1Transplantation of UC-MSCs on collagen scaffold activates follicles in dormant ovaries of POF patients with long history of infertility显示文摘Premature ovarian failure(POF) is a refractory disease for clinical treatment with the goal of restoring fertility. In this study,umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells on a collagen scaffold(collagen/UC-MSCs) can activate primordial follicles in vitro via phosphorylation of FOXO3 a and FOXO1. Transplantation of collagen/UC-MSCs to the ovaries of POF patients rescued overall ovarian function, evidenced by elevated estradiol concentrations, improved follicular development, and increased number of antral follicles. Successful clinical pregnancy was achieved in women with POF after transplantation of collagen/UC-MSCs or UC-MSCs. 3Geochemistry and Zircon U-Pb Dating of Changshagou Adakite from the South Altyn UHPM Terrane: Evidence of the Partial Melting of the Lower Crust显示文摘Changshagou adakite, an outcrop in the middle segment of the South Altyn Tagh ultra-high pressure metamorphism(UHPM) terrane, contains medium-K cal-alkaline and weakly peraluminous compositions(Si O2 = 66.79% to 68.65%, Al2O3 = 17.48% to 18.31%, K2 O + Na2 O = 6.32% to 6.88%, K2O/Na2 O = 0.25 to 0.33, A/CNK = 1.01 to 1.06). This outcrop is also enriched with large ion lithophile elements but with depleted high-field strength elements(HFSE) showing clearly negative Nb, Ta, and Ti anomalies. REE distribution patterns show a positive anomaly of Eu(δEu = 1.15 to 1.31) and weakly enriched with LREE compared with HREE(LREE/HREE = 1.02 to 4.20). Experimental results and several characteristics, including relatively low Nb/Ta ratios(6.03 to 8.45) and high Sr, Sr/Y,(La/Yb)N and low Y and Yb, which indicate the presence of residual garnet and the absence of plagioclase in the source region, show that adakite may form at a pressure ranging from 1.2 GPa to 1.5 GPa and at a temperature of approximately 900°C. Low Cr, Ni, and Mg# values, trace element patterns, and Si O2–Mg# and Si O2–Mg O diagrams indicate that rocks are formed by the partial melting of a thickened lower continental crust. LA-ICP-MS in situ U-Pb dating yields two group ages: 503.1 ± 1.7 Ma(core) and 453.1 ± 3.0 Ma(rim). The Th/U ratios of the core and the rim are 0.11 to 0.40 and 0.03 to 0.07, respectively. 4Social Network Information Propagation Model Based on Individual Behavior显示文摘In this paper, we discuss building an information dissemination model based on individual behavior. We analyze the individual behavior related to information dissemination and the factors that affect the sharing behavior of individuals, and we define and quantify these factors. We consider these factors as characteristic attributes and use a Bayesian classifier to classify individuals. Considering the forwarding delay characteristics of information dissemination, we present a random time generation method that simulates the delay of information dissemination. Given time and other constraints, a user might not look at all the information that his/her friends published. Therefore, this paper proposes an algorithm to predict information visibility, i.e., it estimates the probability that an individual will see the information. Based on the classification of individual behavior and combined with our random time generation and information visibility prediction method, we propose an information dissemination model based on individual behavior. The model can be used to predict the scale and speed of information propagation. We use data sets from Sina Weibo to validate and analyze the prediction methods of the individual behavior and information dissemination model based on individual behavior. A previously proposedinformation dissemination model provides the foundation for a subsequent study on the evolution of the network and social network analysis. 