2Magnetic properties and large magnetocaloric effects in amorphous Gd-Al-Fe alloys for magnetic refrigeration显示文摘A series of the amorphous Gd75-55Al25-5Fe0-40 alloy ribbons were prepared by melt spinning.The structure,magnetic properties and magnetocaloric effect(MCE) of these alloys were investigated.The prepared samples have shown the characteristics of a second-order phase transition with zero hysteresis loss and the Tc can be tuned by changing the Fe contents.For the different compositions,the magnetic entropy change(--Sm) for a field change of 0-5 T reached a maximum value of 7.14 J kg-1 K-1 in the Gd70Al20Fe10 alloy near its Curie temperature(Tc) of 149 K.The non-linear composition dependence of(-ΔSm) could be caused by the competitions between Fe-Fe,Fe-Gd and Gd-Gd interactions.The refrigeration capacity(RC) values of these alloys are about 532-780 J/kg under a magnetic field change of 0-5 T.The results indicate that amorphous GdFeAl alloys can be considered as ideal candidates for a magnetic refrigerant in the temperature range of 104-222 K.ZHENG ZhiGang ZHONG XiChun SU KunPeng YU HongYa LIU ZhongWu ZENG DeCheng 2011Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2011,54,7:8
3Controlled preparation of P-doped g-C3N4 nanosheets for efficient photocatalytic hydrogen production显示文摘Hydrogen production by photolysis of water by sunlight is an environmentally-friendly preparation technology for renewable energy.Graphitic carbon nitride(g-C3N4),despite with obvious catalytic effect,is still unsatisfactory for hydrogen production.In this work,phosphorus element is incorporated to tune g-C3N4's property through calcinating the mixture of g-C3N4 and Na H2PO2,sacrificial agent and co-catalyst also been supplied to help efficient photocatalytic hydrogen production.Phosphorus(P)doped g-C3N4 samples(PCN-S)were prepared,and their catalytic properties were studied.X-ray diffraction(XRD),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),scanning electron microscopy(SEM)and ultraviolet diffuse reflection(UV-DRS)were used to study their structures and morphologies.The results show that the reaction rate of PCN-S is 318μmol·h^-1·g^-1,which is 2.98 times as high as pure carbon nitride nanosheets(CN)can do.Our study paves a new avenue,which is simple,environment-friendly and sustainable,to synthesize highly efficient P doping g-C3N4 nanosheets for solar energy conversion.Qiachun Lin Zesheng Li Tingjian Lin Bolin Li Xichun Liao Huiqing Yu Changlin Yu 2020Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2020,28,10:6
4Precipitation Behavior of TiN in Bearing Steel显示文摘The precipitation behavior of titanium nitride (TiN) in bearing steel and effects of TiN inclusions on quality of the steel have been studied by thermodynamic calculation and experiment. The results show that with the increase of the content of Ti and [N], the properties of bearing steel decreased; adjusting the content of N and Ti could influence the precipitation occasion and condition of TiN in the steels. 5Treatment patterns for adjuvant docetaxel-based chemotherapy in early-stage breast cancer in China:A pooled retrospective analysis of four observational studies显示文摘Objective:Adjuvant docetaxel-based chemotherapy is frequently used for operable early breast cancer(EBC).This study investigated patterns of use of docetaxel(T)in real-life clinical practice in China.Methods:This was a retrospective pooled analysis of the Asia-Pacific Breast Initiatives(APBI)Ⅰ(2006–2008)and Ⅱ(2009–2011)registries,and two Chinese observational studies;BC STATE(2011–2014)and BC Local Registry(2007–2010).Female Chinese adults(≥18 years)with operable breast cancer treated with docetaxel-based adjuvant chemotherapy were included in the analysis.Patients with metastatic disease were excluded.The primary endpoint was assessment of treatment patterns and patient profiles.A logistic regression analysis was conducted to identify factors associated with choice of adjuvant chemotherapy regimen.Results:Data from 3,020 patients were included.The most frequently used adjuvant regimen was docetaxel/anthracycline combination[n=1,421(47.1%);of whom 52.0%received T/epirubicin(E)/cyclophosphamide(C)],followed by docetaxel/other[n=705(23.3%);of whom 72.8%received TC],docetaxel/anthracycline sequential[n=447(14.8%);of whom 40.9%and 39.6%received 5-Fu/EC-T and EC-T,respectively],and'other'[n=447(14.8%);of whom 91.5%received T].A significant association was found between adjuvant therapy with docetaxel/anthracycline combination and patient weight,menopausal status and estrogen receptor status.Conclusions:Real-world data revealed that docetaxel/anthracycline combination is the most commonly used category of docetaxel-based adjuvant therapy for patients with operable breast cancer in China;of which TEC is the most frequently used regimen.Binghe Xu Zhimin Shao Shui Wang Zefei Jiang Xichun Hu Xiaohua Zhang Xiru Li Jinping Liu Mengquan Li Shu Wang 2018Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2018,30,3:5
