodies,interchannel mudstone and overbank sand between distributary channels and the differences in well log curve shape of sand bodies.(4)Nine lithofacies types were distinguished in distributary channel unit interior,different channel units have different lithofacies association sequence.Senlin Yin Zhangming Hu Xiang Ren Xiaojun Wu Yanhui Chen Lijun Zheng Zhibin Jiang 2016Petroleum2016,2,2:2

4The mechanistic target of rapamycin complex 1 pathway involved in hepatic gluconeogenesis through peroxisome-proliferator-activated receptorγcoactivator-1a显示文摘Cattle can efficiently perform de novo generation of glucose through hepatic gluconeogenesis to meet post-weaning glucose demand.Substantial evidence points to cattle and non-ruminant animals being characterized by phylogenetic features in terms of their differing capacity for hepatic gluconeogenesis,a process that is highly efficient in cattle yet the underlying mechanism remains unclear.Here we used a variety of transcriptome data,as well as tissue and cell-based methods to uncover the mechanisms of high-efficiency hepatic gluconeogenesis in cattle.We showed that cattle can efficiently convert propionate into pyruvate,at least partly,via high expression of acyl-CoA synthetase short-chain family member 1(ACSS1),propionyl-CoA carboxylase alpha chain(PCCA),methylmalonyl-CoA epimerase(MCEE),methylmalonyl-CoA mutase(MMUT),and succinate-CoA ligase(SUCLG2)genes in the liver(P<0.01).Moreover,higher expression of the rate-limiting enzymes of gluconeogenesis,such as phosphoenolpyruvate carboxykinase(PCK)and fructose 1,6-bisphosphatase(FBP),ensures the efficient operation of hepatic gluconeogenesis in cattle(P<0.01).Mechanistically,we found that cattle liver exhibits highly active mechanistic target of rapamycin complex 1(mTORC1),and the expressions of PCCA,MMUT,SUCLG2,PCK,and FBP genes are regulated by the activation of mTORC1(P<0.001).Finally,our results showed that mTORC1 promotes hepatic gluconeogenesis in a peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor γ coactivator 1a(PGC-1a)dependent manner.Collectively,our results not only revealed an important mechanism responsible for the quantitative differences in the efficiency of hepatic gluconeogenesis in cattle versus non-ruminant animals,but also established that mTORC1 is indeed involved in the regulation of hepatic gluconeogenesis through PGC-1a.These results provide a novel potential insight into promoting hepatic gluconeogenesis through activated mTORC1 in both ruminants and mammals.Guoyan Wang Jun Zhang Shengru Wu Senlin Qin Yining Zheng Chao Xia Huijun Geng Junhu Yao Lu Deng 2022Animal Nutrition2022,,4:1
5Composition and distribution of fish species collectedduring the fourth Chinese National Arctic Research Ex-pedition in 2010显示文摘There are awareness and concerns caused by the decreasing sea ice coverage around the Arctic and Antarctic due toeffects of climate change. Emphasis in this study was on rapid changes in Arctic sea ice coverage and its impacts on the marineecology during the fourth Chinese National Arctic Research Expedition in 2010. Our purpose was to establish a baseline of Arcticfish compositions, and consequent effects of climate change on the fish community and biogeography. Fish specimens were col-lected using a multinet middle-water trawl, French-type beam trawl, otter trawl, and triangular bottom trawl. In total, 36 tows werecarried out along the shelf of the Bering Sea, Bering Strait, and Chukchi Sea in the Arctic Ocean. In total, 41 fish species belongingto 14 families in 7 orders were collected during the expedition. Among them, the Scorpaeniformes, including 17 species, accountedfor almost one third of the total number (34.8%), followed by 14 species of the Perciformes (27.0%), 5 species of the Pleuronecti-formes (22.3%), and 2 species of the Gadiformes (15.4%). The top 6 most abundant species were Hippoglossoides robustus, Bore-gadus saida, Myoxocephalus scorpius, Lumpenus fabricii, Artediellus scaber, and Gymnocanthus tricuspis. Abundant species var-ied according to the different fishing methods; numbers of families and species recorded did not differ with the various fishingmethods; species and abundances decreased with depth and latitude; and species extending over their known geographic rangeswere observed during the expedition. 