1New vacuum solar telescope and observations with high resolution显示文摘The New Vacuum Solar Telescope(NVST) is a one meter vacuum solar telescope that aims to observe fine structures on the Sun. The main goals of NVST are high resolution imaging and spectral observations, including measurements of the solar magnetic field. NVST is the primary ground-based facility used by the Chinese solar research community in this solar cycle. It is located by Fuxian Lake in southwest China, where the seeing is good enough to perform high resolution observations. We first introduce the general conditions at the Fuxian Solar Observatory and the primary science cases of NVST. Then, the basic structures of this telescope and instruments are described in detail. 2A Review on Cable-driven Parallel Robots显示文摘Cable-driven parallel robots(CDPRs) are categorized as a type of parallel manipulators. In CDPRs, flexible cables are used to take the place of rigid links. The particular property of cables provides CDPRs several advantages, including larger workspaces, higher payload-to-weight ratio and lower manufacturing costs rather than rigid-link robots. In this paper, the history of the development of CDPRs is introduced and several successful latest application cases of CDPRs are presented. The theory development of CDPRs is introduced focusing on design, performance analysis and control theory. Research on CDPRs gains wide attention and is highly motivated by the modern engineering demand for large load capacity and workspace. A number of exciting advances in CDPRs are summarized in this paper since it is proposed in the 1980 s, which points to a fruitful future both in theory and application. 3A double-blind,randomized,placebo-and positive-controlled phase III trial of 1% benvitimod cream in mild-to-moderate plaque psoriasis显示文摘Background:Benvitimod cream,a novel synthetic small molecule,was effective in treating mild-to-moderate plaque psoriasis.We conducted a phase III clinical trial to assess the efficacy and safety of benvitimod cream in patients with mild-to-moderate plaque psoriasis.Methods:We randomly assigned 686 patients(2:1:1)to receive 1%benvitimod cream,0.005%calcipotriol ointment or placebo twice a day for 12 weeks.The primary efficacy end points were the percentage of patients with a 75%or greater reduction from baseline in the psoriasis area and severity index(PASI 75)score and with a score of 0 or 1 in static physician’s global assessment(sPGA)at week 12.Results:The results showed that 50.4%of patients in the benvitimod group achieved PASI 75,which was significantly higher than that in the calcipotriol(38.5%,P<0.05)and placebo(13.9%,P<0.05)groups.The proportion of patients achieving an sPGA score 0 or 1 was 66.3%in the benvitimod group and 63.9%in the calcipotriol group,which were both significantly higher than that in the placebo group(34%,P<0.05).In the long-term follow-up study,50.8%of patients experienced recurrence.After retreatment with 1%benvitimod,73.3%of patients achieved an sPGA score of 0 or 1 again at week 52.Adverse events included application site irritation,follicular papules,and contact dermatitis.No systemic adverse reactions were reported.Conclusion:During this 12-week study,benvitimod cream was demonstrated with high effectiveness and safety in patients with mild-to-moderate plaque psoriasis.Lin Cai Gen-Hui Chen Qian-Jin Lu Min Zheng Yu-Zhen Li Jin Chen Jie Zheng Fu-Ren Zhang Jian-Bin Yu Sen Yang Fu-Qiu Li Sheng-Xiang Xiao Qiu-Ning Sun Jin-Hua Xu Xing-Hua Gao Hong Fang Tian-Wen Gao Fei Hao Quan-Zhong Liu Ya-Ting Tu Ruo-Yu Li Bao-Xi Wang Dan-Qi Deng Qing-Shan Zheng Hong-Xia Liu Jian-Zhong Zhang 2020Chinese Medical Journal2020,,24:11
