1Synthesis and luminescence properties of novel Ce^3+-doped Yb3Al5-xGaxO12 garnets with very fast decay time显示文摘A novel series of Ce^(3+)-doped Yb_3 Al_(5-x)Ga_xO_(12)(x = 0, 1,2, 3,4, 5) powders of ytterbium aluminum gallium garnets were synthesized by high temperature solid-state reaction in a carbon reducing atmosphere. The ytterbium aluminum garnets were characterized by X-ray powder diffraction, UV-Vis diffuse reflectance spectra, photoluminescence spectra and decay curves. Moreover, the substitution effect for the Al^(3+) sites with Ga^(3+) in 0.5 at%Ce:Yb_3 Al_(5-x)Ga_xO_(12)(x = 0,1, 2, 3, 4, 5) garnets were discussed. With the increase of Ga^(3+) ion concentration, the visible absorption peaks within 400-450 nm have blue shift phenomenon,while the absorption peaks in the range of 330-350 nm and the absorption band edge red shifts.Furthermore, the short decay times are very short with less than 10 ns due to the Yb^(3+) + Ce^(3+)→ Yb^(2+) + Ce^(4+) electron transfer reaction.Ru Li Jie Yin Fei Du Peng Zhang Shangke Pan Jianguo Pan 2018Journal of Rare Earths2018,36,8:1

8Prediction of the joint impacts of sea level rise and land development on distribution patterns of mangrove communities显示文摘Mangrove distribution along shorelines shows distinct zonation patterns;thus,different communities may face various influences from sea level rise(SLR)and land use.However,long-term change predictions are usually based only on the total extent of mangroves.Few studies have revealed how SLR and land development such as agriculture,aquaculture,and urbanization jointly affect different intertidal mangrove communities.This study proposed a novel framework combining SLAMM(Sea Level Affecting Marshes Model)and the CLUE-S(Conversion of Land Use and its Effect at Small regional extent)model to assess the potential impacts on upper and lower intertidal mangrove communities.Maoweihai in Guangxi,China,was selected as the study area and the potential impacts from the squeeze effect and mangrove expansion potential were evaluated.We established three scenarios combining SLR and land use patterns to predict mangrove coverage projections by 2070.The results showed that,under a single SLR driver,the upper intertidal mangroves would be more adaptive to rapid SLR than the lower intertidal mangroves.However,under the combined influence of the two drivers,the upper intertidal mangroves would experience larger squeeze effects than the lower intertidal mangroves,with up to 80.5%of suitable habitat lost.Moreover,the expansion potential of upper intertidal mangroves would be considerably more limited than that of lower intertidal mangroves.The length of the expandable habitat patch boundary of upper intertidal mangroves only reached 1.4–1.8 km,while that of the lower intertidal mangroves reached up to99.2–111.2 km.Further,we found that aquaculture ponds and cropland are the top two land development types that could occupy suitable habitat and restrict the mangrove expansion potential.Our results highlight that timely improvement of land use policies to create available landward accommodation space for mangrove migration is essential to maintain the coverage and diversity of mangrove communities under SLR.The proposed method can be a helpful tool for adaptive mangrove conservation and management under climate change.Shanshan Liang Wenjia Hu Peiqiang Wu Jianbu Wang Shangke Su Guangcheng Chen Jianguo Du Wenhua Liu Bin Chen 2023Forest Ecosystems2023,10,2:0
9Preparation of multigradient hydroxyapatite scaffolds and evaluation of their osteoinduction properties显示文摘Porous hydroxyapatite(HA)scaffolds are often used as bone repair materials,owing to their good biocompatibility,osteoconductivity and low cost.Vascularization and osteoinductivity of porous HA scaffolds were limited in clinical application,and these disadvantages were need to be improved urgently.We used water-in-oil gelation and pore former methods to prepare HA spheres and a porous cylindrical HA container,respectively.The prepared HA spheres were filled in container to assemble into composite scaffold.By adjusting the solid content of the slurry(solid mixture of chitin sol and HA powder)and the sintering temperature,the porosity and crystallinity of the HA spheres could be significantly improved;and mineralization of the HA spheres significantly improved the biological activity of the composite scaffold.The multigradient(porosity,crystallinity and mineralization)scaffold(HA-700)filled with the mineralized HA spheres exhibited a lower compressive strength;however,in vivo results showed that their vascularization ability were higher than those of other groups,and their osteogenic Gini index(Go:an index of bone mass,and inversely proportional to bone mass)showed a continuous decrease with the implantation time.This study provides a new method to improve porous HA scaffolds and meet the demands of bone tissue engineering applications.Hao Huang Anchun Yang Jinsheng Li Tong Sun Shangke Yu Xiong Lu Tailin Guo Ke Duan Pengfei Zheng Jie Weng 2022Regenerative Biomaterials2022,9,1:0
