1SEQUENCE VARIABILITY OF HUMAN CYTOMEGALOVIRUS UL144 OPEN READING FRAME IN LOW-PASSAGE CLINICAL ISOLATES显示文摘Objective To explore the relationship between human cytomegalovirus (HCMV) UL144 sequence variability and clinical disease. Methods HCMV UL144 open reading frame (ORF) was amplified by PCR assay in 72 lowpassage isolates [65 con-genitally infective children and 7 healthy children who were HCMV-DNA positive by quantitative PCR (qPCR)]. All positive PCR products were analyzed by heteroduplex mobility assay and single-stranded conformation polymorphism (HMA-SSCP) and 32 of them were sequenced. Results Fifty-five patient isolates and five healthy children isolates were HCMV-UL144 positive by PCR. Sequencing and HMA-SSCP analysis showed that significant strain-specific variability was present in the UL144 ORF. Phylogenetic analysis indicated that the nucleotide sequences could be separated into 3 major genotypes. Comparing between UL144 se-quences and the corresponding symptoms showed that genotype 2 did not exist in megacolon isolates. And genotype 1 and 3 were the major types among microcephaly and jaundice isolates respectively. Conclusions HCMV-UL144 existed in most of low passage isolates and sequences were hypervariable. 3Laser processed micro-supercapacitors based on carbon nanotubes/manganese dioxide nanosheets composite with excellent electrochemical performance and aesthetic property显示文摘Micro-supercapacitors with excellent electrochemical performance and aesthetic property are realized using the carbon nanotubes/manganese dioxide nanosheets(CNTs/δ-MnO_2) composite as electrodes.This CNTs/d-MnO_2 nanocomposite is excellently compatible with the slurry dispensing process for electrode fabrication, and thus is conducive for preparing thick electrode films, which exhibits a specific capacitance of 257 F/g with an electrode thickness of 13μm. By involving laser-scribing technique, the electrode film can be patterned with a high resolution and fabricated into a planar micro-supercapacitor,showing the maximum energy density of 6.83 mWh/cm^3 at the power density of 154.3 mW/cm^3, and maintained a value of 2.71 mWh/cm^3 at the maximum power density of 2557.5 mW/cm^3. Considering the versatility of the laser-scribing technical platform, the micro-supercapacitors fabricated in this way exhibit excellent aesthetic property and can cater to various miniaturized wearable electronic applications. 9Interface-directed epitaxially growing nickle ensembles as efficient catalysts in dry reforming of methane显示文摘Supported nickel catalysts are promising candidates for dry reforming of methane, but agglomeration of Ni^(0) and coke deposition hinder the industrial applications. Herein, we report a novel interface-directed synthetic approach to construct distinct metal ensembles by carefully tuning the compositions of the carriers. A Zr-Mn-Zn ternary oxide-supported Ni catalyst, together with the respective binary oxide-supported analogues, was synthesized by adopting a sequential co-precipitation and wetness impregnation method. Combined characterization techniques identify distinct catalyst models, including (i) conventional NiO nanoparticles with different sizes on Zr-Mn and Zr-Zn, and (ii) epitaxially growing NiO ensembles of a few nanometers thickness at the periphery of ZnO_(x) particles. These catalysts exhibit divergent responses in the catalytic testing, with the ternary oxide system significantly outperforming the binary analogues. The strong electronic interactions between Mn-Ni increase Ni dispersion and the activity while the stability is strengthened upon Zn addition. Both high activity, high selectivity, and remarkable stability are attained upon co-adding Mn and Zn.