4Olivine-norite rock detected by the lunar rover Yutu-2 likely crystallized from the SPA-impact melt pool显示文摘Chang’E-4 landed in the South Pole-Aitken(SPA)basin,providing a unique chance to probe the composition of the lunar interior.Its landing site is located on ejecta strips in Von Karm´an crater that´possibly originate from the neighboring Finsen crater.A surface rock and the lunar regolith at 10 sites along the rover Yutu-2 track were measured by the onboard Visible and Near-Infrared Imaging Spectrometer in the first three lunar days of mission operations.In situ spectra of the regolith have peak band positions at 1 and 2μm,similar to the spectral data of Finsen ejecta from the Moon Mineralogy Mapper,which confirms that the regolith’s composition of the landing area is mostly similar to that of Finsen ejecta.The rock spectrum shows similar band peak positions,but stronger absorptions,suggesting relatively fresh exposure.The rock may consist of 38.1±5.4%low-Ca pyroxene,13.9±5.1%olivine and 48.0±3.1%plagioclase,referred to as olivine-norite.The plagioclase-abundant and olivine-poor modal composition of the rock is inconsistent with the origin of the mantle,but representative of the lunar lower crust.Alternatively,the rock crystallized from the impact-derived melt pool formed by the SPA-impact event via mixing the lunar crust and mantle materials.This scenario is consistent with fast-cooling thermal conditions of a shallow melt pool,indicated by the fine to medium-sized texture(<3 mm)of the rock and the SPA-impact melting model[Icarus 2012;220:730–43].Honglei Lin Zhiping He Wei Yang Yangting Lin Rui Xu Chi Zhang Meng-Hua Zhu Rui Chang Jinhai Zhang Chunlai Li Hongyu Lin Yang Liu Sheng Gou Yong Wei Sen Hu Changbin Xue Jianfeng Yang Jie Zhong Xiaohui Fu Weixing Wan Yongliao Zou 2020National Science Review2020,7,5:9
5Advances of polymer binders for silicon-based anodes in high energy density lithium-ion batteries显示文摘Conventional lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)with graphite anodes are approaching their theoretical limitations in energy density.Replacing the conventional graphite anodes with high-capacity Si-based anodes represents one of the most promising strategies to greatly boost the energy density of LIBs.However,the inherent huge volume expansion of Si-based materials after lithiation and the resulting series of intractable problems,such as unstable solid electrolyte interphase layer,cracking of electrode,and especially the rapid capacity degradation of cells,severely restrict the practical application of Sibased anodes.Over the past decade,numerous reports have demonstrated that polymer binders play a critical role in alleviating the volume expansion and maintaining the integrity and stable cycling of Si-based anodes.In this review,the state-of-the-art designing of polymer binders for Si-based anodes have been systematically summarized based on their structures,including the linear,branched,crosslinked,and conjugated conductive polymer binders.Especially,the comprehensive designing of multifunctional polymer binders,by a combination of multiple structures,interactions,crosslinking chemistries,ionic or electronic conductivities,soft and hard segments,and so forth,would be promising to promote the practical application of Si-based anodes.Finally,a perspective on the rational design of practical polymer binders for the large-scale application of Si-based anodes is presented.Yu-Ming Zhao Feng-Shu Yue Shi-Cheng Li Yu Zhang Zhong-Rong Tian Quan Xu Sen Xin Yu-Guo Guo 2021InfoMat2021,3,5:8
6Association of Overlapped and Un-overlapped Comorbidities with COVID-19 Severity and Treatment Outcomes: A Retrospective Cohort Study from Nine Provinces in China显示文摘Objective Several COVID-19 patients have overlapping comorbidities. The independent role of each component contributing to the risk of COVID-19 is unknown, and how some non-cardiometabolic comorbidities affect the risk of COVID-19 remains unclear.Methods A retrospective follow-up design was adopted. A total of 1,160 laboratory-confirmed patients were enrolled from nine provinces in China. Data on comorbidities were obtained from the patients’ medical records. Multivariable logistic regression models were used to estimate the odds ratio(OR) and 95% confidence interval(95% CI) of the