6A quasi-solid-state electrolyte with high ionic conductivity for stable lithium-ion batteries显示文摘The practical applications of solid-state electrolytes in lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)are hindered by their low ionic conductivity and high interfacial resistance.Herein,an ethoxylated trimethylolpropane triacrylate based quasi-solid-state electrolyte(ETPTAQSSE)with a three-dimensional(3D)network is prepared by a one-step in-situ photopolymerization method.The 3D network is designed to overcome the contradiction between the plasticizer-related ionic conductivity and the thickness-dependent mechanical property of quasi-solid-state electrolytes.The ETPTA-QSSE achieves superb room-temperature ionic conductivity up to 4.55×10^(−3)S cm^(−1),a high lithium ion transference number of 0.57,along with a wide electrochemical window of 5.3 V(vs.Li+/Li),which outperforms most ever of the reported solid-state electrolytes.Owing to the robust network structure and the cathodeelectrolyte integrated electrode design,Li metal symmetrical cells show reduced interface resistance and reinforced electrode/electrolyte interface stability.When applying the ETPTA-QSSE in LiFePO_(4)||Li cells,the quasi-solid-state cell demonstrates an enhanced initial discharge capacity(155.5 mAh g^(−1)at 0.2 C)accompanied by a high average Coulombic efficiency of greater than 99.3%,offering capacity retention of 92%after 200 cycles.Accordingly,this work sheds light on the strategy of enhancing ionic conductivity and reducing interfacial resistance of quasi-solid-state electrolytes,which is promising for high-voltage LIBs.ZHANG WenJing LI SenLin ZHANG YuRong WANG XingHui LIU JingDong ZHENG YuanHui 2022Science China(Technological Sciences)2022,65,10:1

8Robust global route planning for an autonomous underwater vehicle in a stochastic environment显示文摘This paper describes a route planner that enables an autonomous underwater vehicle to selectively complete part of the predetermined tasks in the operating ocean area when the local path cost is stochastic.The problem is formulated as a variant of the orienteering problem.Based on the genetic algorithm(GA),we propose the greedy strategy based GA(GGA)which includes a novel rebirth operator that maps infeasible individuals into the feasible solution space during evolution to improve the efficiency of the optimization,and use a differential evolution planner for providing the deterministic local path cost.The uncertainty of the local path cost comes from unpredictable obstacles,measurement error,and trajectory tracking error.To improve the robustness of the planner in an uncertain environment,a sampling strategy for path evaluation is designed,and the cost of a certain route is obtained by multiple sampling from the probability density functions of local paths.Monte Carlo simulations are used to verify the superiority and effectiveness of the planner.The promising simulation results show that the proposed GGA outperforms its counterparts by 4.7%–24.6%in terms of total profit,and the sampling-based GGA route planner(S-GGARP)improves the average profit by 5.5%compared to the GGA route planner(GGARP).Jiaxin ZHANG Meiqin LIU Senlin ZHANG Ronghao ZHENG 2022Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering2022,23,11:0
9Air pressure law of a reservoir constructed in karst sinkholes显示文摘Karst sinkholes with natural negative landform provide favorable conditions for the pumped storage reservoir construction for less excavation work.However,the construction of the reservoir would plug the natural karst channels for water and air,which would cause remarkable air pressure in karst channels when the groundwater level fluctuates.A large laboratory simulation test was carried out to study the air pressure variation of a reservoir built on the karst sinkhole.The air pressure in the karst channel and inside the model was monitored during the groundwater rising and falling process.Result showed that the variation of air pressure in the karst channel and the surrounding rock exhibited a high degree of similarity.The air pressure increased rapidly at the initial stage of water level rising,followed by a slight decrease,then the air pressure increased sharply when the water level approached the top of the karst cave.The initial peak of air pressure and the final peak of air pressure were defined,and both air pressure peaks were linearly increasing with the water level rising rate.The negative air pressure was also analyzed during the drainage process,which was linearly correlated with the water level falling rate.The causes of air pressure variation in karst channels of a pumped storage reservoir built on the karst sinkhole were discussed.The initial rapid increase,then slight decrease and final sudden increase of air pressure were controlled by the combined effects of air compression in karst channel and air seepage into the surrounding rock.For the drainage process,the instant negative air pressure and gradual recovering of air pressure were controlled by the combined effects of negative air pressure induced by water level falling and air supply from surrounding rock.This work could provide valuable reference for the reservoir construction in karst area.YU Bo TAI Shengping ZHENG Kexun CHEN Shiwan HAN Xiao WANG Senlin ZUO Shuangying 2024Journal of Mountain Science2024,21,3:0
