(Holotype HNUL 03080902, adult male, SVL: 38.2 mm), from Sangzhi County, Hunan Province, is described. Megophrystuberogranulatus is closely related to both Megophrys kuatunensis and Megophrys minor. Characters of the new species that differentiatethis species from close relatives are skin granulated with big tubercles on the dorsal sides of both thigh and tibia, thebigger inner metacarpal tubercle, upper eyelid wider than the interorbital space, hind limbs longer, overlapping of the left andright calcaneal parts. | 5 | Movement and deformation laws of the overlying strata in paste filling stope显示文摘We combined the similar simulation with numerical simulation to analyze the movement and deforma- tion features of overlying strata caused by paste backfill mining, study the movement and deformation laws of the overlying strata in paste backfill mining, structural movement of the stope strata as well as the stope stress distribution laws. Furthermore, authors also explored the key factors to the movement and deformation of the overlying strata in paste backfill mining. The results indicate that a caving zone existed in the bending zone only in the overlying strata of the paste backfill mining. Compared with the roof caving mining, the degree of stress concentration and area of influence in the paste filling stope were apparently smaller. And the degree of destruction and area of the overlying strata decreased prominently. Also, there was no apparent strata behavior in the working face. Lastly, the filling ratio was the key to control the movement and deformation of the overlying strata. | 7 | ENPP1/PC-1 Gene K121Q Polymorphism Is Associated with Obesity in European Adult Populations: Evidence from A Meta-Analysis Involving 24 324 Subjects显示文摘Objective Findings from the previous studies have suggested a relationship between ectonucleotide pyrophosphatase /phosphodiesterase 1 (ENPP‐1) or plasma cell membrane glycoprotein 1 (PC‐1) gene single nucleotide polymorphism (K121Q, rs1044498) and genetic susceptibility to obesity. However, such relationship is not reproduced by some currently available studies. In this context, the present study is aimed to quantitatively analyze the association of K121Q variant with obesity in all published case‐control studies in European adult populations. Methods Published literature from PubMed, EMBASE, and ISI web of science databases were retrieved. The studies evaluating the association of ENPP1/PC1 gene K121Q polymorphism with obesity were included, in which sufficient data were presented to calculate the odds ratio (OR) with 95% confidence intervals (CIs). Results Ten case‐control studies meeting the inclusion criteria identified a total of 24,324 subjects including 11,372 obese and 12,952 control subjects. The meta‐analysis results showed a statistically significant association of K121Q with obesity [OR (95%CI): 1.25 (1.04‐1.52) P=0.021] under a recessive model of inheritance (QQ vs. KK+KQ) without heterogeneity or publication bias. | 13 | Dasatinib inhibits proliferation of liver cancer cells,but activation of Akt/mTOR compromises dasatinib as a cancer drug显示文摘Dasatinib is a multi-target protein tyrosine kinase inhibitor.Due to its potent inhibition of Src,Abl,the platelet-derived growth factor receptor(PDGFR)family kinases,and other oncogenic kinases,it has been investigated as a targeted therapy for a broad spectrum of cancer types.However,its efficacy has not been significantly extended beyond leukemia.The mechanism of resistance to dasatinib in a wide array of cancers is not clear.In the present study,we investigated the effect of dasatinib on hepatocellular carcinoma cell growth and explored the underlying mechanisms.Our results showed that dasatinib potently inhibited the proliferation of SNU-449 cells,but not that of other cell lines,such as SK-Hep-1,even though it inhibited the phosphorylation of Src on both negative and positive regulation sites in all these cells.Dasatinib activated the phosphoinositide-dependent protein kinase1(PDK1)/protein kinase B(Akt)/mammalian target of rapamycin(mTOR)signaling pathway in SK-Hep-1 cells,but not in SNU-449 cells.Blocking the Akt/mTOR signaling pathway strongly promoted the efficacy of dasatinib in SK-Hep-1 cells.In SNU-449 cells,dasatinib promoted apoptosis and the cleavage of caspase-3 and caspase-7,induced cell cycle arrest in the G1 phase,and inhibited the expression of Cyclin-dependent kinase(CDK4)/6/CyclinD1 complex.These findings demonstrate that dasatinib exerts its anti-proliferative effect on hepatocellular cell proliferation by blocking the Src family kinases;however,it causes Akt activation,which compromises dasatinib as an anti-cancer drug. | Chang Liu Xiaoxia Zhu Yuqi Jia Fenqing Chi Keru Qin Jinhong Pei Chan Zhang Xiuli Mu Hongwei Zhang Xiushan Dong Jun Xu Baofeng Yu | 2021 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2021，53，7： | 2 |

| 19 | Identification of zebrafish magnetoreceptor and cryptochrome homologs显示文摘Magnetoreception is essential for magnetic orientation in animal migration. The molecular basis for magnetoreception has recently been elucidated in fruitfly as complexes between the magnetic receptor magnetoreceptor(Mag R) and its ligand cryptochrome(Cry). Mag R and Cry are present in the animal kingdom. However, it is unknown whether they perform a conserved role in diverse animals. Here we report the identification and expression of zebrafish Mag R and Cry homologs towards understanding their roles in lower vertebrates. A single magr gene and 7 cry genes are present in the zebrafish genome. Zebrafish has four cry1 genes(cry1aa, cry1 ab, cry1 ba and cry1bb) homologous to human CRY1 and a single ortholog of human CRY2 as well as 2 cry-like genes(cry4 and cry5). By RT-PCR, magr exhibited a high level of ubiquitous RNA expression in embryos and adult organs, whereas cry genes displayed differential embryonic and adult expression. Importantly, magr depletion did not produce apparent abnormalities in organogenesis. Taken together, magr and cry2 exist as a single copy gene, whereas cry1 exists as multiple gene duplicates in zebrafish.
