| 1 | Lipid Oxidation and Fatty Acid Composition in Salt-Dried Yellow Croaker(Pseudosciaena polyactis) During Processing显示文摘Lipid oxidation in salt-dried yellow croaker(Pseudosciaena polyactis) was evaluated during processing with commonly used analytical indices, such as the peroxide value(POV), the thiobarbituric acid reactive substances(TBARS) value, and oxidative-relative lipoxygenase(LOX) activity. Additionally, fatty acids were analyzed using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. Both POV and TBARS increased significantly(P < 0.05) at the rinsing stage. POV reached its peak value of 3.63 meq O_2 per kg sample at the drying stage, whereas TBARS constantly increased from 0.05 to 0.20 mg MDA per kg sample. Processing of salt-dried yellow croaker had an extremely significant(P < 0.01) effect on LOX activity. Twenty-six fatty acids were identified. Combined eicosapentaenoic acid(EPA; C20:5n3) and docosahexaenoic acid(DHA; C22:6n3) content varied between(19.20 ±0.37) mg g^(-1) and(23.45 ± 1.05) mg g^(-1). The polyunsaturated fatty acid/saturated fatty acid(PUFA/SFA) ratio in yellow croaker was 0.73–1.10, and the n-6/n-3 PUFA ratio was approximately 0.13–0.20. The contents of most fatty acids varied significantly(P <0.05) during the different processing stages, and these differences were caused by lipid oxidation. C18:0, C16:1n7, C19:0, and C22:6n3 showed clear changes in principle component one of a principle components analysis. | 4 | Typhoon storm surge ensemble forecast based on GPU technique显示文摘The accuracy of typhoon forecasts plays an important role in the prediction of storm surges.The uncertainty of a typhoon’s intensity and track means it is necessary to use an ensemble model to predict typhoon storm surges.A hydrodynamic model,which is operational at the National Marine Environmental Forecasting Center,is applied to conduct surge simulations for South China coastal areas using the best track data with parametric wind and pressure models.The results agree well with tidal gauge observations.To improve the calculation efficiency,the hydrodynamic model is modified using CUDA Fortran.The calculation results are almost the same as those from the original model,but the calculation time is reduced by more than 99%.A total of 150 typhoon cases are generated by combining 50 typhoon tracks from the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts with three possible typhoon intensity forecasts.The surge ensembles are computed by the improved hydrodynamic model.Based on the simulated storm surges for the different typhoon cases,ensemble and probability forecast products can be provided.The mean ensemble results and probability forecast products are shown to agree well with the observed storm surge caused by Typhoon Mangkhut.The improved model is highly suitable for ensemble numerical forecasts,providing better forecast products for decision-making,and can be easily implemented to run on regular workstations. | Qiuxing Liu Jinrong Jiang Fujiang Yu Changkuan Zhang Jianxi Dong Xiaojiang Song Yuzhu Wang | 2020 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2020,39,5: | 1 |

| 7 | pH-activatable oxidative stress amplifying dissolving microneedles for combined chemo-photodynamic therapy of melanoma显示文摘Photodynamic therapy(PDT)-mediated oxidation treatment is extremely attractive for skin melanoma ablation,but the strong hydrophobicity and poor tumor selectivity of photosensitizers,as well as the oxygen-consuming properties of PDT,leading to unsatisfactory therapeutic outcomes.Herein,a tumor acidic microenvironment activatable dissolving microneedle(DHA@HPFe-MN)was developed to realize controlled drug release and excellent chemo-photodynamic therapy of melanoma via oxidative stress amplification.The versatile DHA@HPFe-MN was fabricated by crosslinking a self-synthesized protoporphyrin(PpIX)-ADH-hyaluronic acid(HA)conjugate HA-ADH-PpIX with“iron reservoir”PA-Fe 3+complex in the needle tip via acylhydrazone bond formation,and dihydroartemisinin(DHA)was concurrently loaded in the hydrogel network.HA-ADH-PpIX with improved water solubility averted undesired aggregation of PpIX to ensure enhanced PDT effect.DHA@HPFe-MN with sharp needle tip,efficient drug loading and excellent mechanical strength could efficiently inserted into skin and reach the melanoma sites,where the acidic pH triggered the degradation of microneedles,enabling Fe-activated and DHA-mediated oxidation treatment,as evidenced by abundant reactive oxygen species(ROS)generation.Moreover,under light irradiation,a combined chemo-photodynamic therapeutic effect was achieved with amplified ROS generation.Importantly,the Fe-catalyzed ROS production of DHA was oxygen-independent,which work in synergy with the oxygen-dependent PDT to effectively destroy tumor cells.This versatile microneedles with excellent biosafety and biodegradability can be customized as a promising localized drug delivery system for combined chemo-photodynamic therapy of melanoma. | Yanjuan Huang Hualu Lai Jingwen Jiang Xiaoyu Xu Zishan Zeng Lingling Ren Qiuxing Liu Meixu Chen Tao Zhang Xin Ding Chunshun Zhao Shengmiao Cui | 2022 | Asian Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences2022,17,5: | 1 |

| 13 | A typhoon-induced storm surge numerical model with GPU acceleration based on an unstructured spherical centroidal Voronoi tessellation grid显示文摘Storm surge is often the marine disaster that poses the greatest threat to life and property in coastal areas.Accurate and timely issuance of storm surge warnings to take appropriate countermeasures is an important means to reduce storm surge-related losses.Storm surge numerical models are important for storm surge forecasting.To further improve the performance of the storm surge forecast models,we developed a numerical storm surge forecast model based on an unstructured spherical centroidal Voronoi tessellation(SCVT)grid.The model is based on shallow water equations in vector-invariant form,and is discretized by Arakawa C grid.The SCVT grid can not only better describe the coastline information but also avoid rigid transitions,and it has a better global consistency by generating high-resolution grids in the key areas through transition refinement.In addition,the simulation speed of the model is accelerated by using the openACC-based GPU acceleration technology to meet the timeliness requirements of operational ensemble forecast.It only takes 37 s to simulate a day in the coastal waters of China.The newly developed storm surge model was applied to simulate typhoon-induced storm surges in the coastal waters of China.The hindcast experiments on the selected representative typhoon-induced storm surge processes indicate that the model can reasonably simulate the distribution characteristics of storm surges.The simulated maximum storm surges and their occurrence times are consistent with the observed data at the representative tide gauge stations,and the mean absolute errors are 3.5 cm and 0.6 h respectively,showing high accuracy and application prospects. | Yuanyong Gao Fujiang Yu Cifu Fu Jianxi Dong Qiuxing Liu | 2024 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2024,43,3: | 0 |
