| 1 | Ultrasonic concentration measurement of citrus pectin aqueous solutions using PC and PLS regression显示文摘This work demonstrated the use of multivariate statistical techniques called principal component(PC)and partial least squares(PLS)to extract the acoustic features of citrus pectin water solution.The concentration of citrus pectin water solution was predicted by PC and PLS regression method using the spectra of ultrasound pulse echoes travelling through mixtures.The values of root mean square error of validation(RMSEV)were 0.0675 g/100 g and 0.0662 g/100 g for PC and PLS regression model,respectively.Since the response variable was taken into account,PLS regression model was more accurate than PC regression model.Also,a method for temperature compensation was proposed to correct the impact of temperature variation on analyzed data.The proposed methods for pectin concentration measurement are easily adaptable to similar applications using existing hardware. | Meng Ruifeng Zhong Jianjun Zhang Lifen Ye Xingqian Liu Donghong | 2012 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2012,5,2: | 2 |
| 2 | Multi-scale Simulation on Bonding Mechanism of Solid-Liquid Cast-Rolling of Cu/Al Cladding Strip based on FEM and MD显示文摘To explore the complex thermal-mechanical-chemical behavior in the solid-liquid cast-roll bonding(SLCRB) of Cu/Al cladding strip, numerical simulations were conducted from both macro and micro scales. In macro-scale, with birth and death element method, a thermo-mechanical coupled finite element model(FEM) was set up to explore the temperature and contact pressure distribution at the Cu/Al bonding interface in the SLCRB process. Taking these macro-scale simulation results as boundary conditions, we simulated the atom diffusion law of the bonding interface by molecular dynamics(MD) in micro-scale. The results indicate that the temperature in Cu/Al bonding interface deceases from 700 to 320 ℃ from the entrance to the exit of caster, and the peak of contact pressure reaches up to 140 MPa. The interfacial diffusion thickness depends on temperature and rolling reduction, higher temperature results in larger thickness, and the rolling reduction below kiss point leads to significant elongation deformation of cladding strip which yields more newborn interface with fresh metal and make the diffusion layer thinner. The surface roughness of Cu strip was found to be benefit to atoms diffusion in the Cu/Al bonding interface. Meanwhile, combined with the SEM-EDS observation on the microstructure and composition in the bonding interface of the experimental samples acquired from the castrolling bite, it is revealed that the rolling reduction and severe elongation deformation in the solid-solid contact zone below kiss point guarantee the satisfactory metallurgical bonding with thin and smooth diffusion layer. | 5 | Lessons learned from ECMO support in pediatric patients with D-transposition of the great arteries:preoperative,intraoperative and postoperative显示文摘Background Extracorporeal membrane oxygenation(ECMO)support on D-transposition of the great arteries(D-TGA)carries formidable challenges.Methods A retrospective study was performed on pediatric patients with D-TGA supported by ECMO from July 2007 to December 2019.This study summarized the clinical experience of ECMO support in pediatric patients with D-TGA preoperative,intraoperative,and postoperative.Results Overall,16 children with D-TGA received ECMO support during this period.Two(2 of 16)were supported before cardiac surgery,3(3 of 16)were supported postoperatively in the intensive care unit,and 11(11 of 16)failed to wean off cardiopulmonary bypass.Two cases of preoperative ECMO support for patients with D-TGA with an intact ventricular septum and restrictive atrial septum due to severe hypoxemia died.In this study,D-TGA with coronary artery malformation and other complicated deformities died(8 of 14),whereas uncomplicated D-TGA without coronary artery malformation all survived(6 of 14).The wean-off rate of ECMO patients supported in D-TGA was 62.5%(10 of 16),while the 30-day survival rate was 44%(7 of 16).Conclusion Although a promising ECMO weaning rate was obtained,30-day survival of this population was frustrating,mainly attributed to the original anatomy of coronary arteries and the concomitant deformities. | Lijun Yang Lifen Ye Jiangen Yu Jianhua Li Zewei Zhang Qiang Shu Ru Lin | 2021 | World Journal of Pediatric Surgery2021,4,4: | 0 |
