2Deep eutectic solvent-based polymer electrolyte for solid-state lithium metal batteries显示文摘Poly(ethylene) oxide(PEO)-based electrolytes have been widely studied for solid-state lithium batteries while their ionic conductivity and lithium-ion transference number still need to be further improved.Herein, using the combined experimental and theoretical approach, we demonstrate a novel, solidstate PEO-deep eutectic solvent(DES) electrolyte for the first time. We found that the in situ formation of DES can reduce the crystallinity of PEO matrix and more Li+ions can move freely owing to the weakened coordination between ether oxygens and Li-ions. Besides, we show that more Li+ions can be dissociated from Li salts in PEO-DES electrolyte using the molecular dynamics simulations. Such liquid-free PEO-DES electrolytes showed good ionic conductivity(2.1 × 10^(-4) S cm^(-1)) which is 160% higher than that of conventional PEO-Li TFSI(8.1 × 10^(-5) S cm^(-1)) electrolyte at 60 ℃. Additionally, the PEO-DES electrolyte showed 136% increase of Li-ion transference number(0.33) compared with ionic liquid-doped PEO-Li TFSI(0.14) at 60 ℃. Moreover, the PEO-DES exhibited good compatibility with Li metal and stable Li plating/stripping behavior with little morphology change of Li metal. 3Single-ended Fault Detection Scheme Using Support Vector Machine for Multi-terminal Direct Current Systems Based on Modular Multilevel Converter显示文摘This paper proposes a single-ended fault detection scheme for long transmission lines using support vector machine(SVM)for multi-terminal direct current systems based on modular multilevel converter(MMC-MTDC).The scheme overcomes existing detection difficulties in the protection of long transmission lines resulting from high grounding resistance and attenuation,and also avoids the sophisticated process of threshold value selection.The high-frequency components in the measured voltage extracted by a wavelet transform and the amplitude of the zero-mode set of the positive-sequence voltage are the inputs to a trained SVM.The output of the SVM determines the fault type.A model of a four-terminal DC power grid with overhead transmission lines is built in PSCAD/EMTDC.Simulation results of EMTDC confirm that the proposed scheme achieves 100%accuracy in detecting short-circuit faults with high resistance on long transmission lines.The proposed scheme eliminates mal-operation of DC circuit breakers when faced with power order changes or AC-side faults.Its robustness and time delay are also assessed and shown to have no perceptible effect on the speed and accuracy of the detection scheme,thus ensuring its reliability and stability.Guangyang Zhou Xiahui Zhang Minxiao Han Shaahin Filizadeh Zhi Geng 2023Journal of Modern Power Systems and Clean Energy2023,11,3:0
4Quantitative analysis of collagen morphology in breast cancer from millimeter scale using multiphoton microscopy显示文摘The tumor microenvironment(TME)is now recognized as an important participant of tumor progression.As the most abundant extracellular matrix component in TME,collagen plays an important role in tumor development.The imaging study of collagen morphological feature in TME is of great significance for understanding the state of tumor.Multiphoton microscopy(MPM),based on second harmonic generation(SHG)and two-photon excitation fluorescence(TPEF),can be used to monitor the morphological changes of biological tissues without labeling.In this study,we used MPM for large-scale imaging of early invasive breast cancer from the tumor center to normal tissues far from the tumor.We found that there were signi¯cant di®erences in collagen morphology between breast cancer tumor boundary,near tumor transition region and normal tissues far from the tumor.Furthermore,the morphological feature of eight collagen¯bers was extracted to quantify the variation trend of collagen in three regions.These results may provide a new perspective for the optimal negative margin width of breast-conserving surgery and the understanding of tumor metastasis.Yulan Liu Shunwu Xu Deyong Kang Xingxin Huang Shuoyu Xu Lianhuang Li Liqin Zheng Lida Qiu Zhenlin Zhan Xiahui Han Jianxin Chen 2023Journal of Innovative Optical Health Sciences2023,16,4:0
