Enhanced catalytic activity of Ru through N modification toward alkaline hydrogen electrocatalysis显示文摘Exploring highly efficient electrocatalysts and understanding the reaction mechanisms for hydrogen electrocatalysis, including hydrogen oxidation reaction (HOR) and hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) in alkaline media are conducive to the conversion of hydrogen energy.Herein,we reported a new strategy to boost the HER/HOR performances of ruthenium (Ru) nanoparticles through nitrogen (N) modification. The obtained N-Ru/C exhibit remarkable catalytic performance, with normalized HOR exchange current density and mass activity of 0.56 m A/cm^(2)and 0.54 m A/μg,respectively,about 4 and 4.5 times higher than those of Ru/C,and even twofold enhancement compared to commercial Pt/C.Moreover,at the overpotential of 50 m V,the normalized HER current density of N-Ru/C is 5.5 times higher than that of Ru/C.Experimental and density functional theory (DFT) results verify the electronic regulation of Ru after N incorporation, resulting in the optimized hydrogen adsorption Gibbs free energy (ΔG_(H*)) and hence enhancing the HOR/HER performance. | Yuanmeng Zhao Xuewei Wang Zhen Li Pingping Zhao Congliang Tao Gongzhen Cheng Wei Luo | 2022 | Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,2: | 2

The CREB Regulated Transcription Coactivator 2 Suppresses HIV-1 Transcription by Preventing RNA PolⅡfrom Binding to HIV-1 LTR显示文摘The CREB-regulated transcriptional co-activators(CRTCs),including CRTC1,CRTC2 and CRTC3,enhance transcription of CREB-targeted genes. In addition to regulating host gene expression in response to cAMP,CRTCs also increase the infection of several viruses. While human immunodeficiency virus type 1(HIV-1)long terminal repeat(LTR)promoter harbors a cAMP response element and activation of the cAMP pathway promotes HIV-1 transcription,it remains unknown whether CRTCs have any effect on HIV-1 transcription and HIV-1 infection. Here,we reported that CRTC2 expression was induced by HIV-1 infection, but CRTC2 suppressed HIV-1 infection and diminished viral RNA expression.Mechanistic studies revealed that CRTC2 inhibited transcription from HIV-1 LTR and diminished RNA PolⅡoccupancy at the LTR independent of its association with CREB.Importantly,CRTC2 inhibits the activation of latent HIV-1.Together,these data suggest that in response to HIV-1 infection, cells increase the expression of CRTC2 which inhibits HIV-1 gene expression and may play a role in driving HIV-1 into latency. | Ling Ma Shumin Chen Zhen Wang Saisai Guo Jianyuan Zhao Dongrong Yi Quanjie Li Zhenlong Liu Fei Guo Xiaoyu Li Pingping Jia Jiwei Ding Chen Liang Shan Cen | 2021 | Virologica Sinica2021,36,4: | 1
Biased heteroplasmy within the mitogenomic sequences of Gigantometra gigas revealed by sanger and high-throughput methods显示文摘Few studies have explored the differences between Sanger and HTS methods in the results of mitogenome sequencing. We used a single individual of insect to study the differences between the sequences given by Sanger and PCR-free HTS methods. Here we provided evidence for biased results of sequencing due to different methods in the mitochondrial genes of atp6, atp8, cox1, cox2, cox3, Cytb, nad2, nad3, nad4, nad5, rrn S, rrnL, trnH, trn I, and control region at various degrees. Especially, in cox1, the differently sequenced nucleotides account for 2.6% of the complete length. Furthermore, the highest value of the intraspecific genetic distance based on K2 P accounts for 2.5% using a barcode fragment size of cox1(651 bp, Sanger), while the maximum distance of the corresponding cox1 fragment obtained by the two sequencing methods was 5.0%. We revealed that the methods of Sanger and HTS may give different sequencing results of mitochondrial genes, which may reflect the heteroplasmy of mitogenomes within an insect individual. Therefore, researchers should be very cautious in using the mixed data of a gene given by different methods of sequencing. | Xiaoya Sun Yanhui Wang Pingping Chen Hesheng Wang Lixiang Lu Zhen Ye Yanzhuo Wu Teng Li Wenjun Bu Qiang Xie | 2018 | Zoological Systematics2018,43,4: | 0
Laminae characteristics of gas-bearing shale fine-grained sediment of the Silurian Longmaxi Formation of Well Wuxi 2 in Sichuan Basin,SW China显示文摘Based on various test data, the composition, texture, structure and lamina types of gas-bearing shale were determined based on Well Wuxi 2 of the Silurian Longmaxi Formation in the Sichuan Basin. Four types of lamina, namely organic-rich lamina, organic-bearing lamina, clay lamina and silty lamina, are developed in the Longmaxi Formation of Well Wuxi 2, and they form 2 kinds of lamina set and 5 kinds of beds. Because of increasing supply of terrigenous clasts and enhancing hydrodynamics and associated oxygen levels, the contents of TOC and brittle mineral reduce and content of clay mineral increases gradually as the depth becomes shallow. Organic-rich lamina, organic-rich + organic-bearing lamina set and organic-rich bed dominate the small layers 1-3 of Member 1 of the Longmaxi Formation, suggesting anoxic and weak hydraulic depositional setting. Organic-rich lamina, along with organic-bearing lamina and silty lamina, appear in small layer 4, suggesting increased oxygenated and hydraulic level. Small layers 1-3 are the best interval and drilling target of shale gas exploration and development. | SHI Zhensheng QIU Zhen DONG Dazhong LU Bin LIANG Pingping ZHANG Mengqi | 2018 | Petroleum Exploration and Development2018,45,2: | 0
Molybdenum-induced tuning 3d-orbital electron filling degree of CoSe_(2) for alkaline hydrogen and oxygen evolution reactions显示文摘The development of high-performance non-precious metal-based robust bifunctional electrocatalyst for both hydrogen evolution reaction(HER) and oxygen evolution reactions(OER) in alkaline media is essential for the electrochemical overall water splitting technologies. Herein, we demonstrate that the HER/OER performance of Co Se_(2)can be significantly enhanced by tuning the 3d-orbital electron filling degree through Mo doping. Both density functional theory(DFT) calculations and experimental results imply that the doping of Mo with higher proportion of the unoccupied d-orbital(P_(un)) could not only serve as the active center for water adsorption to enhance the water molecule activation, but also modulate the electronic structures of Co metal center leading to the optimized adsorption strength of*H. As expected, the obtained Mo-Co Se_(2)exhibits a remarkable bifunctional performance with overpotential of only 85 m V for HER and 245 m V for OER to achieve the current density of 10 m A/cm^(2)in alkaline media. This work will provide a valuable insight to design highly efficient bifunctional electrocatalyst towards HER and OER. | Sumaira Nazar Hussain Yana Men Zhen Li Pingping Zhao Gongzhen Cheng Wei Luo | 2023 | Chinese Chemical Letters2023,34,2: | 0
