| 1 | Edge-preserving image decomposition via joint weighted least squares显示文摘Recent years have witnessed the emergence of image decomposition techniques which effectively separate an image into a piecewise smooth base layer and several residual detail layers. However, the intricacy of detail patterns in some cases may result in side-effects including remnant textures, wronglysmoothed edges, and distorted appearance. We introduce a new way to construct an edge-preserving image decomposition with properties of detail smoothing, edge retention, and shape fitting. Our method has three main steps: suppressing highcontrast details via a windowed variation similarity measure, detecting salient edges to produce an edgeguided image, and fitting the original shape using a weighted least squares framework. Experimental results indicate that the proposed approach can appropriately smooth non-edge regions even when textures and structures are similar in scale. | 2 | Wide range temperature detection with hybrid nanoparticles traced by surface-enhanced Raman scattering显示文摘We report on the fabrication of a class of surface-enhanced Raman scattering(SERS)active thermometers,which consists of60 nm gold nanoparticles,encoded with Raman-active dyes,and a layer of thermoresponsive poly(N-isopropylacrylamide)(PNIPAM)brush with different chain lengths.These SERS-active nanoparticles can be optimized to maintain spectrally silent when staying as single particles in dispersion.Increasing temperature in a wide range from 25 to 55°C can reversibly induce the interparticle self-aggregation and turn on the SERS fingerprint signals with up to 58-fold of enhancement by taking advantage of the interparticle plasmonic coupling generated in the process of thermo-induced nanoparticles self-aggregation.Moreover,the most significative point is that these SERS probes could maintain their response to temperature and present all fingerprint signals in the presence of a colored complex.However,the UV-Vis spectra can distinguish the differences faintly and the solution color shows little change in such complex mixture.This proof-of-concept and Raman technique applied here allow for dynamic SERS platform for onsite temperature detection in a wide temperature range and offer unique advantages over other detection schemes. | YIN Jun HE YaGuang LI Wei WU ZongQuan DING YunSheng | 2014 | Science China Chemistry2014,57,3: | 2 |
| 3 | Band-gap-tailored random laser显示文摘A band-gap-tailored random laser with a wide tunable range and low threshold through infrared radiation is demonstrated. When fluorescent dyes are doped into the liquid crystal and heavily doped chiral agent system,we demonstrate a wavelength tuning random laser instead of a side-band laser, which is caused by the combined effect of multi-scattering of liquid crystal(LC) and band-gap control. | 6 | Interface Engineered Microcellular Magnetic Conductive Polyurethane Nanocomposite Foams for Electromagnetic Interference Shielding显示文摘Lightweight microcellular polyurethane(TPU)/carbon nanotubes(CNTs)/nickel-coated CNTs(Ni@CNTs)/polymerizable ionic liquid copolymer(PIL)composite foams are prepared by non-solvent induced phase separation(NIPS).CNTs and Ni@CNTs modified by PIL provide more heterogeneous nucleation sites and inhibit the aggregation and combination of microcellular structure.Compared with TPU/CNTs,the TPU/CNTs/PIL and TPU/CNTs/Ni@CNTs/PIL composite foams with smaller microcellular structures have a high electromagnetic interference shielding effectiveness(EMI SE).The evaporate time regulates the microcellular structure,improves the conductive network of composite foams and reduces the microcellular size,which strengthens the multiple reflections of electromagnetic wave.The TPU/10CNTs/10Ni@CNTs/PIL foam exhibits slightly higher SE values(69.9 dB)compared with TPU/20CNTs/PIL foam(53.3 dB).The highest specific EMI SE of TPU/20CNTs/PIL and TPU/10CNTs/10Ni@CNTs/PIL reaches up to 187.2 and 211.5 dB/(g cm^(−3)),respectively.The polarization losses caused by interfacial polarization between TPU substrates and conductive fillers,conduction loss caused by conductive network of fillers and magnetic loss caused by Ni@CNT synergistically attenuate the microwave energy. | Guolong Sang Pei Xu Tong Yan Vignesh Murugadoss Nithesh Naik Yunsheng Ding Zhanhu Guo | 2021 | Nano-Micro Letters2021,13,10: | 1 |