6Occurrence of mycotoxins in feed ingredients and complete feeds obtained from the Beijing region of China显示文摘Background:The current study was carried out to provide a reference for the control of mycotoxin contamination in feed ingredients and complete feeds for swine.Methods:A total of 55 feed ingredients,including 14 corn,13 wheat bran,11 soybean meal and 17 dried distillers grains with solubles(DDGS) as well as 76 complete swine feeds including 7 creep feeds,14 starter feeds,14 grower feeds,18 grower-finisher feeds,10 gestating sow feeds,and 13 lactating sow feeds were randomly collected from15 swine farms located in the Beijing region of China from July to August 2011.Immunoaffinity clean-up,using High-Performance Liquid Chromatography(HPLC) in combination with UV or Fluorescence Detection,was used for quantitative analysis of aflatoxin B,(AFB,),deoxynivalenol(DON),zearalenone(ZEA) and ochratoxin A(OTA) in the ingredients and complete feeds.Results:DON and ZEA were the most prevalent mycotoxins found.DON was detected at percentages of 93,92,54,100 and 97%with a mean level of 1.01,0.44,0.05,1.36 and 0.65 ppm in the samples of corn,wheat bran,soybean meal,DDGS and complete feeds,respectively.The detected percentages of ZEA were 100,100,54,100 and 100 with mean levels of 109.1,14.9,9.2,882.7 and 58.9 ppb in the same samples.In the wheat bran and soybean meal samples,the content of all four mycotoxins were below the maximum limits set by Chinese regulations while the percentage of samples that exceeded regulatory limits were 7,57 and 7%for corn,and 7,14 and 3%for the complete feeds for AFB,,DON and OTA respectively.DDGS showed the most serious mycotoxin contamination and the percentage of samples that exceeded regulatory limits were 6,88 and 41%,for AFB,,DON and ZEA,respectively.Conclusions:This paper is the first to present data on the natural occurrence of AFB,,DON,ZEA and OTA in ingredients and complete feeds obtained from swine farms in China's Beijing region.The data shows that feed ingredients and complete swine feeds obtained from these farms are most often contaminated with DON followed by contamination with AFB,and ZEA.Xiaoying Li Lihong Zhao Yu Fan Yaxiong Jia Lei Sun Shanshan Ma Cheng Ji Qiugang Ma Jianyun Zhang 2014Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2014,5,4:7

8PIP5k1β controls bone homeostasis through modulating both osteoclast and osteoblast differentiation显示文摘PIP5k1βis crucial to the generation of phosphotidylinosotol(4,5)P2.PIP5k1βparticipates in numerous cellular activities,such as B cell and platelet activation,cell phagocytosis and endocytosis,cell apoptosis,and cytoskeletal organization.In the present work,we aimed to examine the function of PIP5k1βin osteoclastogenesis and osteogenesis to provide promising strategies for osteoporosis prevention and treatment.We discovered that PIP5k1β deletion in mice resulted in obvious bone loss and that PIP5k1β was highly expressed during both osteoclast and osteoblast differentiation.Deletion of the gene was found to enhance the proliferation and migration of bone marrow-derived macrophage-like cells to promote osteoclast differentiation.PIP5k1β-/-osteoclasts exhibited normal cytoskeleton architecture but stronger resorption activity.PIP5kip deficiency also promoted activation of mitogen-activated kinase and Akt signaling,enhanced TRAF6 and c-Fos expression,facilitated the expression and nuclear translocation of NFATC1,and upregulated Grb2 expression,thereby accelerating osteoclast differentiation and function.Finally,PIP5k1β enhanced osteoblast differentiation by upregulating master gene expression through triggering smad1/5/8 signaling.Therefore,PIP5k1βmodulates bone homeostasis and remodeling.Xiaoying Zhao Penglei Cui Guoli Hu Chuandong Wang Lei Jiang Jingyu Zhao Jiake Xu Xiaoling Zhang 2020Journal of Molecular Cell Biology2020,12,1:4
9Cross-calibration on the electromagnetic field detection payloads of the China Seismo-Electromagnetic Satellite显示文摘The China Seismo-Electromagnetic Satellite(CSES)deploys three payloads to detect the electromagnetic environment in the ionosphere.The tri-axial fluxgate magnetometers(FGM),as part of the high precision magnetometer(HPM),measures the Earth magnetic vector field in a frequency range from direct current(DC)to 15 Hz.The tri-axial search coil magnetometer(SCM)detects the alternating current(AC)related magnetic field in a frequency range from several Hz to 20 k Hz,and the electric field detector(EFD)measures the spatial electric field in a broad frequency band from DC to 3.5 MHz.This work mainly crosscalibrates the consistency of these three payloads in their overlapped detection frequency range and firstly evaluates