| 1 | Dynamic Topology Multi Force Particle Swarm Optimization Algorithm and Its Application显示文摘Particle swarm optimization(PSO) algorithm is an effective bio-inspired algorithm but it has shortage of premature convergence. Researchers have made some improvements especially in force rules and population topologies. However, the current algorithms only consider a single kind of force rules and lack consideration of comprehensive improvement in both multi force rules and population topologies. In this paper, a dynamic topology multi force particle swarm optimization(DTMFPSO) algorithm is proposed in order to get better search performance. First of all, the principle of the presented multi force particle swarm optimization(MFPSO) algorithm is that different force rules are used in different search stages, which can balance the ability of global and local search. Secondly, a fitness-driven edge-changing(FE) topology based on the probability selection mechanism of roulette method is designed to cut and add edges between the particles, and the DTMFPSO algorithm is proposed by combining the FE topology with the MFPSO algorithm through concurrent evolution of both algorithm and structure in order to further improve the search accuracy. Thirdly, Benchmark functions are employed to evaluate the performance of the DTMFPSO algorithm, and test results show that the proposed algorithm is better than the well-known PSO algorithms, such as μPSO, MPSO, and EPSO algorithms. Finally, the proposed algorithm is applied to optimize the process parameters for ultrasonic vibration cutting on Si C wafer, and the surface quality of the Si C wafer is improved by 12.8% compared with the PSO algorithm in Ref. [25]. | 3 | Study on vertical mandibular distraction osteogenesis using magnesium alloy on canine显示文摘The bone formation feasibility by a novel magnesium alloy device was evaluated using a canine vertical mandibular distraction osteogenesis(DO) model. Osteotomies were performed in the area where last 3 star's teeth of left mandibular were pulled out before 3 months. Both AZ31 magnesium alloy(n ? 6) and 316 L stainless steel(n ? 6) distraction devices were implanted. The distraction osteogenesis was carried out with a latency of 5 days after mandibular osteotomy. Distraction proceeded at a rate of 0.3 mm/8 h for 7 days and followed by 4 weeks of consolidations. The evaluations were conducted by scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and histological examinations. There were osteoblasts and trabecular bones formations manifestly in both groups. There was no significant difference in the bone mineral density between the two groups. The surface of the magnesium alloy was much more cracked and uneven, resulting from the surface pitting corrosion. The crew nails were closely combined with the surrounding bone tissue. AZ31 magnesium alloy exhibited a certain degradation rate in mandibular and did not post a negative effect on the kidney and liver. | 4 | The Uniform Distribution of SiC Particles in an A356-SiC_p Composite Produced by the Tilt-blade Mechanical Stirring显示文摘The tilt-blade mechanical stirring of A356-2.5vol.%SiCp liquid was conducted in a cylindrical crucible to solve the problem of nonhomogeneous radial distribution of SiC particles in conventional straight-blade mechanical stirring. The radial distribution of SiC particles in A356 liquid was studied under the conditions of 25° for horizontal tilt angle α of the blade, 200 r/min for rotating speed of stirrer and 10 mm/s for speed of moving up and down of stirrer. The results show that there exists a nonlinear relationship between circumferential tilt angle β of the blade and radial relative deviation d of SiCp content in A356 liquid. When β is smaller than 26°, the d of SiCp content in A356 liquid between the center and the periphery of crucible decreases with increasing β. Conversely, when β is bigger than 26 , d increases with increasing β. Only when β is about 26°, d can be equal to nought i.e. uniform radial distribution of SiC particles can be realized. | 7 | Facile designing a superhydrophobic anti-icing surface applied for reliable long-term deicing显示文摘While superhydrophobic coatings have shown promise as potential anti-icing coatings, the surface roughness of these coatings is prone to damage during repeated icing-deicing cycles. Herein, two kinds of superhydrophobic anti-icing coatings are prepared from organic resin and micro-nano particles using two strategies, and their excellent anti-icing properties are also investigated. However, superhydrophobic surface Ⅰ(SF1), prepared by first strategy, cannot be used for extended periods of time due to irreversible damage to the surface roughness during the icing–deicing process. Finite element simulations and experimental studies are preformed to investigate the fatal issue of such roughness damage. In contrast,the anti-icing properties of superhydrophobic surface Ⅱ(SF2), prepared by second strategy, can easily regain through a simple sandpaper abrasion