2Highly Stretchable and Transparent Ionic Conductor with Novel Hydrophobicity and Extreme-Temperature Tolerance显示文摘Highly stretchable and transparent ionic conducting materials have enabled new concepts of electronic devices denoted as iontronics,with a distinguishable working mechanism and performances from the conventional electronics.However,the existing ionic conducting materials can hardly bear the humidity and temperature change of our daily life,which has greatly hindered the development and real-world application of iontronics.Herein,we design an ion gel possessing unique traits of hydrophobicity,humidity insensitivity,wide working temperature range(exceeding 100℃,and the range covered our daily life temperature),high conductivity(10^(-3)~10^(-5) S/cm),extensive stretchability,and high transparency,which is among the bestperforming ionic conductors ever developed for flexible iontronics.Several ion gel-based iontronics have been demonstrated,including large-deformation sensors,electroluminescent devices,and ionic cables,which can serve for a long time under harsh conditions.The designed material opens new potential for the real-world application progress of iontronics.Lei Shi Kun Jia Yiyang Gao Hua Yang Yaming Ma Shiyao Lu Guoxin Gao Huaitian Bu Tongqing Lu Shujiang Ding 2020Research2020,,1:7
3The alignment of AlN platelets in polymer matrix and its anisotropic thermal properties显示文摘The thermal conductivity of polymer composites can be enhanced by the vertical alignment of anisotropic aluminum nitride(AlN)platelet fillers in polymer matrices.The AlN platelets in polymer matrix were aligned in the direction of in-plane and out-of-plane by using the doctor blading and the lamination process.The alignment of AlN plates in the out-of-plane or the in-plane direction has been confirmed by XRD and FE-SEM investigations.The polymer composite with the out-of-plane aligned AlN platelets showed almost 1.5 times or 2 times higher thermal conductivity than those with the AlN spheres or the in-plane aligned AlN platelets at the same filler content,respectively.This result could be attributed to the improvement of thermal pathway generated along the plane of platelets and the decrease of interfaces between the filler and the polymer.Chang-Yeoul Kim Thi My Linh Dang Yaming Zhang Jian-Feng Yang Bo Wang 2019Journal of Materiomics2019,5,4:4
4Preparation and characterization of pure SiC ceramics by high temperature physical vapor transport induced by seeding with nano SiC particles显示文摘High temperature physical vapor transport(HTPVT) was employed to grow polycrystalline SiC ceramics with high density and purity, induced by nano SiC particles as seeds. The obtained SiC ceramics were identified as 6 H-SiC with a mainly preferred orientation along the(0 0 0 6) plane, and an obvious refinement of grain size was demonstrated for the SiC seeds. Mean grain sizes of the obtained SiC ceramics were112 μm and 314 μm, by using the SiC seeds with the mean particle size of 50 nm and 500 nm, respectively,which were obviously smaller than that of the seed-free sample(960 μm). The samples obtained with the seeds also demonstrated enhanced flexural strength and hardness, attributing to the reduced mean grain size. Furthermore, SiC ceramics without seeds via HTPVT exhibited a high thermal conductivity of242 W·(m·K)^-1 at room temperature due to the highly preferred orientation. While the degree of preferred orientation of seed-induced samples was lower, the thermal conductivity of SiC ceramics induced by seeding still maintained at least 200 W·(m·K)^-1 at room temperature, this level was much higher than most other methods. 5Single-cell RNA sequencing reveals Nestin+active neural stem cells outside the central canal after spinal cord injury显示文摘Neural stem cells(NSCs)in the spinal cord hold great potential for repair after spinal cord injury(SCI).The ependyma in the central canal(CC)region has been considered as the NSCs source in the spinal cord.However,the ependyma function as NSCs after SCI is still under debate.We used Nestin as a marker to isolate potential NSCs and their immediate progeny,and characterized the cells before and after SCI by single-cell RNA-sequencing(scRNA-seq).We identified two subgroups of NSCs:the subgroup located within the CC cannot prime to active NSCs after SCI,while the subgroup located outside the CC were activated and exhibited the active NSCs properties after SCI.We demonstrated the comprehensive dynamic transcriptome of NSCs from quiescent to active NSCs after SCI.This study reveals that Nestin+cells outside CC were NSCs that activated upon SCI and may thus serve as endogenous NSCs for regenerative treatment of SCI in the future.Muya Shu Xiaoyu Xue Hu Nie Xianming Wu Minghan Sun Lianyong Qiao Xing Li Bai Xu Zhifeng Xiao Yannan Zhao Yongheng Fan Bing Chen Jixiang Zhang Ya Shi Yaming Yang Falong Lu Jianwu Dai 2022Science China(Life Sciences)2022,65,2:2
