2Memristive Artificial Synapses for Neuromorphic Computing显示文摘Neuromorphic computing simulates the operation of biological brain function for information processing and can potentially solve the bottleneck of the von Neumann architecture.This computing is realized based on memristive hardware neural networks in which synaptic devices that mimic biological synapses of the brain are the primary units.Mimicking synaptic functions with these devices is critical in neuromorphic systems.In the last decade,electrical and optical signals have been incorporated into the synaptic devices and promoted the simulation of various synaptic functions.In this review,these devices are discussed by categorizing them into electrically stimulated,optically stimulated,and photoelectric synergetic synaptic devices based on stimulation of electrical and optical signals.The working mechanisms of the devices are analyzed in detail.This is followed by a discussion of the progress in mimicking synaptic functions.In addition,existing application scenarios of various synaptic devices are outlined.Furthermore,the performances and future development of the synaptic devices that could be significant for building efficient neuromorphic systems are prospected.Wen Huang Xuwen Xia Chen Zhu Parker Steichen Weidong Quan Weiwei Mao Jianping Yang Liang Chu Xing’ao Li 2021Nano-Micro Letters2021,13,5:4

4The calmodulin-dependent protein kinase II inhibitor KN-93 protects rat cerebral cortical neurons from N-methyl-D-aspartic acid-induced injury显示文摘In this study, primary cultured cerebral cortical neurons of Sprague-Dawley neonatal rats were treated with 0.25, 0.5, and 1.0 μM calmodulin-dependent protein kinase II inhibitor KN-93 after 50 μM N-methyl-D-aspartic acid-induced injury. Results showed that, compared with N-methyl-D-aspartic acid-induced injury neurons, the activity of cells markedly increased, apoptosis was significantly reduced, leakage of lactate dehydrogenase decreased, and intracellular Ca(2+) concentrations in neurons reduced after KN-93 treatment. The expression of caspase-3, phosphorylated calmodulin-dependent protein kinase II and total calmodulin-dependent protein kinase II protein decreased after KN-93 treatment. And the effect was apparent at a dose of 1.0 μM KN-93. 6Microenvironment regulation of M-N-C single-atom catalysts towards oxygen reduction reaction显示文摘The development of cost-effective,robust,and durable electrocatalysts to replace the expensive Pt-based catalysts towards oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)is the trending frontier research topic in renewable energy and electrocatalysis.Particular attention has been paid to metal-nitrogen-carbon(M-N-C)single atom catalysts(SACs)due to their maximized atom utilization efficiency,biomimetic active site,and distinct electronic structure.More importantly,their catalytic properties can be further tailored by rationally regulating the microenvironment of active sites(i.e.,M-N coordination number,heteroatom doping and substitution.Herein,we present a comprehensive summary of the recent advancement in the microenvironment regulation of MN-C SACs towards improved ORR performance.The coordination environment manipulation regarding central metal and coordinated atoms is first discussed,focusing on the structure-function relationship.Apart from the near-range coordination,longrange substrate modulation including heteroatom doping,defect engineering is discussed as well.Besides,the synergy mechanism of nanoparticles and single atom sites to tune the electron cloud density at the active sites is summarized.Finally,we provide the challenges and outlook of the development of M-N-C SACs.Li Zhang Qinglei Meng Ruixue Zheng Liuqing Wang Wei Xing Weiwei Cai Meiling Xiao 2023Nano Research2023,16,4:2

8Stress rupture properties and deformation mechanisms of K4750 alloy at the range of 650℃ to 800℃显示文摘The stress rupture properties and deform ation mechanism s of K4750 alloy at 650 ℃, 700 ℃, 750 ℃ and 800 ℃ were investigated. As the decrease of tem perature and stress, the stress rupture life gradually increased. A Larson-Miller Parameter (LMP) method was used for analyzing the stress rupture life under different conditions. The linear fitting formula between stress (σ) and LMP was derived as σ= 3166.455-119.969 ×LMP and the fitting coefficient w as 0.98. After testing, the dislocation configurations of all stress rupture samples w ere investigated by transm ission electron microscopy (TEM). The tem perature and stress had a significant impact on the deform ation m echanism, thereby affected the stress rupture life of K4750 alloy. As the increasing stress at a given tem perature, the deform ation m echanism gradually transform ed from Orowan looping to stacking fault shearing. Based on experim ental results, the threshold stress at 650 ℃, 700 ℃, 750 ℃ and 800 ℃ for the transition of deformation mechanism was estimated to be about 650 MPa, 530 MPa, 430 MPa and 350 MPa, respectively. Below the threshold stress,γ phase effectively hindered dislocation motion by Orowan looping mechanism, K4750 alloy had along stress rupture life. Slightly above the threshold stress, Orowan looping combining stacking fault shearing was the dom inant mechanism ,the stress rupture life decreased. 