CSES’s timing system and the sampling time differences between EFD and SCM.A sampling time synchronization method for EFD and SCM waveform data is put forward.The consistency between FGM and SCM in the ultra-low-frequency(ULF)range is validated by using the magnetic torque(MT)signal as a reference.A natural quasiperiodic electromagnetic wave event verifies SCM and EFD’s consistency in extremely low-frequency and very low-frequency(ELF/VLF)bands.This cross-calibration work is helpful to upgrade the data quality of CSES and brings valuable insights to similar electromagnetic detection solutions by low earth orbit satellites.ZHIMA Zeren ZHOU Bin ZHAO ShuFan WANG Qiao HUANG JianPing ZENG Li LEI JunGang CHEN Yu LI Cheng YANG DeHe SUN XiaoYing MIAO YuanQing ZHU XingHong SHEN XuHui 2022Science China(Technological Sciences)2022,65,6:3
10Health Inequalities during 20 Years of Rapid Economic Development in China (1980-2000):A Mortality Analysis显示文摘Objective To examine the influence of China's economic reforms on population health and regional mortality rates.Methods Longitudinal study measuring the mortality trends and their regional variations.Using data from the three most recent national censuses,we used the model life table to adjust the mortality levels within the population for each census,and to calculate life expectancy.We then examined the variation in patterns of mortality and population health by economic status,region and gender from 1980-2000.Results Life expectancy varied with economic status,province,and gender.Results showed that,although life expectancy in China had increased overall since the early 1980s,regional differences became more pronounced.Life expectancy for populations who live in the eastern coastal provinces are greater than those in the western regions.Conclusion Differences in life expectancy are primarily related to differences in regional economic development,which in turn exacerbate regional health inequalities.Therefore,it is necessary to improve economic development in less developed regions and to improve health policies and the public health system that address the needs of everyone.ZHENG XiaoYing SONG XinMing CHEN Gong YOU YunZhong REN Qiang LIU JuFen ZHANG Lei TAN LingFang WEI JiHong CHEN QiuYuan 2011Biomedical and Environmental Sciences2011,24,4:2

12Transcatheter arterial embolization-salvaged ALPPS, a novel ALPPS procedure especially for patients with hepatocellular carcinoma and severe fibrosis/cirrhosis显示文摘Background:The associating liver partition and portal vein ligation for staged hepatectomy(ALPPS)for hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)with fibrosis/cirrhosis is often associated with limited growth of future liver remnant(FLR).We introduced a new procedure named transcatheter arterial embolization-salvaged ALPPS(TAE-salvaged ALPPS)which was shown to be especially suitable for HCC patients with cirrhosis or fibrosis who failed adequately to respond to conventional ALPPS.The short-term efficacy and safety for the TAE-salvaged ALPPS on patients with HCC and fibrosis/cirrhosis were studied.Methods:Consecutive HCC patients who underwent TAE-salvaged ALPPS in our hospital between November 2016 and June 2020 were retrospectively studied.The new ALPPS procedure included conventional ALPPS stage-1 using associating liver partition and portal vein ligation.When FLR failed to reach sufficient hypertrophy,TAE was carried out 2 weeks later followed by liver resection 3 weeks after ALPPS stage-1.Results:Nine of 10 patients had a single tumor(median diameter 14.0 cm,range,5.2-17 cm).The remaining patient had multiple tumors(diameter of one tumor 14.0 cm,and two satellite foci 2.0 and 3.0 cm).R0 resection was achieved in all patients(100%)after a median of 21 days.Six patients had cirrhosis,1 had METAVIR grade-3 fibrosis,and 3 had METAVIR grade-2 fibrosis.The median increase in FLR volume after TAE-salvaged ALPPS was 69.7%(34.4-143.9%).The absolute and relative kinetic growth rates(KGRs)were 9.9(7.1-17.3)mL/day and 3.4%(1.9-7.2%)/day,respectively.The median absolute KGRs were 15.7,2.6,and 19.5 mL/day in the first,second,and third postoperative weeks after ALPPS stage-1,respectively.The rapid increase in KGR on the third week was induced by TAE.The overall postoperative