1Osteoarthritis:pathogenic signaling pathways and therapeutic targets显示文摘Osteoarthritis(OA)is a chronic degenerative joint disorder that leads to disability and affects more than 500 million population worldwide.OA was believed to be caused by the wearing and tearing of articular cartilage,but it is now more commonly referred to as a chronic whole-joint disorder that is initiated with biochemical and cellular alterations in the synovial joint tissues,which leads to the histological and structural changes of the joint and ends up with the whole tissue dysfunction.Currently,there is no cure for OA,partly due to a lack of comprehensive understanding of the pathological mechanism of the initiation and progression of the disease.Therefore,a better understanding of pathological signaling pathways and key molecules involved in OA pathogenesis is crucial for therapeutic target design and drug development.In this review,we first summarize the epidemiology of OA,including its prevalence,incidence and burdens,and OA risk factors.We then focus on the roles and regulation of the pathological signaling pathways,such as Wnt/β-catenin,NF-κB,focal adhesion,HIFs,TGFβ/ΒΜP and FGF signaling pathways,and key regulators AMPK,mTOR,and RUNX2 in the onset and development of OA.In addition,the roles of factors associated with OA,including MMPs,ADAMTS/ADAMs,and PRG4,are discussed in detail.Finally,we provide updates on the current clinical therapies and clinical trials of biological treatments and drugs for OA.Research advances in basic knowledge of articular cartilage biology and OA pathogenesis will have a significant impact and translational value in developing OA therapeutic strategies.Qing Yao Xiaohao Wu Chu Tao Weiyuan Gong Mingjue Chen Minghao Qu Yiming Zhong Tailin He Sheng Chen Guozhi Xiao 2023Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2023,8,3:11

3A Joint Learning Framework for the CCKS-2020 Financial Event Extraction Task显示文摘This paper presents a winning solution for the CCKS-2020 financial event extraction task, where the goal is to identify event types, triggers and arguments in sentences across multiple event types. In this task, we focus on resolving two challenging problems(i.e., low resources and element overlapping) by proposing a joint learning framework, named SaltyFishes. We first formulate the event extraction task as a joint probability model. By sharing parameters in the model across different types, we can learn to adapt to low-resource events based on high-resource events. We further address the element overlapping problems by a mechanism of Conditional Layer Normalization, achieving even better extraction accuracy. 4Highly Efficient Synthesis of Environmentally Friendly Ag-modified TiO2 Nanoflowers to Enhance Photocatalytic Performance显示文摘Ag-modified TiO2 nanoflowers were prepared using a two-step process. The experimental process is green and free from contamination and can be synthesized directly at room temperature. Compared with pure TiO2, Ag-modified TiO2 enhances the absorption of visible light and effectively promotes the detachment of photoelectron pairs, Ag-TiO2 has a significantly enhanced visible light response activity to photodecomposition of methyl orange(MO). It is shown that the strong interaction between Ag nanoparticles and TiO2 enhances the photocatalytic activity of TiO2 nanoflowers. The self-made open-air reactor was used to test the photocatalytic performance of different samples. The results showed that Ag-modified TiO2 nanoflowers had excellent photodegradation ability. 5Method of GIL partial discharge localization based on natural neighbour interpolation and ECOC‐MLP‐SVM using optical simulation technology显示文摘Partial discharge(PD)is one of the main causes rendering the deterioration of the insulation state in gas‐insulated transmission line(GIL).Accurate and timely localization of the PD source is essential to ensure the safe and stable operation of the GIL.At present,optical PD detection technology shows advantages in terms of high sensitivity and strong anti‐inter-ference performance.Therefore,an optical PD localization method based on optical simulation fingerprint database is proposed.The introduction of simulation conquers the difficulty of obtaining a PD fingerprint database in field experiments.This method con-structs a simulation fingerprint database by performing PD simulation in a GIL simulation model of the same size as the actual GIL.The natural neighbour interpolation algorithm is applied to expand the simulation fingerprint database to cover all locations in the GIL.The two‐level localization method proposed is to match the PD fingerprint to be tested with the expanded fingerprint database,which can reduce the amount of calculation while main-taining the localization accuracy.The experimental results show that the average localiza-tion error of this method is only 9.7 mm,and the localization time is reduced by about 11 times compared with the normal one‐level localization method.Yiming Zang Yong Qian Hui Wang Antian Xu Gehao Sheng Xiuchen Jiang 2021High Voltage2021,6,3:1

7Nondestructive Phenomic Tools for the Prediction of Heat and Drought Tolerance at Anthesis in Brassica Species显示文摘Oilseed Brassica species are vulnerable to heat and drought stress,especially in the early reproductive stage.We evaluated plant imaging of whole plant and flower tissue,leaf stomatal conductance,leaf and bud temperature,photochemical reflectance index,quantumyield of photosynthesis,and leaf gas exchange for their suitability to detect tolerance to heat(H)and/or drought(D)stress treatments in 12 Brassica genotypes(G).A replicated factorial experiment was set up with 7 d of stress treatment fromthe beginning of anthesis with various levels of three factors H,D,and��.Most phenomics tools detected plant stress as indicated by significant main effects of H,D,and H×D.Whole plant volume was highly correlated with fresh weight changes,suggesting that whole plant imaging may be a useful surrogate for fresh weight in future studies.Vcmax,the maximum carboxylation rate of photosynthesis,increased rapidly on day 1 in H and H+D treatments,and there were significant interactions of G×H and G×D.Vcmax of genotypes on day 1 inHandH+Dtreatments was positively correlated with their harvested seed yield.Vcmax onday 1 andday3were clustered with seed yield in H and H+D treatments as shown in the heatmaps of genotypic correlations.TPU,the rate of triose phosphate use,also showed significant positive genotypic correlations with seed yield in H+D treatments.Flower volume showed significant interactions of G×H and G×D on day 7,and flower volume of genotypes on day 7 inHwas positively correlated with their harvested seed yield.There were few interactions of G×H or G×D for leaf stomatal conductance,leaf and bud temperature,photochemical reflectance index,and quantum yield of photosynthesis.Vcmax,TPU,and volume of flowers are potential nondestructive phenomic traits for heat or combined heat and drought stress tolerance screening in Brassica germplasm.Sheng Chen Yiming Guo Xavier Sirault Katia Stefanova Renu Saradadevi Neil CTurner Matthew NNelson Robert TFurbank Kadambot HMSiddique Wallace ACowling 2019Plant Phenomics2019,1,1:0

