1Effect of quercetin-containing preservatives and modified atmospheric packaging on the production of biogenic amines in Pacific white shrimp(Litopenaeus vannamei)显示文摘To investigate the productions of biogenic amines(BAs)in Pacific white shrimp treated by compound preservatives(P,0.05 g/L quercetin,0.025 g/L 4-hexylresorcinol,and 0.025 g/L cinnamic acid)in combination with modified atmosphere packaging(M,80% CO_(2)/10% O_(2)/10% N_(2)),four groups of samples treated with or without preservatives and alone or in combination with modified atmosphere packaging(A,A+P,M,M+P)during storage at 4℃for 12 days were analyzed.Most BAs increased in all samples,especially,putrescine and cadaverine.MAP inhibited the increase of most BAs(except for tyramine)and psychrotrophic bacterial counts.The inhibitory effect of the compound preservatives on bacterial growth and BAs was limited in aerobically-and MAP-stored samples,but they retarded the production of tyramine,which accumulated more rapidly in MAP.Lowest total BAs and bacterial counts were found in sample M+P(78.3 mg/kg and 5.82 log cfu/g,day 12),indicating that the combined treatment of the preservatives and MAP could reduce the risk of disorders caused by BAs.Yunfang Qian Shengping Yang Jing-xin Ye Jing Xie 2018Aquaculture and Fisheries2018,3,6:7
2Reconstruction clipping of ruptured anterior circulation aneurysms via supraorbital lateral keyhole approach显示文摘Background:Intracranial aneurysm(IA)is a serious disease.Analyze and review the cases of anterior circulation ruptured IA by supraorbital lateral keyhole approach,and summarize the experiences of this approach.Methods:Retrospective analysis of 16 cases of ruptured anterior circulation IA in our department from January 2019 to June 2020,CT angiography(CTA)was performed before operation.Analyzing the IA’s parameters by 3D-CT reconstruction.The IA was clipped by supraorbital lateral keyhole approach combined with the 3D-skull reconstruction.Extraventricular drainage was performed before craniotomy.Intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring was performed during the operation.After operation,fluorescein angiography and vascular ultrasound were performed to check the clipping effect.Intracranial pressure monitor was performed postoperatively.CTA was reexamined one week after operation.The modified Rankin Scale(MRS)was performed 6 months after operation.Results:There were 7 males(43.8%)and 9 females(56.2%),and the average age is 52.31±11.12 years old.Among them,11 patients(68.8%)were anterior communicating artery aneurysms and 5(31.2%)were middle cerebral artery aneurysms.All patients were out of hospital within 10 days without any death,without cerebral infarction,cerebrospinal fluid leakage and neurological impairments.About mRS score,after 6 months follow-up,8 cases(50%)had 0 point,4 cases(25%)had 1 point,and 4 cases(25%)had 2 points.Conclusions:For ruptured anterior circulation IA,the supraorbital lateral keyhole approach combined with ventricular drainage,intraoperative electrophysiological monitoring,and intraoperative vascular ultrasound is a safe and minimally invasive treatment.The application of reconstruction clipping can reconstruct the diameter of parent vessel and reduce the recurrence rate of IA.Yuzhang Wu Yan Zhao Shengping Yu Fan Li Shifei Cai Chao Peng Zhen Wang Yifan Yang Bangyue Wang Xinyu Yang 2022Chinese Neurosurgical Journal2022,8,2:2
3Connection between the Silk Road Pattern in July and the Following January Temperature over East Asia显示文摘This study investigates a cross-seasonal influence of the Silk Road Pattern(SRP)in July and discusses the related mechanism.Both the reanalysis and observational datasets indicate that the July SRP is closely related to the following January temperature over East Asia during 1958/59–2001/02.Linear regression results reveal that,following a higher-than-normal SRP index in July,the Siberian high,Aleutian low,Urals high,East Asian trough,and meridional shear of the East Asian jet intensify significantly in January.Such atmospheric circulation anomalies are favorable for northerly wind anomalies over East Asia,leading to more southward advection of cold air and causing a decrease in temperature.Further analysis indicates that the North Pacific sea surface temperature anomalies(SSTAs)might play a critical role in storing the anomalous signal of the July SRP.The significant SSTAs related to the July SRP weaken in October and November,re-emerge in December,and strengthen in the following January.Such an SSTA pattern in January can induce a surface anomalous cyclone over North Pacific and lead to dominant convergence anomalies over northwestern Pacific.Correspondingly,significant divergence anomalies appear,collocated in the upper-level troposphere in situ.Due to the advection of vorticity by divergent wind,which can be regarded as a wave source,a stationary Rossby wave originates from North Pacific and propagates eastward to East Asia,leading to temperature anomalies through its influence on the large-scale atmospheric circulation.Shengping HE Yang LIU Huijun WANG 2017Journal of Meteorological Research2017,31,2:2