associations between comorbidities(cardiometabolic or non-cardiometabolic diseases), clinical severity, and treatment outcomes of COVID-19.Results Overall, 158(13.6%) patients were diagnosed with severe illness and 32(2.7%) had unfavorable outcomes. Hypertension(2.87, 1.30–6.32), type 2 diabetes(T2 DM)(3.57, 2.32–5.49),cardiovascular disease(CVD)(3.78, 1.81–7.89), fatty liver disease(7.53, 1.96–28.96), hyperlipidemia(2.15, 1.26–3.67), other lung diseases(6.00, 3.01–11.96), and electrolyte imbalance(10.40, 3.00–26.10)were independently linked to increased odds of being severely ill. T2 DM(6.07, 2.89–12.75), CVD(8.47,6.03–11.89), and electrolyte imbalance(19.44, 11.47–32.96) were also strong predictors of unfavorable outcomes. Women with comorbidities were more likely to have severe disease on admission(5.46,3.25–9.19), while men with comorbidities were more likely to have unfavorable treatment outcomes(6.58, 1.46–29.64) within two weeks.Conclusion Besides hypertension, diabetes, and CVD, fatty liver disease, hyperlipidemia, other lung diseases, and electrolyte imbalance were independent risk factors for COVID-19 severity and poor treatment outcome. 7Novel cationic polyamidine:Synthesis,characterization,and sludge dewatering performance显示文摘In this study,a new and facile route was employed for synthesis of polyamidine with abundant cations and attractive five-membered ringlike structural unit.N-vinylformamide and acrylonitrile copolymerized firstly to form intermediates,and the intermediates were processed with hydrochloric acid to produce polyamidine.A series of polymerization conditions(e.g.polymerization time,temperature and dosage of initiator) were optimized through productivity,viscosity and cationic degree as evaluation.SEM analysis illustrated that the amidinization process could reduce the size of spaces between molecular and created compact structure,which would contribute to good flocculation performance and high viscosity.FT-IR,XPS and NMR spectra presented a rather clear structure of polyamidine.34.3%of sludge was sedimentated through the flocculation of polyamidine in the early stages.In contrast,only 6.8%of sludge was sedimentated by polyacrylamide.The moisture content in dehydrated floc could be reduced to 77.7%when 60 mg/L polyamidine was added.These results demonstrated that the polyamidine showed a great potential in the practical application of sludge dewatering.Bo Guo Huan Yu Baoyu Gao Sen Zhang Qinyan Yue Xing Xu 2017Journal of Environmental Sciences2017,29,1:7
8Heat shock protein 90 promotes RNA helicase DDX5 accumulation and exacerbates hepatocellular carcinoma by inhibiting autophagy显示文摘Objective:Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC),the main type of liver cancer,has a high morbidity and mortality,and a poor prognosis.RNA helicase DDX5,which acts as a transcriptional co-regulator,is overexpressed in most malignant tumors and promotes cancer cell growth.Heat shock protein 90(HSP90)is an important molecular chaperone in the conformational maturation and stabilization of numerous proteins involved in cell growth or survival.Methods:DDX5 m RNA and protein expression in surgically resected HCC tissues from 24 Asian patients were detected by quantitative real-time PCR and Western blot,respectively.The interaction of DDX5-HSP90 was determined by molecular docking,immunoprecipitation,and laser scanning confocal microscopy.The autophagy signal was detected by Western blot.The cell functions and signaling pathways of DDX5 were determined in 2 HCC cell lines.Two different murine HCC xenograft models were used to determine the function of DDX5 and the therapeutic effect of an HSP90 inhibitor.Results:HSP90 interacted directly with DDX5 and inhibited DDX5 protein degradation in the AMPK/ULK1-regulated autophagy pathway.The subsequent accumulation of DDX5 protein induced the malignant phenotype of HCC by activating theβ-catenin signaling pathway.The silencing of DDX5 or treatment with HSP90 inhibitor both blocked in vivo tumor growth in a murine HCC xenograft model.High levels of HSP90 and DDX5 protein were associated with poor prognoses.Conclusions:HSP90 interacted with DDX5 protein and subsequently protected DDX5 protein from AMPK/ULK1-regulated autophagic degradation.DDX5 and HSP90 are therefore potential therapeutic targets for HCC.Ting Zhang Xinrui Yang Wanping Xu Jing Wang Dawei Wu Zhixian Hong Shengxian Yuan Zhen Zeng Xiaodong Jia Shanshan Lu Rifaat Safadi Sen Han Zhihong Yang Leonard M.Neckers Suthat Liangpunsakul Weiping Zhou Yinying Lu 2021Cancer Biology & Medicine2021,18,3:7
