2Energetic particles’fluxes and dose in the Radiation Gene Box measured by space radiation detector onboard SJ-10 satellite显示文摘Background To evaluate the hazard of space radiation posing to the tissues,it is important to obtain exact fluxes of different radiation particles.The Radiation Gene Box(RGB)onboard SJ-10 spacecraft was an instrument designed to investigate the effects of space environment on the mESCs and drosophila.To derive the dose received by the tissues inside the RGB,the Space Radiation Detector(SRD)was installed inside it.Purpose The SRD was designed to derive the fluxes of electron,proton,hellion and gamma rays around it.If the type of the particles,the energies,the fluxes and the conversion coefficients are known,the dose received by the tissues could be evaluated.Methods The SRDwas designed as a △E-E solid-state telescope.By measuring the energy deposited in the three subdetectors,the particles’type and their energies could be discriminated.The data of SRDwere divided into 15 bins by the types of particles and their energy ranges.Results The gamma ray flux was higher than any other particle flux inside the RGB,and the electron was the most intense charge particle,while the helium ion was the most harmful radiation to the cells inside the RGB.Conclusion The dose rate inside the Radiation Gene Box was much higher than in the ground,but the integral dose of 12 days inside the RGB was about 2.13 mSv.It seemed unlikely to have obvious biological effects on the tissues of mice and drosophila.Xingzhu Cui Yaqing Liu Wenxi Peng Jinzhou Wang Min Gao Dongya Guo Xiaohua Liang Ruirui Fan Huanyu Wang Yunlong Zhang Zhongjian Ma Mingyang Yan Hong Xiao Yuanda Jiang Haiying Hang 2018Radiation Detection Technology and Methods2018,2,2:2

5Influences of various grazing systems on community biomass of a desert grassland in Inner Mongolia,China显示文摘This study investigated the effects of various grazing systems,including continuous grazing,rotational grazing,and no-grazing systems,on the community biomass in the Stipa breviflora Griseb desert grassland during the grazing seasons in 2005,2006,and 2007,based on study sites established in 1999.We found that the seasonal dynamics of the aboveground biomass were quite similar among the three treatments,which reached peak values in period from August to September during each study year.The continuous grazing system reduced the aboveground biomass from 2005 to 2007 under drought conditions,and the rotational grazing and no-grazing systems maintained more aboveground biomass than the continuous grazing system did.The belowground biomass declined with the increase of soil depth among the three treatments,and in the surface 20-cm soil layer it accounted for more than 60% of the total biomass.The belowground biomass was found to be highly correlated with soil depth under rotational grazing.The total belowground biomass within the 0-100-cm soil layer for rotational grazing was significantly higher than for continuous grazing and no-grazing,and had 15,775 kg/ha more biomass.Our results demonstrate that conservative rotational grazing can alleviate grassland deterioration by reserving more aboveground and belowground biomass than the continuous grazing system does.RuiRui Yan XiaoPing Xin ZhiJun Wei ShiMin Liu Jing Yang GuiXia Yang 2012Research in Cold and Arid Regions2012,4,4:0
6The Value of Apparent Diffusion Coefficient in Differential Diagnosis of Ovarian Cystic Adenoid Tumors显示文摘Objective:To quantitatively analyze apparent diffusion coefficient(ADC)value of cystic composition and solid composition in ovarian cystadenocarcinoma,borderline cystadenoma and cystadenoma by 3.0T magnetic resonance imaging(MRI),and to investigate its diagnostic and differential diagnostic values in ovarian cystic adenoid tumors.Methods:Retrospective analysis was carried out on 28 patients with ovarian cystic adenoid tumor as confirmed by surgical and pathological examinations.Examination was performed by Siemens 3.0T MRI scanner.Tumor size,margin,composition(cystic or solid),signal characteristic and presence of ascites were observed.Combined with localization using T2WI and diffusion weighted imaging(DWI),ADC value was calculated from ADC mapping using region of interest ROI(the largest surface area of cystic and solid compositions in tumor).Statistical analysis was performed.Results:Among