morbidity rates were 50,0%(5/10),20.0%(2/10)and 70.0%(7/10)after ALPPS stage-1,TAE and ALPPS stage-2,respectively.The 90-day mortality rate was 10.0%(1/10).The median overall survival was 40 months.Conclusions:The new TAE-salvaged ALPPS induced significant increases in FLR volumes within 3 weeks in patients with HCC and fibrosis/cirrhosis.The procedure is promising in treating patients with HCC and fibrosis/cirrhosis who fail to achieve sufficient FLR hypertrophy after conventional ALPPS stage-1.Yuanfei Peng Zheng Wang Xudong Qu Feiyu Chen Huichuan Sun Xiaoying Wang Zhenbing Ding Min Tang Lei Yu Xinrong Yang Qiang Gao Zhaoyou Tang Wan Yee Lau Jia Fan Jian Zhou 2022Hepatobiliary Surgery and Nutrition2022,11,4:1
13The prognostic potential of pretreatment C-reactive protein to albumin ratio in stage IE/IIE extranodal natural killer/T-cell lymphoma显示文摘Objective The aim of this study was to determine the prognostic significance of the C-reactive protein-toalbumin ratio (CRP/Alb) for stage IE/IIE upper aerodigestive tract extranodal NK/T cell lymphoma patients. Methods One hundred and fourteen patients diagnosed with extranodal NK/T cell lymphoma at Sichuan Cancer Hospital from September 2011 to November 2016 were retrospectively reviewed. An optimal cutoff value of CRP/Alb for overall survival rate as an endpoint was obtained using the receiver operating curve (ROC). Results The optimal cutoff value of CRP/Alb was 0.15. For the low CRP/Alb group, the 3-year progression-free survival (PFS) was 78.6% and the 3-year overall survival (OS) was 80.7%. The 3-year PFS and OS values for the high CRP/Alb group were 41.6% and 45.2%, respectively. Differences for PFS (P < 0.001) and OS (P < 0.001) between the two groups were statistically significant. Univariate analysis showed that ECOG, IPI, CRP, GPS, and CRP/Alb were significantly associated with PFS. Similarly, all five were also significantly associated with OS. Multivariate analysis further confirmed that ECOG and CRP/ Alb were independent prognostic factors for both PFS and OS. Moreover, the cutoff value of CRP/Alb showed superior prognostic ability in discriminating between patients with different outcomes in low-risk group based on GPS, IPI, and KPI scores. 17A multi-objective antidisturbance robust filter for SINS/GPS navigation systems显示文摘Purpose-A full-order multi-objective anti-disturbance robust filter for SINS/GPS navigation systems with multiple disturbances is designed.Generally,the unmodeled dynamics,the external environmental disturbance and the inertial apparatus random drift may exist simultaneously in an integrated navigation system,which can be classified into three type of disturbances,that is,the Gaussian noise,the norm bounded noise and the time correlated noise.In most classical studies,the disturbances in integrated navigation systems are classified as Gaussian noises or norm bounded noises,where the Kalman filtering or robust filtering can be employed,respectively.While it is not true actually,such assumptions may lead to conservative results.The paper aims to discuss these issues.Design/methodology/approach-The Gaussian noises,the norm bounded noises and the time correlated noises in the integrated navigation system are considered simultaneously in this contribution.As a result,the time correlated noises are augmented as a part of system state of the integrated navigation system error model,the relative integrated navigation problem can be transformed into a full-order multi-objective robust filter design problem for systems with Gaussian noises and norm bounded disturbances.Certainly,the errors of the time correlated noises are estimated and compensated for high precision navigation purpose.Sufficient conditions for the existence of the proposed filter are presented in terms of linear matrix inequalities(LMIs)such that the system stability is guaranteed and the disturbance attenuation performance is achieved.Findings-Simulations for SINS/GPS integrated navigation system given show that the proposed full-order multi-objective anti-disturbance filter,has stronger robustness and better precision when multiple disturbances exist,that is,the present algorithm not only can suppression the effect of white noises and norm bounded disturbance but also can estimate and compensate the modeled disturbance.Originality/value-The proposed algorithm has stronger anti-disturbance ability for integrated navigation with multiple disturbances.In fact,there exist multiple disturbances in integrated navigation system,so the proposed scheme has important significance in applications.Jia Liu Yumin Zhang Lei Guo Xiaoying Gao 2013International Journal of Intelligent Computing and Cybernetics2013,6,3:1