9Dual-lens beam compression for optical coupling in superconducting nanowire single-photon detectors显示文摘The optical coupling of superconducting nanowire single-photon detectors(SNSPDs) has always been restricted to a single-mode fiber for a limited detection area. In this study, for enhancing photon coupling, a dual-lens system operating at 2.2 K was used to compress the beam size on the basis of the Gaussian beam theory and geometric approximation. A magnification of approximately 0.3 was obtained, and a focused spot with diameter of approximately 10 lm was measured from a multimode fiber. Assisted with the compressed beam, a system efficiency of 55 %(1550 nm) was achieved for a SNSPD with a detection area of 10 lm 9 10 lm and 62.5 lm multimode fiber coupling. At the same time, a high speed of106 MHz was measured with the proposed system. 11Co-regulation of indole glucosinolates and camalexin biosynthesis by CPK5/CPK6 and MPK3/MPK6 signaling pathways^°°显示文摘Secondary plant metabolites,represented by indole glucosinolates(IGS)and camalexin,play important roles in Arabidopsis immunity.Previously,we demonstrated the importance of MPK3 and MPK6,two closely related MAPKs,in regulating Botrytis cinerea(Bc)-induced IGS and camalexin biosynthesis.Here we report that CPK5 and CPK6,two redundant calcium-dependent protein kinases(CPKs),are also involved in regulating the biosynthesis of these secondary metabolites.The loss-of-function of both CPK5 and CPK6 compromises plant resistance to Be.Expression profiling of CPK5-VK transgenic plants,in which a truncated constitutively active CPK5 is driven by a steroidinducible promoter,revealed that biosynthetic genes of both IGS and camalexin pathways are coordinately upregulated after the induction of CPK5-VK,leading to high-level accumulation of camalexin and 4-methoxyindole-3-ylmethylglucosinolate(4MI3G).Induction of camalexin and 4MI3G,as well as the genes in their biosynthesis pathways,is greatly compromised in cpks cpk6 mutant in response to Be.In a conditional cpk5 cpk6 mpk3 mpk6 quadruple mutant,Be resistance and induction of IGS and camalexin are further reduced in comparison to either cpks cpk6 or conditional mpk3 mpk6 double mutant,suggesting that both CPK5/CPK6 and MPK3/MPK6 signaling pathways contribute to promote the biosynthesis of 4MI3G and camalexin in defense against Be.Liuyi Vang Yan Zhang Rongxia Guan Sen Li Xuwen Xu Shuqun Zhang Juan Xu 2020Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2020,62,11:6
12Hazard evaluation of ignition sensitivity and explosion severity for three typical MH_(2) (M=Mg,Ti,Zr)of energetic materials显示文摘MgH_(2),TiH_(2),and ZrH_(2) are three typical metal hydrides that have been gradually applied to composite explosives and propellants as additives in recent years.To evaluate ignition sensitivity and explosion severity,the Hartmann device and spherical pressure vessel were used to test ignition energy and explosion pressure,respectively.The results showed that the ignition sensitivity of ZrH_(2),TiH_(2) and MgH_(2) gradually increased.When the concentration of MgH_(2) is 83.0 g/m^(3) in Hartmann device,the ignition energy attained a minimum of 10.0 mJ.The explosion pressure of MgH_(2) were 1.44 times and 1.76 times that of TiH_(2) and ZrH_(2),respectively,and the explosion pressure rising rate were 3.97 times and 9.96 times that of TiH_(2) and ZrH_(2),respectively,through the spherical pressure vessel.It