| 1 | The Epitope Study on the SARS-CoV Nucleocapsid Protein显示文摘The nucleocapsid protein (N protein) has been found to be an antigenic protein in a number of coronaviruses. Whether the N protein in severe acute respiratory syndrome-associated coronavirus (SARS-CoV) is antigenic remains to be elucidated. Using Western blot and Enzyme-linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA),the recombinant N proteins and the synthesized peptides derived from the N protein were screened in sera from SARS patients. All patient sera in this study displayed strong positive immunoreactivities against the recombinant N proteins,whereas normal sera gave negative immunoresponses to these proteins, indicating that the N protein of SARS-CoV is an antigenic protein. Furthermore, the epitope sites in the N protein were determined by competition experiments, in which the recombinant proteins or the synthesized peptides competed against the SARS-CoV proteins to bind to the antibodies raised in SARS sera. One epitope site located at the C-terminus was confirmed as the most antigenic region in this protein. A detailed screening of peptide with ELISA demonstrated that the amino sequence from Codons 371 to 407 was the epitope site at the C-terminus of the N protein. | 2 | Nonlinear vibration response characteristics of a dual-rotor-bearing system with squeeze film damper显示文摘Rolling bearing and Squeeze Film Damper(SFD)are used in rotor support structures,and most researches on the nonlinear rotor-bearing system are focused on the simple rotor-bearing systems.This work emphasizes the comparative analysis of the influence of SFD on the nonlinear dynamic behavior of the dual-rotor system supported by rolling bearings.Firstly,a reduced dynamic model is established by combining the Finite Element(FE)method and the freeinterface method of component mode synthesis.The proposed model is verified by comparing the natural characteristics obtained from an FE model with those from the experiment.Then,the steady-state vibration responses of the system with or without SFD are solved by the numerical integration method.The influences of the ball bearing clearance,unbalance,centralizing spring stiffness and oil film clearance of SFD on the nonlinear steady-state vibration responses of the dual-rotor system are analyzed.Results show that SFD can effectively suppress the amplitude jump of the dual rotor system sustaining two rotors unbalance excitations.As the ball bearing clearance or unbalance increases,the amplitude jump phenomenon becomes more obvious,the resonance hysteresis phenomenon strengthens or weakens,the resonant peaks shift to the left or the right,respectively.SFD with unreasonable parameters will aggravate the system vibration,the smaller the oil film clearance,the better the damping performance of the SFD,the larger the centralizing spring stiffness is,the larger resonance amplitudes are. | Xinxing MA Hui MA Haiqin QIN Xumin GUO Chenguang ZHAO Mingyue YU | 2021 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2021,34,10: | 3 |
| 3 | Transcriptome-wide evolutionary analysis on essential brown algae(Phaeophyceae)in China显示文摘Brown algae(Chromista,Ochrophyta,Phaeophyceae) are a large group of multicellular algae that play important roles in the ocean's ecosystem and biodiversity.However,poor molecular bases for studying their phylogenetic evolutions and novel metabolic characteristics have hampered progress in the field.In this study,we sequenced the de novo transcriptome of 18 major species of brown algae in China,covering six orders and seven families,using the high-throughput sequencing platform Illumina HiSeq 2000.From the transcriptome data of these 18 species and publicly available genome data of Ectocarpus siliculosus and Phaeodactylum tricornutum,we identified 108 nuclear-generated orthologous genes and clarified the phylogenetic relationships among these brown algae based on a multigene method.These brown algae could be separated into two clades: Clade Ishigeales-Dictyotales and Clade Ectocarpales-Laminariales-Desmarestiale-Fucales.The former was at the base of the phylogenetic tree,indicating its early divergence,while the latter was divided into two branches,with Order Fucales diverging from Orders Ectocarpales,Laminariales,and Desmarestiale.In our analysis of taxonomy-contentious species,Sargassum fusiforme and Saccharina sculpera were found to be closely related to genera Sargassum and Saccharina,respectively,while Petalonia fascia showed possible relation to genus Scytosiphon.The study provided molecular evidence for the phylogenetic taxonomy of brown algae. | SUN Jing WANG Liang WU Shuangxiu WANG Xumin XIAO Jingfa CHI Shan LIU Cui REN Lufeng ZHAO Yuhui LIU Tao YU Jun | 2014 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2014,33,2: | 2 |

| 7 | Compact logic operator utilizing a single-layer metasurface显示文摘In this paper, we design and demonstrate a compact logic operator based on a single-layer metasurface at microwave frequency. By mapping the nodes in the trained fully connected neural network(FCNN) to the specific unit cells with phase control function of the metasurface, a logic operator with only one hidden layer is physically realized. When the incident wave illuminates specific operating regions of the metasurface, corresponding unit cells are activated and can scatter the incident wave to two designated zones containing logical information in the output layer. The proposed metasurface logic operator is experimentally verified to achieve three basic logic operations(NOT, OR, and AND) under different input signals.