6Thermal Growth and Nanomagnetism of the Quasi-one Dimensional Iron Oxide显示文摘Quasi-one dimensional iron oxide nanowires with flat needle shape were synthesized on the iron powders by a rather simple catalyst-free thermal oxidation process in ambient atmosphere. The characterization by field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), X-ray diffraction (XRD), Raman and high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM) revealed that these nanostructures are single crystalline α-Fe2O3. The various dimensions with 40-170 nm in width and 1-8 μm in length were obtained by tuning the growth temperature from 280 to 480℃. A surface diffusion mechanism was proposed to account for the growth of quasi-one dimensional nanostructure. The typical α-Fe2O3 nanowires synthesized at 430℃ had a reduced Morin temperature TM of 131 K in comparison with their bulk counterpart. The coercivitis Hc of these nanowires are 321 and 65 Oe at 5 and 300 K, respectively. 8Microstructure improvement related coercivity enhancement for sintered NdFeB magnets after optimized additional heat treatment显示文摘The micro structure, especially the Nd-rich phase and the grain boundary, in sintered NdFeB magnets plays an important role in magnetic reversal and coercivity mechanism. To better understand the effects of the microstructure on the coercivity, we investigated the microstructure and properties improvements of a commercial sintered NdFeB magnet after optimized additional heat treatment. The coercivity is enhanced from 1399 to 1560 kA/m. This enhancement has been explained in terms of the evolution of the grain boundary structure, and the formation of continuous thin layers of Nd-rich phase is important for high coercivity. The micromagnetic simulation together with the numerical analysis based on the nucleation model suggest that the reversed magnetic domains nucleate mainly at the interface of multijunctions of Nd_2 Fe_(14)B grains with high stray fields during the demagnetization process. Both improved anisotropy fields at grain boundaries and reduced stray fields at multi-junction Nd-rich phases contribute to the coercivity enhancement. 9The jasmonate-induced bHLH gene SlJIG functions in terpene biosynthesis and resistance to insects and fungus显示文摘Jasmonic acid(JA)is a key regulator of plant defense responses.Although the transcription factor MYC2,the master regulator of the JA signaling pathway,orchestrates a hierarchical transcriptional cascade that regulates the JA responses,only a few transcriptional regulators involved in this cascade have been described.Here,we identified the basic helix-loop-helix(bHLH)transcription factor gene in tomato(Solanum lycopersicum),METHYL JASMONATE(MeJA)-INDUCED GENE(SlJIG),the expression of which was strongly induced by MeJA treatment.Genetic and molecular biology experiments revealed that SlJIG is a direct target of MYC2.SlJIG knockout plants generated by gene editing had lower terpene contents than the wild type from the lower expression of TERPENE SYNTHASE(TPS)genes,rendering them more appealing to cotton bollworm(Helicoverpa armigera).Moreover,SlJIG knockouts exhibited weaker JA-mediated induction of TPSs,suggesting that SlJIG may participate in JA-induced terpene biosynthesis.Knocking out SlJIG also resulted in attenuated expression of JA-responsive defense genes,which may contribute to the observed lower resistance to cotton bollworm and to the fungus Botrytis cinerea.We conclude that SlJIG is a direct target of MYC2,forms a MYC2-SlJIG module,and functions in terpene biosynthesis and resistance against cotton bollworm and B.cinerea.Yunyun Cao Lun Liu Kangsheng Ma Wenjing Wang Hongmei Lv Ming Gao Xinman Wang Xichun Zhang Shuxin Ren Na Zhang Yang-Dong Guo 2022Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2022,64,5:4

11XPS study of potassium-promoted molybdenum carbides for mixed alcohols synthesis via CO hydrogenation显示文摘The X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) was used to investigate the surface characteristic of potassium-promoted or un-promoted both β-Mo2C and α-MoC1-x pretreated by syngas at different temperatures,and the promotional effect of potassium on the catalytic performance was also studied.XPS results revealed that the content of surface Mo and its valence distribution between β-Mo2C and α-MoC1-x were quite different.Promoted by potassium,the remarkable changes were observed for surface composition and valence of Mo distribution over β-Mo2C.Potassium had strong electronic effect on β-Mo2C,which led to a higher Mo4+ content.On the contrary,potassium had little electronic effect on α-MoC1-x,and K-Mo interaction was weak.Therefore,Mo0 and Mo2+ became the dominant species on the catalyst surface,and the Mo4+ content showed almost no increase as the pretreatment temperature enhanced.In terms of catalytic performance of molybdenum carbides,the increase in Mo0 most likely explained the increase in hydrocarbon selectivity,yet Mo4+ might be responsible for the alcohols synthesis.Minglin Xiang Debao Li Juan Zou Wenhuai Li Yuhan Sun Xichun She 2010Journal of Natural Gas Chemistry2010,19,2:3