9Bcl-3 promotes Wnt signaling by maintaining the acetylation ofβ-catenin at lysine 49 in colorectal cancer显示文摘Wnt/β-catenin signaling plays a critical role in colorectal cancer(CRC)tumorigenesis and the homeostasis of colorectal cancer stem cells(CSCs),but its molecular mechanism remains unclear.B-cell lymphoma 3(Bcl-3),a member of the IκB family,is overexpressed in CRC and promotes tumorigenicity.Here,we report a novel function of Bcl-3 in maintaining colorectal CSC homeostasis by activating Wnt/β-catenin signaling.Silencing Bcl-3 suppresses the self-renewal capacity of colorectal CSCs and sensitizes CRC cells to chemotherapeutic drugs through a decrease in Wnt/β-catenin signaling.Moreover,our data show that Bcl-3 is a crucial component of Wnt/β-catenin signaling and is essential forβ-catenin transcriptional activity in CRC cells.Interestingly,Wnt3a increases the level and nuclear translocation of Bcl-3,which binds directly toβ-catenin and enhances the acetylation ofβ-catenin at lysine 49(Ac-K49-β-catenin)and transcriptional activity.Bcl-3 depletion decreases the Ac-K49-β-catenin level by increasing the level of histone deacetylase 1 to remove acetyl groups fromβ-catenin,thus interrupting Wnt/β-catenin activity.In CRC clinical specimens,Bcl-3 expression negatively correlates with the overall survival of CRC patients.A significantly positive correlation was found between the expression of Bcl-3 and Ac-K49-β-catenin.Collectively,our data reveal that Bcl-3 plays a crucial role in CRC chemoresistance and colorectal CSC maintenance via its modulation of the Ac-K49-β-catenin,which serves as a promising therapeutic target for CRC.Xi Chen Chen Wang Yuhang Jiang Qi Wang Yu Tao Haohao Zhang Yongxu Zhao Yiming Hu Cuifeng Li Deji Ye Dandan Liu Wenxia Jiang Eugene Y.Chin Sheng Chen Yongzhong Liu Mingliang Wang Sanhong Liu Xiaoren Zhang 2020Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2020,5,1:0
10Low-cost preferential different amine grafted silica spheres adsorbents for DAC CO_(2)removal显示文摘DAC CO_(2)capture is gaining wide attention as one of the most difficult carbon approaches to tackle climate change.In this work,different pore-size silica spheres were grafted using different amine groups such as APTES,APTMS,and Diamine.Herein,all samples based on the wet and dry grafting method were used for CO_(2)adsorption isotherm at room temperature and pressure(298 K and 1 bar).The sample based on the wet grafting(Silica-APTES-W)sample shows the highest CO_(2)uptake 1.67 mmol/g.Also,the adsorption isotherm of the Silica-APTES-W sample was showed a high capacity of CO_(2)1.2 mmol/g at 25℃,which describes the strong physical interaction between CO_(2)and amine.The isosteric adsorption of Silica-APTES-W also confirmed that the physical adsorption was dominant because of low adsorption heat ranging from 23 to 37 k J/mol.Also,the fixed bed experiment was conducted with 2000 ppm CO_(2)that obtains the optimal working capacity 4.5 m L/g with the lowest regeneration temperature 90℃.It was shown that Silica-APTES-W sample was superior performance for DAC CO_(2)capture in practical applications.Salman Qadir Hongjiu Su Defu Li Yiming Gu Shengsheng Zhao Sheng Wang Shudong Wang 2022Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,,12:0

12THE ANALYSIS OF INTERLAMINAR STRESSES FOR COMPOSITE LAMINATED SHALLOW SHELLS WITH INTERFACIAL DAMAGE显示文摘Based on the general six-degrees-of-freedom plate theory towards the accurate stress analysis and nonlinear theory of shallow shells, considering the damage effect of the interlaminar interface and using the variation principle, the three-dimensional non-linear equilibrium differential equations of the laminated shallow shells with interfacial damage are derived. Then, considering a simply supported laminated shallow shell with damage and under normal load, an analytical solution is presented by using finite difference method to obtain the interlaminar stresses. Numerical results show, the stiffness of the shell is weakened, greater absolute values of displacements as well as smaller interlaminar stresses are obtained by interfacial damage. When the interfacial damage is further increased, delamination occurs obviously under normal pulling load and pure shear slip occurs under normal pressure load. The portion of the load undertaken by the two sides of the interface is more different.