the 28 ovarian tumors,there were 13 cases of cystadenomas(5 serous cystadenomas and 9 mucinous cystadenomas),4 borderline mucinous cystadenomas and 11 cystadenocarcinoma(9 serous cystadenocarcinoma and 2 mucinous cystadenocarcinoma).There was no significant intragroup difference in ADC values of cystic composition and solid composition in ovarian cystadenoma and cystadenocarcinoma respectively(P>0.05).The ADC value of solid composition between benign cystadenoma and borderline cystadenoma(P<0.05)showed statistically significantly difference.The difference in ADC value of solid composition between benign cystadenoma and cystadenocarcinoma was also statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in ADC value of cystic composition between benign cystadenoma,borderline cystadenoma and cystadenocarcinoma(P>0.05).Conclusion:Quantitative analysis of ADC value of solid composition using 3.0T MRI has great value in differential diagnosis of benign and malignant ovarian cystic adenoid tumors.Its combination with conventional MRI method can improve the accuracy of diagnosis of ovarian cystic adenoid tumors.Lin Sun Ruirui Xu Wei Yan Meng Zhao Fei Chen 2019Proceedings of Anticancer Research2019,3,2:0
7Attribution of explanatory factors for change in soil organic carbon density in the native grasslands of Inner Mongolia,China显示文摘The variation in soil organic carbon density(SOCD) has been widely documented at various spatial and temporal scales. However, an accurate method for examining the attribution of explanatory factors for change in SOCD is still lacking. This study aims to attribute and quantify the key climatic factors, anthropogenic activities, and soil properties associated with SOCD change in the native grasslands of Inner Mongolia, China, by comparing data between the 1960s and the 2010s. In 2007 and 2011, we resampled 142 soil profiles which were originally sampled during 1963–1964 in the native grasslands of Inner Mongolia. SOCD was determined in A horizon(eluvial horizon) of the soil. We selected the explanatory factors based on a random forest method, and explored the relationships between SOCD change and each of the explanatory factors using a linear mixed model. Our results indicated that the change in SOCD varied from the east to the west of Inner Mongolia, and SOCD was 18% lower in the 2010s than in the 1960s. The lower SOCD in the 2010s may primarily be attributed to the increasing in mean annual water surface evaporation, which explained approximately 10% and 50% of the total variation and explainable variation in the change in SOCD, respectively. The sand content of the soil is also a significant explanatory factor for the decrease in SOCD, which explained about 4% and 21% of the total variation and explainable variation in the change in SOCD, respectively. 8A multidimensional platform of patient-derived tumors identifies drug susceptibilities for clinical lenvatinib resistance显示文摘Lenvatinib,a second-generation multi-receptor tyrosine kinase inhibitor approved by the FDA for first-line treatment of advanced liver cancer,facing limitations due to drug resistance.Here,we applied a multidimensional,high-throughput screening platform comprising patient-derived resistant liver tumor cells(PDCs),organoids(PDOs),and xenografts(PDXs)to identify drug susceptibilities for conquering lenvatinib resistance in clinically relevant settings.Expansion and passaging of PDCs and PDOs from resistant patient liver tumors retained functional fidelity to lenvatinib treatment,expediting drug repurposing screens.Pharmacological screening identified romidepsin,YM155,apitolisib,NVP-TAE684 and dasatinib as potential antitumor agents in lenvatinib-resistant PDC and PDO models.Notably,romidepsin treatment enhanced antitumor response in syngeneic mouse models by triggering immunogenic tumor cell death and blocking the EGFR signaling pathway.A combination of romidepsin and immunotherapy achieved robust and synergistic antitumor effects against lenvatinib resistance in humanized immunocompetent PDX models.Collectively,our findings suggest that patient-derived liver cancer models effectively recapitulate lenvatinib resistance observed in clinical settings and expedite drug discovery for advanced liver cancer,providing a feasible multidimensional platform for personalized medicine.Lei Sun Arabella H.Wan Shijia Yan Ruonian Liu Jiarui Li Zhuolong Zhou Ruirui Wu Dongshi Chen Xianzhang Bu Jingxing Ou Kai Li Xiongbin Lu Guohui Wan Zunfu Ke 2024Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2024,14,1:0