| 8 | Wide tunable laser based on electrically regulated bandwidth broadening in polymer-stabilized cholesteric liquid crystal显示文摘Electrically responsive photonic crystals represent one of the most promising intelligent material candidates for technological applications in optoelectronics. In this research, dye-doped polymer-stabilized cholesteric liquid crystals(PSCLCs) with negative dielectric anisotropy were fabricated, and mirrorless lasing with an electrically tunable wavelength was successfully achieved. Unlike conventional liquid-crystal lasers, the proposed laser aided in tuning the emission wavelength through controlling the reflection bandwidth based on gradient pitch distribution. The principal advantage of the electrically controlled dye-doped PSCLC laser is that the electric field is applied parallel to the helical axis, which changes the pitch gradient instead of rotating the helix axis, thus keeping the heliconical structure intact during lasing. | 11 | Exponentially increased nucleation ability for poly(L-lactide) by adding acid-oxidized multiwalled carbon nanotubes with reduced aspect ratios显示文摘Acid-oxidized multiwalled carbon nanotubes (A-MWCNTs) with a range of reduced aspect ratios (from about 11 to 5.8) were obtained by acid oxidization of MWCNTs in the mixture of HNO 3 and H 2 SO 4 for varying periods of 1, 3, 8 and 12 h, respec- tively. The aspect ratios and surface functionalization of A-MWCNTs were well characterized by scanning electron microsco- py (SEM), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), Raman spectroscopy and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). Poly(L-lactide)/A-MWCNT composites containing 0.5 wt% A-MWCNTs with a range of reduced aspect ratios were prepared by solution cast. The effects of added A-MWCNTs on the isothermal crystallization kinetics of poly(L-lactide)/A-MWCNT composites were investigated by means of differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), rheology and polarized optical microscopy (POM). It is surprising to find that not only the addition of A-MWCNTs effectively increases the poly(L-lactide) (PLA) crys- tallization kinetics, but also the nucleation ability of A-MWCNTs for PLA crystallization exponentially increases with the re- duced aspect ratio, that is to say, those with lower aspect ratios show much stronger nucleation ability for PLA crystallization than those with higher aspect ratios. | 12 | Cloning and Bioinformatics Analysis of vscB Gene of T3SS Chaperone of Vibrio alginolyticus显示文摘[Objectives]To clone and analyze the vscB gene of Vibrio alginolyticus HY9901 by bioinformatics.[Methods]A pair of specific primers were designed according to the vscB gene sequence of Vibrio alginolyticus HY9901.The full length of the primers was cloned by PCR and analyzed by bioinformatics.[Results]The vscB gene was 429 bp long,encoding 142 amino acids,with a theoretical molecular weight of 16.4 kDa and a pI value of 5.48.Amino acid sequence analysis of VscB showed that VscB was not a secretory protein,without signal peptide and transmembrane region,and there were protein kinase C phosphorylation site and casein kinase II phosphorylation site in the sequence.Homologous comparison of amino acid sequences showed that VscB of V.alginolyticus had the highest protein similarity with Vibrio Parahaemolyticus,reaching 91%.Phylogenetic tree analysis showed that the corresponding proteins of V.alginolyticus VscB,Vibrio Parahaemolyticus and Vibrio diabolicus were clustered in the same subfamily.Functional domain analysis showed that it had CesT family domain.Tertiary structure prediction showed that there were 3α-helices and 5β-turns in VscB protein.[Conclusions]This study provided a theoretical basis for further study on the function of chaperone of V.alginolyticus. | Hongwei ZHENG Liangchuan CHEN Haiyun FENG Yunsheng CHANG Yu DING Weijie ZHANG Huanying PANG Na WANG | 2023 | Asian Agricultural Research2023,15,4: | 0 |
