1Odontoblast β-catenin signaling regulates fenestration of mouse Hertwig's epithelial root sheath显示文摘The interaction between Hertwig's epithelial root sheath(HERS) and the adjacent mesenchyme is vitally important in mouse tooth root development. We previously generated odontoblast-specific Ctnnb1(encoding β-catenin) deletion mice, and demonstrated that odontoblast β-catenin signaling regulates odontoblast proliferation and differentiation. However, the role of odontoblast β-catenin signaling in regulation of HERS behavior has not been fully investigated. Here, using the same odontoblast-specific Ctnnb1 deletion mice, we found that ablation of β-catenin signaling in odontoblasts led to aberrant HERS formation. Mechanistically, odontoblast-specific Ctnnb1 deletion resulted in elevated bone morphogenetic protein 7(Bmp7) expression and reduced expression of noggin and follistatin, both of which encode extracellular inhibitors of BMPs. Furthermore, the levels of phosphorylated Smad1/5/8 were increased in HERS cells. In vitro tissue culture confirmed that BMP7 treatment disrupted the HERS structure. 2Experiment and numerical simulation of melt convection and oxygen distribution in 400-mm Czochralski silicon crystal growth显示文摘Single-crystalline silicon materials with large dimensions have been widely used as assemblies in plasma silicon etching machines.However,information about large-diameter low-cost preparation technology has not been sufficiently reported.In this paper,it was focused on the preparation of 400-mm silicon(100) crystal lightly doped with boron from 28-in.hot zones.Resistivity uniformity and oxygen concentration of the silicon crystal were investigated by direct-current(DC) four-point probes method and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR),respectively.The global heat transfer,melt flow and oxygen distribution were calculated by finite element method(FEM).The results show that 28-in.hot zones can replace conventional 32 in.ones to grow 400-mm-diameter silicon single crystals.The change in crucible diameter can save energy,reduce cost and improve efficiency.The trend of oxygen distribution obtained in calculations is in good agreement with experimental values.The present model can well predict the 400-mm-diameter silicon crystal growth and is essential for the optimization of furnace design and process condition.Ran Teng Yang Li Bin Cui Qing Chang Qing-Hua Xiao Guo-Hu Zhang 2017Rare Metals2017,36,2:6
3Numerical analysis of solid–liquid interface shape during largesize single crystalline silicon with Czochralski method显示文摘Numerical analysis is an effective tool to research the industrial Czochralski(CZ) crystal growth aiming to improve crystal quality and reduce manufacturing costs. In this study, a set of global simulations were carried out to investigate the effect of crystal-crucible rotation and pulling rate on melt convection and solid–liquid(SL) interface shape. Through analyses of the simulation data, it is found that the interface deformation and inherent stress increase during the crystal growth process The interface deflection increases from 7.4 to 51.3 mm with an increase in crystal size from 150 to 400 mm. In addition, the SL interface shape and flow pattern are sensitive to pulling rate and rotation rate. 5Constant envelope FrFT OFDM: spectral and energy efficiency analysis显示文摘Constant envelope with a fractional Fourier transformorthogonal frequency division multiplexing(CE-FrFT-OFDM)is a special case of a constant envelope OFDM(CE-OFDM),both being energy efficient wireless communication techniques with a 0 dB peak to average power ratio(PAPR).However,with the proper selection of fractional order,the first technique has a high bit error rate(BER)performance in the frequency-time selective channels.This paper performs further analysis of CE-FrFT-OFDM by examining its spectral efficiency(SE)and energy efficiency(EE)and compare to the famous OFDM and FrFT-OFDM techniques.Analytical and comprehensive simulations conducted show that,the CE-FrFT-OFDM has five times the EE of OFDM and FrFT-OFDM systems with a slightly less SE.Increasing CE-FrFT-OFDM’s transmission power by increasing its amplitude to 1.7 increases its SE to match that of the OFDM and FrFT-OFDM systems while slightly reducing its EE by 20%to be four times that of OFDM and FrFTOFDM systems.OFDM and FrFT-OFDM’s amplitude fluctuations cause rapid changing output back-off(OBO)power requirements and further reduce power amplifier(PA)efficiency while CE-FrFTOFDM stable operational linear range makes it a better candidate and outperforms the other techniques when their OBO exceeds 1.7.Higher EE and low BER in time-frequency selective channel are attracting features for CE-FrFT-OFDM deployment in mobile devices.DIDA Mussa Ally HUAN Hao TAO Ran WANG Teng URYNBASSAROVA Didar 2019Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2019,30,3:2

19Optimization of heat shield for single silicon crystal growth by using numerical simulation显示文摘In integrated circuit-grade single silicon Czochralski growth, the position and material of heat shield are main parameters affecting the heat exchange and crystal growth condition. By optimizing the above parameters, we attempted to increase the growth rate and crystal quality. Numerical simulation proved to verify the results before and after optimization. Through analyses of the temperature and microdefect distribution, it is found that the optimized heat shield can further increase the pulling rate and decrease the melt/crystal interface deflection, increase the average velocity of argon flow from ~2 to ~5 m·s^-1 , which is in favor of the transportation of SiO, and obtain the low defects concentration crystal and that the average temperature along the melt-free surface is 8 °C higher than before avoiding supercooled melt effectively.TENG Ran ZHOU Qigang DAI Xiaolin WU Zhiqiang XU Wenting XIAO Qinghua WU Xiao GUO Xi 2012Rare Metals2012,31,5:1