9Effects of the grazing systems on germinable soil seed bank of desert steppe显示文摘We studied a soil seed bank in the Stipa breviflora desert steppe under three grassland management systems,namely continuous grazing,rotational grazing,and no grazing,from 1999 until 2007.The germinable seed bank species in rotational,continuous and no grazing were 11,9 and 8 species,respectively.Rotational grazing increased the number of seed bank plant species and perennial grasses.The density of germinal soil seed bank was significantly higher in the enclosed area(19,533.33 seeds/m 2) than those in rotational(3,233.33 seeds/m 2) and continuous grazing areas(2,553.60 seeds/m 2).The vertical distribution of the soil seed bank had a similar trend:75.06%-83.19% of the seeds are distributed in the top 0-5 cm soil layer,14.16%-21.68% in the 5-10 cm layer,and 2.65%-4.95% in the 10-15 cm layer,which varied between the grazing treatments.Density of the soil seed bank was significantly higher in the enclosed area,and there was no significant difference between rotational and continuous grazing.The Margalef and Shannon-Wiener indices for the soil seed bank were higher for rotational grazing treatment than for continuous grazing.The Sorensen's similarity index for the soil seed bank between the enclosed and rotational grazing areas reached 0.857.RuiRui Yan ZhiJun Wei XiaoPing Xin HongMei Liu Jing Yang Qiqige Wuren 2012Research in Cold and Arid Regions2012,4,1:0

12A novel protein domain is important for photosystem Ⅱ complex assembly and photoautotrophic growth in angiosperms显示文摘Photosystem Ⅱ(PSⅡ)is a multi-subunit protein complex of the photosynthetic electron transport chain that is vital to photosynthesis.Although the structure,composition,and function of PSⅡ have been extensively studied,its biogenesis mechanism remains less understood.Thylakoid rhodanese-like(TROL)provides an anchor for leaf-type ferredoxin:NADP^(+)oxidoreductase.Here,we report the chacterizaton of a second type of TROL protein,TROL2,encoded by seed plant genomes whose function has not previously been reported.We show that TROL2 is a PSⅡ assembly cofactor with essential roles in the establishment of photoautotrophy.TROL2 contains a 45-amino-acid domain,termed the chlorotic lethal seedling(CLS)domain,that is both necessary and sufficient for TROL2 function in PSⅡ assembly and photoautotrophic growth.Phylogenetic analyses suggest that TROL2 may have arisen from ancestral TROL1 via gene duplication before the emergence of seed plants and acquired the CLS domain via evolution of the sequence encoding its N-terminal portion.We further reveal that TROL2(or CLS)forms an assembly cofactor complex with the intrinsic thylakoid membrane protein LOW PSⅡ ACCUMULATION2 and interacts with small PSⅡ subunits to facilitate PSⅡ complex assembly.Collectively,our study not only shows that TROL2(CLS)is essential for photoautotrophy in angiosperms but also reveals its mechanistic role in PSⅡ complex assembly,shedding light on the molecular and evolutionary mechanisms of photosynthetic complex assemblyin angiosperms.Wei Li Jiangfan Guo Xue Han Xiaowen Da Kai Wang Hongfei Zhao Shi-Tang Huange Bosheng Li Hang He Ruirui Jiang Shichen Zhou Peng Yan Tao Chen Yi He Jiming Xu Yu Liu Yunrong Wu Huixia Shou Zhongchang Wu Chuanzao Mao Xiaorong Mo 2023Molecular Plant2023,16,2:0

15Ce^(3+) sensitized Tb^(3+) and Dy^(3+) photoluminescence in β-LaB_(5)O_(9) prepared by sol-gel method显示文摘Rare earth(RE) pentaborates,both α-and β-polymorphs,are good candidates for photoluminescent hosts suitable for various RE activators,Ce^(3+) acts not only as an activator itself,but also as a sensitizer to other rare earth activators,like in the case of commercial green phosphor CeMgAl_(11)O_(19):Tb^(3+).In this work,two solid solutions of β-La_(0.9-x)Ce_(0.1)Tb_(x)B_(5)O_(9)(0≤x≤0.15) and β-La_(0.9-y)Ce_(0.1)Dy_(y)B_(5)O_(9)(0≤y≤0.07)were prepared by sol-gel method with high crystallinity,and the phase purity was confirmed with careful analyses on powder X-ray diffraction patterns.Energy transfers are expected due to the overlapping of Ce^(3+)emission with the Tb^(3+)/Dy^(3+)excitation.Indeed,the steady photoluminescence spectra indicate the decrease of the Ce^(3+)emission and the increase of the Tb^(3+)/Dy^(3+) emission,and the fluorescence decay curves exhibit the decrease of the average lifetime of Ce^(3+).The energy transfer efficiency is estimated to be 60% at χ=0.15 and 55% at y=0.07,respectively.The mechanism is likely through the dipole-dipole electric interactions for both cases.With this rationale,the Tb^(3+)and Dy^(3+)emissions are greatly enhanced,in particular,the white emission of Dy^(3+)in β-La_(0.85)Ce_(0.1)Dy_(0.05)B_(5)O_(9) is enhanced by 20 times.Yuxuan Qi Ruirui Yang Yan Gao Pengfei Jiang Rihong Cong Tao Yang 2022Journal of Rare Earths2022,40,8:0
