Heavy metal pollution in intertidal sediments from Quanzhou Bay, China显示文摘The concentrations of eight heavy metals (Cu, Zn, Pb, Cd, Cr, Ni, Hg, and As) in the intertidal surface sediments from Quanzhou Bay were determined to evaluate their levels and spatial distribution due to urbanization and economic development of Quanzhou region, southeast China. The ranges of the measured concentrations in the sediments are as follows: 24.8–119.7 mg/kg for Cu, 105.5–241.9 mg/kg for Zn, 34.3–100.9 mg/kg for Pb, 0.28–0.89 mg/kg for Cd, 51.1–121.7 mg/kg for Cr, 16.1–45.7 mg/kg for Ni, 0.17–0.74 mg/kg for Hg, and 17.7–30.2 mg/kg for As. The overall average concentrations of above metals exceed the primary standard criteria but meet the secondary standard criteria of the Chinese National Standard of Marine Sediment Quality. Several contents of Cu and Hg exceed the secondary standard criteria at some stations. The results of geoaccumulation index (Igeo) show that Cd causes strong pollution in most of the study area. There are no significant correlations among most of these heavy metals, indicating they have different anthropogenic and natural sources. Some locations present severe pollution by heavy metals depending on the sources, of which sewage outlets, aquatic breeding, and commercial ports are the main sources of contaminants to the area. | YU Ruilian YUAN Xing ZHAO Yuanhui HU Gongren TU Xianglin | 2008 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2008,20,6: | 73

REE geochemistry of the Zhoutan Group metasedimentary rocks in central Jiangxi Province,Southeast China显示文摘Detailed REE and trace elements geochemical studies of the Zhoutan Group metasedimentary rocks in central Jiangxi Province, China, and rock-forming minerals such as garnet were conducted and the results showed that the REEs are partly present in the rock-forming minerals and are dominantly contained in the lattice of accessory minerals. In the process of metamorphism the REEs between garnet porphyroblast and rock and the partitioning of REEs between garnet and the host rock is obviously controlled by the chemical composition of the system. The REEs compositions of metamorphic veins and their minerals display remarked lanthanide tetrad effects and the element pairs Zr-Hf, Y-Ho, Pb-Nd and U-Th have also experienced a certain degree of fractionation with respect to the metasedimentary rocks and they can be used as discriminating indicators to some extent for the occurrence of fluid processes in the process of metamorphism of the Zhoutan Group. | HU Gongren LIU Congqiang YU Ruilian | 2009 | Chinese Journal Of Geochemistry2009,28,2: | 3

Bioavailability of heavy metals in soil of the Tieguanyin tea garden, southeastern China显示文摘The bioavailability of 22 heavy metals was investigated at 19 sampling sites in Tieguanyin tea garden in Anxi County,Fujian Province, southeastern China.Heavy metal concentrations were determined by inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry(ICP-MS)and evaluated by geo-accumulation index(I_(geo)).Dilute nitric acid extraction was used to evaluate biological activity.Cu,Pb,and Cd were highly bioavailable and most easily absorbed by tea trees.Heavy metal bioavailability in the surface soil was as the ratio of the effective state to the total amount.Cd had the highest I_(geo)values,and the respective samples and sites were classified as moderately/strongly contaminated.Cd element is considered the main factor of heavy metal pollution in the tea garden in Anxi. The other heavy metals studied were present in lower concentrations;thus, the samples were classified as uncontaminated or slightly contaminated. | Jingwei Sun Ruilian Yu Gongren Hu Songhe Jiang Yunfeng Zhang Xiaoming Wang | 2017 | Acta Geochimica2017,36,3: | 2
Distribution, fractionation, and contamination assessment of heavy metals in offshore surface sediments from western Xiamen Bay,China显示文摘Surface sediment samples were collected at 21 offshore sites in western Xiamen Bay, Southeast China.Total concentrations of Li, V, Cr, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Sr, Mn,Pb, Ba, Fe, and Ti were determined by inductively coupled plasma-optical emission spectrometry; Hg was determined by atomic fluorescence spectrometry. A modified BCR sequential extraction procedure was used to extract fractions of the above elements. Concentrations of Pb, Cr, and Hg at most sites met the primary standard criteria of Marine Sediment Quality except site S12 for Pb and S7 for Cr, while concentrations of Zn at 17 sites and Cu at seven sites exceeded the criteria. The mean concentration of Hg was three times higher than the background, with a possible source being the Jiulong River. Fe, Ti, Ba, Co, V, and Li dominated the residual phase, mainly from terrestrial input.Ni, Cr, Pb, and Hg in the non-residual phase varied largely between sites. Sr, Mn, Cu, and Zn were mainly in the nonresidual fraction. Most sites showed considerable ecological risk; exceptions were site S7(very high) and sites S10,S11, and S14(moderate). Cu showed moderate-to-high pollution and Pb exhibited no-to-low pollution, while other metals had a non-pollution status according to their ratios of secondary phase to primary phase(RSP). Results of two assessment methods showed moderate pollution and a veryhigh ecological risk for Cu, Zn, Ni, and Cr at site S7, which might be due to the local sewage treatment plant. | Qiuli Yang Gongren Hu Ruilian Yu Haixing He Chengqi Lin | 2016 | Acta Geochimica2016,35,4: | 2