10Prediction model for cost data of a power transmission and transformation project based on Pearson correlation coefficient-IPSO-ELM显示文摘In view of the difficulty in predicting the cost data of power transmission and transformation projects at present,a method based on Pearson correlation coefficient-improved particle swarm optimization(IPSO)-extreme learning machine(ELM)is proposed.In this paper,the Pearson correlation coefficient is used to screen out the main influencing factors as the input-independent variables of the ELM algorithm and IPSO based on a ladder-structure coding method is used to optimize the number of hidden-layer nodes,input weights and bias values of the ELM.Therefore,the prediction model for the cost data of power transmission and transformation projects based on the Pearson correlation coefficient-IPSO-ELM algorithm is constructed.Through the analysis of calculation examples,it is proved that the prediction accuracy of the proposed method is higher than that of other algorithms,which verifies the effectiveness of the model.Ju Xin Liu ShangKe Xiao YanLi Wan Ye 2021Clean Energy2021,5,4:0
11Optimal Operation of Electric Vehicles and Distributed Generation Resources in Smart Grid Considering Load Management显示文摘Technology advancement and the global tendency to use renewable energy in distributed generation units in the distribution network have been proposed as sources of energy supply.Despite the complexity of their protection,as well as the operation of distributed generation resources in the distribution network,factors such as improving reliability,increasing production capacity of the distribution network,stabilizing the voltage of the distribution network,reducing peak clipping losses,as well as economic and environmental considerations,have expanded the influence of distributed generation(DG)resources in the distribution network.The location of DG sources and their capacity are the key factors in the effectiveness of distributed generation in the voltage stability of distribution systems.Nowadays,along with the scattered production sources of electric vehicles with the ability to connect to the network,due to having an energy storage system,they are known as valuable resources that can provide various services to the power system.These vehicles can empower the grid or be used as a storage supply source when parked and connected to the grid.This paper introduces and studies a two-stage planning framework for the concurrent management of many electric vehicles and distributed generation resources with private ownership.In the first stage,the aim is to increase the profit of electric vehicles and distributed generation sources;finally,the purpose is to reduce operating costs.The proposed scheduling framework is tested on a distribution network connected to bus 5 of the RBTS sample network.Besides distributed generation sources and electric vehicles,we integrate time-consistent load management into the system.Due to distributed generation sources such as photovoltaic systems and wind turbines and the studied design in the modeling,we use the Taguchi TOAT algorithm to generate and reduce the scenario to ensure the uncertainty in renewable energy.MATLAB software is used to solve the problem and select the optimal answer.Zheng Wang Shangke Liu Yanli Xiao Ye Wan Bin Bai 2022Energy Engineering2022,119,6:0

13Impact of climate change on potential habitat distribution of Sciaenidae in the coastal waters of China显示文摘Climate change has affected and will continue to affect the spatial distribution patterns of marine organisms.To understand the impact of climate change on the distribution patterns and species richness of the Sciaenidae in China’s coastal waters,the maximum entropy model was used to combine six environmental factors and predict the potential distribution of 12 major species of Sciaenidae by 2050s under Representative Concentration Pathways(RCPs)2.6 and 8.5.The results showed that the average area under the receiver operating characteristic curve of the model was 0.917,indicating that the model predictions were accurate and reliable.The main driving factors affecting the potential distribution of these fishes were dissolved oxygen,salinity,and sea surface temperature(SST).There was an overall northward shift in the potential habitat areas of these fishes under the two climate scenarios.The total potential habitat areas of Larimichthys polyactis,Pennahia argentata,and Pennahia pawak decreased under both climate scenarios,while the total habitat area of Johnius belengerii,Pennahia anea,Miichthys miiuy,Collichthys lucidus,and Collichthys niveatus increased,suggesting that these might be loser and winner species,respectively.The expansion rate,contraction rate,degree of centroid change,and species richness in the potential habitats were generally more significant under RCP8.5 than RCP2.6.The mean shift rates of the potential distribution were 41.50 km/(10 a) and 29.20 km/(10 a) under RCP8.5 and RCP2.6,respectively.The changes in Sciaenidae species richness under climate change were bounded by the Changjiang River Estuary waters,with obvious north-south differences.Some waters with increased species richness may become refuges for Sciaenidae fishes under climate change.The richness and habitat area change rate of some aquatic germplasm resources will decrease,meanings that these reserves are more sensitive to climate change,and more attention should be paid to the potential challenges and opportunities for fishery managers.This study may provide a scientific basis for the management and conservation of Sciaenidae in China under climate change.Wen Yang Wenjia Hu Bin Chen Hongjian Tan Shangke Su Like Ding Peng Dong Weiwei Yu Jianguo Du 2023Acta Oceanologica Sinica2023,42,4:0