18Structure and effect on Bifidobacterium longum of exopolysaccharide produced by Weissella cibaria using cost-effective substrates显示文摘Maize straw,an abundant agricultural residue,has potential as an eco-friendly resource.The aim of this study was to investigate the struc-ture and effect on Bifidobacterium longum of exopolysaccharide produced by Weissella cibaria using maize straw as a carbon source.In this work,an exopolysaccharide-producing strain was isolated from vegetable juice,which was identified as W.cibaria.Our results demonstrated that exopolysaccharide produced by W.cibaria is a linear glucan containing anα-1,6 glycosidic bond with a molecular weight of 9462 Da.In addition,scanning electron microscopy of exopolysaccharide from W.cibaria revealed the flake structures.In vitro assays showed that the exopolysaccharide from W.cibaria has the ability to stimulate the proliferation of B.longum strain and its metabolism to produce acetic acid.This work provides a scientific reference for the potential application of maize straw and a new insight into an eco-friendly carbon source to produce exopolysaccharide.Xiaoying Wang Fan Zhang Lin Wang Lei Pan 2023Food Quality and Safety2023,7,2:0

20Cytoplasmic YAP1-mediated ESCRT-III assembly promotes autophagic cell death and is ubiquitinated by NEDD4L in breast cancer显示文摘Background:Nuclear Yes1-associated transcriptional regulator(YAP1)promotes tumor progression.However,the function of cytoplasmic YAP1 in breast cancer cells and its impact on the survival of breast cancer patients remain unclear.Our research aimed to explore the biological function of cytoplasmic YAP1 in breast cancer cells and the possibility of cytoplasmic YAP1 as a predictive marker of breast cancer survival.Methods:We constructed cell mutant models,including NLS-YAP15SA(nuclear localized),YAP1S94A(incapable of binding to the TEA domain transcription factor family)and YAP1S127D(cytoplasmic localized),and used Cell Counting Kit-8(CCK-8)assays,5-ethynyl-2’-deoxyuridine(EdU)incorporation assays,and Western blotting(WB)analysis to detect cell proliferation and apoptosis.The specific mechanism of cytoplasmic YAP1-mediated endosomal sorting complexes required for transport III(ESCRT-III)assembly was studied by co-immunoprecipitation,immunofluorescence staining,and WB analysis.Epigallocatechin gallate(EGCG)was used to simulate YAP1 retention in the cytoplasm in in vitro and in vivo experiments to study the function of cytoplasmic YAP1.YAP1 binding to NEDD4-like E3 ubiquitin protein ligase(NEDD4L)was identified using mass spectrometry and was verified in vitro.Breast tissue microarrays were used to analyze the relationship between cytoplasmic YAP1 expression and the survival of breast cancer patients.Results:YAP1 was mainly expressed in the cytoplasm in breast cancer cells.Cytoplasmic YAP1 promoted autophagic death of breast cancer cells.Cytoplasmic YAP1 bound to the ESCRT-III complex subunits charged multivesicular body protein 2B(CHMP2B)and vacuolar protein sorting 4 homolog B(VPS4B),promoting assembly of CHMP2B-VPS4B and activating autophagosome formation.EGCG retained YAP1 in the cytoplasm,promoting the assembly of CHMP2B-VPS4B to promote autophagic death of breast cancer cells.YAP1 bound to NEDD4L,and NEDD4L mediated ubiquitination and degradation of YAP1.Breast tissue microarrays revealed that high levels of cytoplasmic YAP1 were beneficial to the survival of breast cancer patients.Conclusions:Cytoplasmic YAP1 mediated autophagic death of breast cancer cells by promoting assembly of the ESCRT-III complex;furthermore,we established a new breast cancer survival prediction model based on cytoplasmic YAP1 expression.Yan Guo Yuqing Cui Yangyang Li Xiaoying Jin Dandan Wang Mengxia Lei Fengzhi Chen Yali Liu Jinwen Xu Guanyu Yao Guangchun Zeng Xuesong Chen 2023Cancer Communications2023,43,5:0
