| 1 | Diversity and Geographical Pattern of Altitudinal Belts in the Hengduan Mountains in China显示文摘This paper analyses the diversity and spatial pattern of the altitudinal belts in the Hengduan Mountains in China.A total of 7 types of base belts and 26 types of altitudinal belts are identified in the study region.The main altitudinal belt lines,such as forest line,the upper limit of dark coniferous forest and snow line,have similar latitudinal and longitudinal spatial patterns,namely,arched quadratic curve model with latitudes and concave quadratic curve model along longitudinal direction.These patterns can be together called as 'Hyperbolic-paraboloid model',revealing the complexity and speciality of the environment and ecology in the study region.This result further validates the hypnosis of a common quadratic model for spatial pattern of mountain altitudinal belts proposed by the authors.The spatial pattern of altitudinal belts is closely related with moisture-related exposure effect in the Hengduan Mountains.Different combinations (spectra) of altitudinal belts and different base belt types appear in windward and leeward flanks and even in the same flanks of different ranges.This is closely related with the parallel mountain ranges of the Hengduan Mountains,which,at nearly right angle with the moving direction of prevailing moisture-laden air masses from west and east,hold up the warm and humid monsoon wind from moving into the core region and result in different moisture conditions in windward and leeward flanks.However,how to quantitatively describe the moisture-related exposure effect needs further study.In addition,the data quality and data accuracy at present also affect to some extent the result of quantitative modeling and should be improved with RS/GIS in the future. | YAO Yonghui ZHANG Baiping HAN Fang, PANG Yu | 2010 | Journal of Mountain Science2010,7,2: | 11 |

| 4 | Eupalinolide B inhibits hepatic carcinoma by inducing ferroptosis and ROS-ER-JNK pathway显示文摘Primary hepatic carcinoma is a common malignant tumor.The classic molecular targeted drug sorafenib is costly and is only effective for some patients.Therefore,it is of great clinical significance to search for new molecular targeted drugs.Eupalinolide B(EB)from Eupatorium lindleyanum DC.is used to treat chronic tracheitis in clinical practice.However,the role of EB in hepatic carcinoma is unknown.In this study,we first measure the effect of EB on tumor growth in a xenograft model and PDX model.The cell proliferation and migration are also detected in human hepatocarcinoma cell lines(SMMC-7721 and HCCLM3).Then,we investigate cell cycle,cell apoptosis,cell necrosis,cell autophagy,and ferroptosis by flow cytometry,western blot analysis and electron microscopy.The results demonstrate that EB exerts anti-proliferative activity in hepatic carcinoma by blocking cell cycle arrest at S phase and inducing ferroptosis mediated by endoplasmic reticulum(ER)stress,as well as HO-1 activation.When HO-1 is inhibited,EB-induced cell death and ER protein expression are rescued.The migration-related mechanism consists of activation of the ROS-ER-JNK signaling pathway and is not connected to ferroptosis.In summary,we first discover that EB inhibits cell proliferation and migration in hepatic carcinoma,and thus EB is a promising anti-tumor compound that can be used for hepatic carcinoma. | Yonghui Zhang Haoyang Zhang Jinage Mu Meiyue Han Zhihao Cao Feng Dong Tingting Wang Lian Pan Wujing Luo Jiaxin Li Huan Liu Lishan Jin Wenxuan Ding Yong Wei Xuesong Deng Dan Liu Xiuzhen He Yi Pang Xiao Mu Zhongjun Wu Dilong Chen | 2022 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2022,54,7: | 1 |
| 5 | Use of 1.32-μm and 1.06-μm wavelength lasers for vascular cutting in a porcine model of liver and stomach bleeding显示文摘Objective The aim of this study was to analyze and evaluate 1.32-μm and 1.06-μm neodymium-doped yttrium aluminum garnet(Nd:YAG) lasers for use in liver and gastroepiploic vessel vaporization and coagulation. Methods The effects of 1.32-μm and 1.06-μm Nd:YAG lasers were compared for gastroepiploic vessel hemostasis in porcine liver.Results The results were observed and measured under the same parameters and dose conditions. The 1.32-μm laser showed greater vaporization width and depth than the 1.06-μm laser. Both lasers controlled active bleeding. The coagulation band with the 1.32-μm laser was thinner than with the 1.06-μm laser, at nearly 3 mm. After cutting of 1-and 2-mm porcine vessels, no grossly visible bleeding was apparent. Intravascular thrombus was visible under the microscope. The length of vessel thrombosis in the experimental group was 2 mm and the diameter was 2 mm; the control group exhibited thrombi as 2.3–4.9 mm in length.
