1Radiative forcing due to dust aerosol over east Asia-north Pacific region during spring, 2001显示文摘An optical model accounting for the East Asian dust is proposed as a result of theory calculation and compo-sition analysis of the aerosol samples collected in China de-sert during the international project, Studies on the Origin and Transport of Aeolian Dust and its Effects on Climate (ADEC). Study indicates that dust aerosols emitting from China deserts have smaller imaginary parts of refractive indices, therefore absorb less and scatter more solar radia-tion than the most dust optical models published so far. Fur-thermore, the forward fraction of scattering is less and the backscattering is stronger than those of the other models. The seasonal averaged radiative forcing in spring, 2001 over east Asia-north Pacific region is simulated employing the new dust optical model. The net forcing at the top of atmos-phere (TOA) is estimated as -0.943 W·m-2 for regional and seasonal mean, with shortwave and longwave contributions of -1.700 and 0.759 W·m-2, respectively. The surface net forcing is calculated to be -5.445 W·m-2, and made up of shortwave component of -6.250 W·m-2 and longwave component of +0.759 W·m-2. 2Modern sedimentation rates in the intertidal zone on the west coast of the Bohai Gulf显示文摘On the basis of the measurement of 210Pbex and 137Cs activities in the sediment cores taken from the intertidal zone on the west coast of the Bohai Gulf, the average sedimentation rates of modern sediments are calculated. The results indicate that in the sandy area of the intertidal zone (from Daogouzi to the Duliujian River), the sedimentation rate from 1955 to 1963 is 3.43-4.06 cm/a, and is within the range of 0.65 ̄1.59 cm/a since 1963. The average sedimentation rate in the muddy area (around Qikou) is approximately 1.81 cm/a. The results above suggest that the sandy area of the intertidal zone has experienced rapid sedimentation from the 1950s to the 1960s, and the sedimentation slows down after the 1960s, and the sedimentation rates increase from north to south spatially. The rapid sedi- mentation from the 1950s to the 1960s in the sandy area is due to the fact that North China has plentiful precipitation during this period and the intertidal zone is supplied with abundant matter sources for sedimentation. 3Expression of c-fos and c-jun proteins in the marginal division of the rat striatum during learning and memory training显示文摘Background A new brain region, the marginal division (MrD), was discovered at the caudal margin of the neostriatum. The MrD was shown to be involved in learning and memory in the rat. The aim of this study was to investigate the expression of the immediate-early genes c-fos and c-jun in the MrD of the striatum during learning and memory processes in the rat, immunocytochemical and Western blot methods were used to examine Y-maze trained rats.Methods The rats were divided into three groups, namely the training, pseudotraining, and control groups. After Y-maze training, the expression of the immediate-early genes c-fos and c-jun in the MrD of the rats was investigated using immunocytochemical and Western blot methods. Results After one hour of Y-maze training, the expression of c-jun and c-fos proteins was significantly enhanced in the MrD; the c-jun protein, in particular, was more intensely expressed in this region than in other parts of the striatum. The expression of these two proteins in the training group was significantly higher than in the pseudotraining and control groups. In addition, positive expression was also found in the hippocampus, cingulum cortex, thalamus, and in other areas. Western blot disclosed two immunoreactive bands for the anti-c-fos antibody (47 kD and 54 kD) and two immunoreactive bands for the anti-c-jun antibody (39 kD and (54 kD).) 4Intrauterine growth restriction alters growth performance, plasma hormones,and small intestinal microbial communities in growing-finishing pigs显示文摘Background: The interaction of the gut microbiota with key metabolic and physiological processes may be associated with poor growth outcomes in animals born with intrauterine growth restriction(IUGR).Results: Growth performance, plasma hormone concentrations, and intestinal microbiota composition were analyzed in IUGR pigs and in normal birth weight(NBW) pigs when the NBW pigs reached 25, 50, and 100 kg of body weight(BW). Compared to NBW pigs, IUGR pigs had lower initial, weaned, and final BW, and lower average daily gain and average daily feed intake in all the considered time points. In the 25 kg BW group, IUGR pigs had higher concentrations of plasma ghrelin and pancreatic polypeptide(PP), but lower insulin concentration than NBW pigs, while the situation was reversed in the 50 kg BW group. As compared to NBW pigs, IUGR pigs had higher microbial alpha diversity in the jejunum and ileum;in the 50 and 100 kg BW groups, IUGR pigs had higher Firmicutes abundance but lower Proteobacteria abundance in the jejunum, and lower Lactobacillus abundance in the jejunum and ileum;in the 25 kg BW group, IUGR pigs showed higher unclassified Ruminococcaceae