Analysis of the relationship between bile duct and duodenal microbiota reveals that potential dysbacteriosis is the main cause of primary common bile duct stones显示文摘Bacteria play an important role in the formation of primary Common Bile Duct(CBD)stones. However, the composition and function of the microbiota of bile duct in patients with primary CBD stones remained to be explored. We utilized the 16S rRNA gene high-throughput sequencing technology to analyze the microbial diversity and community composition of biliary and duodenal microbiota in 15 patients with primary CBD stones and 4 patients without biliary tract diseases.Alpha diversity analysis showed that the microbiota richness was similar in bile and intestinal fluid;Beta diversity analysis showed that there were differences in the composition between biliary microbiota and the duodenal microbiota, but the abundance of the main groups showed similarities. The composition of the biliary microbiota from gallstone patients was more complex,as was the duodenal microbiota.Proteobacteria and Firmicutes were the dominant bacteria at phylum level, accounting for at least 75%of the total reads in each subgroup.Pseudomonas and EscherichiaShigella were the major genus among subgroups, but Escherichia-Shigella had increased abundance in duodenal microbiota with primary choledocholithiasis, which may play an important role in stone formation. It is noteworthy that Clostridiumsensu_stricto,Lachnospiraceae_UCG-008,Butyrivibrio and Roseburia which could produce short chain fatty acids(SCFAs),were significantly decreased in biliary microbiota with primary CBD stones(p<0.05).Our study provided new insights into the compositional of normal biliary microbiota. The micro-ecology of biliary and duodenal in patients with stones is complex and closely related, and there is a potential for dysbacteriosis. The decrease in abundance of certain major acid-producing bacteria affects the health of the biliary tract and thus leads to the formation of stones. | Zhitang Lyu Tingting Yu Lichao Zhang Xiaona Xu Yijun Zhang Jihong Li Zhirong Li Wei Zhang Senlin Hou | 2021 | Synthetic and Systems Biotechnology2021,6,4: | 2
Synthesis of nitrogen-doped carbon spheres using the modified Stober method for supercapacitors显示文摘Nitrogen-doped carbon spheres (NCSs) with uniform and regular morphology were facilely prepared by the modified Stober method. Hexamethylenetetramine (HMT) was selected as the starting material, which decomposed to provide nitrogen and carbon sources for the synthesis of NCSs. The decomposition product formaldehyde polymerized to form carbon skeleton with resorcinol after carbonization, and the in-situ nitrogen doping was achieved with the decomposed nitrogen source. NCSs were obtained with regular spherical morphology, high specific surface area, and suitable nitrogen doping. When used as the electrode material, NCSs exhibited good capacitance and electrochemical stability, indicating that NCSs be the promising candidate for the electrode material of high-performance supercapacitors. | Meng LIU Lei LIU Yifeng YU Haijun LV Aibing CHEN Senlin HOU | 2019 | Frontiers of Materials Science2019,13,2: | 1
Self-deposition for mesoporous carbon nanosheet with supercapacitor application显示文摘Porous carbon sheets have wide application prospects in many fields, especially in energy storage of supercapacitor due to the features combining both 2D structure and porous architectures.Herein,a self-deposition approach is proposed to obtain N-doped mesoporous carbon nanosheets (N-MCNs),using 3-aminophenol (3-AF) as precursor and Mg(OH)_(2) sheet as hard template. This process realizes the direct carbon formation using 3-AF monomer as carbon precursor under the catalysis of hard template avoiding the polymerization and utilization of solvent. The mass ratio of 3-AF to Mg(OH)_(2) plays an important role in determining the pore structures and the resulting capacitance behavior. The results show that N-MCNs with a mass ratio of 3-AF and Mg(OH)_(2) of 1:1 have good electrochemical behavior for supercapacitors. This N-MCNs based electrode exhibits a high capacitance of 240 F·g^(-1)at 1 A·g^(-1),good rate performance(75.4%retention ratio at 20 A·g^(-1)),and high cycling stability with 98.3% initial capacitance retained after 10000 cycles.Symmetric supercapacitors on N-MCNs achieve energy density of 18.2 W·h·kg^(-1) and power density of 0.4 kW·kg^(-1) operated within a wide potential range of 0–1.6 V in 1.0 mol·L^(-1) Na_(2)SO_(4) solution, exhibiting its potential for electrode materials with high performance. | Juan Du Aibing Chen Senlin Hou Xueqing Gao | 2023 | Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2023,55,3: | 0
ERCP combined with colonoscopy in the treatment of biliary-colonic fistula:case report and literature review显示文摘Introduction Internal biliary fistula is a potentially serious complication of laparoscopic cholecystectomy[1].Biliary-colonic fistula is a rare type of internal biliary fistula.Formation of a biliary-colonic fistula can occur as the result of surgical injury, stone obstruction, and biliary hypertension.More infrequent causes include intestinal ulcer and malignant tumor. The formation of a fistula also has the effect of infection and inflammation. While very few cases of biliary-colonic fistulas have been reported, these cases typically present with the aforementioned clinical presentations[2,3].In the present case,a biliary-colonic fistula resulting from bile-duct injury after laparoscopic cholecystectomy was identified by endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography(ERCP).We innovatively adopted ERCP combined with colonoscopy to clamp the sinus tract for the patient. | Hongfei He Tingting Yu Yaoting Li Senlin Hou Lichao Zhang | 2023 | Gastroenterology Report2023,11,1: | 0
Novel per-oral cholangioscopy for treatment of occult accessory hepatic duct stones显示文摘Introduction The accessory hepatic duct is a variation of the biliary tree and is considered to be an important factor contributing to bile duct injury during surgery[1].Accessory hepatic duct stones are a rare form of cholelithiasis. The angle at which the accessory hepatic duct opens into the common bile duct makes it difficult to remove stones using conventional endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography(ERCP).We reported a rare and insidious case of an accessory hepatic duct stone. The patient’s abdominal computed tomography(CT)did not reveal any abnormalities, but endoscopic ultrasound revealed a stone in the bile duct opening into a branch of the common bile duct. The patient underwent ERCP,and cholangiography showed no abnormalities. However, the accessory hepatic duct opening was found in the common bile duct and the accessory hepatic duct stones were successfully removed using the EyeMax Choledochoscope System Digital Controller(Nanjing,China). | Tingting Yu Yaoting Li Hongfei He Senlin Hou Lichao Zhang | 2023 | Gastroenterology Report2023,11,1: | 0
CNT modified by mesoporous carbon anchored by Ni nanoparticles for CO_(2) electrochemical reduction显示文摘The design of novel catalysts for efficient electroreduction of CO_(2) into valueadded chemicals is a promising approach to alleviate the energy crisis.Herein,we successfully modify the carbon nanotube by a layer of mesoporous carbon shell anchored by nickel(Ni)nanoparticles.Ni species effectively enable carbon deposition derived from pyrolysis of surfactant 1-hexadecyl trimethyl ammonium bromide to form a mesoporous carbon shell. At the same time,Ni nanoparticles can be embedded in the mesoporous carbon shell due to the confinement effect.Owing to the dispersive Ni nanoparticles and N-doping active sites of mesoporous carbon, the as-prepared electrocatalyst exhibits exciting catalytic performance for the selective reduction of CO_(2) to carbon monoxide(CO)with a maximum Faradaic efficiency of 98%at a moderate overpotential of−0.81 V(vs.reversible hydrogen electrode)and a high partial current density of 60 mA cm^(−2) in H-cell with an aqueous electrolyte. | Juan Du Aibing Chen Senlin Hou Jing Guan | 2022 | Carbon Energy2022,4,6: | 0