16Efficacy Differences of First-line EGFR-TKIs Alone vs in Combination with Chemotherapy in Advanced Lung Adenocarcinoma Patients with Sensitive EGFR Mutation and Concomitant Non-EGFR Genetic Alterations显示文摘Background and objective:Epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR)mutations are often associated with non-EGFR genetic alterations,which maybe a reason for the poor efficacy of EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitors(TKIs).Here we conducted this study to explore whether EGFR-TKIs combined with chemotherapy would benefit advanced lung adenocarcinoma patients with both sensitive EGFR mutation and concomitant non-EGFR genetic alterations.Materials and methods:Cases of advanced lung adenocarcinoma with EGFR mutation combined with concomitant nonEGFR genetic alterations were retrospectively collected.And the patients were required to receive first-line EGFR-TKIs and chemotherapy combination or EGFR-TKIs monotherapy.Demographic,clinical and pathological data were collected,and the electronic imaging data were retrieved to evaluate the efficacy and time of disease progression.Survival data were obtained through face-to-face or telephone follow-up.The differences between the two groups in objective response rate(ORR),disease control rate(DCR),progression-free survival(PFS)and overall survival(OS)were investigated.Results:107 patients were included,including 63 cases in the combination group and 44 cases in the monotherapy group.The ORR were 78%and 50%(P=0.003),and DCR were 97%and 77%(P=0.002),respectively.At a median follow-up of 13.7 mon,a PFS event occurred in 38.1%and 81.8%of patients in the two groups,with median PFS of18.8 mon and 5.3 mon,respectively(P<0.000,1).Median OS was unreached in the combination group,and 27.8 mon in the monotherapy group(P=0.31).According to the Cox multivariate regression analysis,combination therapy was an independent prognostic factor of PFS.Conclusion:In patients with EGFR-mutant advanced lung adenocarcinoma with concomitant non-EGFR genetic alterations,combination of TKIs and chemotherapy was significantly superior to EGFR-TKIs monotherapy,which should be the preferred treatment option.Guowei ZHANG Ruirui CHENG Yuanyuan NIU Huijuan WANG Xiangtao YAN Mina ZHANG Xiaojuan ZHANG Jinpo YANG Chunhua WEI Zhiyong MA 2022中国肺癌杂志2022,25,9:0
17Correlation of PCSK1 with nonalcoholic fatty liver disease in a Han Chinese population:a case-control observational study显示文摘Objective: This study aimed to investigate the association between single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) ofPCSK1 (proprotein convertase subtilisin/kexin type 1) related to obesity and nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD).Methods: In this case-control observational study, four candidate SNPs (rs6234, rs155971, rs6232, rs3811951) ofPCSK1 were genotyped in 732 NAFLD patients and 823 healthy control participants, all of whom were of ethnic Han Chinese descent. All participants came from Shanghai, China, and joined our study during 2015 to 2016. The frequencies of each allele and genotype, paired linkage disequilibrium, and haplotype were calculated on the SHEsis platform. In addition to SHEsis, five different genetic models (codominant, dominant, recessive, overdominant, and log-additive) were employed to identify the correlation between genotype frequency and NAFLD. This study was approved by the Medical Ethics Committee of Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (approved No. 2017LCSY069).Results: In a comparison of NAFLD patients and healthy participants, none of the fourPCSK1 SNPs were significantly correlated with the occurrence of NAFLD (P>0.05), in either genotypic or allelic distribution.