indicated that the reaction reactivity and reaction rate of MgH_(2) were higher than that of TiH_(2) and ZrH_(2).In addition,to conduct in edepth theoretical analysis of ignition sensitivity and explosion severity,gas production and combustion heat per unit mass of ZrH_(2),TiH_(2) and MgH_(2) were tested by mercury manometer and oxygen bomb calorimetry.The experimental results revealed that MgH_(2) had a relatively high gas production per unit mass(5.15 mL/g),while TiH_(2) and ZrH_(2) both had a gas production of less than 2.0 mL/g.Their thermal stability gradually increased,leading to a gradual increase in ignition energy.Furthermore,compared with theoretical combustion heat,the combustion ratio of MgH_(2),TiH_(2) and ZrH_(2) was more than 96.0%,with combustion heat value of 29.96,20.94 and 12.22 MJ/kg,respectively,which was consistent with the explosion pressure and explosion severity test results.Xing-liang Wu Sen Xu Ai-min Pang Wei-guo Cao Da-bin Liu Xin-yu Zhu Fei-yang Xu Xu Wang 2021Defence Technology(防务技术)2021,17,4:6

15Formation of Poly(ε-caprolactone) Networks via Supramolecular Hydrogen Bonding Interactions显示文摘In this contribution, we reported a novel approach to crosslink poly(ε-caprolactone)(PCL) via supramolecular hydrogen bonding interactions. First, a series of octa-armed poly(ε-caprolactone) stars with polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane(POSS) cores were synthesized via the ring-opening polymerizations. Thereafter, the arm ends of organic-inorganic star-shaped PCLs were reacted with 2-(6-isocyanatohexylaminocarbonylamino)-6-methyl-4[1 H]-pyrimidinone to obtain 2-ureido-4[1 H]-pyrimidone(UPy)-terminated PCL stars.Notably, the UPy-terminated PCL stars were physically crosslinked, which was evidenced by means of dynamic mechanical thermal analysis(DMTA) and rheological analysis. 16A novel approach for designing efficient broadband photodetectors expanding from deep ultraviolet to near infrared显示文摘Broadband photodetection(PD)covering the deep ultraviolet to near-infrared(200–1000 nm)range is significant and desirable for various optoelectronic designs.Herein,we employ ultraviolet(UV)luminescent concentrators(LC),iodinebased perovskite quantum dots(PQDs),and organic bulk heterojunction(BHJ)as the UV,visible,and near-infrared(NIR)photosensitive layers,respectively,to construct a broadband heterojunction PD.Firstly,experimental and theoretical results reveal that optoelectronic properties and stability of CsPbI3 PQDs are significantly improved through Er3+doping,owing to the reduced defect density,improved charge mobility,increased formation energy,tolerance factor,etc.The narrow bandgap of CsPbI3:Er3+PQDs serves as a visible photosensitive layer of PD.Secondly,considering the matchable energy bandgap,the BHJ(BTP-4Cl:PBDB-TF)is selected as to NIR absorption layer to fabricate the hybrid structure with CsPbI3:Er3+PQDs.Thirdly,UV LC converts the UV light(200–400 nm)to visible light(400–700 nm),which is further absorbed by CsPbI3:Er3+PQDs.In contrast with other perovskites PDs and commercial Si PDs,our PD presents a relatively wide response range and high detectivity especially in UV and NIR regions(two orders of magnitude increase that of commercial Si PDs).Furthermore,the PD also demonstrates significantly enhanced air-and UV-stability,and the photocurrent of the device maintains 81.5%of the original one after 5000 cycles.This work highlights a new attempt for designing broadband PDs,which has application potential in optoelectronic devices.Nan Ding Yanjie Wu Wen Xu Jiekai Lyu Yue Wang Lu Zi Long Shao Rui Sun Nan Wang Sen Liu Donglei Zhou Xue Bai Ji Zhou Hongwei Song 2022Light(Science & Applications)2022,11,5:5
