| 2 | Monitoring of non-point source pollutants load from a mixed forest land use显示文摘The aim of this study was to determine the unit load of NPS (non-point source) pollutants including organic variables such as BOD (biochemical oxygen demand),COD (chemical oxygen demand) and DOC (dissolved organic carbon),nitrogen and phosphorus constituents,and suspended solids (SS) and their event mean concentration (EMC) of runoff flows from a water-shed of mixed forest land use by intensive field experiments.Field monitoring for continuous measurements of rainfall,flow,and water quality was conducted over 12 storm events during 2008–2009 using automated and manual sampling methods.The EMCs of individual runoff event were estimated for each water quality constituent based on the flow rate and concentration data of runoff discharge.The average EMCs of BOD,COD,DOC,SS,TN (total nitrogen),NH 4+ -N,NO 3- -N,TP (total phosphorus),PO 43- -P from the mixed forest land were 1.794,3.498,1.462,10.269,0.862,0.044,0.634,0.034,and 0.005 mg/L,respectively.The annual unit loads of BOD,COD,DOC,SS,TN,NH 4+ -N,NO 3- -N,TP and PO 43--P were estimated as 66.9,133.2,55.5,429.8,36.5,1.6,26.9,1.3 and 0.1 kg/(ha·yr),respectively.In addition,affecting parameters on the EMCs were investigated by statistic analysis of the field data.As a result,significant correlations with precipitation,rainfall intensity,and total runoff flows were found in most constituents. | Sung Wan Yoon Se Woong Chung Dong Geun Oh Jae Woon Lee | 2010 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2010，22，6： | 6 |

| 4 | Short-term overlap lamivudine treatment with adefovir dipivoxil in patients with lamivudine-resistant chronic hepatitis B显示文摘AIM:To evaluate the efficacy of short-term overlap lamivudine therapy with adefovir in patients with lamivudine-resistant and nave chronic hepatitis B,we compared patients receiving overlap therapy with those receiving adefovir alone. METHODS:Eighty patients who had received lamivudine treatment for various periods and had a lamivudine- resistant liver function abnormality were enrolled.Forty of these patients received adefovir treatment combined with lamivudine treatment for≥2 mo,while the other 40 received adefovir alone.We assessed the levels of hepatitis B virus(HBV)DNA at 0,12 and 48 wk and serum alanine aminotransferase(ALT)levels after 0,12, 24 and 48 wk of adefovir treatment in each group. RESULTS:We found serum ALT became normalized in 72(87.5%)of the 80 patients,and HBV DNA decreased by≥2 log10 copies/mL in 60(75%)of the 80 patients at the end of a 48-wk treatment.HBV DNA levels were not significantly different between the groups.The improvements in serum ALT were also not significantly different between the two groups. | 7 | Sinkihwan-gamibang ameliorates puromycin amino nucleoside-induced nephrotic syndrome显示文摘Nephrotic syndrome(NS)is a kidney disease characterized by hypertriglyceridemia,massive proteinuria,hypo-albuminemia and peripheral edema.Sinkihwan-gamibang(SKHGMB)was recorded in a traditional Chinese medical book named“Bangyakhappyeon(方藥合編)”and its three prescriptions Sinkihwan,Geumgwe-sinkihwan,and Jesaeng-sinkihwan belong to Gamibang.This study confirmed the effect of SKHGMB on renal dysfunction in an NS model induced by puromycin aminonucleoside(PAN).The experimental NS model was induced in male Sprague Dawley(SD)rats through injection of PAN(50 mg·kg^(-1))via the femoral vein.SKHGMB not only reduced the size of the kidneys increased due to PAN-induced NS,but also decreased proteinuria and ascites.In addition,SKHGMB significantly ameliorated creatinine clearance,creatinine,and blood urea nitrogen.SKHGMB relieved glomeruli dilation and tubules fibrosis in the glomeruli of the NS model.SKHGMB inhibited the protein and mRNA levels of the NLRP3 inflammasome including NLRP3,ASC,and pro-caspase-1 in NS rats.SKHGMB reduced the protein and mRNA levels of fibrosis regulators in NS rats.The results indicated that SKHGMB exerts protective effects against renal dysfunction by inhibiting of renal inflammation and fibrosis in NS rats. | Lee Hyeon Kyoung Jang Youn Jae Na Se Won Kim Hye Yoom Han Bywig Hyuk Lee Yun Jung Lee Ho Sub Yoon Jung Joo Kang Dae Gill | 2022 | Chinese Journal of Natural Medicines2022，20，3： | 2 |
| 8 | Weekly docetaxel and gemcitabine in previously treated metastatic esophageal squamous cell carcinoma显示文摘AIM: To assess the efficacy and safety of weekly docetaxel plus a fixed-dose rate(FDR) of gemcitabine in metastatic esophageal squamous cell carcinoma(SCC).METHODS: A multi-center, open-label, prospective phase Ⅱ study was designed.Thirty-three esophageal SCC patients with documented progression after fluoropyrimidine/platinum-based first-line chemotherapy were enrolled and treated with docetaxel 35 mg/m2 and gemcitabine 1000 mg/m2 iv at a FDR(10 mg/m2 per minute) on days 1 and 8.Treatment was repeatedevery twenty-one days until disease progression, unacceptable toxicity, or consent withdrawal.The primary endpoint was response rate(RR), and secondary endpoints were safety, progression-free survival(PFS) and overall survival(OS).RESULTS: Combination of weekly docetaxel and FDR gemcitabine was well tolerated: the most common treatment-related adverse events were anemia(97%), fatigue(64%) and neutropenia(55%).One patient with multiple lung and lymph node metastases died of respiratory failure after receiving four cycles of chemotherapy, and the possibility of drug-induced pneumonitis could not be completely excluded.Disease control(objective response plus stable disease) in the ITT population was achieved in 88% of patients, and the overall RR was 30%(95%CI: 15%-46%).The median PFS and OS were 4.0(95%CI: 3.4-4.6) and 8.8 mo(95%CI: 7.8-9.8 mo), respectively.CONCLUSION: A combination of weekly docetaxel and FDR gemcitabine showed promising antitumor activity and tolerability in previously treated, metastatic esophageal SCC. | Min-Young Lee Ki Sun Jung Hae Su Kim Ji Yun Lee Sung Hee Lim Moonjin Kim Hyun Ae Jung Sung Min Kim Jong Mu Sun Myung-Ju Ahn Jeeyun Lee Se Hoon Park Seong Yoon Yi In Gyu Hwang Sang-Cheol Lee Hee Kyung Ahn Do Hyoung Lim Soon Il Lee Keon Woo Park | 2015 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2015，21，14： | 2 |

In some cases, it may be diff icult to preoperatively differentiate low grade chondrosarcoma from benign cartilaginous tumors such as chondroma. We report a case of low grade chondrosarcoma of the nasal septum with characteristic radiologic f indings. Characteristic radiologic f indings such as calcif ications on computed tomography scan and a ring-and-arc pattern on enhanced T1 weighted image were useful in the preoperative diagnosis of low grade chondrosarcoma of the septum.