12Magnetic properties and magnetocaloric effects in amorphous and crystalline Gd_(55)Co_(35)Ni_(10) ribbons显示文摘The magnetic properties and magnetocaloric effects of amorphous and crystalline Gd55Co35Ni10 ribbons are investigated.A main phase with a Ho 12 Co 7-type monoclinic structure(space group P21/c) and a minor phase with a Ho4Co3-type hexagonal structure(space group P63/m) are obtained for crystalline ribbon after annealing.The amorphous ribbons order ferromagnetically and undergo a second-order transition at 192 K.For crystalline Gd55Co35Ni10 ribbons,two magnetic phase transitions occur at 158 and 214 K,respectively.The peak value of-△SM under a field change of 0-5 T is 6.5 J/kg K at 192 K for amorphous Gd55Co35Ni10 ribbons.A relatively large magnetic entropy change(~5.0 J/kg K) under a field change of 0-5 T for the crystalline Gd55Co35Ni10 ribbons is obtained in the temperature interval range of 154-214 K.The large platform of magnetic entropy change and the negligible thermal/magnetic hysteresis loss mean the crystalline Gd55Co35Ni10 compound can satisfy the requirement of the Ericsson-type refrigerator working in the temperature range from 154K to 214K.ZHONG XiChun TANG PengFei GAO BeiBei MIN JiXiong LIU ZhongWu ZHENG ZhiGang ZENG DeChang YU HongYa QIU WanQi 2013Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2013,56,6:3

14Enhancement of surface wettability via micro-and nanostructures by single point diamond turning显示文摘Studies on surface wettability have received tremendous interest due to their potential applications in research and industrial processes. One of the strategies to tune surface wettability is modifying surface topography at micro-and nanoscales. In this research, periodic micro-and nanostructures were patterned on several polymer surfaces by ultra-precision single point diamond turning to investigate the relationships between surface topographies at the micro-and nanoscales and their surface wettability. This research revealed that single-point diamond turning could be used to enhance the wettability of a variety of polymers, including polyvinyl chloride(PVC), polyethylene 1000(PE1000), polypropylene copolymer(PP) and polytetrafluoroethylene(PFTE), which cannot be processed by conventional semiconductor-based manufacturing processes. Materials exhibiting common wettability properties(θ≈ 90°) changed to exhibit 'superhydrophobic' behavior(θ > 150°). 17Nickel and potassium co-modified β-Mo_2C catalyst for CO conversion显示文摘Nickel and potassium co-modified β-Mo2C catalysts were prepared and used for CO hydrogenation reaction. The major products over β-Mo2C were C1-C4 hydrocarbons, only few alcohols were obtained. Addition of potassium resulted in remarkable selectivity shift from hydrocarbons to alcohols at the expense of CO conversion over β-Mo2C. Moreover, it was found that potassium enhanced the ability of chain propagation with a higher C2+OH production. Modified by nickel, β-Mo2C showed a relatively high CO conversion, however, the products were similar to those of pure β-Mo2C. When co-modified by nickel and potassium, β-Mo2C exhibited high activity and selectivity towards mixed alcohols synthesis, and also the whole chain propagation to produce alcohols especially for the stage of C1OH to C2OH was remarkably enhanced. 18CDE4 encodes a pentatricopeptide repeat protein involved in chloroplast RNA splicing and affects chloroplast development under low-temperature conditions in rice显示文摘Pentatricopeptide repeat(PPR)proteins play important roles in the post-transcriptional modification of organellar RNAs in plants.However,the function of most PPR proteins remains unknown.Here,we characterized the rice(Oryza sativa L.)chlorophyll deficient 4(cde4)mutant which exhibits an albino phenotype during early leaf development,with decreased chlorophyll contents and abnormal chloroplasts at low-temperature(20℃).Positional cloning revealed that CDE4 encodes a P-type PPR protein localized in chloroplasts.In the cde4 mutant,plastid-encoded polymerase(PEP)-dependent transcript levels were significantly reduced,but transcript levels of nuclear-encoded genes were increased compared to wild-type plants at 20℃.CDE4 directly binds to the transcripts of the chloroplast genes rpl2,ndhA,and ndhB.Intron splicing of these transcripts was defective in the cde4 mutant at 20℃,but was normal at 32℃.Moreover,CDE4 interacts with the guanylate kinase VIRESCENT 2(V2);overexpression of V2 enhanced CDE4 protein stability,thereby rescuing the cde4 phenotype at 20℃.Our results suggest that CDE4 participates in plastid RNA splicing and plays an important role in rice chloroplast development under lowtemperature conditions.Xinyong Liu Xichun Zhang Ruijie Cao Guiai Jiao Shikai Hu Gaoneng Shao Zhonghua Sheng Lihong Xie Shaoqing Tang Xiangjin Wei Peisong Hu 2021Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2021,63,10:2

20Catalytic performance of Fe modified K/Mo_2C catalyst for CO hydrogenation显示文摘Fe modified and un-modified K/Mo2C were prepared and investigated as catalysts for CO hydrogenation reaction. Compared with K/Mo2C catalyst, the addition of Fe increased the production of alcohols, especially the C2+OH. Meanwhile, considerable amounts of C5+ hydrocar- bons and C2= -C4= were formed, whereas methane selectivity greatly decreased. Also, the activity and selectivity of the catalyst were readily affected by the reaction pressure and temperature employed.
