| 2 | Immune response to an indigenously developed r-Hepatitis B vaccine in mixed population: Study of an accelerated vaccination schedule显示文摘AIM: To establish the safety and efficacy of an indigenously developed r-hepatitis B vaccine using an accelerated schedule and to highlight the social awareness and commitment in preventing the spreading of hepatitis B virus infection.METHODS: The study was a multicentric, double blind,randomized (3:1) study using three doses of vaccine immunization schedule (20 μg for those above 10 years old and 10 μg for those below 10 years old) on d 0, 30and 60. One hundred and sixty-six subjects were enrolled(87 males and 76 females aged 5-35 years). The main outcome measure was assessment of immunogenicity and safety.RESULTS: A 100% seroconversion response was observed on the 30th d after the 1st injection in both the experimental groups. The sero-protection data reported a 41.2-65.6% response on the 30th d after the 1st injection and reached 100% on the 60th d. Descriptive statical analysis showed a geometric mean titer value of 13.77 mIU/mL in the test (BEVAC) group and 10.95 mIU/mL in the commercial control (ENGERIX-B) group on the 30th d after the 1st injection. The response on the 60th d showed a geometric mean titre value (GMT) of 519.84 mIU/mL in the BEVAC group and 475.46 mIU/mL in the ENGERIX-B group. On the 90th d, the antibody titer response was observed to be 2627.58 mIU/mL in the BEVAC group and 2272.72 mIU/mL in the ENGERIX-B group. Two subjects in each group experienced pains at injection site after the first vaccination. A total of six subjects in both groups experienced a solicited adverse reaction, which included pains, swelling and redness at the injection site, three subjects in the group-B had a pain at the injection site after the third dose. | 3 | 糜子芽苗期对干旱胁迫的响应及抗旱种质鉴定显示文摘为了了解内蒙古现存糜子种质资源的抗旱性,研究糜子在PEG-6000模拟干旱胁迫下的抗旱表现,挖掘优异抗旱种质并筛选抗旱鉴定指标,以33份来源于内蒙古的糜子核心种质资源为试验对象,在PEG-6000模拟干旱胁迫下,利用相关性分析、主成分分析、平均值-标准差逐级分级法和聚类分析等方法评估了材料芽期、苗期的抗旱性。结果表明,干旱胁迫下,芽期和苗期各指标较对照组均有下降趋势,糜子芽期比苗期更易受干旱胁迫,发芽势对干旱胁迫反应最敏感,变异系数为380.4%,苗期各指标变异系数均在13.2%~67.4%。糜子多数抗性指标间呈显著或极显著相关,其中相对苗长与相对苗鲜质量之间的相关性最大,相对根长与相对根干质量的相关性最小。对33份核心种质进行了芽苗期抗旱性鉴定和分类分析,结果鉴定出乌克兰黍(00006438)和伊盟良56-2黍(00000684)芽期抗旱性最强;准旗酱黄黍(00000650)、和林红糜子(00002160)、乌克兰黍(00006438)、8311/4/5(00005884)、伊选大红黍(00002473)和达旗青糜子(00002385)等6份种质苗期抗旱性好,乌克兰黍(00006438)芽期和苗期抗旱性能均突出。 | 程冀南 李玉露 王宇卓 Santra Dipak K 王瑞云 | 2022 | 山西农业科学2022,50,7: | 6 |

| 5 | Spatial Modeling Using High Resolution Image for Future Shoreline Prediction Along Junput Coast, West Bengal, India显示文摘National policies and legal decisions are very much dependent on the position of the shoreline. Shoreline change rates are frequently employed to summarize historical shoreline movements. This also helps to predict the future position of the shoreline based on the perceived historical trends. In this regard, the future shoreline positions at both the long-term, that is 2050, and short-term, that is 2015, time interval was predicted using the End Point Rate (EPR) model along the Junput Coast of West Bengal, India. The whole project work was divided into five parts. The first part showed the detection of shoreline from satellite data like IRS LISS Ⅳ and Landsat 7 ETM+ and from the Survey of India Toposheet. The second part gave the glimpse of the dynamic segmentation of the shoreline to get the dynamically segmented nodal points along the shoreline. Shoreline prediction for the years 2015 and 2050 using End Point Rate (EPR) model was done in the third part. In the fourth part, Coastal Terrain Model (CTM) was prepared, and the digital shoreline estimated. The model result was validated and accuracy assessed with respect to the GPS data collected from the field at the fifth stage. | 9 | Silica-quaternary ammonium “Fixed-Quat” nanofilm coated fiberglass mesh for water disinfection and harmful algal blooms control显示文摘Intensification of pollution loading worldwide has promoted an escalation of different types of disease-causing microorganisms, such as harmful algal blooms(HABs), instigating detrimental impacts on the quality of receiving surface waters. Formation of unwanted disinfection by-products(DBPs) resulting from conventional disinfection technologies reveals the need for the development of new sustainable alternatives. Quaternary Ammonium Compounds(QACs) are cationic surfactants widely known for their effective biocidal properties at the ppm level. In this study, a novel silica-based antimicrobial nanofilm was developed using a composite of silica-modified QAC(Fixed-Quat) and applied to a fiberglass mesh as an active surface via sol–gel technique. The synthesized Fixed-Quat nanocoating was found to be effective against E. coli with an inactivation rate of 1.3 × 10^(-3) log reduction/cm min. The Fixed-Quat coated fiberglass mesh also demonstrated successful control of Microcystis aeruginosa with more than 99% inactivation after 10 hr of exposure.The developed antimicrobial mesh was also evaluated with wild-type microalgal species collected in a water body experiencing HABs, obtaining a 97% removal efficiency.