6Dynamics and manipulation of ferroelectric domain walls in bismuth ferrite thin films显示文摘Ferroelectric domain walls differ from domains not only in their crystalline and discrete symmetry,but also in their electronic,magnetic,and mechanical properties.Although domain walls provide a degree of freedom to regulate the physical properties at the nanoscale;the relatively lower controllability prevents their practical applications in nano-devices.In this work;with the advantages of 3D domain configuration detection based on piezoresponse force microscopy;we find that the mobility of three types of domain walls(tail-to-tail,head-to-tail,head-to-head)in(001)BiFeO3 films varies with the applied electrical field.Under low voltages;head-to-tail domain walls are more mobile than other domain walls;while,under high voltages,tail-to-tail domain walls become rather active and possess relatively long average lengths.This is due to the high nucleation energy and relatively low growth energy for charged domain walls.Finally;we demonstrate the manipulation of domain walls through successive electric writings,resulting in well-aligned conduction paths as designed;paving the way for their application in advanced spintronic;memory and communication nano-devices.Shuyu Xiao Yaming Jin Xiaomei Lu Sang-Wook Cheong Jiangyu Li Yang Li Fengzhen Huang Jinsong Zhu 2020National Science Review2020,7,2:2

8Lineage tracing reveals the origin of Nestin-positive cells are heterogeneous and rarely from ependymal cells after spinal cord injury显示文摘Nestin is expressed extensively in neural stem/progenitor cells during neural development, but its expression is mainly restricted to the ependymal cells in the adult spinal cord. After spinal cord injury(SCI), Nestin expression is reactivated and Nestinpositive(Nestin;) cells aggregate at the injury site. However, the derivation of Nestin;cells is not clearly defined. Here, we found that Nestin expression was substantially increased in the lesion edge and lesion core after SCI. Using a tamoxifen inducible CreER(T2)-loxP system, we verified that ependymal cells contribute few Nestin;cells either to the lesion core or the lesion edge after SCI. In the lesion edge, GFAP+astrocytes were the main cell type that expressed Nestin;they then formed an astrocyte scar.In the lesion core, Nestin;cells expressed αSMA or Desmin, indicating that they might be derived from pericytes. 15Clinical Significance and Levels of NLRP3,MUC5AC,and MUC5B in Asthma显示文摘Objective:To explore the role of NLRP3 in mucus hypersecretion in asthmatic patients.Methods:From January 2020 to June 2022,90 patients with asthma and 60 healthy patients under the Department of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine of the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Medical University were selected.Immunohistochemistry and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay were performed.NLRP3 inflammasome and mucins MUC5AC and MUC5B levels in lung tissue and sputum were detected.Results:Compared to the healthy control group,the asthma group had significantly higher sputum MUC5A(20.12±5.07 versus 36.21±6.13)and NLRP3(72.31±15.13 versus 119.21±31.21)levels(P<0.05)but lower MUC5B levels(1.35±0.12 versus 0.53±0.11,P<0.05).Immunohistochemistry showed that NLRP3,MUC5AC,and MUC5B expressions were consistent with the sputum results.Conclusion:NLRP3 and MUC5AC levels are significantly increased in asthmatic patients,whereas MUC5B levels are reduced in these patients.They can be used as targets for the diagnosis and treatment of asthma.Yang Yao Siyu Li Jing Zhou Yao Tian Jinzhao Zhang Yaming Li Shengyu Wang 2023Journal of Clinical and Nursing Research2023,7,2:0

17Gadolinium-based contrast agents built of DO3A-pyridine scaffold:Precisely tuning carboxylate group for enhanced magnetic resonance imaging显示文摘It is greatly desired to develop novel gadolinium-based contrast agents(GBCAs)as improved platforms for magnetic resonance imaging(MRI).Herein,we report the syntheses of a series of nonionic cyclenbased GBCAs by precisely tuning carboxylate group on DO3A-pyridine scaffold.[Gd-DO3A-4cp]is isolated which adopts an octadentate coordination mode with a free carboxylate group at 4-position of pyridine.It shows the r_(1)relaxivity of 5.8(mmol/L)^(-1)s^(-1)(3 T,25℃),which is 75%higher than 3.3(mmol/L)^(-1)s^(-1)of the clinic used[Gd-DOTA].The possible mechanisms behind the enhanced relaxivity are investigated and proposed by structure-property relationship studies.After validation of low cytotoxicity and considerable kinetic inertness,in-vivo studies are further examined,demonstrating its good MRI performance,biodistribution as well as the way of excretion.Yongyin Geng Tianze Wu Qiuyue Han Yongtai Yang Zhenxia Chen Xuanxuan Li Bo Yin Yaming Zhou Yun Ling 2023Chinese Chemical Letters2023,34,6:0