abundance in the ileum;and in 25 and 50 kg BW groups, IUGR pigs showed lower Ochrobactrum abundance in the jejunum.Spearman's correlation revealed that Lactobacillus was negatively correlated with growth performance, while unclassified Ruminococcaceae was positively correlated. Predictive metagenomic analysis detected significantly different expression of genes in the intestinal microbiota between IUGR and NBW pigs, suggesting different metabolic capabilities between the two groups.Conclusions: Growing-finishing IUGR pigs showed lower growth performance, higher microbial alpha diversity, and differences in plasma hormone concentrations compared to NBW pigs. 5Robust Threshold Guillou-Quisquater Signature Scheme显示文摘The deficiencies of the first threshold Guillou-Quisquater signature scheme presented by Li-San Liu, Cheng-Kang Chu and Wen-Guey Tzeng are analysised at first, and then a new threshold Guillou-Quisquater signature scheme is presented. The new scheme is unforgeable and robust against any adaptive adversary if the base Guillou-Quisquater signature scheme is unforgeable under the chosen message attack and computing the discrete logarithm modulo a prime is hard. This scheme can also achieve optimal resilience. However, the new scheme does not need the assumption that N is the product of two safe primes. 6Plasmodesmatal Dynamics in Both Woody Poplar and Herbaceous Winter Wheat Under Controlled Short Day and in Field Winter Period显示文摘Electron microscopic observation revealed that poplar (Populus deltoides Marsh.) and winterwheat ( Triticum aestivum L. cv. Seward 80004) plasmodesmatal structures significantly changed undershort day (SD, 8 h light) and in winter period, and such changes differed also noticeably between these twowoody and herbaceous plants. Under long day (LD, 16 h light), many plasmodesmata with strong stainappeared in the cell wall of both poplar apical buds and winter wheat young leaf tissues, and connections ofcytoplasmic endoplasmic reticulum (ER) with the ER in some plasmodesmata were observed. In addition,the typical “neck type” plasmodesmata were observed in winter wheat young leaf tissues, and their centraldesmotubules (appressed-ER) could be clearly identified. Under SD, many poplar plasmodesmata showedonly a partial structure in the cell wall and appeared to be discontinued; some plasmodesmata swelled in themid-wall, forming the cavity, and no appressed-ER appeared, in winter wheat, however, no noticeablealterations of plasmodesmata occurred, and the plasmodesmatal structure essentially remained the sameas it was under LD. In winter period, poplar plasmodesmata had a similar morphology as those observedunder SD, however, winter wheat manifested at least two types of significant plasmodesmatal alterations:one plugged by electron-dense materials and the other of reduced neck region compared to those underLD. 7Effect of dye-metal complexation on photocatalytic decomposition of the dyes on TiO_2 under visible irradiation显示文摘The photocatalytic degradation of dyes(Acid Chrome Blue K(ACBK) and Alizarin Red(AR)) with strong complexation ability was investigated in the presence of metal ions under visible light irradiation.It was found that,at low dye-metal ratio,the photodegradation of ACBK was markedly inhibited by the addition of high oxidative potential Cu2+.However,at high dye-metal ratio,the presence of Cu2+ enhanced the photodegradation of ACBK.The negtive effect of Cu2+ on the photodegradation of AR was observed for all dye-metal ratios.The relative chemical inert Zn2+ tended to enhance the photodegradation of both anionic dyes.The mechanism underlying the different effect of Cu2+ was discussed from the different roles of surface-adsorbed and dye-coordinated Cu2+ in the photodegradation of dyes.MAHMOOD Tariq CHEN Chuncheng LIU Lili ZHAO Dan MA Wanghong LIN Jun ZHAO Jincai 2009Journal of Environmental Sciences2009,21,2:3
8DNN-HMM based acoustic model for continuous pig cough sound recognition显示文摘To detect the respiratory disease through pig cough sound in the early stage,a novel method based on Deep Neural Networks-Hidden Markov Model(DNN-HMM)was proposed to construct an acoustic model for continuous pig cough sound recognition.Noises in the continuous pig sounds were eliminated by the Wiener algorithm based on wavelet thresholding the multitaper spectrum,and the experimental corpus was obtained from the denoised continuous pig sounds.The 39-dimensional Mel Frequency Cepstral Coefficients(MFCC)extracted from the corpus were considered as feature vectors.Sounds in pig farms were divided into pig coughs,non-pig coughs,and silence segments.In the HMM,the number of hidden states of pig cough,non-pig cough and silence segments were 5,5 and 3 respectively,and the observation states represented the feature vectors of the continuous pig sound signal.Based on experiments and empirical theory,the DNN model with 3 hidden layers and 100 nodes per layer was used to describe the correspondence between hidden states and observation serials.Through experiments,the context frames of DNN input were set to 5.Under the condition of optimal parameter setting,the traditional acoustic model Gaussian Mixture Model-Hidden Markov Model(GMM-HMM)was compared with DNN-HMM through a 5-fold cross-validation experiment.It was found that the Word Error Rate(WER)of each group in DNN-HMM was lower than that in GMM-HMM,and the average WER was 3.45%lower.At the same time,the best result of the DNN-HMM model was obtained with the lowest WER of 7.54%,and the average WER was 8.03%.The results showed that the method of DNN-HMM based acoustic model for continuous pig cough sound recognition was stable and reliable.Jian Zhao Xuan Li Wanghong Liu Yun Gao Minggang Lei Hequn Tan Di Yang 2020International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2020,13,3:2