11Expression of CENH3 alleles in synthesized allopolyploid Oryza species显示文摘Synthesized allopolyploids are valuable materials for comparative analyses of two or more distinct genomes, such as the expression changes (activation, inactivation or differential expression) of orthologous genes following allopolyploidization. CENH3 is a centromere specific histone H3 variant and has been regarded as a central component in kinetochore formation and centromere function. In this study, interspecific hybrids of Oryza genus (AA × CC, AA × CCDD) and their backcross progenies were produced, and the genome constitutions were identified as AC, ACC, ACD, AACD, or AA(CD) by Genomic in situ hybridization (GISH). We further cloned and sequenced the CENH3 genes from O. sativa (AA), O. officinalis (CC) and O. latifolia (CCDD). Sequencing of RT-PCR products revealed that CENH3_C2 and CENH3_D, the two CENH3 alleles from O. latifolia, showed polymophism in several sites, while CENH3_C2 and CENH3_C1 from O. officinalis were different at only two amino acids positions. Moreover, we found that the CENH3 genes from both parents are expressed in interspecific hybrids and their progenies. Specifically, based on our cDNA sequencing data, the ratio of expression level between CENH3_A and CENH3_C1 was approximately 1 in AC and 0.5 in ACC genomes, respectively. 15Competitive Expression of Endogenous Wheat CENH3 May Lead to Suppression of Alien ZmCENH3 in Transgenic Wheat × Maize Hybrids显示文摘Uniparental chromosome elimination in wheat maize hybrid embryos is widely used in double haploid production of wheat. Several explanations have been proposed for this phenomenon, one of which is that the lack of cross-species CENH3 incorporation may act as a barrier to interspecies hybridization. However, it is unknown if this mechanism applies universally. To study the role of CENH3 in maize chromosome elimination of wheat maize hybrid embryos, maize Zm CENH3 and wheat aT a CENH3-B driven by the constitutive Ca MV35 S promoter were transformed into wheat variety Yangmai 158. Five transgenic lines for Zm CENH3 and six transgenic lines for aT a CENH3-B were identified. RT-PCR analysis showed that the transgene could be transcribed at a low level in all Zm CENH3 transgenic lines, whereas transcription of endogenous wheat CENH3 was significantly up-regulated. Interestingly, the expression levels of both wheat CENH3 and Zm CENH3 in the Zm CENH3 transgenic wheat maize hybrid embryos were higher than those in the non-transformed Yangmai 158 maize hybrid embryos. This indicates that the alien Zm CENH3 in wheat may induce competitive expression of endogenous wheat CENH3, leading to suppression of ZmCENH3 over-expression. Eliminations of maize chromosomes in hybrid embryos of Zm CENH3 transgenic wheat maize and Yangmai 158 maize were compared by observations on micronuclei presence, by marker analysis using maize SSRs(simple sequence repeats), and by FISH(fluorescence in situ hybridization) using 45 S r DNA as a probe. The results indicate that maize chromosome elimination events in the two crosses are not significantly different. Fusion protein Zm CENH3-YFP could not be detected in Zm CENH3 transgenic wheat by either Western blotting or immnunostaining, whereas accumulation and loading of the a Ta CENH3-B-GFP fusion protein was normal in aT a CENH3-B transgenic lines. 16Cache Power Optimization Based on Compare-Based Adaptive Clock Gating and Its 65nm SoC Implementation显示文摘In most embedded microprocessor based System on chips(So Cs), cache has become a ma jor source of power consumption due to its increasing size and high access rate. Power optimization of cache based on Compare-based adaptive clock gating(CACG) is proposed to reduce the power waste due to cache idle. By detecting the cache's working state, the CACG can automatically turn off its clock when it is in idle state, saving a large percentage of dynamic power. 17Registration of intervention trials of Traditional Chinese Medicine for four neurological diseases on Chinese Clinical Trial Registry and Clinical Trials.gov:a narrative review显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To analyze the current status of clinical trial registration of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)for the treatment of neurological diseases.METHODS:Interventional clinical trials of TCM treatment for ischemic stroke,hemorrhagic stroke,vascular cognitive impairment,tension-type headache before September 22,2020 on the platform of Chinese Clinical Trial Registry(Chi CTR),and Clinical Trials.gov were searched.Two researchers independently selected the literature and extracted data.RESULTS:A total of 180 interventional clinical trials were included for analysis.Out of 180 trials,127 were from Chi CTR and 53 from Clinical Trials.gov.The countries primary sponsoring the included trials were China(176,97.8%),and the common categories of primary sponsors were hospital(131,72.8%).Among the study design,the largest proportion of allocation was randomized(172,95.6%),interventional model assignment was parallel(163,90.6%),masking was double blind 49(27.2%),and the sample size was≤400(144,80.0%).The trials were most carried out at a single center(102,56.7%).Among the included studies,112(62.2%)registered on Chi CTR attached the ethical approval documents.In terms of trial stages,50(27.7%)studies were in phaseⅣ.The mostly used intervention was Chinese herbal medicines(99,55%),acupuncture(68,37.8%)was the second.By searching the registration number on China National Knowledge Infrastructure Database and Pub Med,38(21.1%)registered trials were published,including 25 protocol studies and 14 research results with one(NCT02275949)published both the protocol and the results.CONCLUSIONS:Irregular and inadequate reporting,untimely update and publication,insufficient information on traditional medicine unique characteristics,and lack of international collaborations are the problems existing in the interventional clinical registration trials of traditional medicine treatment on neurological diseases.More efforts need to be made from the above aspects to standardize and improve the registration of traditional medicine trials.WEI Jingjing GUO Rongjuan FU Guojing LIANG Xiao XU Zhenmin JIA Min ZENG Zixiu DU Wanqing JIAO Weiwei SUN Linjuan LIU Hongmei GUO Chunli TONG Chenguang ZHANG Yunling LIAO Xing 2022Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2022,42,1:1