Oxygen isotope and REE geochemistry of metamorphic veins within the Zhoutan Group, central Jiangxi Province显示文摘Geochemical studies on REE, trace elements and oxygen isotopes from metamorphic veins and their host metasedimentary rocks in the Zhoutan Group at two localities, Xiangshan and Yihuang, in central Jiangxi Province have been conducted in this paper. The results show that the metamorphic quartz veins inherited the REE and oxygen isotope geochemical characteristics from their host rocks, suggesting that the vein-forming fluids were derived from the host rocks. Additionally, fractionation degrees of the trace element pairs Zr-Hf, Nb-Ta, Y-Ho and U-Th in the veins are different from those of their host rocks. It is also indicated that the veins are the products of the fluids. The metamorphic veins within the Zhoutan Group metasedimentary rocks were formed principally as a result of lateral diffusion of the metamorphic fluids. | HU Gongren LIU Congqiang YU Ruilian YU Weihe LIU Yue | 2011 | Chinese Journal Of Geochemistry2011,30,4: | 1

Effective alleviation of Cd stress to microbial communities in mining reclamation soils by thiourea-modified biochar amendment显示文摘Reclaimed soils in mining area usually display low fertility and present Cd stress. The amendment of modified biochar effectively fixes Cd in soils, enhances soil fertility, and reduces Cd stress in soil microorganisms. However, the effect of thiourea-modified biochar(TBC)on microbial adaptability to Cd stress in mining reclamation soils is still unclear. The present work studied the Cd immobilization and microbial community changes in a mining reclamation soil displaying extreme Cd contamination under TBC amendment. The results indicated that the amendment of TBC significantly enhanced(P<0.05)soil pH,the content of available phosphorus(AP),and the activities of urease and polyphenol oxidase by 1.3%,463.4%,54.4%,and 84.0%,respectively,compared to the control without amendment. The amount of toxicity characteristic leaching procedure-extracable Cd decreased(P<0.05)by 68.0%in the TBC-amended soil compared with the unamended soil. The structure of soil microbiota was reorganized and the alpha diversity index was increased in the TBC treatment. The TBC amendment increased the relative abundances of Proteobacteria,Bacteroidota, and Zoopagomycota, which were strongly associated(P<0.01)with higher soil pH and AP.Structural equation model results demonstrated that Cd immobilization was directly influenced by soil pH,AP,and urease, and indirectly affected by bacterial structure in the TBC treatment. The TBC amendment can effectively improve the structural composition of soil bacteria under Cd stress and enhance the pathways of decreasing soil Cd availability as well. The results might facilitate the development of in-situ remediation programs in Cd-contaminated soils in the future. | Yanfeng ZHU Jing MA Fu CHEN Ruilian YU Gongren HU Yongjun YANG | 2022 | Pedosphere2022,32,6: | 0
Simulation on Pyrolysis Products of Thermoset Phenolic Resin with Different Chemical Structure and Experimental Validation显示文摘The simulation on pyrolysis products of pure PF resin with different chemical structure was investigated and validated by pyrolysis gas-chromatography mass spectrometry(Py-GC/MS).The simulation of pyrolysis products of phenolic resin with different chemical structure was investigated by AMBER(Assisted Model Building with Energy Refinement)force field. The content of pyrolysis products phenol and cresol decreases with the increase of F/P(formaldehyde/phenol)value.The content of pyrolysis products dimethylphenol and trimethylphenol increases with the enhancement of F/P value. The crosslink density of phenolic mixture can be measured by the content of pyrolysis products dimethylphenol and trimethylphenol.Consequently, the results of simulation were validated by the Py-GC/MS experiment. | Honglin Hu Lu Zhang Liang Liu Liqin Jiang Na Huang Zhiyu Chen Ruilian Yu Zhizhong Meng | 2019 | 材料科学与工程(中英文A版)2019,9,4: | 0
