| 4 | Hierarchical,seamless,edge-rich nanocarbon hybrid foams for highly efficient electromagnetic-interference shielding显示文摘Lightweight,flexible,ultrahigh-performance electromagnetic-interfe rence(EMI)shielding materials are urgently required in the areas of aircraft/aerospace,portable and wearable electronics.Herein,1 D carbon nanotubes(CNT)and carbon nanofibers(CNF)with 2 D edge-rich graphene(ERG)are used to form a lightweight,flexible CNT-ERG-CNF hybrid foam.This foam was fabricated through a self-sacrificial templating chemical vapor deposition process,where nanocarbons bond through covalent bonding,forming a hierarchical 3 D hybridized carbon nanostructure.Multistage conductive networks and heterogeneous interfaces were constructed using edge-rich nanocarbons to increase the induced currents and interfacial polarization which makes great contributions to achieve high absorption electromagnetic shielding effectiveness(SEA).The CNT-ERG-CNF hybrid foam exhibits EMI shielding effectiveness(SE)exceeding55.4 dB in the X-band while the specific SE(SSE,SE divided by mass density)achieves 9200 dB cm^(3)g^(-1),which surpasses that of nearly all other carbon-based composite materials.Furthermore,the structural stability and durability of the flexible CNT-ERG-CNF hybrid foams is examined by measuring EMI SE after 10000 times cyclic bending.Remarkably,this work not only provides a new idea for preparing hierarchical carbon materials for a wide range of applications,but presents some fundamental insights for achieving higher absorption losses in EMI shielding materials. | Liyuan Han Qiang Song Kezhi Li Xuemin Yin Jiajia Sun Hejun Li Fengpei Zhang Xinran Ren Xi Wang | 2021 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,13: | 2 |

| 8 | Effect of nickel introduced by electroplating on pyrocarbon deposition of carbon-fiber preforms显示文摘In order to improve the deposition rate and microstructure of pyrocarbon, nickel was introduced by electroplating on carbon fibers and used as a catalyst during the deposition of pyrocarbon at 1000 C using methane as a precursor gas. The distribution of nickel catalyst and the microstructure of pyrocarbon were characterized by scanning electron microscopy(SEM), energy dispersive spectroscopy(EDS), X-ray diffraction(XRD), and Raman micro-spectrometry. Results show that nano-sized nickel particles could be well distributed on carbon fibers and the pyrocarbon deposited catalytically had a smaller d002 value and a higher graphitization degree compared with that without catalyst. In addition, the deposition rate of pyrocarbon in each hour was measured.The deposition rate of pyrocarbon in the first hour was more than 10 times when carbon cloth substrates were doped with nickel catalysts as compared to the pure carbon cloths. | 9 | Ore genesis of Badi copper deposit, northwest Yunnan Province, China: evidence from geology, fluid inclusions, and sulfur, hydrogen and oxygen isotopes显示文摘The Badi copper deposit is located in Shangjiang town, Shangri-La County, Yunnan Province. Tectonically,it belongs to the Sanjiang Block. Vapor–liquid two-phase fluid inclusions, CO_2-bearing fluid inclusions, and daughter-bearing inclusions were identified in sulfide-rich quartz veins. Microthermometric and Raman spectroscopy studies revealed their types of ore-forming fluids:(1) low-temperature, low-salinity fluid;(2) medium-temperature, low salinity CO_2-bearing; and(3) high-temperature, Fe-rich,high sulfur fugacity. The δ^(18)O values of chalcopyritebearing quartz ranged from 4.96‰ to 5.86‰, with an average of 5.40‰. The δD values of ore-forming fluid in equilibrium with the sulfide-bearing quartz were from-87‰ to-107‰, with an average of-97.86‰. These isotopic features indicate that the ore-forming fluid is a mixing fluid between magmatic fluid and meteoric water.The δ^(34)S values of chalcopyrite ranged from 13.3‰ to15.5‰, with an average of 14.3‰. Sulfur isotope values suggest that the sulfur in the deposit most likely derived from seawater. Various fluid inclusions coexisted in the samples; similar homogenization temperature to different phases suggests that the Badi fluid inclusions might have been captured under a boiling system.
