1环境友好型氨基酸表面活性剂的制备及与洗涤相关界面性能的评价显示文摘本文以椰子油为原料,合成了两种氨基酸类型的生物表面活性剂:椰油酰基甘氨酸钾(CGK)和椰油酰基甘氨酸钠(CGN),利用FT-IR,1HNMR,和13CNMR技术对表面活性剂的化学结构进行了表征。通过对两种氨基酸型生物表面活性剂界面性能的研究,发现CGK和CGN均是具有表面活性的,可以有效降低体系的界面自由能。相对于洗涤剂中所使用的传统表面活性剂,CGK和CGN表现出了更好的洗涤效果。环境相容性实验证实CGK和CGN均是易生物降解的、无毒无刺激的、非常温和的。相对于CGN,CGK拥有更强的疏水性和更大的迁移速率,从而导致其更易吸附于气液界面,可以更加有效地降低界面自由能。DaNan Yea SuMin Lee SeonHui Jo HyonPil Yu JongChoo Lim 张永民 2019中国洗涤用品工业2019,,5:6
2Resistance switching for RRAM applications显示文摘Resistive random access memory (RRAM or ReRAM) is a non-volatile memory (NVM) technology that consumes minimal energy while offering sub-nanosecond switching. In addition, the data stability against high temperature and cycling wear is very robust, allowing new NVM applications in a variety of markets (au- tomotive, embedded, storage, RAM). Based on sudden conduction through oxide insulators, the characteristics of RRAM technology have still yet to be fully described. 3Molecular Mechanism of the Specificity of Protein Import into Chloroplasts and Mitochondria in Plant Cells显示文摘Plants possess both types of endosymbiotic organelles, chloroplasts and mitochondria. Transit peptides and presequences function as signal sequences for specific import into chloroplasts and mitochondria, respectively. However, how these highly similar signal sequences confer the protein import specificity remains elusive. Here, we show that mitochondrial- or chloroplast-specific import involves two distinct steps, specificity determination and translocation across envelopes, which are mediated by the N-terminal regions and functionally interchangeable C-terminal regions, respectively, of transit peptides and presequences. A domain harboring multiple-arginine and hydrophobic sequence motifs in the N-terminal regions of presequences was identified as the mitochondrial specificity factor. The presence of this domain and the absence of arginine residues in the N-terminal regions of otherwise common targeting signals confers specificity of protein import into mitochondria and chloroplasts, respectively. AtToc159, a chloroplast import receptor, also contributes to determining chloroplast import specificity. 13Dual-logic-in-memory implementation with orthogonal polarization of van der Waals ferroelectric heterostructure显示文摘The rapid advancement of AI-enabled applications has resulted in an increasing need for energy-efficient computing hardware.Logic-in-memory is a promising approach for processing the data stored in memory,wherein fast and efficient computations are possible owing to the parallel execution of reconfigurable logic operations.In this study,a dual-logic-in-memory device,which can simultaneously perform two logic operations in four states,is demonstrated using van der Waals ferroelectric field-effect transistors(vdW FeFETs).The proposed dual-logic-in-memory device,which also acts as a twobit storage device,is a single bidirectional polarization-integrated ferroelectric field-effect transistor(BPI-FeFET).It is fabricated by integrating an in-plane vdW ferroelectric semiconductor SnS and an out-of-plane vdW ferroelectric gate dielectric material—CuInP2S6.Four reliable resistance states with excellent endurance and retention characteristics were achieved.The two-bit storage mechanism in a BPI-FeFET was analyzed from two perspectives:carrier density and carrier injection controls,which originated from the out-of-plane polarization of the gate dielectric and in-plane polarization of the semiconductor,respectively.Unlike conventional multilevel FeFETs,the proposed BPIFeFET does not require additional pre-examination or erasing steps to switch from/to an intermediate polarization,enabling direct switching between the four memory states.To utilize the fabricated BPI-FeFET as a dual-logic-inmemory device,two logical operations were selected(XOR and AND),and their parallel execution was demonstrated.Different types of logic operations could be implemented by selecting different initial states,demonstrating various types of functions required for numerous neural network operations.The flexibility and efficiency of the proposed dual-logic-in-memory device appear promising in the realization of next-generation low-power computing systems.Jingjie Niu Sumin Jeon Donggyu Kim Sungpyo Baek Hyun Ho Yoo Jie Li Ji-Sang Park Yoonmyung Lee Sungjoo Lee 2024InfoMat2024,6,2:0
14Can an Invasive Prey Species Induce Morphological and Behavioral Changes in an Endemic Predator? Evidence from a South Korean Snake(Oocatochus rufodorsatus)显示文摘Introduction of an invasive prey species into an ecosystem may affect an endemic predator's fitness by altering the prey-predator system. Successful adaptation may allow the endemic predator to eat and control the invasive species, while unsuccessful adaptation may result in extinction of the predator. We examine the possible effects of the invasive North American bullfrog(Rana [Lithobates] catesbeiana) on the endemic Red-backed rat snake(Oocatochus rufodorsatus) in South Korea. We do so by comparing the morphology and behavior of adult and hatchling snakes from bullfrog-exposed(Taean) and bullfrog-unexposed(Hongcheon) populations. Among the seven morphological characteristics investigated, relative tail length(tail length/snout-vent length) of both adults and hatchlings from Taean was significantly greater than that of adults and hatchlings from Hongcheon. Also, adult snakes from Taean had a significantly shorter latency of first tongue flick in response to prey compared to adults from Hongcheon. This difference was not observed in hatchlings. In other snake species, a longer relative tail length and shorter latency of first tongue flick are known to improve foraging efficiency, and these characters may be adaptations of O. rufodorsatus to prey on bullfrogs.
