1Object-based classification of hyperspectral data using Random Forest algorithm显示文摘This paper presents a new framework for object-based classification of high-resolution hyperspectral data.This multi-step framework is based on multi-resolution segmentation(MRS)and Random Forest classifier(RFC)algorithms.The first step is to determine of weights of the input features while using the object-based approach with MRS to processing such images.Given the high number of input features,an automatic method is needed for estimation of this parameter.Moreover,we used the Variable Importance(VI),one of the outputs of the RFC,to determine the importance of each image band.Then,based on this parameter and other required parameters,the image is segmented into some homogenous regions.Finally,the RFC is carried out based on the characteristics of segments for converting them into meaningful objects.The proposed method,as well as,the conventional pixel-based RFC and Support Vector Machine(SVM)method was applied to three different hyperspectral data-sets with various spectral and spatial characteristics.These data were acquired by the HyMap,the Airborne Prism Experiment(APEX),and the Compact Airborne Spectrographic Imager(CASI)hyperspectral sensors.The experimental results show that the proposed method is more consistent for land cover mapping in various areas.The overall classification accuracy(OA),obtained by the proposed method was 95.48,86.57,and 84.29%for the HyMap,the APEX,and the CASI datasets,respectively.Moreover,this method showed better efficiency in comparison to the spectralbased classifications because the OAs of the proposed method was 5.67 and 3.75%higher than the conventional RFC and SVM classifiers,respectively.Saeid Amini Saeid Homayouni Abdolreza Safari Ali A.Darvishsefat 2018Geo-Spatial Information Science2018,21,2:1
2The Effect of Saddle-Assistive Device on Improving the Gait Parameters of Patients with the Lower Limbs Weakness:A Pilot Study显示文摘To help walking,using assistive devices can be considered to reduce the loads caused by weight and to effectively decrease the propulsive forces.In this study,a mobility Saddle-Assistive Device(S-AD)supporting body weight while walking was evaluated on two healthy volunteers.This device is based on the support of body weight against gravity with the help of a saddle,which is not used in other passive mobility assistive devices.To prove the efficiency of this device,the experimental results obtained while walking with this device were compared with those related to walking without the assistive device.The results showed that this device could significantly reduce the forces and torque of the lower and upper limbs when walking.By distributing the load on the saddle,the vertical force and the propulsive force in the best conditions were decreased to 46.7%and were increased to 13.7%in body weight,respectively.Using a S-AD can help patients with lower limbs weakness and elderly people to walk.Akbar Hojjati Najafabadi Saeid Amini Farzam Farahmand 2020Journal of Bionic Engineering2020,17,6:0
3Physical modeling into outflow hydrographs and breach characteristics of homogeneous earthfill dams failure due to overtopping显示文摘The main objective of the present study is to introduce new empirical equations for the determination of breach geometrical dimensions and peak outflow discharge(Q_(p)).Therefore,a historic failure database of 109 embankments was collected and examined.The most important factors that affect the breach evolution,including grading size,hydraulic,and outflow characteristics are also studied.Some of the parameters used for the determination of Q_(p) and average breach width(Bave)have a significant effect on the erosion process,but they are less reflected in the technical literature.To study the behavior of noncohesive soils during overtopping,15 physical tests were performed at the laboratory,and the effects of interfering parameters were investigated.The experimental output hydrograph was used to simulate the hydrographs resulting from the failure of real dams,and recent artificial intelligence techniques along with linear and nonlinear regression models were employed.The area-time analysis of the laboratory hydrographs shows that the soil particle size and the characteristics of reservoir-basin significantly affect the rate of breach formation and outflow discharge.New relationships are introduced,based on the breach characteristics,by a combination of historical and experimental data,as well as case studies conducted on the hypothetical failure of 10 operational dams.The mathematical model is also used to simulate the process of breach evaluation.Based on statistical indices,comparison of the results,and sensitivity analysis,the developed equations can better express the susceptibility of materials to erosion and their application can minimize downstream vulnerabilities.KOUZEHGAR Kamran HASSANZADEH Yousef ESLAMIAN Saeid YOUSEFZADEH FARD Mikaeil BABAEIAN AMINI Alireza 2021Journal of Mountain Science2021,18,2:0
4Survey of epidemiology and bacteriology features of cholera in Iran显示文摘Objective:To determine epidemiology and antimicrobial susceptibility patterns of Vibrio(V.) cholerae O1 biotype EL Tor in summer outbreak of 2008 in Iran.Methods:Stool samples were collected from patients suspected to have cholera admitted to hospitals and clinics.Specimens examined by conventional bacteriological methods.All isolates were sent to cholera reference laboratory for further confirmation,stereotyping and susceptibility testing.Results:A total of 220 patients were diagnosed as cholera.All cases confirmed by Iranian reference health laboratory.One hundred ninety nine of 220 V.cholerae serotypes were Inaba and 21 serotypes were Ogawa.All cases were reported from thirteen provinces.The majorities of cases were from Tehran,Qum and Zahedan provinces with 56,26 and 25 cases respectively.24(11%) of patients were under 15 years old and 196(89%) of patients were older than 15 years.149(68%) of patients were male and 71(32 %) were female.129(59%) of patients had Iranian nationality,79(36.5%) were from Afghanistan and,12(5%) were from Pakistan.All isolates were resistant to co-trimoxazole,nalidixic acid,furazolidone,and intermediate to chloramphenicol and were susceptible to tetracycline, ciprofloxacin,and erythromycin.Conclusion:Our study reveals that in recent outbreak caused by V.cholerae EL Tor serotype Inaba is the predominant serotype.All isolates are resistant to cotrimoxazole. nalidix acid and furazolidon.Mohammad Rahbar Mohsen Zahraei Aboulgasm Omidvarnia Mohammad Taqi Afshani Mostafa Glami Rogaeieh Sabourian Shahla Farsi Hosein gholami Saeid Mahdavi Parisa Islami Mona Mohammad Zadeh Massoud Hajia Azar Valipour Rana Amini 2010Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Medicine2010,3,1:0