17Hyperthermia inhibits hypoxia-induced epithelial-mesenchymal transition in HepG2 hepatocellular carcinoma cells显示文摘AIM:To investigate the effect of hyperthermia on hy-poxia-induced epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) in HepG2 hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) cells, and its mechanism. METHODS:Cells were treated with hyperthermia at 43 ℃ for 0.5 h, followed by incubation under hypoxic or normoxic conditions for 72 h. Cell morphology was observed. Expressions of E-cadherin and vimentin were determined by immunofluorescence assay or Western blot. The protein and mRNA expressions of Snail were also determined by Western blot and reverse transcrip-tion-polymerase chain reaction. Cell migratory capacity was evaluated. RESULTS:Hypoxia induced EMT in HepG2 cells, which was evidenced by morphological, molecular and func-tional changes, including the formation of a spindle shape and the loss of cell contact. The expression of E-cadherin was decreased but the expression of vimentin was increased; also, the migratory capability was increased by 2.2 ± 0.20-fold as compared with normoxia. However, those effects were inhibited by hyperthermia pretreatment. Furthermore, protein synthesis and mRNA expression of Snail in the cells were enhanced by hy-poxia as compared with normoxia, and also significantly inhibited by hyperthermia pretreatment. 18Clinical significance of nerve growth factor and tropomyosin-receptor-kinase signaling pathway in intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma显示文摘AIM:To investigate the correlation between nerve growth factor-tropomyosin-receptor-kinase(NGF-TrkA)signaling pathway and prognosis in intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma(IHCC).METHODS:NGF and TrkA expression in 83 samples of IHCC was assessed by immunohistochemistry.Correlations between NGF-TrkA expression and clinicopathological features were analyzed byχ2 test.Moreover,we evaluated the association between NGF-TrkA and overall survival by univariate and multivariate analysis.With experiments in vitro,we investigated the crucial role of NGF-TrkA on proliferation and invasion of IHCC cells with recombinant NGF-βstimulation.RESULTS:We found that NGF and TrkA expression was significantly related with differentiation(P=0.024)and intraneural invasion(P=0.003),respectively.Additionally,double higher expression of NGF and TrkA was identified as an independent prognostic factor in IHCC(P=0.003).Moreover,we demonstrated that NGF-TrkA signaling pathway can promote IHCC proliferation and invasion.CONCLUSION:NGF-TrkA double higher expression is an independent prognostic factor in IHCC.NGF-TrkA pathway can promote IHCC progression,indicating that NGF-TrkA may become a potential drug target.Xiao-Qing Yang Yun-Fei Xu Sen Guo Yi Liu Shang-Lei Ning Xiao-Fei Lu Hui Yang Yu-Xin Chen 2014World Journal of Gastroenterology2014,20,14:4

20The Erosion Effect of Kapton Film in a Ground-based Atomic Oxygen Irradiation Simulator显示文摘In order to investigate the effect of space environmental factors on spacecraft materials, a ground-based simulation facility for space atomic oxygen(AO) irradiation was developed in our laboratory. Some Kapton film samples were subjected to AO beam generated by this facility. The Kapton films before and after AO exposure were analyzed comparatively using optical microscopy, scanning electronic microscopy, atomic force microscopy, high-precision microbalance, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. The experimental results indicate that the transmittance of Kapton film will be reduced by AO irradiation notably, and its color deepens from pale yellow to brown. Surface roughness of the AO-treated sample is already increased obviously after AO irradiation for 5 hours, and exhibits a flannel-like appearance after 15 hours' exposure in AO beam. The imide rings and benzene rings in kapton molecule are partially decomposed, and some new bonds form during AO irradiation. The mass loss of kapton film increases linearly with the increase of AO fluence, which is resulted from the formation of volatile products, such as CO, CO2 and NOx. The breakage in structure and degradation in properties of AO-treated Kapton film can be attributed to the integrated effect ofimpaction and oxidization of AO beam.