9Indicators and impact analysis of sediment from the Changjiang Estuary and East China Sea to the Hangzhou Bay显示文摘Based on the historical evolution of the Hangzhou Bay, by making use of the conclusions made by the previous research workers and the integration of concrete data, five distinct impact indicators of the sediment from the Changjiang Estuary and the East China Sea to the Hangzhou Bay are summarized. Numerical calculation and analysis indicate that the scouring and deposition of seabed in the Hangzhou Bay are subject to the direct impact of the evolution of the Changjiang Estuary, and the growth and decline and the direction of the sandy bar at Nanhuizui give traces to the sediment transport between the Changjiang Estuary and the Hangzhou Bay. The transport of sediment from the Changjiang Estuary to the Hangzhou Bay occurs mainly in winter and spring seasons and the increase of the Changjiang River runoff and the decrease of sediment charge have caused scouring in the northern coast of the Hangzhou Bay and the seabed erosion along the frontal margin of the Changjiang River Delta.WANGHong FANWei YUNCaixing 2004Acta Oceanologica Sinica2004,23,2:2
10Network selection algorithm based on AHP and similarity显示文摘In heterogeneous wireless networks,there are various kinds of service demands from the users. A network selection algorithm based onthe analytic hierarchy process( AHP) and Similarity is proposed to solve this problem.The services are divided into three classes: Conversational Class,Streaming Class and Interactive Class. According to the characteristics of each service,a different judgment matrix is assigned and then the AHP method is used to calculate the network attribute weights. Taking the dynamic changes in user demands and network environment into account,a formula based on Lance distance for computing the attributes similarity is derived to evaluate the degree of conformity between user requirements and network attributes,from which the similarity between the user requirements and network attributes is calculated and then the total similarity by weighting. The network with the largest total similarity is the best choice. 17Study on the Accuracy of Different CASA Systems in the Quality Detection of Fresh Boar Semen显示文摘[Objectives]This study was conducted to compare and analyze the accuracy of computer-aided sperm analysis(CASA)and manual method for detecting the quality of fresh boar semen at room temperature.[Methods]Statistical methods such as analysis of variance,ZB score and Z score were used to compare the accuracy of five different brands of CASA systems and manual method to detect the vitality and density of fresh boar semen at room temperature.[Results]After setting the parameters of five CASA systems the same as follows:VCL(curvilinear velocity),VSL(straight-line velocity)≥5μm/s,STR(straightness)=VSL(straight-line velocity)/VAP(average path velocity)≥25%,the sperm motility of six parts of boar semen was tested at normal temperature using different brands of special fixed-volume slides with a uniform chamber height[(20±2)μm].There were no significant differences in sperm vitality detected by the five CASA systems(P>0.05).The ZB scores of the vitality obtained by observers or instrument engineers who did not have a job certificate from the quality inspection department showed that the results of three observers or instrument engineers were unsatisfactory(∣ZB∣>3),but there were no significant differences in vitality between the CASA systems and the inspector with a job certificate(P>0.05).Regarding sperm density detection,when the sperm density was less than 280×106/ml,there were no significant differences between the results displayed by the instruments and the results of the manual hemocytometer counting(P>0.05).[Conclusions]The accuracy of the CASA systems set to uniform parameters was consistent with the accuracy of the visual vitality obtained by an inspector with a job certificate.When the semen was diluted with 3%NaCl solution to a sperm density<280×10^6/ml,the sperm density detected by the CASA systems was consistent in reliability with that obtained by the hemocytometer detection.The CASA systems are faster and more efficient and objective than manual detection,and have the advantages of strong operability and easy promotion.Xuelin FU Hongjie YANG Yajing CHEN Xin XIA Manting WU Tingting WU Wanghong LIU 2020Agricultural Biotechnology2020,9,6:1