treatment even the surface roughness was damaged during the icing–deicing process. | 9 | OpNAC1 transcription factor regulates the biosynthesis of the anticancer drug camptothecin by targeting loganic acid O-methyltransferase in Ophiorrhiza pumila显示文摘Camptothecin(CPT) is an anticancer pentacyclic quinoline alkaloid widely used to treat cancer patients worldwide. However, the biosynthetic pathway and transcriptional regulation of camptothecin are largely unknown. Ophiorrhiza pumila, the herbaceous plant from the Rubiaceae family, has emerged as a model plant for studying camptothecin biosynthesis and regulation. In this study, a high-quality reference genome of O. pumila with estimated size of ~456.90Mb was reported, and the accumulation level of camptothecin in roots was higher than that in stems and leaves. Based on its spatial distribution in the plant, we examined gene functions and expression by combining genomics with transcriptomic analysis.Two loganic acid O-methyltransferase(OpLAMTs)were identified in strictosidine-producing plant O.pumila, and enzyme catalysis assays showed that OpLAMT1 and not OpLAMT2 could convert loganic acid into loganin. Further knock-out of OpL AMT1expression led to the elimination of loganin and camptothecin accumulation in O. pumila hairy roots.Four key residues were identified in OpLAMT1 protein crucial for the catalytic activity of loganic acid to loganin. By co-expression network, we identified a NAC transcription factor, OpNAC1, as a candidate gene for regulating camptothecin biosynthesis.Transgenic hairy roots and biochemical assays demonstrated that OpNAC1 suppressed OpLAMT1 expression. | 10 | Rational design of stretchable and conductive hydrogel binder for highly reversible SiP2 anode显示文摘The emerging SiP2with large capacity and suitable plateau is proposed to be the alternative anode for Li-ion batteries.However,typical SiP2still suffers from serious volume expansion and structural destruction,resulting in much Li-consumption and capacity fading.Herein,a novel stretchable and conductive Li-PAA@PEDOT:PSS binder is rationally designed to improve the cyclability and reversibility of SiP2.Interestingly,such Li-PAA@PEDOT:PSS hydrogel enables a better accommodation of volume expansion than PVDF binder(e.g.5.94% vs.68.73% of expansivity).More specially,the SiP2electrode with LiPAA@PEDOT:PSS binder is surprisingly found to enable unexpected structural recombination and selfhealing Li-storage processes,endowing itself with a high initial Coulombic efficiency(ICE) up to 93.8%,much higher than PVDF binder(ICE=70.7%) as well.Such unusual phenomena are investigated in detail for Li-PAA@PEDOT:PSS,and the possible mechanism shows that its Li-PAA component enables to prevent the pulverization of SiP2nanoparticles while the PEDOT:PSS greatly bridges fast electronic connection for the whole electrode.Consequently,after being further composited with carbon matrix,the SiP2/C with LiPAA@PEDOT:PSS hydrogel exhibits high reversibility(ICE> 93%),superior cyclability(>450 cycles),and rate capability(1520 mAh/g at 2000 mA/g) for LIBs.This highly stretchable and conductive binder design can be easily extended to other alloying materials toward advanced energy storage. | Xuhao Liu Runzhe Yao Siqi Wang Yaqing Wei Bin Chen Wei Liang Caiyun Tian Chengyu Nie De Li Yong Chen | 2023 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,8: | 0 |
| 11 | Fe_(3)C@C/C for catalytic ozonation of silicon-containing wastewater:Dual improvement of silicon resistance and catalytic effect显示文摘The improvement of catalysts’stability under harsh reaction conditions is vital for their practical applica-bility.Herein,iron carbide(Fe_(3)C)nanoparticles were encapsulated in graphitic carbon in situ and a carbon ball served as the carrier.The synthesized Fe_(3)C@C/C was first utilized to treat an m-cresol wastewater containing Si via catalytic ozonation.Compared with the commercial Fe/Al_(2)O_(3)catalyst,the resistance to Si of the Fe_(3)C@C/C was improved 22.68 times,while the TOC removal rate increased by a factor of 2.9,and it remained stable during 10 cycles and 12000 min of continuous reaction,which further demon-strated its potential for diverse applications.The catalyst exhibits improved resistance to Si because of the dual protection from the carbon-encapsulated structure and carbon carrier.Density functional theory calculations show that the encapsulation of Fe_(3)C using carbon significantly increases the resistance to adsorption of Si on its active sites.In addition,the activation of O_(3)is unimpeded on the Fe_(3)C adsorption sites by the protection from C,thus the generation of reactive oxygen species(ROS)by ozone is largely promoted.The mechanism associated with the resistance of the Fe_(3)C@C/C catalyst to Si and its elevated activity are also elucidated. | Shengzhe Wang Lei Ma Rui Wang Chengyu Jin Ying Zhao Xuefei Tan Yanan Zhang Mengyang Liu Chenxing Yao Huangzhao Wei Chenglin Sun | 2023 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,5: | 0 |