12Metal-organic frameworks-derived hierarchical ZnO structures as efficient sensing materials for formaldehyde detection显示文摘Semiconducting metal oxides have been considered as effective approach for designing highperformance chemical sensing materials.In this paper,a kind of metal-organic frameworks ZIF-8 was used as sacrificed template to prepare porous ZnO hollow nanocubes for the application in gas sensing.It is found that changing calcination temperature and solvent can greatly influence the morphology of the material,which finally affects the gas sensing performance.Acetylene-sensing properties of the sensors were investigated in detail.It can be clearly seen that the material used methanol as reaction solvent with the decomposition at 350℃for 2 h(ZnO-350-M)showed the optimal formaldehyde-sensing behaviors compared with other materials prepared in this experiment.The dynamic transients of the ZnO-350-M-based sensors demonstrated a high response value(about 10),fast response and recovery rate(4 s and 4 s,respectively)and good selectivity towards 100 ppm(part per million)formaldehyde as well as a low detectable limit(1 ppm).As exemplified for the sensing inve stigation towards formaldehyde,the porous ZnO hollow nanocubes showed a significantly improved chemical sensitivity due to the highly syne rgistic effects from the well exposed surfaces,defect states and the robust ZnO.Nan Zhang Luming Yan Yang Lu Yizhuo Fan Sijia Guo Samira Adimi Dali Liu Shengping Ruan 2020Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,8:1
13Genome-wide analysis of expansins and their role in fruit spine development in cucumber(Cucumis sativus L.)显示文摘Cucumber is one of the most widely consumed vegetables worldwide,and the fruit spine is an important fruit quality trait.Expansins play critical roles in fruit development;however,the regulation of expansins in cucumber fruit spine development has not been reported.In this study,33 expansin genes were identified in the cucumber genome V3;additionally,expansin genes in Citrullus lanatus,Cucumis melo,Cucurbita maxima,Lagenaria siceraria,and Benincasa hispida were also identified.Phylogenetic analysis of expansin proteins in Cucurbitaceae and Arabidopsis showed that they evolved separately in each plant species.Phylogenetic analysis showed that C.maxima was derived earlier than the other five Cucurbitaceae species.The expression of CsEXPA2,CsEXPA14,and CsEXLA3 varied in cucumber lines with different fruit spine densities.A yeast two-hybrid assay showed that a putative auxin transporter encoded by numerous spine gene(ns)interacts with CsEXLA2,which may be involved in the development of the numerous spines in cucumber.These results provide novel insights into the expansins related to plant development and fruit spine development in cucumber.Xiaoping Liu Shaoyun Dong Han Miao Kailiang Bo Caixia Li Yingying Yang Xingfang Gu Shengping Zhang 2022Horticultural Plant Journal2022,8,6:1

19A de novo missense mutation in MPP2 confers an increased risk of Vogt–Koyanagi–Harada disease as shown by trio-based whole-exome sequencing显示文摘Vogt–Koyanagi–Harada(VKH)disease is a leading cause of blindness in young and middle-aged people.However,the etiology of VKH disease remains unclear.Here,we performed the first trio-based whole-exome sequencing study,which enrolled 25 VKH patients and 50 controls,followed by a study of 2081 VKH patients from a Han Chinese population to uncover detrimental mutations.A total of 15 de novo mutations in VKH patients were identified,with one of the most important being the membrane palmitoylated protein 2(MPP2)p.K315N(MPP2-N315)mutation.The MPP2-N315 mutation was highly deleterious according to bioinformatic predictions.Additionally,this mutation appears rare,being absent from the 1000 Genome Project and Genome Aggregation Database,and it is highly conserved in 10 species,including humans and mice.Subsequent studies showed that pathological phenotypes and retinal vascular leakage were aggravated in MPP2-N315 mutation knock-in or MPP2-N315 adeno-associated virus-treated mice with experimental autoimmune uveitis(EAU).In vitro,we used clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats(CRISPR‒Cas9)gene editing technology to delete intrinsic MPP2 before overexpressing wild-type MPP2 or MPP2-N315.Levels of cytokines,such as IL-1β,IL-17E,and vascular endothelial growth factor A,were increased,and barrier function was destroyed in the MPP2-N315 mutant ARPE19 cells.Mechanistically,the MPP2-N315 mutation had a stronger ability to directly bind to ANXA2 than MPP2-K315,as shown by LC‒MS/MS and Co-IP,and resulted in activation of the ERK3/IL-17E pathway.Overall,our results demonstrated that the MPP2-K315N mutation may increase susceptibility to VKH disease.Xianyang Liu Jiayu Meng Xingyun Liao Yusen Liu Qian Zhou Zongren Xu Shuming Yin Qingfeng Cao Guannan Su Siyuan He Wanqian Li Xiaotang Wang Guoqing Wang Dali Li Peizeng Yang Shengping Hou 2023Cellular & Molecular Immunology2023,20,11:0
20Is It Easy to Recognize Baby's Age and Gender?显示文摘Face analysis tasks,e.g.,estimating gender or age from a face image,have been attracting increasing interest in recent years.However,most existing studies focus mainly on analyzing an adult's face and ignore an interesting question:is it easy to estimate gender and age from a baby's face?In this paper,we explore this interesting problem.We first collect a new face image dataset for our research,named BabyFace,which contains 15528 images from 5872 babies younger than two years old.Besides gender,each face image is annotated with age in months from 0 to 24.In addition,we propose new age estimation and gender recognition methods.In particular,based on SSR-Net backbone,we introduce the attention mechanism module to solve the age estimation problem on the BabyFace dataset,named SSR-SE.In the part of gender recognition,inspired by the age estimation method,we also use a two-stream structure,named Two-Steam SE-block with Augment(TSSEAug).We extensively evaluate the performance of the proposed methods against the state-of-the-art methods on BabyFace.Our age estimation model achieves very appealing performance with an estimation error of less than two months.The proposed gender recognition method obtains the best accuracy among all compared methods.To the best of our knowledge,we are the first to study age estimation and gender recognition from a baby's face image,which is complementary to existing adult gender and age estimation methods and can shed some light on exploring baby face analysis.Yang Liu Ruili He Xiaoqian Lv Wei Wang Xin Sun Shengping Zhang 2021Journal of Computer Science & Technology2021,36,3:0
